Ming Kee Restaurant
Tried roasted squab for the first time, and it was surprisingly tasty! It had a very interesting texture, incredibly similar to liver. If you like liver, you’ll like this. It’s worth a try! I also had the sesame rice balls for dessert, and they were really good - would recommend! I wouldn’t go out of my way for anything here, but it’s not worth going out of your way if you’re already here. Oh, and the general tso was really good, 8 out of 10.
Its a to go place but a few locals find a little spot to eat inside. The bbq pork is really good. If your order the rice plate comes with a side of boiled lettuce and the ginger garlic dressing. So good. For $11.00 cash. You can eat half and save the other half later. Got lucky the line was short but they are fairly fast. Unfortunately, no parking around unless you take the K or the 29. Or park a few blocks in the neighborhood.
Chase Luck Bakery
My go to for quick & affordable meals! Quality is super ok for the price . Nothing beats their price with quantity and taste. $9 for a meal - noodles, fish & spareribs !! $10 for that chicken feet . Ok for me are fish , pork chop , spareribs , chicken buns , rice rolls , chicken feet & spareribs .
Delicious food at an amazing price. This is a standard Chinese bakery with hot food and the food is great. A plate of food we selected: noodles, spareribs and green beans, and fried tofu $5. We also bought rice balls, steam buns, and pot stickers total $23. Throne plate alone would be $16 or more in other places. Amazing.
Orchids Cafe
This is my first time back to Orchids Cafe since they re-opened for indoor dining a year and a half ago. For the longest time, I saw they were only opened for take-out when I drove by. The food here is delicious with authentic HK flavors. My iced milked tea was very good. They are now added to my rotation of restaurants to eat at for lunch. (Usually I go to 21 Taste House, Chase Luck, Dots, Fate Tea House, GoGo 7, Jojo's or Pakwan.) Today, I only had 30 mins for lunch because of the loading parking meter limit and opted for the curry pork chop spaghetti instead of the longer prep time baked pork chop spaghetti (takes 20 mins.) To my surprise, pork chopS came out. On the menu, it only listed a singular "pork chop." What a pleasant surprise! That and they were huge. The chef did a great job. They put the curry on the side so that the crunchy tonkatsu don't get soft. The breading on the pork chops were on point. Service was excellent as there was only one other party dining during lunch. Great job everyone at Orchids Cafe. I felt at home with the soft Cantonese music playing in the background.
Went in shortly after opening on a Friday. Chilly late April day, place was empty but a very steady stream of pick up orders. My partner and I were on the verge of crashing out, tired of our week's move from Cayuga Terrace to here in Ingleside (a move is a move regardless of distance, ha). Similar story to others, we wanted our food quick so we opted for the curry plates instead of the baked food. We ordered a pork chop curry and the beef brisket curry, both over spaghetti. We were contemplating of powering it through the meal to go home and make some mocha pot coffee or to visit a shop nearby for our caffeine fix. To our surprise, Kevin comes from the kitchen like a super hero with a pair of large mugs of HK tea, on the house. The food was incredible, sadly I don't have any pictures as we didn't wait to clean our plates. The pork chops (the order came with 2) were truly something special and we'll be ordering that every time, and rotate the other entree as we try out the menu. Kevin's hospitalality was truly memorable, will be back many times. 5/5
Dim Sum King
The ABSOLUTE BEST dim sum i’ve ever had!!Plus it was a great price. A real hidden gem! You don’t come to a dim sum place for the atmosphere, you come for the quality!!!
What a good find. Food was above average and extra star for the price. We got 5 dim sum items, a bun, and a milk tea for $22. The crispy BBQ bun is EXCELLENT. The rice noodles rolls and pot stickers were really good too! The shrimp dumplings and glutinous rice dumpling were mid tho. The place had some seating so you can eat there. Parking is difficult. Have to spend over $20 for credit card use so bring cash or bring an empty stomach.
Chef Hunan
As a Chinese customer, I sincerely suggest to the owner that this restaurant needs significant improvements in both its food and service. The style of the food is quite American, which does not match its price. I ordered a fried rice and a soup. The fried rice was acceptable, but the soup was extremely unpleasant. I didn’t even finish it. When I was about to take a break and check my phone, the staff unexpectedly urged me to eat quickly. I really don’t understand this behavior. In short, I hope this restaurant can make changes and improve their food and service.
This is a mystery place that looks super old with really good affordable Chinese food but no one except locals seem to go to. Anything fried, they do exceptionally really really well. Their fried rice is top quality and their ingredients are fresh. You can tell everything is freshly made. Ok so the dine in experience isn't the best. Their rundown indoor and table almost look like it could be dirty but they are not. You get a fresh pot of tea even if you dine alone and not many places in SF you can dine in for lunch under $15 that actually has food you want to eat. Oh forgot to mention their chili oil. Don't know it's in house or bought but it's so good. Not brunt and clear deep red with just the right amount of heat and flavor. Recommend.
CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD
You know this place shmack when the place looks like it barely passed the safety inspection. The place is mainly ran by the old dude that smokes that cigarette before he preps your food. End result? Bussin food at an affordable price. And i mean real affordable. I’ve been going to this place as a child and i’m still living. It wouldn’t hurt to try it out, you won’t regret it.
I love this place. However, it has been closed everyday since mid November. Closed for over three months now. I'm afraid something happened to the owner. Fingers crossed they're okay and on a much deserved vacation and will return soon.
Do Eat Restaurant
I ordered some spinach and soups. Restaurant contacted me saying they don't have spinach and wants to know what else I want instead I told them I'll keep the soup and nothing else. I asked for refund. The female didn't respond and never refunded my spinachⁿ portion of the bill. They're dishonest and greedy I will never order from them again. The restaurant replied my review saying they don't have my card info. What a loaf of crap. They know how GrubHub works. They contacted me for a replacement order. Now they said they don't have information on my card for a refund? They can always call me to obtain the information. They knows after 48 hours they can keep the money for themselves. These greedy dishonest people I will not order and refer them to anyone else. As for GrubHub I'll never use their services again. The restaurant replied my recent update on my review. Now they're saying I ordered on GrubHub app etc ..... Once again what a loaf of crap At least they can contact GrubHub to refund me and reduce the fees paid. GrubHub and the restaurant conspires to make money the easy way to scam consumers that use their services. These greedy services providers cannot be trusted I'll contact CNN and other news media to advice consumers not to trust and use their services. To the restaurant owner you don't need to reply for further excuses. I have enough BS from you Thank you good day. I almost forgot that day I didn't speak English I spoke Chinese Cantonese to be extract. So, don't give me that your staffs not good with English. Total BS. TO ALL CURRENT AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS OR PATRONS BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!
This is my favorite go-to place to order on Doordash. I order the duck + crispy pork rice and crispy pork and rice entrees. They are always very generous with portions and flavors are consistently amazing. It is a wonderful value for the price. The scallion pancake is decent too! You won't regret it.
Panda Express
What’s up family. If you’re looking for a good panda express to get some good food do you want to check out this panda express. It is very busy but it’s worth the way. The customer service is off the hook if you stop by let them know Pastor Dre sent you.
Panda Express is a great spot for quick and tasty meals! Favorites like the Orange Chicken and Chow Mein never disappoint. The service is fast, and the portions are generous. Perfect for a casual and delicious bite!
Peking Wok Restaurant
3rd Street Chinese, tidy interior, cash only. Big portions, but higher prices. Salt and Pepper Prawns, with little taste of pepper. While crunchy, the oil tasted as though in need of changing.

Hong Kong BBQ Restaurant
Got some roast meat take out here. Got roast pork and ribs — both were tasty. This is the busiest place on the planet block! I could see that hey have generous portions.
Really nice lady serving there. The food is good and flavorful. Regular homestyle cooking. There are two restaurants that look similar to each other next door to each other. Make sure to go to the correct location ( 3 item plate for $6 ) a very big plate. Also more valuable to purchase food by the takeout box as well.
Chef Li's Cafe Hk B.B.Q
Menu was relatively cheap, portion sizes are good for the price. Free soup was decent but had a funky smell. Sesame chicken was rubbery, do not get it. Roasted pork was tender. Fujian fried rice was great. Beef tomato was good but missing eggs. All in all, you get what you pay for.
VALUE! $26 all you can eat hotpot with a huge menu! They have everything from the standard hotpot meats/veggies/noodles, plus BBQ meats from their front store, plus many other miscellaneous Chinese dishes. The meats were solid but not the best. (I thought lamb was the best.) My favorites were their homemade shrimp paste and wontons.
Sunshine Wheat Field Dim Sum
First time at this place and their deep fried shrimp puffs are soooo good. Crispy crunchy and mm good, ordered a 50pc and they gave us 3 plates of it .. it was still crunchy hours later. Ordered two of everything that was on display however I forgot to ask for their pork buns. Their porridge is similar to what we eat in the island and it definitely brought back memories of chicken soup with rice. Gotta go back and try their steam buns. The only minus for me is whatever ingredients they use for their pork that I don't like so the pot stickers and pancake pork wasn't to my liking but everything else I really enjoyed and it's ok because everyone's palate is different. The staff was nice and I could tell that this place is popular, where there's a line outside that's a spot everyone has to try.
The prices are super affordable, making it perfect for a casual meal or a quick to go. Their siu mai is absolutely unbeatable—perfectly steamed, juicy, and packed with flavor. The rest of the dim sum menu is equally delicious, with a great variety of classic options. If you’re looking for authentic dim sum without breaking the bank, this is the spot to go. Highly recommend! Plus it has a great bakery next door to it which makes me always come back.
