Royal Jade
I went with some family members who have been going there for years because it is good and inexpensive. They also prefer local restaurants to chains. His establishment didn’t disappoint. The service was quick and the same with the food. I also liked that they serve a complete meal with a soup of your choice and an egg roll. The restaurant is clean and organized and decorated in the typical “Chinese” style which I find enjoyable. I ordered the cashew chicken which was a bit different than usual since it was red colored but still tasty. It is nice to see some innovation and originality.
Food comes out so quick and all the workers are nice and well-mannered. This is the Orange Chicken Alacart and its so delicious, the chicken comes out fresh and hot, and I love that even this big portion of food comes with a side of white rice.
Little Saigon
I too don’t understand the rating of this place haha. The pho is not that great, I should have just went to the place I usually go to but wanted to try this place out. The bahn mi wasn’t even great either…the bread wasn’t even crispy. But maybe I’m expecting too much from Utah since I’m used to the pho and bahn mi at Westminster, CA (Little Saigon). The place gets so crowded too and when it does, it is hard to find a place to sit. We only noticed that because we got there before it got busy and while waiting for our food, more and more people were coming and the line got long to the door that it blocked access to tables…it was like standing in a cafeteria line or something. 😆 I felt relieved that we got there and found a table before it got busy but wanted to hurry and get out of there since it was getting crowded.
This Vietnamese place is really good; everything that I tried from here was so delicious; the pho was ok. I really enjoyed when the pho has that taste of the broth. The place is small and sometimes it is difficult to find a table.
Blossom Chinese & American Restaurant
The place is very nice and clean. Good service. The only concern I have is, they brought ham fried rice when we asked for steamed rice and I don't usually bother for small confusion but, since I don't eat pork, it's bothered me little especially when they put it in same plate with my dinner.
Blossom Chinese & American Cuisine in Saratoga Springs, UT, offers a delightful fusion experience for those days when you're craving Chinese-American classics with a side of comfort. I started with the classic Chinese takeout plate, a combination of fried rice, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour goodness. The fried rice was perfectly fluffy, with just the right hint of seasoning to remind you that sometimes, less really is more. The sesame chicken came with a slightly sticky glaze, speckled with sesame seeds, giving it that slight crunch you crave in every bite. And as for the sweet and sour? Let's just say the sauce was so good, I found myself double-dipping with zero shame. Then, there's the egg drop soup with crispy wonton strips on top. It had that nostalgic, comforting warmth you look for in every good Chinese restaurant soup. The taste? Subtly seasoned, not too salty, and thick enough to make you feel like you're having a hearty starter before diving into the main feast. Overall, Blossom Chinese & American Cuisine hits the mark for classic flavors with no frills – just good, dependable, tasty food. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to revisit for that cozy, familiar experience!
Wok The Line - Asian Cuisine
I always love walking into Wok the Line. Not only are the smells amazing but the food tastes even better. It's the perfect meal when you looking for something healthy and tasteful. All the flavors come together to make something extraordinary. I eat here maybe 1 or 2 times a week. I am always greeted when walking in. After ordering and being around this welcoming place for a few weeks the service and atmosphere gets better and better. The restaurant is always clean. Francis, Sergio and Von are always here when I order food. They took it upon themselves to memorize my order making it super easy for me to walk in and get my good started. They genuinely care about their guests and are doing an amazing job. I live 15 minutes away and my food is still hot when I get home. I will continue coming here with the service and care Francis, Sergio and Von continue to give. PS The food is amazing and I recommend trying a few different sauces every time to dial in what you really like.
What I ordered was not great. I got noodles and rice with some veggies, steak and the General Orange Sauce. I would not recommend the sauce. It was overly sweet and something (I think it was the sauce) left a strange bitter taste and I couldn’t even finish my food. Wouldn’t try this again because it was also $20 for a bowl and drink. Not worth that price when I couldn’t even force myself to finish. Probably better if you get a different sauce. Great concept but I did not like my choice at all.
China Isle Restaurant
The food I ordered stated "spicy garlic chicken" which yes, there was chicken, but a majority of this meal was just sauce lathered veggies. It should be called spicy garlic veggies with a small portion if chicken. The sauce used was delicious, chicken cooked perfectly, and I was able to get a side dish of BBQ pork which was delightful. I just don't appreciate being mislead about how the meat to veggie ratio was portioned out. I'm not coming back for that reason.
Christmas tradition for us to have Chinese Chriatmas Eve. We are so happy that they are open on holidays. We went early, so no wait, but there was definitely a wait when we left. Very popular place. Our food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Hands down the best egg drop soup
WHISTLE WOK
Good food, good prices, quick service. One of the best Chinese places I've been to in a long time.
Always love coming here. It's a family favorite! They are locally owned. They are authentic. The food taste good. The customer service is excellent and fast! I can usually get out in a couple of minutes, even with a few people in front of me.
