Yummy Yummy Chinese Restaurant
The best crab rangoons you will ever eat. Egg rolls are amazing too. Family friendly, family owned and operated. It's a hole in the whole; don't pass it by.
Visiting the area for the first time and gave them a try. The staff was very friendly, happily answered our questions about sizes and ingredients and contents, and helped us optimize our order and came to check on us while we dined-in. Had beef and broccoli, general tso chicken, fried rice, egg rolls and pork wontons. The beef and broccoli was perfect. Brocoli was tender but crunchy and flavorful, the sauce was fairly ideal, the beef was appropriately melt in your mouth. The wontons were fresh from frier and delicious. The egg rolls were middling but better than I can do at home so a win. The rice was tasty with a variety of vegetables added in. The bean sprouts were a nice touch. The general tso was breaded and fried perfectly, my only disappointment was the sauce. General Tso varies wildly from place to place and this version was sweeter and tangier than my ideal, I prefer it slightly less pineapple and more heat, but I knew the risk going in. Wouldn't order it again here but wouldn't call it bad, either and would definitely eat here again and try other items.
New Fu Lins
really disappointing. cheap ingredients. my order came with bits of another dish, like they re-used the pan without washing. well I have a severe food allergy so now I am suffering thanks to their laziness. the leftover food is in the trash, where it belongs! please spare Mo Vegas the suffering of poor quality food. never again
TLDR: This is really good food. I usually don't like Chinese food. Given the option I will almost always choose something else and I end up eating Chinese only when someone else who likes it really wants it. The exception is Nu Fu Lin's. I really like this food and will try to pick some up whenever I'm in Morrisville. I've ordered fairly late on Christmas Eve the last two years and if there is ever a time and day I'd expect food from any restaurant to be sub-par, its late on Christmas. The food was still excellent on a day when I wouldn't begrudge any other restaurant having an off night. I highly recommend this place.
Sanfo Covenience Store
Food is amazing. Staff was great and helpful Best Chinese food in northern Vermont so far.
The food here is great! Taste fresh and lots of options. It’s also an Asian convenience store. A nice surprise in the middle of nowhere. After moving to Vermont, I was worried about finding good Asian food and I am pleasantly surprised.
Magic Wok
Let me start by saying, if you’re looking for somewhere to go out and eat Chinese, I don’t recommend. They are two VERY hard working parents and the restaurant currently accommodates their children while they work, as of this review. Now with literally everything else. They are extremely polite people, and coming from NY. I have not found a decent Chinese take out spot that was Semi close to my house in Brandon since moving here almost four years ago. The food is off the chain, and the prices are incomparable to other places in the area, quality and all. The portion sizes are huge too. Every person in my family loved our meals and had a lot left over for lunch the next day. We will definitely be frequenting this place for out takeout nights at home. Thank you! And I appreciate the hustle of trying to run a business and raise a family! (My son had eaten well over half of what was in the white to go container before I took it) fyi lol
The fried dumplings must be premade and very cheap. $8 for gummy tasteless food I’ve ever had.
Lee's
Never again… my one and only time going, there was absolutely disgusting. The dishes and the atmosphere is very gross and clearly dirty. My chicken was still raw and not cooked all the way and the rice is cold. My egg roll was burnt and had nothing in it. There was one lady there doing the register and cooking, and she was the only one there. She kept touching her face and was not wearing gloves while cooking my food. I almost walked out! $17 and I had 2 bites. Horrible!
Not bad at all! Chicken fingers were very doughy compared to the chicken in them. But the Beef Teriyaki, pork fried rice and crab Rangoon were all great. Their duck sauce is really good too!
Chopstick House II
Charged $7 to substitute fried rice for white rice on an order, was explained that I would get a large fried rice whereas I would normally only get a small white rice, sure a touch expensive but works for me. When I got home I opened my food and was staring face to face with a small sized take out container. When I called back to resolve the issue the guy proceeded to tell me they have two different sizes of large fried rice and was then on unpleasant to deal with and refused to do anything to make things right or admit that it was at least a bit misleading. Won’t be returning, instead check out Hung Tao about a mile away! Also let’s talk about the food I did get, rice was crunchy and dry, chicken tenders over fried and more chewy than a leather shoe And Mongolian beef more alike a beef stir fry, with a pale colored beef, baby corn, snow peas and celery. Vs my expectation of crispy beef in a chili sauce with some scallions and maybe bell peppers. Eat at your own disappointment
I am a big fan of Chopsticks House II. They have all the classic American Chinese food favorites like sesame chicken and lo mein. They also have authentic tasting May Fun 米粉, julienne potatoes and ribs. I drive from Shelburne to get my Chinese food there. There are 10 Chinese places closer and I go there if that is saying anything.
