Chinos Chinese Kitchen
100% worth it. This plate is $9 after taxes. This place is kind of hard to find, it’s in the “Supermarkado” next to the dollar store.
I ordered the Mongolian beef and beef ribs with a side of combination fried rice what I received was two pork ribs a side of fried rice and a whole another container of combination fried rice rather than the Mongolian beef that I ordered and now they will not answer the phone.do not order from these people I just moved to Houston and this is the first place I tried because it's close to my house they are trash. PERIODT! INCOMPETENCE AT ITS BEST!
Panda Express
Ordered online for two bowls with beyond orange chicken one with chow mein, the other one with stir fry rice. the portion is very small for the price of $10.xx I would not order again if this is the portion size. The bowl still has a lot room they could have filled it up with the rice or noodles. Just to let y'all know how small the portion was, I was able to combine both bowls into one to make it a full bowl and able to put the cover on and not overfilled it. Very disappointed with the portion. Taste is average. I have tried other locations before and the portion size is bigger.
Do not order from this location! I have ordered from this location several times and I am extremely disappointed with the quality of food and their portion sizes. This past time I ordered through DoorDash. Upon arrival I could immediately tell something was off with the order because the container was extremely light. The seal was still intact. Upon opening the container I am met with empty space. I can literally see the bottom of the container. Looks as if someone was just throwing food in and not taking the time to complete the order correctly. On top of this, the food itself tasted old and the vegetables were slimy. I repeat do not order from this location! I personally will not be giving this location anymore business.
Poke In The Bowl
the place was very aesthetically pleasing and my bowl was very fresh and yummy! i got half white rice and salad with crab meat, salmon, shrimp, cucumber, corn, green onions, radish and topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. the flavors together were so good. the workers also very nice. i would definitely go back to try their burrito and add more toppings!
This was my first time trying poke, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were so fresh and well-balanced—it definitely exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
China King Express
Is this the BEST Chinese restaurant in the world? No, but it's pretty darn good. From China King Express you can expect: 1. Juicy, flavorful chicken (grilled Teriyaki I thought was a gamble, but very impressed) 2. VERY good value for your money, other restaurants with same quality or less charge 30% more. 3. You can expect consistency here, I've ordered numerous times, and the amount, flavor, and customer service is the same. (Time of review dishes are $6 - $9 for Medium size)
Usually a good spot but not today. The food was very old and greasy. Egg rolls and rangoons were both old and burnt. Won't be going back.
Shanghai Restaurant
Good old fashion Chinese food. Very friendly team at this restaurant. The waitress works there part-time, was very hospital, and provided a list of recommended restaurants in Bellaire Blvd. We brought back leftovers and were very good the next day. We thought about going back. However, we wanted to try as many restaurants as we can during our visit. There were a lot of take out during Christmas Eve, though they were one of a few restaurants opened in Diho Square, east of Ranchester Drive.
Very delicious. Very good service. Very good atmosphere. I've been coming to this restaurant for 20+ plus years. I know it has changed hands several times and menu has changed but it is very good food. Large portions. Staff always helps out and comfortable atmosphere will keep us coming back for more🇺🇸🦀🍚🥡🍤🍜❤️
Neway
Neway Restaurant is my go-to place for good food and karaoke entertainment in Houston Chinatown. I always brag about Neway to my friends who love to sing karaoke. I particularly like the food they serve. It's authentic Chinese cuisine. OMG, I don't smell any cooking in the main dining area nor the karaoke rooms. I believe there is a full-size kitchen in here. Because I could order just about everything from the menu during weekday, including Peking Duck. Food is really good, I could eat here every week even if I don't sing. If you sing in the main dining area, just make sure you order $20 worth of food and drink per person if you want to sing. Otherwise, they rent the rooms by the hour. Either way, it's great to be fed and entertained at Neway.
