Panda Chinese Restaurant
My coworker found this restaurant online as we were debating what to have for lunch. We gave it a try even though it was kind of far from our office. It has been our go to ever since. The steamed dumplings are so good. I have to get them every time we order. Prices are very reasonable. The sesame chicken lunch special was so good. Highly recommend.
My family has been getting take-out from Panda for years now. The food is consistently excellent, reasonably priced, generously portioned, and always ready by the time I arrive to pick it up. Highly recommended!
Hsu's Hunan Yu
Awesome food! I had the beef and scallops hunan house special !! It was amazing ! Their brown sauce is delicious 😋
I had to take pics it was so horrible. The wontons are legit all crusty no meat. As for the chicken u get 4wingettes (2 drums and 2 flats) for almost $9 a rip off. Then when I called whoever answered the phone just didn’t care about my complaints mind u I ordered off Grubhub. Never again smh $23 for nothing
Peking Cook
Great food and service. The atmosphere is a diner atmosphere...a little "hole-in-the-wall" place to eat. But I would put Johnny's food up to any big-scale Chinese food restaurant. I've eaten there for years, and I love the buffet. They also do phone orders and carry-out. Great for a night-in meal.
We usually do not do reviews, like ever. Thought this one needed it. Heard a few people refer this place, then we read the reviews. Very first time we had this Chinese. Wow, It was not a good experience for us. I called to place a pickup order and after everything I said to order all the person said was OK, it was a simple order. Few fried rice and sesame chicken. Person would say OK after each item I said and then when I said that should be all, they said Ok again and hung up on me. Did not ask for a name, number, did not tell me a price, nothing just hung up. I just chalked it up as they was busy. So we get there a little while later to pick up food. We get the bag in the truck to go home and it did not even smell good. I even said the smell of this is making my stomach turn. I chose the bag and says maybe it's just me and my smell is off or something. We get home and start dishing out the rice. It didn't look fried at all, almost white rice with onion, little slices of chicken, peas, and carrots. I took the first bite and I said never again. My husband opened his chicken and it does not look like sesame seed chicken we have ever had. It was like mush balls clumped together with a stale brown sauce over it, didn't look normal at all. I wouldn't even try it just from the look, and I always share the chicken with my husband. We have several children and I didn't say anything. I only poured a little bit in my bowl and barely gagged it down. Some of the rice w as mushy and some was still hard a little, very bland plain taste, not good at all. I still didn't say anything. My husband started picking through the chicken and he said idk what this is, but it is not sesame seed chicken. It's very mushy balls of something and almost slimey inside. He took a few bites and said I can't do it. I said neither can I, I couldn't finish the little bit of rice I had , I almost threw up. Not one of the kids would eat it either. All of their bowls was left full and only 1 or 2 bites out of them. My husband goes the other Chinese place we go to we never have left overs hardly and there was still 1.5 boxes left if rice and every bowl was full. We threw the entire order in the trash. We are not spiteful people, we never leave reviews because we wouldn't want the same for our business. But this was so bad it couldn't be left without one. Hands down it was the worst Chinese food we have ever had in our life. We could not even eat it and threw it all away. Waste of $46 . The taste, smell, ordering, nothing about this was a good experience for us. We have eaten a lot of different Chinese places and it was the worst one by far. We have never had to throw away almost $50 worth of food and not been able to eat it. We do not know if the people leaving all of these reviews have never eaten any other Chinese or left that county , we have no idea where the good reviews are coming from our how anyone could thing they are even edible. Sorry we had to leave this review but we had to let people know this is the worst Chinese food we have ever had. We will never return nor refer. We will go else where and spend the little extra money for edible rice. We wish you luck.
HOKKAIDO Chinese & Japanese Restaurant
I came in tonight for a quick dinner. Got the beef and broccoli. I must say this is simply the best take out I've had in a very, very long time. I am super pleased with my meal and the kindness that welcomed me when I walked into the restaurant.
This place is truly a hidden gem🙌 I got the spicy California roll and man it was the best sushi I ever had. I literally came back for seconds 10/10 recomend
New Grand Buffet
rude waiters, got out to our car and were ALL immediately sick. cross-contaminated glasses, extremely overpriced and made us pay more than we should've. girlfriend and friend's girlfriend threw up. do not come here unless you enjoy being treated like garbage and getting food poisoning. demanded a refund and they only gave us half the money back.
The food was good. I liked the soups. Everything looked clean.
Joy Luck Chinese Restaurant
The food is really good and the portions are a great size. We got sesame chicken, sweet n sour chicken, chicken chop suey, fried and white rice, chow mein and egg drop soup. It’s not too salty or overly sweet. Each dish was well prepared and great flavor. The staff is very nice and friendly!
