China Express
Ordered late night local delivery. Came super hot, fresh, delicious. Great reasonable price for value, lots of meat and vegetables, they did not skimp. Tastes great, I would definitely make this my local Chinese takeout place!
Great to go Chinese food options. They are featured on uber eats but I recommend ordering via their website then do pick up to save some $. Service and food are always consistent
P.F. Chang's
This is hands down one of the best P.F. Chang’s locations I’ve visited! The restaurant is spacious, with beautifully designed old-school decor that creates a welcoming and classy atmosphere. One standout feature here is the generous portion sizes. The lettuce wraps, a classic favorite, are made with fresh romaine lettuce, which is a step above other locations that tend to use iceberg. The difference in quality is noticeable and much appreciated. Additionally, their happy hour (Monday through Friday, 4-7 PM) is a fantastic deal with amazing prices that make it easy to enjoy more of their menu without breaking the bank. Overall, this P.F. Chang’s sets the bar high and is a must-visit if you’re a fan of the chain. Definitely the best experience I’ve had at any of their locations!
Joseph was easily the kindest and most accommodating server/person I’ve ever dined with. He saw me struggling as a mom alone with two kids under 3 and was a savior. He was amazing. Coming back to his section.
Hot Peppercorn
We had our wedding banquet here and it was absolutely perfect. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was 10/10. If you’re looking for a restaurant to host your wedding with amazing tasty food, this is the perfect place. Ivan, the manager, is wonderful to work with!
I stopped here unexpectedly after leaving Trader Joe's next door. The service was great! The food was great! The portion size was great! I had the chicken hot pot. This picture is after eating a good portion. I will definitely have left overs for lunch tomorrow!!
Ugly Dumpling Express
I absolutely LOVED eating here! I just paid my first visit to this restaurant and instantly fell in love with the food and the atmosphere. There were kiosks to place our order which made it super easy, the food came out quickly, AND the service was great! I really loved the overall vibe of the restaurant and can’t stress enough how absolutely delicious the food was. We even got 4 free dessert bao buns for spending over $40, and they really were the cherry on top for our experience. Definitely coming back here!
I have been wanting to try soup dumplings so I came across this spot. The dumplings were delicious! I Also tried their orange chicken with white rice which was delicious as well. Garlicky and not too sweet. Adding the chili oil really took it over the edge for me. Only complaint is, with the dumping platter, you get 5 different dumplings but no indication which is which. I didn’t feel like bothering the cashier so I kinda tried to guess on my own. The only 2 that I was for sure certain on was the black one which I believe is the pork and truffle because of its earthy flavor and I love mushrooms. And the pink one which I think is the pork and shrimp one because that’s the only one with a seafood type flavor, other than that, everything else tasted the same. I will definitely be back very soon to have more soup dumplings and try more of their menu!
House of Dynasty
I’ve been coming to HoD for over 20 years — they still got it!! The rainbow thin rice noodles are delicious and so is the Szechuan green beans!
We checked on House of Dynasty online and it had good reviews. The prices were somewhat high but I thought that meant the food was good. Otherwise, they wouldn’t charge so much. We ordered carry out for pickup. When we got to the restaurant my husband went down to pick up the order. He got back to the car and was very excited. He said the smell of the food in the restaurant was good, it seemed busy inside even though it was around 3pm on a Sunday, and the staff was friendly. He was so happy he even brought a carry out menu for next time. Well, there will not be a next time from House of Dynasty. The chicken corn soup, which was enough for 1 person, looked a weird yellow color and the taste was off. I couldn’t taste chicken or corn. The rest of the food was okay, if I had gotten it from a buffet. It tasted and seemed not freshly made. The meal was definitely not worth the $90 it cost. They charge for the hot chili oil and if you want fried rice instead of white rice it is an additional $4.80. My stomach was not happy with the meal and I immediately threw out the carry out menu.
Great Wall Restaurant
I took a chance tonight & ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai & it was absolutely terrible. I was leery of ordering it and I wish I hadn’t. It doesn’t look or taste like how I’ve had. I should’ve known better. I also ordered the Chicken in Garlic sauce & it was also a miss. Next time I’ll stick to my typical fried rice & General Tso.
The Great Wall Restaurant left me thoroughly impressed with its incredible dishes, especially the Beef in Garlic Sauce and Sichuan Shrimp! The Beef in Garlic Sauce is bursting with rich, layered flavors – perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness and tanginess. The beef is tender, and the sauce is a delightful combination of aroma and taste that keeps you craving for more. The Sichuan Shrimp is equally amazing, with fresh, plump shrimp infused with the authentic, spicy, and savory flavors of Sichuan cuisine. Beyond the outstanding food, the owner truly stands out for their warmth and hospitality. Their thoughtful recommendations and genuine care for customers made the dining experience even more memorable. It’s clear they are passionate about every dish and deeply committed to making each guest feel at home. I highly recommend The Great Wall Restaurant – you’ll fall in love with the flavors and the welcoming atmosphere!
