China Super Buffet
If you like rancid, tasteless, cold food, this is your spot. This place used to be just OK but now it’s really really bad. Don’t waste your money. There’s plenty good restaurants in SD. This isn’t even an option anymore.
Lunch 14.99$ All you can eat. Lots of choices. Salty to me. No salad bar. Head lettuce pulled apart, beets,( tasted like rust). No fresh fruit. All canned. 3 different soups. Lots of seating. Food was refreshed often I was there for 2 hours jus enjoying the ambience. Reminded me when stationed in Korea.
Panda Express
Do not go here. They have four people walking around doing a one person job when they could be helping someone checkout. It takes four people to take the trash out or clean a table. And they just stand around on their phones. And the vibe sucks. To the workers who work there don't worry life gets better.
Came in an hour and a half before closing and the employees complained amongst each other as if I could not hear. I have worked in food and I understand coming in 30 mins till close or 5 minutes till close but a full 1.5 hours?! At least speak where I’m not in ears reach??? Having an attitude because you have to do your job is mind boggling to me.
Panda Express
Panda Express is reasonably priced for the portion of food. Although as a YELP Elite the price was a non-factor. I ordered the walnut shrimp with super greens and the beef broccoli with fried rice. Of course the meal could not be complete without the three-piece cream cheese wontons. So essentially two bowls and wontons for $2.50 I can dig YELP Elite. This was the very first time that I received more than four shrimp and it was greatly appreciated. I hope this trend continues. Each of the meals were piping hot because it was crowded when I arrived between 5-6:30. In fact the line was outside the door. There were plenty of servers, taking orders and managing their quick service without waiting long. I was so hungry, I devoured my food in the car. I could have eaten at the outdoor patio but that was full. Inside seating was tight and I like to eat while watching Judge Mathis. Google maps was off. Panda Express is in the same shopping center of Smart & Final and Target. High quality indicators-Liked Food was served piping hot High quality customer service Excellent YELP Elite perks Ample parking Outdoor shaded patio Self-serve refills Meh Indoor dining is doable but tight I would be on the edge to say a wheelchair may not comfortably navigate inside Not liked One toilet-boo Yes, I would recommend Your fortune will read: Prosperity and unexpected favor will soon knock on your door
I'm not one for Chinese food in general, but I do enjoy entres. A friend of mine went for lunch, and I opted for a more vegetarian meal. I enjoyed fried rice and noodles, green veggies, beyond meat that looked like chicken (whatever sauce they put on this was amazing), veggie spring rolls, and some kind of fried wonton stuffed with cream cheese (the absolute bomb!! 💣 😋 ) She also opted for a mixed combo meal.
Panda Express
Food was not good, too salty, the rice wasnt cooked yet, I tasted it like raw rice. I talked to them but they didnt even care. I am not coming back here again and do not recommend this place to anyone.
I watched this dude Cregy help an elderly woman. He was SUPER patient and smiled the whole time! This guy is a perfect example of a good person!
Panda Express
usually i like this place, semi decent service and food is pretty consistent, but today i ordered a plate and the server only gave me one of my entrees. didnt bother asking if i intended to get only one entree. when i went back, since they left it off the receipt, they charged me 5 dollars for the small side. absolutely unbelievable
This place has always been the master at trickery. The server calls the shots, not you (customer). They tell you what you want. Moving the fresher from the top OVER to get to the mushy bottom is a joke. They have drama conversations with the rest of the staff while serving you (that’s fine but when you’re not paying attention bc of that it puts the customer [me] in a really poor position). The steamed rice, that we didn’t even ask for and the server insisted we have as one of our “third” items was dry and pathetic. This place is why I go once a year and looks like I’ll wait until next year to go back. So sad bc Panda X is the only place like this so they know you won’t go somewhere else.
Panda Country Restaurant
This place is absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I have ate there 2 times dine in and around 4 times take out. The food is always fresh and the portions are very large. The service is fast, wait times typically low (we’ve been during there less busy days). I definitely recommend this place.
