Rolling Wok
This place is so unhygienic! My friend bought three dishes here and threw them all away! Found long hairs in them. Disgusting🤢Will never eat here again!
I've been passing by for awhile wanting to try. Upon closer look I saw they have a "C" rating. Inside on the C rating sign was a tiny roach. I was grossed out so we will be passing on this location. It gives off unsanitary /dirty vibes. Two things that should not be associated with food. I gave two stars as we never tried the food which was a shame because it looked delicious. They should focus on cleanliness and sanitation especially in today's era.
Sunny Dumpling House
I am very disappointed with the taste. 7 Baozi and 1 bag of huajuan, all cost $26, which I won’t consider it cheap. Also The size of is small. Now I can live with the size if the taste is good, but the taste is just so bad. The sauerkraut pork one I can’t taste the sourness in it at all. It is very mediocre to the point it is not worth the price. I won’t return to this store again.
The food was good, but the service was extremely poor. As a Chinese person, I have to admit that some Chinese stores offer very poor service. I politely and kindly asked if they could help me separate my order into two different boxes. The lady responded that she could provide extra boxes but could not help put the food into them. I explained that I was taking the food to my friend immediately and asked again if she could assist. She replied that they usually don’t do that because of the number of customers, even though there were hardly any people there (it was just us). She added that I should feel lucky she even provided extra boxes. What a ridiculous level of service
XG Restaurant
So far from downtown but you can't find a better bun place in LA. Still have almost 20 buns in my freezer.
Called in to pre order as there are their signature buns are usually not available for walk-ins. Visited the day after and ame out to be they didn't prepare the order because they failed to record my order. Very unprofessional.
Red Chili Hunan Restaurant
I had dinner here last week with some friends after a coworker recommended it. Overall, the food was fantastic — I especially loved all the spicy options on the menu. If you're a fan of spicy food, this place is a must-try. I had seen some reviews mentioning issues with the service and was a bit concerned, but our experience was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and no one made us feel pressured about tipping. We had a great time and would definitely come back!
We had a great experience at Red Chilli Hunan Restaurant! The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming — I really appreciated her warm and attentive service. Our group ordered the Shredded Pork with Dried Tofu, sauteed cabage, the Red Chilli House Special and etc — all were delicious and packed with flavor. The atmosphere feels like a cozy local spot, but the owner mentioned they also have private rooms available for parties if you call ahead to reserve. I also love how they asked about our preferred spice level — very flexible and accommodating. Overall, the food was beyond expectations. Will definitely be coming back!
Food To Go
Decent Dim Sum to go. I come by every so often when I'm craving it. Prices have gone up. When asking for chili crisp oil they don't have any..very disappointing.
This is one of the most solid places to get dim sum on the go but if you arrive anytime after 3 PM on a weekday there is a high probability that there could be something that you’re looking for that is sold out already. The video on this is based on coming here on a Wednesday at 9:30 AM. As you could see it is not busy at all and the hot food is not even out yet due to it being so early. If you arrive too late and ask for something that’s not available there is a potential that some of the clerks will speak to you and it might seem like they’re yelling at you that there is “No More” 😳😂😳😂😳😂 so if you are not used to clerks yelling at you welcome to traditional Chinese dim sum establishment 😳😂😳😂😳😂. This place will get a much lower rating if it was based on service but the quality of the food in my opinion is very solid and tasty. So get here early and avoid the madness, especially on the weekends. Prices are even higher on weekends so it is highly recommended to do your shopping on a weekday if possible and really early on the weekend if you want to not deal with lots of people.
Meet Here
Stew House
You can order the spicy level and enjoy the dish. Everything we had were pretty authentic. Hot tea is available but not free like most Chinese restaurants. Service was not bad. Digital menu only.
Not recommended. Being a native from Hunan, I am very disappointed by the taste, the selection and authenticity of this place. Super super salty. Do you think I am fisherman? The chef is not from Hunan by the way. Probably explained why.
Dongbei Hometown Restaurant
Good Dongbei food. It’s my first time in life to eat 锅包肉, and I love it. It’s a good treat after a 5-hour hiking. We have 6 persons and $30 per person.
Delicious Chinese northeast food style. Recommend “fried pork in scoop and specialty steamed bums”
Tasty BBQ 好味道
Beef chow fun so good…. Also hard to get buy 4 get 1 free good meals nowadays.
So this place replaced the location for breadfish, and I heard of the name before. They have very similar menu items but a lot more variety. I got a chance to try their crispy chicken over rice. The chicken was really good wish it was just a little bit more crispy but since I had it ToGo it might be a factor of moisture. The tofu and the egg is really good here with marinated in Taiwanese spices. Overall the food is exactly what I expected and it more than enough for one person. Would definitely recommend trying!
Roe Deer Food Service Inc
To Michelle Rodriguez-Perez If the assistance you need is regarding this food truck, we have seen this truck before. However, we need to confirm whether the food truck in your video is the same one we’ve seen. If you can provide a video or photo, and we can confirm it’s the same truck, we’ll be able to tell you their business location.
i don't know how to get ahold of someone at this business so i decided to go this way. I need the owner of this company to message me back because a few months back someone driving your food truck backed out of a driveway in El Monte,Ca and hit my daughters parked car. Damaging her brand new headlight and her bumper. They did not even bother to stop, they just left. I have pictures and a video from the business it was backing out of. A police report was made but obviously nothing had been done.
Yi Mei Deli
I used to come to this place often during my college days. When I returned recently with my mom, we were treated with utter disrespect by a lady who seemed absolutely unhappy to be serving there. For example, not only was I ignored when I asked her to heat up my sticky rice lotus leaf wrap, but when my elderly mother lost a lid and requested a new one, this lady gave her a lecture instead of simply providing it. Yi Mei may dominate the local market for soy milk, and their clientele may keep coming regardless of the poor treatment, but this was by far the worst, most unpleasant dining experience I’ve had in over thirty years of dining in the area.
It’s a very much dead place with no music but extremely loud machine whining noise. The ladies who run the business believe they’re gifted in humor and would seize any opportunity to joke about something costing money and needing to charge customers extra. I get it that they’re bored af and just trying to make some past-time but the jokes got old right when they told them for the second time, not to say third or fourth. It really wasn’t a funny experience for anyone but they don’t seem to realize that.
