Hunan Garden
Great place to eat! Accidentally discovered this restaurant . No regrets. I was lucky to catch Sunday buffet time. Only for $11, featuring consistent quality, hot food and a variety of dishes. Wow! Very nice and friendly people, clean environment. I will recommend to everyone.
WOW! This place is awesome! Food is excellent! Such nice & friendly people! Clean restaurant, clean food! There’s definitely a reason as to why they’ve won so many awards! ~My husband drives a semi across the states & we were parked across at Pilot truck stop,so we just happened along this restaurant & holy wow! Happy happy:)
Bo Lings
Do not waste your money or calories here; it’s disgusting. The egg rolls were refried and drenched in oil. The dumplings were a mess—half-cooked and poorly prepared. The best place for this is the trash.
Friendly staff. Quick with orders and always making sure we were doing okay. Food was really good! Crab Rangoon were my FAVE by far 🤤
Rainbow Restaurant
Found this place completely on accident but it was wonderful 😊 the lo mein noodles were fantastic, quality chicken for the sweet and sour chicken and the beef was tender too! Crispy spring rolls were delicious and the staff was friendly and kind. Plus, the price for a buffet for 2 people was literally only $22! You cannot beat that price 😏
The buffet was hot and fresh. Great selection. Loved the batter on the fried shrimp and the chicken for the sweet & sour. Cash chicken, spicy shrimp, lo mein were all yummy! The staff very friendly and attentive
China Wok
My husband and I have ordered China Wok at least once a month for the past 4 years. So thankful we can always count on a delicious fast meal when we don’t feel like cooking. We usually get the beef lo mein, chicken fried rice, wonton soup, crab rangoon, egg drop soup, orange chicken, egg rolls, chicken sizzling rice soup, general TSO’s chicken, and fried dumplings. We either call in our order or sit down and dine and both normally take 15-20 minutes. Never a miss with this restaurant for us!
Love this place, wanted to share some photos that show my experience. I get the combination Lo Mein with egg drop soup and egg roll. So delicious. Always satisfied.
Chopstix Chinese Cuisine & Sushi
What a gem of a little place! The host was most generous and gracious with our questions. Everything we ordered came out quickly and boy oh boy, it was DELICIOUS! The Korean Pork was glorious. We will definitely be making the 1 hour trip to visit again!
This review wasn't intended, but they worked for it. Jalapeno chicken was surprisingly lacking in flavor because it was low on jalapenos. Avocado in the sushi had spots like it had been sitting. Price was also high compared with 6 pieces. Unimpressive, but not bad. Then I got a text out of nowhere. I had placed my order online and supplied my contact info as usual. The order was handled entirely through email. However apparently they, and only they, decided to pester me about coming back. I specifically declined the 'receive promotional offers' option at checkout. Do not recommend letting them have your contact information.
China Star
Dared to try second time. First time I was ignored lady up front playing on phone, guy walks in well after me got 5 star treatment. Only one guy cooking she could been helping instead of phone. Second time charged for hot oil! Never in my life been charged for hot oil or sweet and sour. Had bit of an attitude for declining pay for sauce then started speaking Asian I know it was about me to the cook. The low mein was horrible way overcooked expensive noodles pork tasted old I also ordered general tso went straight trash I didn't try feed it to my dog. China feast downtown is hands down best Chinese just bit of a drive. I will drive next craving I have but after today it be long while. The website has nerve keep throwing add a tip !! Don't bother with this place keep it moving unless you have poor taste then give it a good review like all the other no taste riss Lakers. As you were
One word: WOW. These guys should change their name to China FIVE Stars. Took a chance on this quant hole in the wall just a few minutes from home, and I’m so thankful I did. Lunch special was just under $10 for a bowl of Roast Pork with Broccoli and Fried Rice, with a side of Egg Drop Soup. Food was out to me in less than five minutes. The pork had a nice tender texture and was cooked to perfection, the broccoli was fresh, the fried rice was a joy, and the SAUCE… my GOD. Pure bliss. Egg drop soup had me a bit skeptical with its uncharacteristically white color, but it too proved absolutely scrumptious, and it also lacked the high saltiness of other Chinese restaurants I’ve visited in the area. What an absolutely wondrous experience. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you, China Star!