Happy Dragon Chinese Express
We live in Pleasant Grove where, aside from The Smoked Taco and The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, there's really not many other restaurants worth spending your money on as dining out gets more and more expensive. For fast Chinese food I don't know of ANY options, even bad ones, so we've been driving to Orem, until we stumbled onto this little gem in Cedar Hills. Walked in about 20 minutes before they closed and weren't expecting much more than dried out food in dirty, day-old serving trays, but we were pleasantly wrong. We were immediately greeted by an incredibly friendly Latino young man who spoke only enough English to get by, but who immediately offered us some samples with a smile from ear to ear. My wife shrugged and said "Sure" even though we were pretty close to deciding what we were going to order without them. He poked at some General Tsao's chicken with a toothpick and handed it to her. "Oh yum!" Then handed me one, then poked at some honey shrimp. Before long, I had one sample in my mouth and two more in hand when our new friend was going for more. I waved him off with a smile. If he kept at it, he was going to get me full without paying for my dinner. Thoroughly impressed already, we placed our orders. I got the Mongolian beef and, after the sample of that honey shrimp I didn't care how much the premium was, I had to have more! My wife got the General Tsao's chicken (the sample sold her, too) and the last of the broccoli beef. After our containers were loaded, he walked over to the stove and fired up a wok. I guessed he was going to get started on some more broccoli beef for the next guest just before ringing us up. Then he went to the register and punched in our orders and I paid. But he didn't give us our food. He kept smiling and saying "just a minute" and kept working the wok, dumping about 8 ounces of beef into it. Finally, in broken English he explained that he didn't think my wife got enough beef with her broccoli and he wanted to make her some more! Finally cooked, he dumped a ton of fresh, sizzling hot beef on top of her already-full container! (Look at the photo - the broccoli beef is in the upper left and you can hardly see any broccoli!) We just looked at each other and smiled! He tied up our bag with a huge, toothy smile, then in broken English thanked us for coming and invited us to come back again. About as sincere and genuine as you can get. When there are so many other places that are just mediocre with lacking service, this was a breath of fresh air we couldn't stop talking about all the way home. While the food is very good, it's not the best I've ever had, but it is about as good as Chinese fast food gets (and blows Panda out of the running without even trying). That said, the honey shrimp is outstanding and solidly worth the upcharge. We came away completely stuffed and my wife had so much beef on her broccoli, she just couldn't finish it all. We'll definitely be back, and much sooner than later! Thank you for the good food and exceptional service, Happy Dragon! We look forward to seeing you next time!
I recently tried Happy Dragon Chinese in Cedar Hills, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Their service is quick and genuinely friendly - you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The menu is far bigger than what you’d get at Panda, and the food tastes fresher and has better quality overall. I’ve tried a few different dishes, and everything has been delicious every time. The staff clearly cares about the customers, and the whole experience is just better across the board. Definitely my new go-to spot for Chinese food, and I’ll be back soon!
Red Dragon Express
Service was good. Portion size are average. Like most reviews, the food was a little bland and lacked flavor.
The food is delicious, I am picky about my Chinese food, this one did not disappoint and the customer service is incredible, they make you feel welcomed. I would recommend their house lo me in and chicken fried rice. I will definitely be returning to try more delicious food.
Empire Chinese Kitchen
I’ve given this place two tries now, hoping for a better experience the second time around, but unfortunately, it fell short both times. As someone originally from California, where quick and tasty Chinese food spots are on every corner, it’s been challenging to find a place that meets those expectations here. When I heard about this spot, I was hopeful, but my experiences left much to be desired. On my first visit, I tried their made-to-order dishes. As other reviewers have mentioned, the food was oily and lacked flavor. Determined to give it another shot, I returned for their hot food-to-go options. This time, I ordered the veggie chow mein, sesame chicken, and broccoli beef. The chow mein was a letdown—gummy, overcooked, and tasted like it might have been leftovers from the day before. The sesame chicken had an okay flavor, but the texture of the chicken was dry and tough. As for the broccoli beef, while the meat was tender and the broccoli was fresh, the overall flavor was odd and unappealing. At around $13 for the plate, I expected better quality. To top it off, I found a grey hair in my food, which was...not ideal (see pics). Overall, I’d recommend saving your money and looking elsewhere for better Chinese takeout. The food here didn’t live up to expectations, and the lack of quality control was disappointing.
This place has the BEST chicken lo mein! I have tried other Chinese restaurants lo mein in the Bountiful/Woods Cross area & this place takes the cake! I also got cream cheese wontons. Delicious! When I went tonight they were busy but still friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place! (This picture shows 1/2 of the lo mein and I had eaten two wontons before I took this picture)
Gurkhas - Indian And Nepali Cuisine
Amazing place! We went for a 3pm meal and were the only ones there. It is such a beautiful place. We shared the Coconut Korma and it was most delicious. The regular Naan bread was particularly good. They have a buffet there on certain days/times. The service (for obvious reasons) was wonderful, lol. We would absolutely go there again and HIGHLY recommend.
I absolutely love their food quality. The taste of the biriyani was amazing and surprisingly they are consistent. I also loved their chicken grill and specially samosa chaat. If you love spicy try to select 6 out of 7 spice level to get that good spicy food. I love spice and the level of spice was perfect. Additionally, their food is low cost comparing to others here. One downside is that I don’t like the color added/produced in the foods as those seem like more colored looking.
The Kathmandu
The food is delicious! We’ve been here at least 4 times and each time we’re treated to an amazing exotic journey of spices and meat. I love it here
Restaurant is nice, and good vegetarian food, but not the best for non-vegetarian. For veg: we loved the chili momos and tofu coconut curry! Our non-veg friends got the momos which were dry and lacked flavor.
Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks
Pretty standard breakfast diner. The parking lot is small and it gets really crowded at peak hours. The wait ranges from 10 minutes to "no way," especially after 9am on weekends. The servers have always been friendly, and range from ok to great but averaging more towards great. Food is relatively fast once ordered, standard size, and is consistent in quality. Fruit upgrade is not worth the price. The space needs ventilation though. It is always instantly smoky when I walk in, and my breathing definitely gets worse as I sit there. If in line, I always opt to wait outside. During nice weather, I will only eat outside, even if there is a significant wait time difference.
Staff is friendly and attentive! Got the eggs Benedict, one of my favorite dishes to order out it was really good, egg in it was maybe less runny than I typically like seemed maybe like it was more hard boiled than poached but not sure. Split a pancake with my friend, that was delicious! I love a good diner pancake!
