Wok & Roll
My order was extremely disappointing. I ordered two (2) orders ("meals") through Too Good to Go. Each order was to contain two entrees, two sides, and a drink. Due to very poor directions, I arrived at closing and only received one order and no drink. Evidently, my orders were not boxed and put to the side for pickup. The food was OK, but nothing I would go out of my way for. Directions need to be more explicit (stating entrance is in the tunnel, or kiosk is in the food court, and specify Main Street or McKinley). I will not waste my money on this place again.
The salt and pepper shrimp with the fried rice is incredibly seasoned with the right amount of spice. We also ordered orange chicken, jalapeño shrimp and shrimp fried rice. They are the real deal and food tastes authentic to their culture if you’re in the area please check them out. They didn’t disappoint at all.
Wok & Roll
This is a common lunch spot for employees working in downtown Houston who go to the tunnels system to grab a bite. It's exactly what you would expect from a small Chinese place catering to lunchtime crowds, i.e. generic, not overly flavorful food that still serves its purpose due to its location and price. It's very convenient to get to, and lunch combo specials provide a choice of various kinds of rice or lo mein, 1 or 2 meat entrees (selected from the entrees of the day such as bourbon chicken, General Tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, pepper steak) as well as a side of either egg roll, green beans, or steamed vegetable (soup such as egg drop soup is available for an extra $1.50). This place won't win any culinary awards, but it's not trying to, and its patrons aren't expecting it to. If you want a quick bite that's close to several downtown offices without being overly worried about outstanding quality, this is a place to consider.
The atmosphere feels amazing and also has this "aesthetic" view inside. The food is what you expect, really good Chinese food and for a fair price. I do recommend this chain if you would like some good and quick food to go, especially to workers.

