The food was just typical Chinese buffet fare with a Mongolian grill and some sushi since it simply meets my expectations for a buffet. The inside was nothing special and the food wasn't that special either. Overall, it's not worth the drive if you're outside the area and not planning to go to Blue Springs in the first place, but if you're in the area, then give this buffet a try.

Decent buffet. We went to a $20 all you can eat and it was good. I enjoy the wide selection, but my favorite is the sushi section. If you eat a lot of sushi, then the buffet is totally worth it. Food isn’t too bad but definitely gotta eat a lot of sushi!

After reading the reviews my expectations weren't very high. With few options at 9pm and a big appetite, we decided to give it a try. With no hello just can what would you like to order it went down hill from there. First mistake ordering a classic Thai dish at a Chinese restaurant 😕. Where's the vegetables? Flavor? If I had to say 1 good thing it would be. The amount of food was good. But when it does taste great well....good luck, i will not be going to the Panda King ever again.

I love this place. Since 2010, I've been coming here. Good memories and affordable food. Owners are very kind hearted. One time I was walking home and a stranger tried to lure me into their car. It was a bit scary and so I ran into their store. They were so nice and sat with me. Told the guy to leave me alone and even offered to take me home. These are very kind people and I respect them. Food is good. I love the lomein and fried rice. Crab Rangoons. Yummmmyyy. You have my support.

Excellent service. Food is always fresh hot 🔥 my favorite general tyso and orange chicken. Broccoli sweet savory

Always good. We eat here a few times a month on the weekends. Vegetable fried rice, extra egg, crab rangoons is my go to order. Always hot and fresh. My only gripe would be they can be stingy on the sauce packets, even when you ask for extra.

Good fresh food. Best kung Bao chicken I ever tasted from a Chinese restaurant here in the Kansas city metro area, great portions too. The orange chicken is really good with real oranges peels. Will for sure come back again!

First time at this Chinese spot; didn't even know about them. Very casual to-go place with a very good menu selection. We ordered 3 different dishes with rice and shared; all of them. We had the Seafood delight, Triple delight with garlic sauce and a spicy chicken dish - dishes we like in general. The food was made promptly with fresh ingredients. The owners were courteous and helpful . It's a small clean space that is primarily take out business (they had a steady stream of customers but the wait was minimal. They serve everything 'to go' but they do have seating for about 8-12. They provide paper plates and plastic utensils if you wish to eat it there which we decided to do. It was a nice, cozy, rustic and enjoyable early dinner. My friends suggested the place because they eat here often and I understand why and now that I know how good their food is, I'll be exploring more of their offerings.

Husband and I randomly chose to eat here. To our suprise their food has been some of the best tasting foe this style of cuisine. ( our suprise because we did no reviews just randomly chose this stop based on our location at that time) the men working here were polite, quick to serve, attentive, our food was done incredibly fast and it tasted great. The proportions were incredibly filling. Very happy with our random choice! I ordered the Kung poa trio and it was the shining star! I would ordered that, fried rice and crab ragoon again for sure. I'm not a curry fan (no matter.how it's prepared lol not a dis on this establishment) however the items were cooked to the correct textures and not over or under cooked. Would be back again.

Red Wok is falling off, fast. Placed an order for General Chicken, sauce on side. The chicken is now frozen chicken nuggets like you’d get at Costco or something. Absolutely terrible. Didn’t notice until I got back home and packed the order. Called to confirm this was supposed to be what I got (because it looks like it’s for kids) and he confirmed they switched to this. Terrible decision.

Perhaps the best sushi at a Chinese buffet I have ever had! Thick-cut tuna and salmon nigiri and tasty rolls. All other selections were phenomenal. And the price was amazing: $12 per person.

I am from out of town and was visiting my daughter and her family. They often go to the Asian Buffet. I wish this restaurant was located where I live. I absolutely enjoyed it. Our party of five (including two children) was seated almost immediately. There is plenty of room in this restaurant, lots of tables. The tables aren't pushed so close together that you feel crowded though. The servers came to the table quickly to take our drink orders and they were delivered quickly. This is a buffet style restaurant. There are numerous stations of so many different kinds of foods. Of course, many of them are Asian cuisine, but there are some "American" foods there as well. All of the cold foods are cold and all of the hot foods are steaming hot. The array of selections is so vast that you are sure to find plenty to satisfy your taste buds. There are simply cooked dishes as well as spicy options. There are clean plates and silverware. They have salads, fruits, entrees, side dishes, a chef to prepare specific dishes, and desserts. The servers came to the table often to replenish drinks or remove used plates. Foods are replenished often on the buffet; there never seemed to be anything that was sitting around too long or that appeared "old". The restaurant was very clean, the food stations were well maintained and very clean. This is definitely a kid-friendly restaurant. But I do want to remind everyone that young children should not be going to the buffet by themselves. We escorted the children in our party to the buffet and they were able to see the foods well enough to be able to tell us what to choose for them. The restaurant is not noisy; there is just the usual background chatter of people enjoying a delicious meal. I will definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

Good food, good service. We ordered beef fried rice which was delicious and sweet & sour chicken which is a basic dish but it was above average. The crab rangoons were decent but not incredible. Spring rolls were amazing. Egg rolls tasted a little funny. Overall a good meal and we'd definitely order from here again.

was okay, took dinner home, still very hot when we got home, which is a plus. everything we got was suppose to be spicybut not spicy. food did taste good but don't put a pepper beside a dish that says "denotes spicy when there was very very little. Orange beef had actual orange peel. crabrangoo filling was great, but not much. The wantons were super thick an over powered the filling.Rice was good. Hunan shrimp was good but tons of green pepper. seemed like i ordered pepper shrimp. Fortune cookie was good. I will try again.

