Wow! Peace China is a true hidden gem! The portions here are absolutely incredible - when they say generous servings, they mean it. My sweet and sour chicken could have easily fed two people, and I paid less than I would at other Chinese restaurants in the area. The value for money is outstanding. Not only do you get these massive portions at reasonable prices, but the food quality doesn't suffer at all. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and bursting with flavor. The fried rice alone could be a meal itself! I especially loved how they didn't skimp on the meat in the dishes - you get plenty of protein, not just filler. The leftovers made for an amazing lunch the next day. If you're looking for delicious Chinese food that won't break the bank and will keep you fed for days, Peace China is the place to go. A real bargain that doesn't compromise on taste or quality!

It was good, but I probably wouldn't go back. The general tso wasn't crunchy and kinda tough. The fried rice has good flavor but was pretty greasy. It was also a touch expensive for the price. The egg rolls were very good and crispy.

Overall: 7.9/10 A delightful hotspot known for its engaging food selection process and joyful atmosphere, highlighted by adorable panda decorations. The venue is fairly clean, with some outdoor seating available. The pricing is reasonable, making it an appealing choice for food enthusiasts looking to customize their meals. Atmosphere: 7.5/10 While the decor focuses less on luxury and more on the sheer pleasure of eating, the charming panda theme adds a unique touch that enhances the casual and friendly environment. Service: 8.0/10 The service is notably helpful, with staff members who are eager to explain the ordering process and the ingredients involved, contributing to a welcoming and informative dining experience. Soup: 8.9/10 Exceptional in both taste and concept, the soup stands out due to the ability to personalize ingredients according to preference, paid by weight. The broth is delicious, and the freedom to choose and experiment with different components makes each visit uniquely satisfying. Fresh, high-quality ingredients ensure the final product is consistently impressive.

Definitely a spot to stop by! Get as much or as little as you want. It goes by the weight of your bowl. We had fun and it taste amazing. We love how they have so many choices to put into our bowl. Also the level of spice is perfect. Again pick what you want.

Ordered for the first time and had it delivered by door dash. The food arrived on time and nothing was spilled. (We had a few liquids.) Everything was delicious. Shrimp rolls were big and plump. Shrimp Hunan had medium size shrimp and plenty for two to share and was the right amount of spicy we asked for. House lo mein was FULL of meat and shrimp. Sweet and sour chicken was enough for 4! The only thing that could have been better was the little bag of fried noodles. They are one of my favorite things. They were very light in color so could have been cooked a little longer and there was hardly any in the bag. I think we’ve found our new Chinese place! Definitely order again.

I came here and ordered takeout because I heard it was good, and it looked like they make their dumplings in-house which is very important to me. I'm getting tired of places using manufactured frozen dumplings. They all taste the same and it's not worth the money. So when I went in to order, I asked the person taking my order if the dumplings are made in-house. I was informed that a lot of their items are made in-house, which I was pleased with. I ordered an order of fried dumplings, and then I got a special dinner combo of chicken with broccoli, and I paid extra to have lo mein as the side instead of rice. The special dinner combo also comes with an egg roll. I realized that I ordered a lot of food, but I had been craving good Chinese takeout, and I could make the food stretch for multiple meals. The fried dumplings were definitely homemade. The meat inside was very juicy and had an interesting taste to it. It was more sweet than savory, which was interesting, but not completely a terrible thing. The chicken with broccoli was good, but had a light brown sauce instead of a dark brown sauce that I like. The dark brown sauces tend to be more flavorful and savory. The chicken and broccoli were cooked to my liking, though, and the food was hot and tasty. The lo mein noodles were delicious and tasted fantastic. The egg roll was pretty bland. Overall, the price I paid for the food and the amount of food I got was worth it. I'm always happy to support a local business, too.

Highly recommend if you are craving some quick, delicious Chinese food! Very cute, quaint atmosphere inside. Excellent food for a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful customer service. Ordered eggs rolls, sweet and sour chicken with white rice, and house special fried rice with shrimp, chicken, and beef.

This is what you expect when you come to a fast food Chinese restaurant. Simple food, reasonable price, and decent taste. The restaurant itself is really rundown with very minimal seating. Services decent, and you can get your food pretty quick. Taste wise, it’s really average. I’ve had much better, fast food, Chinese food, but also much worse. My one complaint is that their fried rice and their noodles mostly just salty rather than having other nice flavors in it. I will give them credit because I asked for it to be spicy, and they gave a delicious chili oil on the side.

I have been a patron here for over 20 years. I recently placed an order for sesame chicken for delivery. When I saved some for leftovers for lunch the next day, and reheated them, I found a fingernail in my food. Because I have been a dedicated customer, i called them to speak to a manager to let them know the time and date of order and how it arrived even with delivery. The bag was stapled and nothing had been tampered with. I was never able to reach a manager nor did I receive a call after I left my number by the 4th attempt calling to speak to a manager. I even emailed them through their website to let them know. It has been over a month and to this day have not gotten a response to my phone calls or email. I am very sad that no one returned my call or responded to my email and I have made the hard decision to not order from them again. Make sure you check your food before you eat it.

Was in the area and was really hungry and honestly I did not pay any mind to the reviews due to my hunger. That was the worst mistake I ever made in my life. If you have ever traveled to other states and have had a pupu platter before, you would know. I had the saddest excuse of a platter. It was bland, dry and pork tasted extremely off. By far the worst chinese food I have ever had in my life. I do not understand the decent reviews on here at all. Maybe those reviews have clearly never eaten anywhere else. The mixed veggies was pure water and just veggies. It was like they just steamed the vegetables and added water. I would not recommend this place at all. I will include a picture of the saddest pupu platter in the world lol.