Hunan Manor
This has been our go to place for years. This afternoon was a bit disappointing but, I believe that is due to my forgetting that the General Tso's hadn't ever been that spicy at this location. Not a bad thing, however, the spicy is what I personally crave. I will say, this was our first time ordering online. The owner called me because my address was a 20 min drive away and she wanted to make sure I didn't place an order at the wrong place. I appreciated the care she put into her customers to actually ask that question. That alone would give this place 5 stars every time This afternoon we tried a number of new dishes in preparation for this review: Lobster lo mein: strong seafood scent and flavor. Wasn't terrible, but would fill a seafood craving: 7/10 Spicy Tangy Dumplings Szechuan Style: just dumplings hanging out in chili oil. Never spicy enough, flavor was good though: 8/10 Pork with Garlic Sauce: garlic...bout it. 6/10 Pork Peking Style: the main reason I took pictures, Google made it seem like the crispy skin was a factor. This is absolutely not the case. Flavor was fine, my own expectations got in the way so I'll give it 6/10
I honestly don't know how they have 4 stars. I ordered orange chicken and wontons. Both tasted like they were day old and reheated. You know how Chinese food is when reheated, chewy and tasteless. The only thing fresh was my fortune cookie and rice. I also asked to use the bathroom and they told me it was in use... The entire time I sat waiting for my food it apparently was in use. They would have been better off telling me they didn't have a bathroom for public use. The lady however was nice and addressed me by name. That's why I have 4 stars for service, minus one for the bathroom lie. I'm sorry but Chinese food should always be served fresh that day, not from the previous day.
District Dumplings
Be ready to transform to a low key Tokyo style Japanese place. The place is definitely has authenticity oozing out of it. Plus, the service is very good. The owner is kind and accommodating. We are vegetarians, but they have plenty of dumpling options. The first bite we took of the squash dumpling, amazing blast of flavors in the mouth. Same with the Buddha. These two were my top favorites knock out of the park. The taro and kale are also good, I’m not a fan of taro so I was ok with it but husband did like them. We also ordered the vegetarian shumami which usually is never available in vegetarian. It was great to try it. Overall, a great place, decent prices and delicious food.
such a cute place with delicious soup dumplings, will come again
Chans Kitchen
The foods were amazing! They were really tasty. They were very efficient so I just waited only for 10-15 mins after I ordered at the store. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken & Shrimp, Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce, Dumplings(pan fried), and Spring Rolls. I can definitely tell the dumplings are homemade. It was Friday and people constantly came in the store. I will go back to the store again. Thank you for the delicious foods!
The take-out Chinese restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, and the food is prepared and ready promptly, typically within 10 minutes of ordering. The hot and sour soup is particularly noteworthy, standing out as one of the best in the area. Additionally, the lunch menu's orange chicken is delightful, with a unique infusion of actual orange rind that avoids being overly sweet. While savory, the pork with dried bean curd was slightly saltier than anticipated but satisfying when eaten with rice.
Duck Chang's
UPDATE- 1/29/25- I went again last night and still reminds me of my childhood in the 80s hands down the best Chinese food around ! Peter and his family are awesome hosts as always! The original and the best Peking Duck since 1978! Dont listen to the copycats at PG! I used to come here in the '80s with my family and we recently came back and it was like nothing had changed the food was spectacular as always! Peter was great and still provides the same family recipes from his father "Duck". I love the fact that I can take my kids to where I used to enjoy the best Chinese food when I was their age and get to see them enjoy it as well!
Family run business here, I always drive by this place since I was a kid but it was first time entering it in 20+ years of living in the area. Went for my brother's birthday and family Lunar New Year celebration and enjoyed the experience. Small space but doesn't feel cramp or overcrowded, the service is nice and the workers are extremely friendly and helpful, also funny. Food was great, ordered Peking duck, lo mein, chicken, beef and broccoli, just multiple options for the family. Honestly can't go wrong, think the soup might just be bland, but I prefer savory items. Will definitely come visit again in the future, disappointed I haven't been here before!
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
Great little spot. No dine in, just take out. Staff are very kind. Service was super fast, and the lo mien was really good. Perfect for a quick pick up after work. Fair prices and good-sized portions. Will eat here again, would recomend.🥡 (menu current as of 12/25/2024
The service was fine. I came here because it had 4.2 stars and I am still looking for my go to Chinese spot. This was ok I ordered house fried rice extra spicy it taste like spicy white rice. The egg rolls were good. The Mongolian beef sauce was thick like they used store bought sauce I never had Mongolian beef where the sauce was this thick it is ok but not quite the best but wasn’t the worst.the shzechuan chicken sauce was thick like store bought sauce as well it was ok. The sesame seed chicken was ok. If you are looking for like the old school flavorful Chinese food with the big portions it’s not that type it’s a just get you by type restaurant if you are hungry I guess. I guess I will keep looking for a Chinese spot.
North China Cafe
Down and dirty hole-in-the-wall, delicious American Chinese carry-out set back far from the street - definitely a destination location spot. Keeping the overhead low and prices reasonable. Staffed by genuinely friendly employees. I have been here twice: first for sweet and sour soup with egg rolls, and the second visit for spicy orange chicken, and they delivered the heat. Loved it. I’ll be back.
Solid neighborhood place is a good choice for a low-hassle Chinese meal. They have the usual basics but also some dishes that are a little more interesting: mapo tofu, chow fun noodles, Taiwanese rice noodles, and a few others. It's worth an order if you know what to expect, and we've ordered from there twice now.