I visit Lynden frequently, but this is the first time I've eaten at this restaurant. It will not be the last! Me and my family were there just after they'd opened on a Wednesday morning, and were the only people at a table the whole time we were there. What is wrong with you, Lynden? This place is fantastic! It is clean and nice inside, the waitstaff is friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! I am (the only one in my family who is) a vegetarian, and I was happy to find several vegetarian items on the menu, including the dish I ordered --- Kung Pao Tofu --- which is one of three fried tofu dishes on offer. The secret to fried tofu is, it has to start life as "extra firm". I've had it in restaurants that use something softer, and it is awful. Joy Luck knows how it's done. Their version is excellent. For what it is worth, the other people with me both had cashew chicken (one with rice, one with noodles) and both reported their meals to be excellent as well. Anyway, I can highly recommend Joy Luck Chinese! Try it. I will certainly be by at least once from now on, every time I'm in town.
Kowloon Inn
We were getting drinks at Fridge Brewery and my daughter wanted some white rice before the food trucks opened. We sent her to Kowloon and she came back with a $15 dollar box of rice. Unbelievable! Overpriced white rice. Not fried, no meat or veggies. Just white rice. Same thing would cost $5-$7 anywhere. Very disappointed. 😔
Horrible take out dinner! Three different kinds of deep fried shrimp, chicken & something else I don’t recognize. One chicken dish had a sauce & the rest of meal was rice & mixed vegetables but all very dry & no soy sauce or anything else. Won’t go back there ever!
Asian Bistro Restaurant
Mongolian beef lunch special. Pretty good. Fresh veggies tender meat good amount of sauce. Rice is ok but kinda dry. Egg drop soup was really good. Not bad for $13 ish. Pictured is after a few bites.
We ordered Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken and Singapore Rice Noodles with hot tea. The overall wok hei was palatable and pleasant. The meat wasn't stringy tough but it wasn't overly tender either. There were a lot of onions in the Mongolian Beef but there was a lot of beef too. The flavor of Orange was delightful as with the Singapore Rice noodles. Just remember to stay away from the fortune cookies, mine was so stale I ended up spitting back out.
China Palace Restaurant
STAY AWAY 🤢. THE Crab Rangoon was so HARD it cut my upper mouth i had to pull edges off. Orange & General Tsao chicken was like Microwaved chicken nuggets with sauce poured over them ...the WORST CHINESE FOOD I've ever Had.
This was our first time going here and everything was phenomenal! The server was extremely kind throughout the experience. All our food was fresh, meat was tender, and very flavorful. The atmosphere was quite relaxing and everything was spotless. Definitely the best chinese restaurant we've been to since our favorite closed down over a decade ago. Highly recommend trying if you haven't already.
Tendy's Garden
RUN, do not walk, to Tendy's! OMG, what an experience. American style Chinese food is my absolute favorite cuisine. I grew up eating it in NYC. After living in Florida for a long time, and recently Seattle; I haven't been able to find anything comparable until I found Tendy's. The chicken and broccoli was so fresh with lots of flavor. The hot and sour soup was perfect, and the sweet and sour pork had the perfect crunch to it. Even the fortune cookies were incredible. I'm coming back to Port Angeles just for this place!
I came with my family. 4yr, 2 yr, baby and husband. The food was fine and I had no problem eating it. But I felt so uncomfortable being there! My kids are VERY well behave and we make sure they are not loud, and leave no mess… but we felt soooo unwelcome despite being one of the only people there. While waiting for food my son had taken out three sugar packets to put in the back of his hot wheels truck. An older lady walked over and took the three sugars out and put them back in the dish and walked away. It was looks and things like that the whole meal. I would not be willing to come back!
Fresh Wok
We just got in to town from a very long drive and we're looking for good Chinese food. After reading Google reviews we decided on fresh wok. We were not disappointed ,😃😄😄😄 Not only was the food delicious and the portions huge but the service was excellent and the waitresses were all very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The restaurant was nicely decorated clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back again on our next trip from Vancouver Island. Thank you so much for ending our long road trip on such a positive note!! We are so glad we chose fresh wok!!!
My Daughter and I thought we would try them out for a Lunch time Feast. We got Fried Rice, Almond Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Chow Mein. It came with a Couple Egg Roll's, and BBQ Pork. These are some Pictures after we loaded our plates. Good Portions, Good Food, Great Service... I'll Go Back
Asian Buffet
Very nice! Not sure what all the one star reviews are, but seeing as they were long ago, don't listen to them. This was a very good restaurant and I would recommend it to everyone. It has so many food options and all of them are great!
Great buffet located in Port Angeles, Washington. Not the largest buffet known to the buffet world, but it’s a good one. They do a pretty good job on their sushi section. They have nice treats in the hot cases and soups. All to be followed up by a good variety of desserts. Now as far as buffets go, it is a buffet. If you keep that in mind you won’t be disappointed.
