Flavor House

The vegan and nonvegan options are all really good and not greasy! Honestly really good for drinking or just late night sinner. Went there half an hour before closing, the service is nice, music is really on point. Def will go back soon!

Overall, the food was not great. The “signature” dish is uninspired, and has the feel and presentation of something that could be made in a dorm. In addition, the bathrooms were filthy, and the staff attitude left much til be desired. Handing the check while we were still dining, and taking bowls as soon as the spoon gets put down are such big No-no’s.

Simon's Chinese Restaurant

First time here and the staff was super sweet and welcoming! Our server gave great recommendations and we loved everything we had! Best salt and pepper wings ever! We loved both the egg drop soup and the wonton soup, and it's a big portion even though we ordered the small size. In general their portions are huge for the price ! We will definitely be returning soon! The spicy beef fried rice isn't actually spicy, so they bring out a chili oil sauce on the side, and the beef and vegetables has a delicious sauce and a good variety of vegetables.

This very unassuming restaurant is located in a strip center across from the Jack in the box. The service was exceptional, and the food was amazing! It does appear that they have a different menu for regulars than they do for people off the street! The hot and sour soup was perfection, and the salt and pepper squid was fantastic!

A Ly Oriental Restaurant

This family-owned restaurant is awesome for both small and large groups. Their group menu has great quality and quantity. We usually order options for a couple of people less than we have, and there's still plenty of food for everyone. Their Peking duck and roasted duck are famous, but the lobster dishes are also our favorites. We ate here often, and we've never been disappointed. Friendly staff, quick service, and great value for lots of tasty food!

My family most love restaurant! I have been here so many times for the past few years with my family. The food are amazing! My family love to come here whenever we celebrate something. You never go wrong with any items here. The price is so reasonable! The service will take a bit time since they’re family owned business. Regardless, I love the food here!

East Wall Restaurant

I love exploring various restaurants to savor their unique flavors, and this one ranks among my absolute favorites. I truly wish I could award it more than five stars! The authentic Chinese cuisine here is exceptional, coming remarkably close—about 99.99%—to the genuine experience you would find in China. The service is outstanding, with attentive staff who enhance the overall dining experience. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. Plus, the cleanliness of the establishment is a significant bonus, adding to the overall appeal of this fantastic dining spot.

This is one of my favorite places for authentic, delicious Cantonese style cuisine!! The HK style sweet and sour pork is one of my go-to dishes. The servers are kind and efficient!

Feng Ling Restaurant

Love the vegetable dumplings here, all their food is good from the hot and sour soup, to egg rolls, to Singapore noodles. Got the chicken, beef, and shrimp sautéed with rice. Yum! Service good too. Order to go a lot from here, but fun to dine in as well.

This will be as detailed as I can. I love the atmosphere of the place, very good interior and sitting structure. Good for personal dining or family night outs. The service was nice, the beautiful lady that took my order was super nice, she made sure I got all my orders and that I was happy. They all seemed nice. The food was good, plus the quantity was big enough to feed me for a DAY! THE TEA WAS GREAT!, I repeat the SMOOTHIE WAS GOOD! I had a delicious time there and would definitely be stopping by again! 10/10

P.F. Chang's

If I could leave zero stars I would. Went to the galleria location and was rather satisfied went to the one on Westheimer today and I’m not surprised that no one was in there. The lo mein is so dry and tasteless almost taste freezer burnt or something. Veggie wrap lettuce wrap was pathetic…they even gave me salad dressing for the wraps and not the original sauce it comes with and most of it was tofu and my husband hates tofu so didn’t even eat it. Tofu is not fresh no way it is super dried out stuck together and everything. So disappointing for the price of what I paid I would expect much better quality of food. The only thing I would give 4 stars too is the people that greeted me on the way in to get my to go order. I won’t be returning…

I am very picky with American Chinese food, but my visit to PF Chang’s last week was rather enjoyable. The food was good (I could drink the sweet chili dipping sauce!) and the service was great, especially from my waitress, Chelsea! She was able to offer suggestions for my visit last week and for my next visit in the future.

Asian Wok

This place used to be a different restaurant. Its so much better than the old place. The food was fresh and tasty. Service was good. The place is clean . I will come here more often. I ate here again. These people are so thoughtful. They sincerely care about your experience in their restaurant!

We often eat Chinese for Thanksgiving, and found the Asian Wok just by map search. So delighted! They didn't have lunch specials because of the holiday - but the prices for the menu were still very reasonable. We had house special lo mein and the drunken pork ribs w/10 spice. Incredible!!! Will definitely be back when we are in area.