That is a great place you got 10 times the amount of Food Van Panda Express. Plus this is more authentic. I love the fact that they have why are the selection.
Panpan wok
Got the type A combo to try it out. Very generous portion sizes of everything. The orange chicken had a lot of flavor and not all bread like other places. The fried rice was good. I wish the noodles had more flavor. Would def try it again.
We got 2 combo plates (B) and i single (A) and man they load up the food! We got chow mein and rice as sides and beef & broccoli 🥦 Coconut 🥥 Shrimp 🍤 and Orange 🍊 Chicken 🐔. Honestly, it's enough food to split. I got an extra plate, which I probably didn't need. We took a lot home. The chow main was delicious, but the rice was pretty bland. The main dishes were good too. The service was fine. The place itself isn't much for atmosphere or decoration, it's pretty plain. Also to note, a few doors down there is an over 18 only pub or bar, and lots of guys were standing outside smoking.
Emerald Chinese Cuisine
The food here is good. However, the staff is very rude. They do not want you to have fun or be in a good mood. Me and my friend were having a drink and laughing and they suddenly cut us off because they thought we were drunk. I guess you can not laugh anymore or else you’re a drunk. The rest of the Casino is great and has great service however stay away from this place unless you order to go.
I've had a couple of dishes here and the food is good compared to the other food they have at the food court. That's probably why it's so popular. On busy days there is usually a line for take out and dine-in . The staff is always so nice and attentive.
Panda Express
Employees were nice but stingy with the serving. Also I got the remnants apparently of the honey walnut shrimp. I paid $21 for a cub meal and a bowl with barely any shrimp and the shrimp they did give me was falling apart and tasted OLD. Do better, yall.
This place use to be good but in the past month it has been horrible! Half empty containers... this food is way too expensive... my food weighed less than a pound 15.6 oz this was for rice/chowmein orange chicken and broccoli beef for about $12 insane. I will not be coming back for at least 6 months if this hasn't changed than I will completely stop eating here. This was horrible
Panda Express
Popcorn orange chicken. They should call it, they gave me two servings of nothing but tiny pieces with no chicken, I got sick after eating here because it was all sauce and breading, and oil, no chicken… where did the chicken go?????
After seeing the reviews I still thought I give them a try because I was in the mood for Panda Express and everyone deserves a second chance… I notice the food wasn’t fresh nor hot being open only a hour. They greeted me with a low voice. This place had no other sides but orange chicken and kung pao this Panda Express is in a bad and sketchy area and sucks it needs to be under new management and everyone needs to be retrained!!!
Emerald Express
Do not eat here! The orange chicken was pure oil and some of it was not even cooked all the way. For $10 you get a handful of veggies half a cup of meat and a big ball of white rice. Oh and my wife's mushroom chicken came with all mushroom and exactly 3 pieces of chicken. Will never come here again. Last point not to come, once the errors had been pointed out we received attitude and condescending remarks in Mandarin... to bad I know a little.
The food was awful. The Kung Pao Chicken was coated in this caked on substance and incredibly salty; the peanuts were burned and the sauce stuck to the roof of my mouth like goo. The “steamed vegetables” were literally raw and the whole meal was unpleasant. Spare yourself the heartburn.
Panda express
Our first time here. The food is fantastic. everyone is super nice and have a warm welcome. As well as they are very patient with us when we ordered. I will recommend this panda to other people. Great customer service. I will be coming back for seconds. God bless and see you soon👏
Worst experience ever, telling me to wait for Kung Pao chicken for 5 mins, and they cook other 3 dishes instead when no other people are waiting. I ends up waiting for 40 mins instead. And no apology, nothing. Whoever the manager is please address this issue. There’s obviously communication problems between the cashier and cooks. Staff are lack of training, cashier don’t know how to deal with customers and cooks don’t care when customers is complaining. I used to work for panda and this kind of service used to be unacceptable at all! How can management bear with this kind of service? Do something about it!