I got home from work one day and there was a menu on my door. The menu shows a very large selection of seemingly tasty items so of course I saved the menu. The day came that I was too lazy to cook so I pulled out the menu to place an order for delivery. A lady answered immediately and took my order. She was very nice. My food over an hour to get to me even though I live five minutes away. The lady did mention they were very busy so I gave grace. If I enjoyed the food, I would have picked up from now on. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great or good or even decent. I ordered the Singapore noodles and the salted pepper chicken. The food was fresh but there was absolutely no seasoning or sauce on either dish. I love Chinese food unusually but this place is just not for me. What a shame. They would have had a regular customer.
I picked up dinner to go. The dining room was closed so I cannot comment on atmosphere. The egg drop soup and the sweet-and-sour soup were delicious. You can tell that the cook focus on texture and flavoring from good ingredients instead of salting or MSG. The beef lo mein was not generous in the protein, but the taste was satisfactory. Orange chicken was dry, but that is expected when you’re using breast meat. Overall, I would say that this is not a destination restaurant, but it will serve as a good neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
Tian Tian Lu Chuaner
North Chinese cuisine specialized in flour food. Food quality is good but not great. Chinese churros, 油条,was fresh and crispy. Tofu jelly, 豆脑,fresh made but a little salty. Also ordered beef burritos 牛肉饼, was OK, but the inside was not fully warm. Overall food quality, I would give 4 stars. However the service hurts their rating. Only accept cash but no credit card. Interestingly, they put credit card logos on the wall, but they told me they only accepted cash.
It’s a tiny, old but surprisedly good Chinese brunch place (northern style). I had enough HK Dim sum and have been looking for northern style brunch for a long time and I also see this one but it seems so old and out of fashion so I never went in. Finally, I had the first northern brunch here and didn’t fail. And I LOVE their Wanton, the skin is really thin and meat is very tender. I personally don’t like HK wanton, they put too many things such as water chestnut, shrimp etc. BUT I like the traditionally one the most, just meat and only meat but to make it very tender is not easy. This restaurant did a good job. AND it’s really CHEAP.
Bao Shi Yi
Food was pretty good and fresh! I will say I recommend order Fried Dumplings and Soy milk! Their Chinese Hot Sauce is also impressive! I will come back here soon to visit them again!
I give it 3 stars out of 5 because of bad customer services, the buns are not very special, but other foods on the menu are good. During my experience here, there was only one person working as waiter and cashier at same time. She didn’t speak English, making it very difficult to order food. After we ordered the food, she came back to my table and tried to explain to us that one of my food is sold out but we didn’t understand at that moment, so she got the money and slammed it on my table and walked away. Buns taste normal, but other foods taste better. Such as beef noodle, century egg congee, and wonton soup.
HK Dim Sum
Looking for a great little Dim Sum spot? Try HK.! It's budget friendly, made to order, fresh, great portion sizes, and just plain delicious. At other spots around town, we'd walk about $100 a person or more for dim sum. Here, $20 a person and you're stuffed! Found a new favorite to try at other spots. 42, 43, or 49. Two of these 3 we ordered. One had a super crispy and flaky crust with a shrimp center. It was just delicious! The other was super soft rolled and stuffed with all sorts of goodies. Meat, mushrooms, etc. I believe it was a bean paste roll. I'll get this every time now. This is one that won't disappoint. They were attentive, not one negative item to point out here. There's plenty of parking here, also a number of parking garages. During prime time hours, it can get a little packed. We already have plans to go back for more this weekend. Until next time.
The soup was good and the fried rice was not really fired but was good would come back to try more see attached pictures and follow me on Google reviews for more travel spots and food
Tai Loi
Very good place for party tray and catering foods. Prices are reasonable too.
Lau Cua Dong hotpot is the best here. Foods are come with varieties vege and flat noodle and tofu, and beef. Especially they have fried fish cake is also the best I had tried. Parking is big and always available in this shopping center. Small restaurant but look cozy. Good place to hang out with guys since they serve liquor there. Will come back to try different food. Recommended.
Bamboo Garden
Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Egg rolls had zero crunch and very little flavor.. Lo mein was unbelievably greasy, completely limp, and had No flavor. I'm not sure how to describe the dumplings...thickest, doughiest, worst Ever. Pics of the 'wrapper'. Will Never again do business with this place.
Ordered delivery from Bamboo Garden Tonight. EXCELLENT! START TO FINISH! Everything was fresh and perfect. I ordered the Mandarin Fried Rice and it was packed full of chicken, beef, and shrimp. Really great! Also, hot and sour soup was delicious as were the egg rolls! So fresh and hand made not frozen. The sweet and sour pork was great too! All and All FIVE STARS GUYS! ALSO, THE SWEETEST NICEST DELIVERY PERSON. A GREAT MEAL (For 2) FROM BAMBOO GARDENS. 2 PERSONS/ TONS OF FOOD AND LEFTOVERS FOR THE NEXT DAY? $42 total w/ driver's tip included. ❤️❤️❤️
Panda Express
I recently visited Panda Express and overall had a good experience. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was fresh. However, I was disappointed with the Mushroom Chicken; it seemed to consist mostly of mushrooms with very little chicken. On the bright side, the Orange Chicken was absolutely delicious and is definitely the standout dish. I’ll be sure to order it again next time!
Not all Panda Express are the same! This location 🙌 hands down ! Very exceptional service , clean area, fast service and the food delicious 😋 Greeted from the moment I walked in till the moment I left . Special thanks to miss Alma ! She made this visit more pleasant ! Very professional on Spanish and English! Thanks 🙏🏻 to everyone! Keep the great service

Stacked all of my food on top in this one container. Horrible customer service and these chicken wings too dam big
They have different locations. We were just passing by and wanted to give it a try. We were not very hungry. We just ordered 10 pieces of lemon pepper chicken wings which it came with rice & biscuit. The biscuit was a little oily. The chicken wings were small but they tasted delicious.

The fried rice was just a tad bit crunchy but all the other food was great and flavorful. We will still return.
I come here regularly so I figured I'd write a review for this location. It's much better than the one located off of highway 6 for sure but I do feel the experience depends on who's working the day. The customer service is above average for the most part there and my orders have always been accurate. The price is very fair too for the amount you order.I always order take out and my experience with how they pack my food has been my only issue. The sauce is always dripping out of the package so I come home with it soaking in my bag and ruins the napkins in there so I would always have to use one my own. The food also always feels above temperature almost burning my tongue. Recently, however, they have been improving so I don't want to knock too many points off from them. Hopefully this becomes an ongoing thing! 🤞
Jing 5
Jing 5 was quite a delightful find for us. If you're interested in trying delicious chicken, duck, or pork offal, then this is the place to stop by and give it a try. You can purchase a mix and match of various items, which are sold by the pound. After selecting the protein options, the server will mix them with the seasoning sauces – either mild spicy or hot spicy. They also offer a variety of pre-packaged items for takeaway. They also offer noodles and other menu items. It is a small restaurant with maybe about 5 or 6 tables. We will visit there again when we explore the Bellaire Chinatown area.
Wuhan eatery that has a variety of marinated meats and cold appetizers. Tried beef shank and duck neck. Both were good. Will come by to try more. Update: re gan mian is only okay. Like the duck necks, pork feet, and vegetables.
