Fujiyama (West Allis)
Tonight was my first experience dining at this establishment, and I must say I was extremely pleased! Great food and service, my two younger children enjoyed themselves as well! I definitely will be returning in the near future!
Upon entering, you are greeted warmly and accomodated in a beautiful restaurant. I saw many customers that staff know by name. They have a gorgeous fish tank to entertain you, and a sweet woman I didnt get her name was educating me and showing me some of her favorite in the tank. And the food….I got takeout and paid for a Tofu Teryaki and a sweet potato roll and imagine my surprise getting 5 containers of food. $26 for a ginormous box of delish tofu teryaki, miso soup, rice, house salad, and Sweet potato roll. An absolute treasure and a bang for your buck. Unfortunately, I am from miami and dont have this place there because it would be my favorite spot.
Tanpopo Ramen & Sushi Restaurant
Got food to go which could explain experience. Ramen was sub-par. I would compare it with some of our favorite asain market ramen we get but at 4x the price and with absent flavor/seasoning. It was nice that they had the broth and ramen in different containters. I will say the chicken egg rolls were so good! Service was great pointing me in the right direction for online pickup. Restaurant was vibrant from what I saw during pickup. Unfortunately will probably try else where. 😕
Friendly staff, decent priced menu foods, clean restaurant, yummy food my entire family has all good things to say . What more could you want
Waha Buffet
Place is huge! There are 6 food stations plus hibachi grill and noodle bowl station all included in the buffet price. Came for lunch adults were 13.95 kids 6-10 is 7.95 and kids 3-5 is 5.95. They have a good selection of sushi and it is top notch. They have a lot of deserts to choose from and finger type foods. Everything was delicious and done to perfection. We came here because we were in the area. I wish we had something like this closer to us! I definitely recommend trying it if you plan on being in the area.
Now called Waha buffet. Biggest buffet in the area. Includes sushi, hibachi grill, noodles, plus the usual Chinese entrees. Small cups of ice cream in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, and other little cakes for dessert. Fruit, salad bar. Something for every taste, including pizza for the kids.
The Hale House
First time having cheese curds like this and they were great. I ordered the Caribbean salad and added shrimp. Others ordered burgers. We left with a piece of banana bread cheesecake. The cheesecake part was perfect! Everyone was happy with their food and our service. Looking forward to trying more of the menu, it was a tough decision with so many good options.
Hidden gym of Hales Corners. I hate how much I love this place! My goal for the past year has been to try everything on the menu. But every time I visit they have a new amazing special that is only available for a week, then it's gone forever, so i have to try it! The food is always fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The crabcake BLT and the Garden burger are just two menu items I tried that are unlike anything you can get anywhere in the area. Seriously, try the food here and you'll be hooked. The only problem with this place is the major FOMO you'll get if you miss a weekly special.
Phở Cali
Vermicelli with Beef and egg roll. This was super good and tasty. Ordered via DoorDash and it came with so much flavor. The dipping sauce for the egg-roll was really good with a spicy kick. I would definitely order again or dine in!
We paid about 25% less than the more expensive Pho restaurant down the street, we got more food and have been back 5 times already because it’s better, and cheaper and the quality is very consistent. The pictures are of the food we got AFTER we ate and were packing up to take our leftovers to go!
Clifford's Supper Club
Went to a New Years Party. The lighting and a live band made the atmosphere great. They had a buffet in the late evening that was ok, but had a surprisingly few options, which were average in taste.
We went to Clifford’s for their fish fry, and it did not disappoint. We went on a Wednesday evening and got seated right away. Our server was Ella who was extremely sweet. The fish was seasoned to absolute perfection. The fries and coleslaw were really good as well. We ordered a Gemba, a Southern Punch and a Holiday Cafe which were all extremely good. I never knewabout this place until now. I’m so glad this place exists. I will be back to eat again and again and again.
