Top's China
Tops China's cuisine is quite delicious. The Crab Rangoon can be inconsistent in quality. Sometimes, it appears undercooked. However, today, it was crispy and enjoyable. The pepper steak was satisfying and flavorful. The lunch special offers a generous portion, including the main course and a choice of an egg roll, soup, or drink.
Very tasty and quick. Pretty much the quintessential American Chinese food experience. The soup was warm and filling, the dumplings had a nice dipping sauce, and the crab rangoons were plentiful. The online ordering system was easy to navigate, though you have to pay in store. The staff was very welcoming. We'll be back!
Panda Express
The quality of the food is generally satisfactory. However, the brown rice and lo mein taste bland. Also, quite often, there are dishes that are out, and you have to wait for more to come out. The overall customer service is adequate, although there was an instance where an employee was observed handling their phone and then proceeding to handle food, which is a matter of concern for me. It is imperative that all employees adhere to the practice of WEARING GLOVES while serving food. I am uncertain as to why the manager on duty is not ensuring compliance with this regulation to the employees.
Looks can be deceiving because the place looks and smells good. Food uncooked and tasteless. I had fried rice, I promise you the rice was not fully cooked. My mom had the chowmein...noodles not cooked. The black pepper chicken was hard to eat. I enjoyed the sesame chicken and walnut shrimp But no no no will not be back to this location.
Hunan Gourmet
Food was too salty, The sauce consistency is thick/slimly. They put too much cornstarch or something, it’s nasty. It’s very messy and they didn’t put one napkin in the bag. Half of the plate was vegetables that I picked out.
Asked if they delivered to St. Luke Apt. Answer: "Never deliver there". I see every pizza place, etc. delivering here. Now, when I go to food lion will "Never order there again".
King's Wok
If I could leave a 0 I would. The sweet and sour sauce has random specks in it. The chicken looks like it’s been cooked in months old oil and the actual SO CALLED CHICKEN is PINK AND STRINGY! I don’t even want to waste my time calling because I don’t want a thing from em but to be closed the HECK DOWN!!!
First time trying this place. The crab rangoon and egg rolls were excellent! The shrimp egg foo yung was great. The spare ribs were good, but could use additional sauce. The orange chicken was ok. The shrimp fried rice was very bland, containing only rice and onion. The teriyaki chicken was strange: the sauce was dried and crunchy, and the chicken was very stringy. It tasted ok, just very different from my perception of teriyaki chicken. The service was quick and the staff were courteous. Next time, we will try other dishes.
Hong Kong Kitchen Chinese Restaurant
This is my go-to Chinese place and I adore them. I’ve never had a bad experience and I order take out frequently. Everything is always really good. They are fast and affordable. I do recommend them and I honestly don’t understand any of the negative reviews.
I've always liked it here. This was the first time in a long time. Only because I lived in Florida for 10 years. The food was not as good as it once was. But it was still pretty good. I'd go again. Probably will soon. I did order the lunch general tso chicken platter. It did not come with an egg roll. I was surprised. Egg rolls are my fav. I was already driving away before I noticed. So I can't say what the quality is for them.
Ho Ho Restaurant
Went to pick up a Doordash order so can’t speak on the quality of the food. Order wasn’t very big at all 3 items including a drink. When I first get there I have to wait 10 minutes for service because the lady up front is in the back talking (yes I can hear you from up here). Took another 20 minutes just to get my order as people that would come in after me were actually getting their orders first. Lady was very rude and unprofessional. If the price matches the taste then the wait time is NOWHERE near worth it. Would not recommend.
The food is good but they move way to slow, once waited for a delivery for an hour and fifteen minutes and they are less than a mile away. Waited 30 minutes or more when placing an order for a lunch special in the restaurant. And the wife always snatches your card with wet hands when you go to pay 🤢.
Flying Dragon
I got chicken wings and I’ve been non stop throwing up and using the bathroom. Instant food poison. Beware
I love this place, the price is good, food is great and the customer service is excellent. Sometimes the kids are around when I go in to pick up my orders. They're great kids. They're so well behaved and cute. This is a working family and a community staple. Thank you guys. Your chicken wings are always PERFECT!
New Top's China Restaurant
Atmosphere isn't much. Most people waiting for to go orders. Space was clean. Front counter lady was abrupt, but not rude or mean as others had said. Ordered the General Tso's Chicken with fried rice and canned drink. There is way too much breading on the Chicken. The sauce is too sweet and gloopy. Fried rice was undercooked, and really not fried rice at all. Service was fast, as was the order. In and out in 10 minutes.
Pros: The food was good, big egg rolls, and affordable. Fast service when calling in to order Cons: The outside wasn't pleasant or welcoming , nor was the inside. I thought I was in the wrong place cluttered everywhere, not fit to dine in.
True Taste
Son and I wanted some chinese for dinner, but wanted to try a new place. We Googled chinese near me and we saw True Taste. Gave them a called asked it they delivered, which they do. I ordered, sweet n sour shrimp, appetizers for 2, egg rolls, General Taos chicken and upgraded 1 fried rice to a shrimp fried rice. Our normal place is always at least an 1hr to 1.25hrs, so I was very surprised when the doorbell rang in about 30mins. Opened everything up and was pleased with everything. 1st there sns shrimp is a little different, instead of a large shrimp, they were little individual ones, which I liked the sides. Was a little disappointed that there was no pineapple or cherry in the SNS sauce.. I thought the chicken wings were top notch in the appetizers. Nice and crispy with that little curry taste. The General Taos chicken was really tasty and had some nice broccoli on the side. Overall I was very happy with everything and my whole experience, maybe the guy answering the phone could have been a little chipper, but I might have a new Chinese place!
I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, however, I took a risk with True Taste and find myself frequenting this carry-out facility. Andrew is generally the one who assists me. He's pleasant and the service and food provided are consistently consistent. I generally get either the Mixed Vegetable Delight, or the Beef and Broccoli or just the appetizer, Teriyaki Beef. The food is always piping hot temperature-wise and very flavorful. True Taste gets 5 STARS from me in every category!!
Hunan Cafe
Really good, fresh and hot Chinese food. Not fancy, but great lunch!
I came 20 minutes prior to closing time. Since it was empty I should have left. However. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice & Egg Dop soup... and was given a cake for free. The chicken and rice was quite good. Egg drop soup was GLUE and I have been smearing it on my dog's food! And the free cake?? As you can see.... Thank God I decided to separate the squares after a very small bite of slimey, soft goo. I may give them another try in the daytime but suspect not. I'm a bit gun-shy!
Eastern Carryout
It has been a while and I should checked reviews. Garlic wings were dehydrated appearing, Egg foo yung gravy watery. What happened to the favor and quality of the food? Shoe string fries were size of child’s laces.
Food was fair. Asked for no broccoli but had broccoli. Sesame chicken was really dry. Egg rolls are good. Would not recommend overall though.
New Asian Panda
I've been to New Asian Panda a couple times. Their Vegetarian section with the mock meats is fantastic! This time I got the Mock Orange Chicken- really good! But the Mock Lemon Chicken has been the best. The Crab Rangoons and Fried Veggie Dumplings were really flavorful. Highly recommend. The General Tsos Shrimp was good flavor-wise but just a little too soggy. Didn't have that crispy exterior. Will be back! I wanna try the Mock Beef!
SO SAD. we have ordered quite a few times different dishes. This one. Tonight..Schewhan Beef. Had before..Hubster ordered Crispy Chicken Chow Mein.. As enjoying, the beef.. had a medium length hair in it. Almost got sick.. 😳😢