Mein

My trip down Bellaire this evening brought me to Mein and boy it was a great experience. I got there at about 6:00pm and it was already busy but we were seated immediately. The decor and theme I gotta say was picked out nicely. Lots of metal hardware and hardy wood placed throughout the room. Very cool lighting and paintings placed on the walls The restaurant is an open floor plan so it is very noisy. I would say the biggest drawback to the ambience is the chatter and busyness to it all. Not a great a sit down with candlelight and have a conversations kind of outing but nonetheless there were lots of couples there. The service was among some of the best as they were on their game tonight it seemed. Food was prepared and delivered quickly and with great presentation. I was a little disappointed with the rice portioning. Not sure if it was because the scoop was small but I eat a lot of rice and ordered 4 rice servers just for myself. See photo below for details. If you like rice served with your dishes, order lots of side rices. The plates we ordered were XO Fish Filet, Shaking Chicken, Charsui, and Lava Toast. the XO was better prepared than most other restaurants as the breaded fish was not overly cooked and breaded. The Charsui was my favorite of the night and was delicious. Recommend this dish. It is more of an appetizer portion size but the Shaking chicken was a great contrast between the two. Overall, wonderful flavor and great service! Would recommend!

Awesome food. We love the shaking tofu, and salt pepper squid. Great food is matched with great service. Drinks were refilled when needed and our server made sure our orders came out good.

Fung's Kitchen

We arrived with six people, excited for the king crab feast for our group. We pointed it out on the menu, but somehow the waiter tried to convince us to order just the king crab two ways, which was pricier than the feast option. Thankfully, we caught her before she had the crab cooked. The food was solid, easily a 4 out of 5. Our favorites were the Lobster Mountain and the steamed garlic sauce king crab legs. The quail was surprisingly good, even though it looked a bit dry. The soup didn't quite live up to expectations, and for some reason, we never received our dessert at the end of the meal. Service was inconsistent. The initial server was rather frustrating, repeatedly insisting we wanted the two-way Alaskan king crab instead of the feast. It was clear that we would pay the same amount for much less food. She also hardly refilled our water unless we flagged her down. Fortunately, we eventually had a wonderful older gentleman attend to us, and he was incredibly friendly. I would definitely return, but if I ended up with the same server, I'd think twice. Overall, the prices were justified considering the amount of food we received.

I recently dined at Fung’s Kitchen in Houston, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The restaurant boasts an impressively large dining space, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our meal went smoothly. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly their "Lobster Mountain" dish, which consisted of six perfectly prepared lobsters. The presentation was stunning, and the flavors were out of this world. If you're a seafood lover, this is a must-try! In addition to the Lobster Mountain, the dim sum offerings were phenomenal. Each dish, from the shrimp dumplings to the pork buns, was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The variety available on the dim sum carts is extensive, offering something for everyone. The only downside was the very crowded parking lot

Yantze

Surprisingly good. Now the restaurant isn’t much to look at inside, but the service is good. The menu is not the biggest but on the plus side the food arrives super quick and the quantity and quality was sensible along with the cost. In summary, if you need a quick reliable meal that’s well priced and better sized, this place will not let you down.

Very nice experience here. The employees are super friendly and easy to communicate with. I will say it is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but no real complaints. I had the General Tao's Chicken. The young lady warned me that it was spicy. I will say that it was not spicy at all. I think many places have just gotten used to spicy for Americans versus spicy for Chinese. The flavors were good despite this and the service was super fast. My wife is Chinese and she was very happy with everything. Would recommend Yantze to anyone but it is not for those seeking a more formal experience. The prices were very reasonable.

Mala Sichuan Bistro

1810reviews

5 stars for the best Sichuan food that I have had in the US. Crispy and spicy chicken, Mala pot roast fish, jiggling pork, water boiled fish are some of the best. I have been to some top rated Sichuan places in NYC and SF, and they could not hold a candle. Service is always good. They can use the money that they make to update the interior again. It looks like that is due. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite eatery in Houston.

This restaurant has high CP value. All their dishes are spicy and each dish has their individual flavor. I love their deep fry pig intestine. Some of the dishes are very spicy, so ask them when ordering. Their pricing for each of their dishes are very reasonable.

One Dragon

Blessed by God, to have this gracious meal. This establishment was recommended to me by my godfather. The soup dumplings had a fine thin skin with plenty of broth. I recommend, Scallion pancakes, stir fried green beans, the soup dumplings, and braised pork.

Overall, they had pretty decent Shanghai-style cuisine. The eight of us ordered a bunch of dishes for dinner, some of them like the Shanghai smoked fish were flavorful but some of them weren't to be recommended like the tender sweet & sour pork ribs (meat was not tender but dry). And the portion wasn't big enough.