China Buffet
Really great Chinese food buffet. The food is constantly being filled on the buffet and every item we had was delicious. I can’t believe I didn’t go here before but I will now be a regular. The price is really fair for dinner and every time we drive by it is packed so you know it is good food.
Very nice place as a person who grew up coming here. Fairly clean. Food is usually fresh or recently cooked. Service is lovely. They ask if you’d like refills, take your plates when it seems done. Would love some cleaning and decorating done. Nice place to go.
Lucky Wok
Ordered won ton soup, egg rolls, and chicken wings. Absolutely horrible not to mention that after having part of the food took about an hour and a half for the cramps to come and needless to say my night has been spent in the bathroom. So order lucky wok people and after you eat it you will be lucky if you can walk. Should be called lucky sit and puke
Food love there some good stuff but it's weird because it depends who is cooking at time u go there definitely what love taste different based on that like way different so it's hit or miss with sucks cause like said food can be good very good so it's a gamble don't expect what had one day be same and taste same the next time if different cook that day if your a gambler it's for u lol😂
Lucky Dragon
Have never been here ordered take out. Rice was hard no flavor. Lo mein was bad too. Crab ragoon tasted like straight canned crab with nothing else in it. Chicken in golden fingers tasted old and bland and both were very greasy. Egg rolls had strong weird flavor. Took one bite of everything and couldn't eat it. Frozen grocery store chinese food would have been better. Hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life.
Sesame chicken and beef teriyaki were fantastic. As was the rice. Service was good and the prices were fair. Only thing I don't like is the generic duck sauce in packets. Nobody likes that stuff. Take the time to make your own, I know alot of people that look forward to the duck sauce from a Chinese restaurant. If it's something you squeeze out of a packet like ketchup, you're doing it wrong.
China Express 2
Spent almost 70 bucks for dinner tonight from china express 2 and it was a HUGE disappointment!!! Let’s start with the PORK EGG ROLLS… I ordered four of them .. my kids only ate the “shell” of them because the filling was nothing like they’ve ever had! Definitely wasn’t pork egg rolls. The house special friend rice I ordered with no veggies except onions and it came with about 4 tiny shrimp 🍤 almost zero pieces of pork and most of the rice was hard lots of grease. The shrimp with broccoli and garlic sauce was flavorLESS no hints of garlic at all like NONE! Also ordered boneless BBQ ribs that were dried out and very tuff! They looked really good but after one bite I had to spit it out the after taste was as if it was going bad and NOBODY wants to end up with food poisoning so that dish was a total lost! After all that money spent I could never recommend this Chinese restaurant and I’ll never return ever. Sucks when u think your getting a nice treat for your family and saving yourself time in the kitchen only to have to still whip something up at home because not one of us was satisfied! Not impressed at all. This place was once my go to spot way back in the day! However ownership changed years ago and tonight I was reminded why I STOPPED spending my hard earned money here. Fu-da on pearl street in Burlington is a much better option UNFORTUNATELY they’re closed on Wednesday!
Out of all burlington's Chinese restaurants. This is the one. One time. At this point. I had only ordered about three times delivery. And a guy who works there w Sees me at my job. And he was delighted to ask how the food was and tell me he works there. Very nice staff. Classic lovely taste. Clearly family owned. Delievery is always on point. Picking up time is always on point. Food is always great. Love it
New East Garden
Small buisness, family owned, Amazing food with NO MSG! Super friendly people, really great combo deals and pricing. Their Combination Dinner General Tso chicken is my favorite!
This one is hit or miss. They usually have the best Chinese in town, but that's not saying alot. More often than not their food is good tho. Once in a while tho.... Not so much.
Fu Da Chinese Restaurant
Delicious asian food in Burlington! Moreover, the food was affordable. I ordered the beef with oyster sauce and shrimp egg foo young for $16-ish. The portion was big, u could enjoy the food with ur partner. The beef and the shrimp were also abundant, so yummy. U could dine in since there were plenty tables in the restaurant, even though most people prefered taking out. Beside plenty tables, the resto had various kind of food, so u didn't need to worry finding the one that matched with ur taste. The resto was clean, and the staffs were so kind and friendly. There were restrooms in the resto, but u should ask for the keys. Would love to eat again in this resto if i came back to Burlington. Yeah
I love it here! it feels like you are looking in the wrong end of binoculars! amazing food. i love the atmosphere. sooo low key. i ordered the kung pao chicken combo. WOULD recommend. i also tried the crab rangoon my friend ordered. also very delicious. crispy! another highlight is the straws. like if you order a soda, they give u the cutest straw. wow. no music, peaceful vibe. it was like $10 for the combo and its a lot of food. edit: i heard a rumor that if you walk from the door to the counter in five steps or less.. your food is free!! but! no knocking into other patrons. and no one can help you (carry you, etc)