I wanted to find a Chinese "restaurant" with table service and Google took me here. It's a small dining area and a very gracious host. They also offer carry-out service, as was occurring during our meal. The host was attentive and our wait was short. The portion sizes were huge. I ordered the Orange chicken (which was surprisingly very red when delivered). Great taste, mild spice. Chicken was crispy with a soft center. Same for the Sweet n Sour chicken we ordered - only it came with one sweet sauce, which was not enough to cover all the chicken. These two dishes were more than enough for the two of us. Fair prices and lots of dishes to choose from, including Thai. There's a kid menu, but the two dishes were enough to share.

First time customer, ordered online for pick up. Very good food! I ordered all Thai - green curry, drunken noodles, and garlic stir fry. Rice was a little dry and stale, but otherwise very pleased with price, portion, and taste!

Acacia serves authentic north eastern Chinese cuisine. Having sampled dishes from China and NYC, the food served here comparably authentic. I enjoyed the appetizers including the cold noodles and the tripe in chili oil. For entrees I enjoyed the lamb and cilantro and eggplant with salted fish. If you’re looking for authentic northeastern Chinese cuisine, I would recommend dining at this restaurant. The popcorn chicken is child-friendly dish.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Raleigh. They offer a great mix of American Chinese classics like orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken, as well as authentic dishes you’d find at a sit-down dinner in China. The cozy atmosphere makes it ideal for a family dinner. We got the orange chicken, eggplant with basil, Spicy pork short ribs, hot tea and rice; the bill came out to be $70. Highly recommend!

Was looking for ribs and duck, read the reviews and this seemed like a good place to go to. We drove 25 mins each way. Friendly staff, got our order, went home 25 mins. I ate the roast pork lion which looked like chicken? I think I had food poisoning. My husband had the crispy duck and he was fine. I'm upset I spent $38 on food that I threw away. I only ate a little bit and threw the rest away. So question.... if this is the best yall had..where are you eating at? 😆 I live in Raleigh so I'll stick to the pop ups there ✌️

First time & probably last. Not worth the rush or traffic to take almost 40 min to go and come back when my job is only 2 miles away. Location is hard to get in and out during fish traffic. The menu prices are high. It was nice they called to tell me it would be 2$ extra for "extra egg." They put 1 fried egg on top of my side (pint) of fried rice. The fried rice did not have any egg, onion, peas, or carrots in it all. So they gave me plain fried rice under the 1 fried egg I paid for. Bland no flavor. The rice looked like it already had soy sauce on it because it was that color, and not what fried rice usually looks like. They did not even include any soy or duck, nor did they ask. Why was the rice so dark for PLAIN fried rice. The fried dumplings were just okay, but half of them were steamed and grocery store size. I could not imagine paying 16$ for an entree at this quality. Food really wasn't good. Not worth $13.

It’s our wedding anniversary and my husband surprise me with upscale white table cloth lunch date at G-58, it’s quiet afternoon but I love the atmosphere, the place is bright and the decor is beautiful, Gabe our server taking care us and help us to my inquiry regards to the dish I wanted to try which is highly appreciated. My Mango mocktail was refreshing, we oder appetizer like spring roll duck and pan seared dumpling both cooked perfectly, our main dish is citrus chicken and twice cooked pork they both suits to our taste. If you like some sweet but not too sweet chicken and tenderly flavored pork. A dessert comes with candle which surprise me it’s pretty and good.

We went here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! Travis was our server and he made our experience great! He offered great insight on the dishes and helped us pick out amazing items for our dinner. We had the calamari, garlic fish dish, and a few delicious desserts. It was such a great meal and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. Loved having a delicious pot of tea with our meal as well. You can’t go wrong here! We will be back with friends.

Tried Peng's for the first time and I will absolutely be going back to slowly eat my way through almost everything on the menu. Everything we ordered was wonderful, especially the Mapo tofu which was one of the best renditions of the dish that I've had. Additionally, our awesome waitress remembered us from 9 years previous from a visit to Golden Palace on Capital Blvd (where she and the chef at Peng's worked at the time).

We had the pleasure of dining in! We tried the crab rangoons and egg rolls, as well as the general tsao chicken and broccoli & beef! The appetizers were a little cooler in the middle but still really yummy! Crispy shells with great fillings! The meals were the star of the show! Fried rice pretty good but the chicken and beef were so flavorful and moist, and tasted amazing!! The sweetest couple running everything do a fantastic job, as does the chef!

was someone hired or management change just last year? i ordered their pepper steak and onion then & it was great. i came in today ordering the same thing. Wheres the pepper? Wheres the spice? Flavor gone! "beef" was questionable. Seeing the declining reviews shouldve been my red flag but you live and learn.

Up until this month this place was the best. They had fresh delicious sesame chicken and shrimp and broccoli and excellent dumplings. The last two times I ordered the sesame chicken has been spongy, overcooked, and clearly old and had been reheated several times. The sauce that used to be thick has been watery and barely warm. Super disappointed Probably won’t be ordering from them for a while.

This is a Chinese restaurant that is next to a Food Lion, I think there is some correlation to the quality of food and the proximity of a Food Lion. It was pretty good food, descent size portions and the price was pretty good too. The area is a little sketchy at times but it is worth it to try this place. Very straight forward, no frills take out Chinese food. Give it a try.

Three stars for the egg roll. Four stars for the price. Five stars for the amount of food. One star for the taste. It was just really bland, the rice and sesame chicken. Hardly no sauce on the chicken and the little bit that was at the bottom still was not good. The rice, flavorless, except for the onions in it. I'm so use to flavor. Taste of China disappointed me too! So if you know of any great inexpensive Chinese restaurants in Raleigh please comment. Thanks!
