They were super nice and brought me hot tea right away while I was still viewing the menu. It was rainy so I really appreciated that All the food was absolutely delicious and fresh and came out so fast! I did arrive at 12pm so there was basically nobody else at the time. They also brought me ice water. Highly recommend, will definitely be frequenting this place more!!! Edit: they also boxed up my leftovers for me and were again super communicative!

Hello there family. If you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant that has some good food I encourage you to check out Punjab. This food is really good. If you stop by and let them know that Pastor Dre sent you.

So here we are again, trying a new place in a neighborhood which I haven't spent much time in. Somehow the evening called for Chinese food and we decided to give Eric a try. One thing is for sure. Eric has left the building or an apprentice with the same name took over the cooking. Let's start from the beginning. Eric's can make a name for itself for the fastest fast food restaurant, even McDonald's could learn from Eric's. We sat down, we place the order of three dishes and they all arrived in under 2 min. Ouch, that was the first warning sign, the 2nd warning sign , they all looked the same. The 3rd warning sign, they all tasted the same. Dear chef, you don't need to dislike your craft that much. The beef was already dead. No need to drown it XO Sauce a 2nd time around. Same goes for the egg plant, please cherish this beautiful vegetable, don't take your frustrations out on it. 5000 years of Chinese cuisine and that's what you came up with? Just take a fork and stab me, it would be less painful. Yes the interior is pretty nice.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, and was really impressed with the food! It came out super fast, the service was nice, and the atmosphere is chill. We ordered three dishes: Eric’s Spicy Eggplant, General Tso’s chicken & Snow Peas Moo Goo chicken. They were all great dishes and will absolutely be ordering them again. Don’t skip Eric’s spicy eggplant!

If you're looking for dim sum and Chinese food this is definitely the place! The menu is absolutely extensive and I think you will be hard-pressed to find this large a menu anywhere in the city! I often times use it twice a week for dinner and the takeout is quick and efficient not to mention tasty! It truly is an extensive menu!

Most of the typical dim sum dishes are pretty good and meet the quality standard, but I wouldn't waste space on the Xiao long bao - almost no soup inside them and the skin is too doughy/thick. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate groups without too much wait time. Also ample parking is nice.

Super super * Salty* Was feel so hungry before I came. When I eat a bite, OMG. I better back to Bay Area any Chinese restaurant, (any) also better than this restaurant.

I’ve only ever ordered takeout and I can say it’s the best beef fried rice I’ve had recently. Not greasy and very flavorful. The won ton soup was good but left more to be desired, however I ate it side by side with the rice and it was pure flavor perfection! This place is fried rice heaven and they’re always very nice and helpful during pickup/checkout

Went in on a Saturday night! Partner and I got the orange chicken over rice and the green bean and chicken over rice. Food was piping, hot and fresh. not overly salted as well. There are indoor tables for seating.

I visited E & J with high hopes of trying their pan-fried noodles, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, when I called to place my order, the worker on the phone seemed impatient and unfriendly, clearly annoyed by my questions. Despite this, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and proceeded with my order. Upon picking up my food and returning home, I eagerly dug into the pan-fried noodles, only to be met with sheer disappointment. The noodles had a watery consistency that was far from appetizing, and the taste was completely bland and unremarkable. Overall, I regret spending my money here and would strongly discourage anyone else from doing the same. E & J failed to meet even the most basic expectations, and I will certainly not be returning. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a better dining experience.

Been coming here for 20 years, cheap and delicious down home chui chow food. You are not paying for service here so don’t expect a smile and this is the very best definition of a hole in the wall restaurant. Everything is sticky, the floor, the table, the menu, the bathroom and even the waitress. Also you’ll never ever have to wait for a table. Order the 5 course meal for $24, (it used to be $20) the flavors are great.

1) crazy affordable prices. I genuinely can’t find a place in SF that still sells entrees in the 6-8$ range. 2) really good food 3) don’t expect amazing dine in service or the place to be beautifully decorated/clean. This is the purest definition of amazing hole in the wall Chinese food and if you know what you are in for than I deplore you to try this place. Ignore 1 star reviews that comment about communication issues or order issues, but if friendly service is imperative to you than I would recommend you look elsewhere.