I’ve been coming here for years, they are also so attentive, kind and remember you if you frequent. I now live in cypress but I come here every chance I get. Don’t think twice if you google or find this place on search! You’ll regret it! The karaoke is fire!
China King
The service was great the lady that took our order was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious Great price. I definitely recommend!!
Myself and my family ate in, the lady in the front was very kind and answered any questions we had. The food came out fast and the quality was exceptional. We will definitely continue to order from here! We recommend the Pepper Steak!
Chinese American Restaurant
Hands down some of the best Cantonese we’ve ever at the most lowest prices. We ordered 7 delicious dishes and it was $90!! The service was so quick and the ladies were so sweet and attentive! By far one of our favorite places now.
Like many said, don’t let the decor and appearances fool you. This place is a hidden gem with their delicious and well prepared Cantonese style food. I tried their signature dish of salt and pepper fried pork ribs, Cantonese combo crispy noodles and their fried sole fish. Everything was perfect and huge portions. Will definitely be back for more.
Cafe 101
A classic late-night hangout spot for all Houstonians and travellers alike, with a wide variety of Asian-fusion dishes and amazing taste. From classic Chinese cuisine to sushi and sashimi, from delicious snacks to hotpots, they have it all. Plus a colorful menu of drinks, from boba tea to cocktails. Definitely my personal favorite place to chill with friends and even business partners. Service is great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is simply amazing. Modern, trendy, and upscale. Ideal to the point of iconic. Parking, however, can be horrendous, especially weekend nights. Anyway, highly recommended and definitely coming back!
Setting wise, the place is very aesthetically pleasing. Very clean and chandeliers were stationed in the back! Food was authentic and perfectly cooked for every dish. Great service and it was such. pleasant dining experience! I plan to come back and I recommend the Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice
Niu Yi Zui
Certainly an interesting looking restaurant, nice and modern and a break from the norm. The menu is very limited certainly in regards to warm offerings. There is an emphasis placed on hand made noodles that vary in size, and they are certainly are nice. However, the beef offered is rather poor, dry and chewy. In addition the dish I ordered was presented warm and became cold very quickly. Great service and sensible pricing, for me the menu offering is just to sparse and the meat just too cheap.
A little disappointed since I saw great reviews. The noodles were fresh but when they are stuck together, it was quite frustrating to eat. I got the oil splashed noodles with pork. By the way if you must try this place, get the pork. My friends got the beef and it was cold meat from the fridge. Seriously. You are welcome. The sauce was good but I wanted more. When I asked for more she pointed to the vinegar and Chili oil, which I guess made sense. But it just lacked volume and taste. I wish my review was different. I also got the beef hamburger. It was different for sure. Tasted okay, but not something that wowed me. I probably wouldn't come back. To be honest, the service was great and surprisingly clean here, but food was subpar. 3 stars for okay.
Shan hu
Stopped by to eat some amazing food! The Generals Chicken, House Lo Mein, and the dumplings were on point! Very fresh and packed with flavour! Didn't expect this level of amazing food inside of an HMart! Will definitely come back!
I wasn't planning to eat while in H-Mart but a downpour of rain changed my mind. I had the beef & broccoli with steamed rice. The service was friendly & the portion was pretty good for the price which just edged this from a 3 to 4 star review. The broccoli was cooked perfectly but the sauce was pretty bland. It may be because the food was not loaded with msg (?) which is a good thing. I did have to put a heavy dose of Sriracha on it to help the flavor.
Mama Chang
It's a pretty decent place kind of hit or miss with some of the food depending on what time of day you come in. the only problem i have with this place is that made to order meals can be customize one day then cant the next and it makes zero sense. Like I've gotten the same meal several times without vegetables and then all of a sudden you can't take the vegetables out even though it's made to order? It makes it that much harder for people with food allergies
The best Chinese food in Spring Branch! They started inside the Fiesta in wirt rd and now they have two restaurants! That just shows the food quality ! Keep up the great work Mama Chang ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