Iron Wok Chinese Restaurant
The egg drop soup was funny looking really orange in color but it was pretty tasty. The fried rice was okay nothing special. The fried dumplings were ok, but the sauce was just bland with no spice or real flavor. I got the Cashew Chicken with Brown sauce and it's nothing like Springfield cashew chicken as I hoped but it was not bad in and of itself.
Very accommodating and delicious food. We ordered online for pickup this time but have eaten here many times. Asked for two alterations to one of our orders in the comments of the order, and they were both fulfilled. We always eat here when we want Asian food because it is delicious, and we know we will have more than enough leftover for lunch the next day.
Lucky Wok & Grill
Good amount of delicious food! We found our new favorite place to eat! And it was affordable too!
This place has new owner. And it has excellent Cantonese style Chinese food. Compared to other places that we went, the portion is huge, delicious and worth your money. We left with a full tummy. We went in on a Sunday evening for dinner, all the stores in the area closed except for this restaurant, so it was quiet. There was 7 people in our group, we ordered several dishes and they all came out very quick. The dishes were delicious and big portion. Service was good, we didn’t have to wait long. The inside has been remodeled and look nice.
Hy-Vee Chinese
Good food, Service is really good, The atmosphere is good also.
Rice House
I stopped by for lunch today. I ordered the orange chicken, crab Rangoon, and hot and sour soup. Hubby ordered honey chicken, crab Rangoon, and hot and sour soup. Also, I got an order of Mongolian beef to take try and also take home. The service was perfect. They were quick with bringing the soup out. The food was made fresh and was so good. It came out nice and hot. The chicken was breaded perfectly and nice and crispy but soft at the same time. The soup and crab Rangoon were yummy. The Mongolian beef was also delicious. The meat was flavorful and tender. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef to be able to take to work for a couple of days this week for lunch. The prices are so reasonable too. This is my husband's favorite Chinese restaurant in the metro, and it is always consistent.
The Chinese lady was extremely rude. Wouldn't let me examine the food that was prepared. When I got home I opened to see what 5 of us ordered and the amount of food that I paid for for 5 people to eat was EXTREMELY disappointing. You would think if I pay 63 bucks for an order per person you'd get a decent amount of food. You don't. I've been to other Chinese restaurants and they gave us way more than what we paid for. extremely disappointing service and the lack of food per person is really disappointing, the food also lacked taste. Would never recommend this place.
China Wok
Best Chinese food in Harrisonville for me. Nice staff, clean restaurant for the most part, food has flavor and is served hot in large portions, free hot and cold tea. For me the sauce was a little too much sauce on my general chicken but that is better than not enough. I'd go back.
My wife and I had a less than stellar experience. We were craving Chinese so we ordered and she went to pick it up. Upon, getting home to indulge on our Friday night treat, we found the Tso chicken to be so over cooked it was crunchy throughout like there wasn’t even chicken inside the breading and the rice was hard like it wasn’t cooked. Where this use to be our favorite spot in town for Chinese it is quickly loosing my vote.
Chang's Wok
Excellent. Always FRESH and HOT. I enjoy placing my order and watching the WOK-MASTER prepare it behind the counter eight feet back at his WOK-STATION. A great option for carry-out here on this side of Olathe.
Second time to Changs Wok and I couldn't be happier! Tonite I ordered the Mongolian beef and subbed rice for lo mein. So FREAKING good! The beef and mushrooms were delicious. The beef, super tender, very nice protein to veggie ratio. The lo mein was a perfect substitute but if you love rice go for it. I imagine it's just as good. Also added a side of crab rangoon and pork egg rolls. Both were fresh, hot and delicious. I forgot to add a side of spicy mustard and cup of sweet and sour. Tried to purchase some when I picked up my order, but the sweet lady who helped me threw in an extra sweet and sour and a little cup of hot mustard. Thank you! Can't wait to try some other items.
