Visiting from out of town , Came from the Fort Worth Area ! Called in an order and service was quick and easy , pick up was quick and easy ! I will be back next time I am here ! my drive from here to my sisters house was 13 minutes and food was still warm , egg rolls were crispy !
Stopped in with the wife on a Friday evening. Great friendly service, great food. Forgot to take a picture of it, but the first thing we had was the Pork Soup Bao. Great way to start a great meal! We also had the Crispy Chicken, Dandan Noodle, Spicy Cauliflower and Garlic Sauce with Shrimp. Will be back. Would recommend.
Los Arcos
There service is approaching five star they're very courteous time and they cater to the customer they make your your orders have it your way a1 Mexican and service they also have live bands and karaoke on Fridays and Saturday lights
So this restaurant will overcharge you when you are tipsy they think you are not aware of how much you are being charged. I’ve called plenty of times. I hate that it has came to me writing on here about the stuff that they do. I hope someone can get in touch with me so we can get this resolved. I would hate for y’all to keep overcharging people and taking advantage of them I did pay because I did not want to cause a scene.
Sichuan Pepper Express
I've visited the new location off Jones and 1960. Everything I've tried has been delicious. My favorite has to be the sweet and sour pork with the fried rice. The Rangoons are on point, so plump, huge with crab! Get ya some.
Food is always fresh and hot!! So many times we order on an app and it’s cold. It’s just better to pick it out. Eat it here and have nothing to clean up at home My family loves the noodles, orange chicken? And of course vegetables to make it healthy!
Connie's
Great food. Great price. Daily numbered specials are Great deals.
My husband and I took our family here tonight. The service was awesome. The food was even better if I could I would give this place 10☆'s.
E-Star Asian Buffet
I recently visited E-Star Buffet, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is exceptionally clean for a buffet, which isn’t always common. They maintain it well, making it feel more like a proper restaurant than a typical buffet. The food quality is excellent, with a variety of options, including fresh sushi. However, the customer service could use some improvement. The employees, especially those at the front desk, weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming, and I didn’t see many smiles. Overall, it’s a solid choice for quality food, but the staff could be a bit warmer.
New buffet restaurant. Attentive waitstaff. Beautiful interior and atmosphere. Huge selection of delicious food, chicken, beef, shrimp, fresh fruit and vegetables, steamed clams, crawfish. All very yummy.
The Rice Box
I normally dislike eating outdoors, but it was a pleasant little place with incredibly good food. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy, there are propane heaters to keep you warm on colder days. I really enjoyed myself and the employees were so sweet and helpful.
Ok we went for the first time tonight. Kids weren't fond it and they love Chinese food Husband and I loved it! Online to me seemed over whelming to think to order. Walk in was welcoming menus was EASY to order from! The guy I can't remember his name(had a mustache lol) was so nice. We ordered went outside... inside felt LIVE outside everyone seemed quit and boring lmao. We 4 were definitely a little louder oooppps. We hung out ate and love the outside tables(I enjoy eating outside). The guys(with the mustache) gave us some sweet dip for the egg rolls WHICH WAS AMAZING! Definitely going back without kids lol they boring jk they don't do change well but they didn't complain about the food just not their usual. (Boooo only photo I got) great size portions I agree with that husband and I could have shared.
Chinese Buffet
Clean restrooms and clean lines. Food was great have sea food, beef and pork. Great place to come with the family for a great experience. They also have real ice cream and lots of desserts. The pudding was a different switch for me that I was in shocked I loved it( instead of vanilla cookies they put peanut cookies. I also got to taste coconut shrimp ! That was something new to me also has a good taste. They also have cooked oysters and crab.
If I could leave zero, I would.I had an absolutely horrible experience. People won't speak English. I asked if they used peanut oil no one could answer just said no good. Ended up having a reaction and to top it off out whole group got food poisoning. Absolutely the worst experience!!!! Do not go here.
Chatt 'N Paan
This is probably my favorite hidden gem in Houston that I have only grown fonder and fonder of over the past year I have been here due to one main reason: always available, steaming hot, karak cha (strong tea). The place is also open till 2am. So whether you need an afternoon pickup or want to satisfy a post-tarawee craving, their amazing karak cha seems to always be flowing. The staff has always been friendly, courteous and respectful. They also have all of the usual deshi snacks samosa, shingara, petties (alternatively called chicken/beef puff pastry), aloo chop that pair perfectly with that strong, steaming cup of tea. just one disclaimer: don't expect a coffee house vibe like filli or brass tacks (i basically just go in and out to satisfy my cha craving that only seems to be pacifiable by their unique recipe lol). the place is just a big room with a few office-room type tables with chairs near the front, two big screen TVs broadcasting news in various languages, and a couple of snooker tables in the back. also, if this matters to you, be prepared to deal with a strong desi uncle energy. just pretend you're at a dawat and be on your best behavior and you'll be fine as far as not unintentionally offending anyone (if the owner is by any chance reading this, would like to ask forgiveness myself if I have ever been guilty of not having the best manners with any of your patrons).