Was craving fried rice and glad I came to Hunan Garden! It was a classic Midwest Chinese restaurant experience! Living in California we have lots of Chinese food options but it lacks the same comfort we get here in KC. The service was very fast and attentive. The food quality is high! Def prefer from here for either takeout at home or enjoy a peaceful meal in their cozy dining room.

After coming from from the zoo we wanted to try a new place. It was small but friendly. Clean tables and attentive friendly staff. For the smaller size the establishment had more patrons inside than I expected. Others came and picked up orders. I enjoyed the different beer selections. Had to try all 3 for science :). For the meals they were quick to serve and filling. To make it better I'd suggest some pictures on the menu or a better description of what all comes w the items. We ordered extra rice not knowing it came w rice lol. BUT I love the rice so I had more to eat at home ♡.

Can't describe how pleased I am to have tried this place for the first time, definitely a new local favorite. Not only the portions are worth every penny, but the taste is incredible. Wife had sesame chicken, her words "tender/fresh flavorful and has a smooth kick, not overbearing and gross like other places". And I had the chicken with garlic, cause I love spicy with a rich flavor, entirely on point, totally satisfied. Not to mention, just the rice alone is a treat. If all you want is a full belly, not break the bank, and smile like Joey after stealing his dates cake, give them a try.

Friendly staff and the woman that handed me our order saw that my baby had spit up and quickly offered napkins. So thoughtful =). Food was excellent and texture was fantastic! We ordered the orange chicken, streamed dumplings (sauce that came with it was great), crab rangoon, egg rolls. All were wonderful. Sweet and sour sauce delicious as well. There were plants, pictures and tv to look at as well. Amazed at the quality and flavors.

I have never left a review! And feel I need to to give anyone interested in eating here a notification that you'd be better eating at a gas station! Horrible atmosphere, horrible service, horrible food! Just a little food in each tray at the buffet, and not fresh. Not sure if the owner is the same owner from years ago, but exactly the same. I gave $1.10 for a tip, and I got looked at like I spit in her face. Not sure how it gets any good reviews, or how it's still open. Haven't been here since previous owner, and it was convenient to go today because I was in a hurry. I say it again, honestly, I don't see how it could get a decent review.

I actually live in KC and this restaurant is amazing! The owners are so nice and the food hits different. (For the losers who are leaving fake reviews, I am saddened and embarrassed by your pathetic false reviews.) These owners are human too and they deserve to have happiness just like we do. Have kindness and compassion in your heart like Jesus did. To the trolls who have no job, leaving fake reviews on good businesses for “fun”, and are happy with ruining people’s livelihood, God is watching and you will get your karma, don’t worry about that part. Have the day you deserve (the Lord knows!)

I came cross while getting lost on Minnesota and 13th street. Chuckle The warm and welcoming ambiance of this casual restaurant Tao Tao instantly put me on ease that it will be fantastic place to have casual dinner. The food was great and customer service was excellent.

Absolutely wonderful local Chinese place. I grew up in Springfield and I've never found anywhere that could do cashew chicken like the restaurants did where I grew up, but Tao Tao will now be my home away from home. Chef Annie and her friends and family make you feel so loved and welcome as soon as you walk in, and then they make you a hearty serving of some delicious food. I came for the Springfield style cashew chicken, but now I've gotta come back to try everything else! Highly recommend!

We had not been to Bolings in a few years. The atmosphere & decor was nice. The service needs work. We had to ask twice for plates for our appetizers. Waiting again for an additional tea cup. The chicken for the lettuce wraps was extremely salty. The bill was $80 for two people at lunch. Probably won’t return unless something changes.

Let me preface by saying I am Chinese and grew up eating really great Chinese food in California. So I really really wanted Bo lings to be good and I had high hopes 🤞 because I’ve had their dim sum before and it was pretty good. So we came to try their normal dinner and it was a little disappointing to me because there was definitely an American flare to it. The shu mai didn’t taste authentic. The honey walnut shrimp and chicken wasn’t the best either. Chicken was dry. Flavor was good though. The beef chow fun was great, I do like that one. And all the dumplings were decent as well 🥟. I think just the overall taste was not as authentic as I hoped for. But if you are an American and can’t tell the difference, I think this place would be great! 👍 The food did take a bit to come out also but that’s ok!
