Hyderabad House Indian Restaurant
Tried the pottalam pulav, Hyderabad chicken biriyani, chicken lollipop, parotta paya combo and mango lassi. We enjoyed every bite and will keep coming to this place. Paya was so subtle and melted. Pulav was so flavourful.
We love the place for dosa and biryanis. The place is located inside an Indian supermarket. While waiting you can finish some shopping too as this place offers a lot of quality goods. The staff of Hyderabad House is very friendly and will make sure you enjoy your brkfst/lunch/dinner. The are very friendly kind staff. Every time we have had food here or taken home the food has always been to our expectations from a restaurant. Quality and quantity are both good. We live their malai koftas. And dal tadka with a lil more ghee with rice is out of the world. We have ordered food many times for many get-togethers at home from them and they have always delivered quality food.
Ginza Go
"This place has really stepped up its game since the new management and chef took over. The hot pepper chicken is so delicious, The sushi roll is especially amazing - it's right up my alley!"
This sushi dish is absolutely amazing! The flavors are perfectly balanced, and every bite melts in your mouth. It’s one of the best sushi dishes I’ve ever had—so fresh and delicious!
Panda Express
Kids bought dishes here. Everyone else bought at other restaurants in the mall. We had all finished by the time they returned. Daughter’s chicken was not cut up and was very fatty! Server was very nice apparently (kids wanted me to add that comment). Do not recommend
Terrible service supposed manager said I had to get rice when I told her I only wanted meat and then I told her I wanted the 3 meat meal but in a bowl. She proceeded to have the cashier charge me for a bowl and a 3 meat meal then when I told her to forget it because that's not what I wanted. She proceeded to say you don't know what it's like to work in food. Excuse me I'm a server and I've ran plenty of restaurants. So for her to just assume is total BS I'll never ever go back there.
Bawarchi Indian Cuisine - Columbus
Not sure why this place has a low rating. I have heard from others that they serve very good biryani. I don't like biryani and so this review is based on what we ordered. My wife and I ordered Gobi Karivepaku and Veg Kothu Parota. Gobi Karivepaku was very tasty and not very oily for a deep fried dish. I typically don't like Veg Kothu Parota as it is too oily but this place served a pretty decent one. That was also not very oily but it was soft/or on the mushier side. Service and ambience was pretty good, no complaints.
I have been regular at [Barwarchi- Columbus], usually the taste is satisfactory but my experience yesterday was terribly disappointing. On a scale 0.1 (0.1/10) out of 10! We are total 5 and 2 are vegetarian but the yesterday experience was awful and Regrettable!! There were no paneer or gobi options available, and the vegetarian selection was nearly nonexistent. Dosa is not well cooked well, it tastes still batter.Additionally, the non-vegetarian items were not satisfactory either. We ordered the green mirchi pulao, masala lollipop, but the rice was sticky and had an unpleasant smell the lollipop seems sweet by adding tamota ketchup and not cooked. Chicken the dum is at worst, the chicken is raw and we got flesh smell!! everything was far from the quality I have not expect this kind of food from your restaurant. We waste probably 130$ but the experience is tooooo worst!! We wasted each and every item can’t even take away the remaining items! If you are out just mention, we are out of veg(paneer, gobi). But nothing has been mentioned and every penny has been wasted at your restaurant!!! 130$ is not a small amount guys!!! Try to understand!!
Panda Express
Panda Express tastes great. The walnut shrimp is my favorite. The service was really kind that they did samples patiently before the quarantine. The service is sometimes slow and not friendly during lunch or dinner hours. Their app can order ahead and have some deals. The cleanliness in this store has been a problem that the tables are covered by oil and leftover rice.
I feel like this is one of the best Panda Express stations I have ever been to. The food here is always fresh and good like it was made from love. I always ende up finishing a plate.
Happy House Chinese Restaurant
I went there for a takeout. They gave me 2 wrong dishes out of 4. I ordered a general tso, they gave me a broccoli dish and ordered a garlic dish, but they gave me a rice curry, which was the worst thing I ever had in my entire life. I didn't find out until I was ready to eat my dinner 2 hours later. I wanted to give them a second chance after the rat infestation problem a few years back but didn't work. it was a complete waste of money. I won't go back there anymore. The food was mediocre, and the service was even worse
After three years of residing in the Bay Area, Happy House Chinese Restaurant is the greatest local chain restaurant I've discovered. My buddies have made this place a regular hangout since I brought them here! I would *VERY* suggest. A couple of the ones I've tried are Lamb & Scallions (5/5), spicy chicken appetizer!! (5/5),
China Buffet
I went there on a Tuesday at 11:30 for lunch and everything tasted really good. Most of the bad reviews seem to be later at night and I try to avoid every buffet right before their closing time for obvious reasons. Tins of food options. Tons of different chicken varieties! Stuffed mushrooms, fried biscuits and egg drop soup was amazing. Mussels and sweet n sour chicken I was not a fan of but everything else was tasty. I will be going back again. My lunch cost was $7.80 with a water. I imagine it gets more expensive as the day progresses.