The front desk person who is a manager and old guy. He is very very rude. The place is not clean and the old guy charged extra amount for table tennis. He was fighting with all the customers. I would never ever recommend this place. I was a regular customer here. I request the owner of this place to take serious action with his behavior.
Elin Asian Bistro & Ramen
Who ever said the general Tao chicken tasted toxic. You are probably just toxic. It’s definitely better than any other place around here. I’m so upset I haven’t eaten here sooner. The mui fun (yes I spelled wrong) was awesome and we really enjoyed the pan fried dumplings. Great service! We will be sure to be back! Sorry for pic. Messy eaters lol
First time going. Had the Lunch special 🍱 was good!! I got the orange chicken, white rice, egg roll and wonton soup 🍲. The food was good portion, tasted fresh, good food and restaurant was clean and in order. Will go again.
Aim Thai Restaurant
Aim Thai Restaurant off of West Montgomery is a hidden gem that delivers some of the best Thai food in town! From the first bite, it’s clear that every dish is made with care, featuring bold, authentic flavors and perfectly balanced seasonings that bring each dish to life. The Pad Thai is a must-try, with the perfect combination of sweetness, tang, and spice, while the green curry is rich, creamy, and packed with deep, aromatic flavors. Their stir-fried dishes are cooked to perfection, with tender meats, crisp vegetables, and sauces that burst with flavor. If you love spice, they know how to bring the heat while still keeping the dish flavorful and balanced! Beyond the amazing food, the service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend the perfect dish based on your preferences. The staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps you coming back. For anyone craving authentic, well-seasoned Thai cuisine with exceptional service, Aim Thai Restaurant is the place to go. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked!
For me and the family this was an average Thai restaurant. The servings were a little small for the price point. The flavors were good not great. The crab fried rice didn’t contain much crab. The pad see ew could use more flavor. Although the papaya salad was delicious! The parking lot is small to accommodate about 10 cars. The restaurant is dated and has about 8 tables. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.
Golden Wok
Wanted to try a new Chinese take out as my go to doesn’t deliver to my neighborhood and I wasn’t in the mood to drive far. Boy was that the wrong decision!!!! We got sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, egg rolls, & veggie lo mein. This was the worst most nasty sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever had. It tasted like it was freezer burned. Seems as if they bought it frozen already fried and then just warmed it in a microwave. The breading was soft and gross, the chicken was chewy and disgusting. The flavor was awful. The sesame chicken had good sauce but also tasted freezer burned. Did not taste fresh at all. Maybe even days old? Egg rolls were mid. Nothing special but not horrid. The veggie lo mein was okay but lacked flavor and the veggies were very mushy. It also seemed like it was not fresh, although probably the most fresh of them all. All of this was just over $50 and we are throwing over half of it away because it tasted so horrible. I’m incredibly disappointed. I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but since the place had pretty high ratings and then the quality was this bad, I’d like to steer others away from spending their money here. Waste of money & ruined our Saturday night stay at home date night.
Ordered Sweet and Sour Shrimp, lunch special. As you can see the rice and shrimp are almost a white color. Very disappointed no flavor and shrimp not cooked fully. The only thing that was good was the egg rolls that I paid extra for. I didn't feel well after eating from here.
Taste Of Korea
A Taste of Korea delivers a true five-star experience! The owner is not only fun but also incredibly attentive, making the dining experience even better. The food was absolutely amazing—authentic and full of flavor. As someone who grew up on real Asian cuisine, this meal felt like home. I tried the Korean Rice with shrimp, beef, and chicken combo—highly recommend! We also had the Bulgogi and spicy chicken, both packed with bold flavors. Even the green tea was a standout. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Wow just wow. I’ve been to this place a couple of times and it stays consistent. The food is incredible. I recommend the Soon Tofu Jjigae and the shrimp pancake for the first time you go (you won’t regret it!!) It’s a nice quiet atmosphere which I enjoy the most. And the lady that owns it is so nice! The second time I went with my boyfriend she gave us hot tea on the house! It’s something small, but it showed she recognized us! It’s also very affordable. You can get a meal for two and it’s usually no more than $30. They also come with a bunch of sides.
