Food is great... But most of the time the ratio of the entree is not proportion. Vegetable is 70% Meat is 30% only when combined. Should be the other way around. Great example is Beef Brocolli, Pepper Steak. You cannot find the protein. It's like you are always paying for the veggies. Great propotion should start with the preparation of each entree. The serving is depends on how generous the server is. Should have standard serving.

We were looking to get some good quick Chinese take out. We hit a homerun with Hunan Garden. We ordered way too much food but oh well. We get some good leftovers for the next day or so. The customers service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered beef fried, chicken with broccoli, chicken with soft noodles, shrimp with lobster sauce, and egg rolls. We would definitely go back to this place again.

Absolutely cluttered and mismanaged. I asked for water and this lady goes into a deep freezer with bare hands and puts ice in a greasy grey cup. No sanitary conditions whatsoever.The lady at the front demanded that I leave a tip after competing the transaction and nearly made it a requirement. Afterwards she commented that this wasn’t Mexico and that I’m not back in my country to be acting like a immigrant. She then proceeded to change my amount on a receipt I had already signed. I’m notifying my bank and I am never recommending this place to anybody ever. One of the worst lunch experiences I’ve ever had.

Great hidden Chinese food gem located in the behind the library on Channel Islands University campus. Authentic, fast, good prices, and tasty. I would consider the portions to be somewhat family style. Each plate could feed two people. Be sure to specify if your meal comes with rice. Boba and smoothies are refreshing and not too sweet. My faves are the wontons with chili oil and garlic noodles with pork and veg.

I did not expect to find authentic, chewy Chinese noodles in this apartment plaza - probably the best in a 30-miles radius. The girl who took my order was nice, and the owner/chef was very accommodating (I spoke Chinese with her). Location is strange, but it's a simple setting with delicious food and good prices.

I stopped by Happy Bowl Express on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome, and the place had a great vibe. The food? Next level. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell the management really cares about the customer experience and takes pride in what they serve. It’s rare to find a spot that hits on both quality and service like this. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is a hidden gem! It was a little tricky to find at first because of the nearby construction, but once I found it, there was plenty of parking and it was totally worth it. The staff was super polite and greeted me right away—service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Now the food… absolutely incredible. Hands down the best Asian food I’ve had in Camarillo. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I’m so glad I gave this place a try—definitely coming back and bringing friends with me!

The best hot & sour soup. It has a lot of meat, tofu veggies. My husband said the best chinese food he had. It' s not salty. Meat are soft. The roasted duck is amazing, my husband' favorite .

I have dined in on several visits at Sesame Garden in 2024 and "Walked In" to Dine In on Saturday January 4, 2025. On each visit I was ignored/not acknowledged by the "Only Employee" who was the Server (possibly owner or family member) on each occasion. She would Not acknowledge my presence or come to my table to take my order, while assisting other customers. I did voice my displeasure out loud while sitting patiently to have my order taken while dining there on different occasions. Other issues, If I didn't order a drink, she became irritated. If I asked for additional "Sweet & Sour Sauce", she would become irritated. If I asked for extra napkins, she would become irritated. She catered to those speaking her native language which I presume made her most confortable. I patronized the restaurant because I enjoyed eating their food. Unfortunately the service was mediocre so I will venture out for other "Chinese Restaurants" in Camarillo who can make "Spicy/Hot" Chinese food which is hard to find in Camarillo.

This is a 5-Star review for Shirly, who is obviously a relatively new employee to this location. Shirly was working very quickly and was very friendly with all of the customers. This is also a 1-star review for Matthew, who appeared to be managing the line at the time I bought lunch today. Matthew, you will learn with time that managing requires leadership, and while you were trying to get things done and I saw that, you were also pretty rude and pushy with Shirly. Please consider that new employees might need support and encouragement rather than belittling. It looks like you might be good at being a manager some day, but remember, treating people well matters, as does productivity and efficiency. Overall, this location is very efficient and the staff are usually pretty nice and friendly.

If I was able to not put a star I would, I came to this location and the assistant manager Aileen was super rude and un professional. As I approached to order she said “This all we have for the night” which I saw what I wanted so didnt pay much attention. She was obviously not having it cause she was mad people were coming in to buy food! As we got our food I asked a nice gentlemen who was cleaning If me and my family were able to sit and eat inside, he said yes! We sat and Aileen yelled saying “We close @ 9 pm inside” she was basically kicking us out🤦🏼‍♀️ I have gone to the Moorpark location and they have an excellent service! Not coming back here again

At The Panda by the outlets store 816 is the best Panda I have ever visited. Mauricio is the manager and the restaurant is always super clean and the food is always fresh. It is a pleasure to eat at this establishment. The portions are always generous, hot and fresh!

While I consistently provide five-star ratings and appreciate Panda Express, I was disappointed to receive a to-go order containing burnt teriyaki chicken. The oversight in quality control during packaging is unacceptable. I am extremely dissatisfied with this location and the manager's handling of this situation.

I can’t say enough how rude the workers were even the manger. I stood there for 10 minutes waiting to order while the manger was doing an online order and talking shit with the other worker about other customers. While I waited 10 minutes the line was all the way back to the play structure and she was only doing online orders everytime they came in. Once she finally took my order they only had an option of orange chicken and shrimp. Said it was a 30 minute wait for everything else because it all went to the online orders. Never going there again

With the increasingly less and less options to at at the Pacific View Mall, Panda Express is always a good consistent option. You are rarely surprised here. Workers are decent and fast. Food is hot and ready usually. Line moves fast which is great for short lunch breaks. I know many complain about the authenticity of this food but it’s great American Asian cuisine and decent prices. Fried rice, orange chicken, cream cheese ragoons, can’t go wrong with what you pick usually.

The food at Panda Express was awesome! I especially loved the teriyaki chicken — it was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The General Tso’s chicken had just the right amount of spice, and my whole family couldn’t get enough of the Beijing Beef. Every dish was tasty and cooked perfectly. The place was clean and well-organized, and the staff worked quickly to keep the line moving. We were happy with everything we ordered and will definitely be coming back for more!

Food is great and the staff are helpful and nice. Steph the manager is always checking to make sure your good and asks if there is anything they can improve on.

I've lost count of how many plates we've had. We love the sashimi, shrimp, kimchi was great. Love the classics pepsi cups they use here too! Reminds me of childhood. So happy we have a buffet in town!! Great place 👍🏼

I usually never rate places this low, but unfortunately this had become one of them. I had really high hopes for this restaurant especially because we do need more Chinese places in ventura, but when we arrived we paid $78 for 3 people, 2 seniors one child. as we began to browse it was somewhat limited to how many items there were, the food was luke warm and over cooked with little to no flavor, the orange chicken was very soggy and swimming in the orange sauce. overall I just hope they actually taste what they’re serving and maybe will decide to change some things. especially given the fact they just recently became open. overall not a terrible experience but i just wish it felt like they put more effort into the food regardless if it’s “buffet” style.

Food is great!! This is my third time coming here and this has been the only disappointing visit. Asked for half orange chicken and half teriyaki chicken. I open my bowl to only count 5 pieces of teriyaki chicken. Young lady with freckles NEEDS to be trained on how to serve proper portions, almost seemed like she counted one by one as she was placing the chicken.

The atmosphere service is good as well as the food but just notice the chicken is a little stiff and hard always everything else good