HD Chinese Yunnan Rice Noodles is a go-to spot for comforting bowls of noodles! 🍜 Their tomato beef noodle soup is a standout—rich, flavorful broth, fresh veggies 🥬🍅, and tender, high-quality beef 🥩 make every bite satisfying. If you're craving authentic Yunnan flavors, this is the place to be! 🌟

We went there for a late lunch and there were a lot of empty tables. We both ordered the Original Beef Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles, Garlic Cucumber, Iced Ribena and Thai Milk Tea. The rice noodles were pretty good, but the broth was okay. These rice noodles offered a lot of small dishes that you could add to yourself. I just put all the small dishes into the rice noodles. The garlic cucumber didn’t taste good. Overall, I would say the rice noodles were good, but the broth and other ingredients were just fine.

Mom and pop place with some good comfort foods Hot N sour soup - Very good flavor. Dumplings - good Wasabi cold noodles- great flavor Eggplants- yummy but greasy Tan tan noodles - very good Service is slow. Maybe because of CNY eve. Our food took awhile to come out. The lady at the counter did apologize and said they are busy with too many to go orders. We also ordered beers but it never came. We asked the waiter and the lady at the counter multiple times. They acknowledged but forgot as soon as they walked away from our table. It took about 5 friendly reminders before we got to enjoy our beers. The complimentary sesame dumplings desserts were surprisingly good.

TLDR: solid food at slightly higher prices, decor needs a bit fixing up We got our sweet and sour pork rice plate to go and the total came out to $15.40 which is a bit expensive. They included a sweet and sour soup which was nice. The pork was crispy and the sauce a bit sweet but good. Weirdly I wanted more rice as there was sufficient meat and veg. The interior needs some work with very dirty carpets but there were a bunch of flowers around which brightened it up a bit

Food is decent for a hefty price. Service is bland. One of the Asian women saw me and ignored me when I needed a tea refill. Luckily for me, another lady assisted me with the tea. UPDATE: 2-20-2025 Service is better and food is still decent. Beware of silly 25 cents surcharge for take out container if you don't finish your food. What a scam?

My go to restaurant when I feel like eating Hong Kong style food. I should be more adventurous but I always stick to my usual. My husband always order his oxtail over rice and me my chicken a la king over rice or baked pork chip with tomato sauce. Their portions are huge even when you order Togo’s. The food is good although sometimes depending on the cook, it’s a bit salty for me. The chicken a la king. Make sure you bring cash. It’s a cash only establishment. But would I go back? Yes. Definitely. Being go there when they had a bakery next door and they would give us 2 or 4 little sweet buns before our food came. They don’t serve that anymore. That’s how long ago I have been coming to this cafe.

I’ve dined in a couple of time and recently did take-out a lot. My friends and I are big fans of this place! We’ve tried their sweet and sour chicken, the black bean chicken, sesame chicken, shanghai style pork strips rice cake, honey walnut shrimp, string beans, Beijing style pork strips, pan-fried chive and pork dumplings and more. I love their sesame chicken - crispy, savory and sweet umami goodness! Never had a problem with getting seats or parking. They have a take-out special of 3 items for about $50, soup and white rice included! Super worth it. Check it out!!

Tasty food. Large portions for reasonable prices. Easier street parking (parking meters before 6pm) than most restaurant districts in the city.

@dimsumclub_sf is where the party’s at because they serve authentic dim sum all day! The menu is huge and has all the classics, in addition to it being delicious and afffordable! The portions are big enough to share and being around $5-$9 each. It’s definitely worth checking out! They don’t speak much English though so best to order from the paper menu!

Absolutely delicious vegan Chinese food. High quality ingredients and really flavorful. I also love the old vibe of the place, a nostalgia for what San Francisco used to be. The couple working here is very humble, generous and kind. It’s truly a neighborhood gem.

No thrills local spot we always come to for our family dinners. Solid food, decently cheap prices and almost always has seats available! Only negative is they charge you more for paying with credit card!