Wing's Carryout
Made our first order with Wings carryout today, and we were NOT disappointed!!!! Jonny was so welcoming and friendly, beyond my expectations. The food was steaming hot and massive portions! The interactions I had here today will stick with me, and we will definitely be back for more again. Thank you Wings carryout
Hi, I had ticket number 14… today. I ordered extra green onion and got no green onion And no egg.. I drove a long way for what I call the best chinese food in Milwaukee.. A few years back I broke a tooth on a staple that was on one of your old boxes (never complained, in support of small businesses) I do draw the line at eating PLAIN chinese rice… I could of just ate the asian fried rice where I live..🤦♀️ At least I would of gotten veges in the asian rice 😞😔😔 Idk anymore
Corner Bakery Cafe
I don't get here that often and usually for just a hot beverage and pastry, which is exactly what I did today. It was 9am on a wednesday morning, and they were only a little busy. The place is nicely laid out, plenty of places to sit, big windows with lots of natural light, and clean. The few other tables of people were having quiet conversations. The staff that took my order was super friendly. I could tell that they had some form autism (i'm not a doctor), and I only mention this because I think it's exciting to see business that make accommodations for all individuals on the spectrum. I ordered a hot Chai Latte and a Chocolate Croissant. They were both excellent. The chai was the right amount of concentrate, temperature, and had some nice foam. They warmed up the croissant (I asked for a plate). Everyone there seemed cheerful and pleasant. Would definitely stop in again for the same.
Service was great. Food was good, the tomato soup I got tasted like canned soup, and the bread didn’t taste fresh. I loved the sandwich though, the bacon was absolutely delicious! The salad wasn’t that good either, too mayonnaise-e for my taste. My husband got a chicken sandwich and he loved it.

Lotus Restaurant
Absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. We were a party of six. Took 45 min to bring our food out and all of our food was cold. The dish I got, general tso chicken was absolute crqp. The batter tasted old, the chicken tasted frozen, absolutely terrible. Will never eat here again.
In the middle of nowhere...look closely you will miss the sign...lies a gem of an authentic Chinese restaurant. Extensive menu spot in taste and presentation. Five stars without hesitation
San Dong Express
We live over 2 hours from Milwaukee. When we occasionally visit,San Dong is our go to dinning place.Food is always excellent, it's cool to see the cooks at work while ordering.I like to try a different dish, but usually order my favorite, twice cooked pork.We generally order a couple extra dinners,to take home with us.
Great Korean-Chinese fast food. No frills, kinda greasy. Super nice staff and very clean dining room. We had a great meal. Large portions!
Panda Hut Chinese Restaurant
Sigh… This is the first review I’ve ever written, but the food was so bad that I feel compelled to speak on my experience. My family and I were in the mood for authentic Chinese cuisine, and we chose this place through DoorDash because it was close to home. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. We ordered several different items, all of which (should’ve) had different flavors. The General Tso’s chicken was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before, and not in a good way. The chicken was extremely hard when it should have been tender after being simmered in the marinade. Every bite was tough, as if they had fried it until it was rock solid and then just dumped sauce over it right before pickup. The broccoli garnish with the rice was also undercooked and not tender at all, we could’ve dipped it in ranch and ate it as raw broccoli. Needless to say It just didn’t taste like General Tso’s chicken, nor did it have any spice like I’ve had from other restaurants. The sesame chicken was no better. It had the same hard texture as the General Tso’s chicken, with the only difference being the sesame seeds sprinkled on top- The sauce that was used on the General Tso’s chicken was the same sauce that was used for the sesame. The egg rolls tasted stale, as they are pre-rolled, sitting in a cooler for days before being fried to order (I seen this upon pickup) and we could tell immediately after we bit into them. The veggie fried rice was just as bad—hard, with undercooked, crunchy vegetables. Lastly, the boneless shredded rib bowl was nothing like what was advertised. It looked tender and well-sauced in the pictures, but what we received was dry, tough, and completely lacking sauce. This meal literally made my stomach hurt. My husband, who works third shift, took a few bites and ultimately decided to leave early so he could stop somewhere else for food on the way to work. We are beyond disappointed, and I will be disputing the charges with my bank. After reading other reviews, I see that this place is definitely hit or miss—I just wish I had read them before placing my order. The only plus about this experience is that the food was ready in a timely manner and the staff was friendly. I was wondering how such a big order was ready for pick-up in 20 minutes but we soon found out why.
I'm on a personal mission to find all the hole in the wall Chinese takeout near me in Milwaukee, and Panda Hut got the bill. Affordable, generous servings of food and quick amenable service. I'm not looking for style or fabulousness, but comfort food made to taste exceptional. I love their million options menu, my general Zhao's chicken combo with chicken fried rice and crab rangoons was incredible. I always try and save some leftovers for lunch the next day and with a whole bag of crab rangoons and complimentary egg roll, I was stuffed within a few minutes. Highly recommend for your next takeout fix.