Not sure if it is a Wednesday night or 90 minutes before closing time but the quality of the food left was below average. I gave them 2 stars because they did try to bring more fresh food out. However two new dishes they did bring out, the quality is okay. Hopefully it gets better during normal lunch and dinner time. I would strongly recommend looking at the option before you decide to sit down. I just flew in, hungry, tire and do not want to drive anywhere else.
Mark Pi's Express
I fell sad that the Mark Pi near main campus on high street is closed. This Mark Pi’s was a good restaurant close to west campus. The service was fast and there were several different kinds of vegetables in my Kung Pao Chicken. The egg roll tasted crispy and freshly fried with great sweet and sour sauce. But this food menu was totally American Chinese with sweet sauce and they used takeout containers for dining in orders. I hated the terrible sound that the foam box touched the table and my table was not stable. WiFi was not provided.
Now that I work in the area I’ve gone here 3 times. I still remember when they used to have locations everywhere. Maybe their quality slipped? But hey I’ve returned to it and I gotta say I enjoyed it. I only got take out. Dine in has no atmosphere or charm. But I think a bulk of their business is takeout.
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
I've been coming here since 2010. The Great Wall was my "go-to," consistent good food, fast, and a reasonable price. Not to mention they're portions are always "point." Oh, and don't forget their always delicious orange tea. This time, I ordered the Triple delight small egg drop, and of course a fresh made orange tea comes in pints only but worth it. $17 grand total
Had to order online since they only accept cash inside, but WOW their food is absolutely delicious. I got chicken with garlic sauce. Generous portions and it fills you up. Very affordable too. I will be back soon.
Panda Express
The Truthful Traveler says this restaurant has excellent food and good service (as usual). The men's restroom was in good shape. I give it a grade of B+ for cleanliness. Lots of food placed on top of the base. I'd suggest using the greens as opposed to the rice for the base because there's about a 400 calorie difference. If two people go, consider ordering the large food plate. There is enough food for two. One bowl appears to have more food than two bowls.
I came to this great Panda Express during dinner time. There were long lines both inside and drive-thru outside. They did a great job with efficient and fast service. My server was friendly and helpful. Their food tasted great with high quality. Walnuts shrimp, Kung Pao and sweet fire chicken with half noodle and half rice are always my favorites. The dining room was clean. WiFi was not available.
Wing's
It’s no wonder that Wing’s has been open for as long as I can remember (my whole lifetime, and yet I’ve never been). When you walk in, it’s like an American Chinese version of Cheers “where everyone knows your name”, except with typical red and gold Chinese decor 😅 It was obvious that they have regulars who frequent here (and they know each other’s names and families too!) Menu is typical favorite Chinese dishes. The Wor Su Gai was the best I’ve had in a long time; However, the first batch I had to return to the kitchen and ask for another because the batter was crispy, but the chicken was dry and overcooked. They apologized and replaced it promptly with a piping hot dish of much more tender inside-crispy outside chicken. Unimpressed with the Mongolian beef, so I did not take a picture. Extensive alcohol menu, especially scotch and whiskey, but we didn’t get any drinks from the bar. All in all, long-standing cozy Chinese restaurant good for dinner on an unusually rainy, soggy day in Columbus.
Wing’s never disappoints. From their eclectic design to phenomenal food, would wouldn’t you continue coming back? Hands down. The best spring rolls in Columbus. So many food options with many vegetarian options. Plus at a really good price! Cheers!
Koco Asian foods
People don't understand that even though it may be an ok-regular food for a hospital, if you give them a high review for hospital food it will go high everywhere else. I came here thinking it was an ok place, but they charged me 17 for fried rice which was not fried at all, and fried chicken which was soaked in oil. For me is a NO place, never coming back again. Please be mindful with your reviews.
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you need a hot meal at the hospital it's absolutely fine. Hot and fresh, and the vegetables in my meals were very nicely cooked.
