I always order ahead or go through the drive thru it's quicker, and if you can manage to pick up your order via drive thru, I'd recommend that! Other than that, great food great service (slower inside) šŸ™„ but that's it's only downfall. I was 15 minutes late picking up my food and it was still hot, so that gets 5 stars in my book! Photo (my togo order properly secure and wrapped!)

Loved the Cub reference in the menu. The food was fresh, the staff was really polite. We order the bowl meals and it was the perfect size without been too much. The rangoons were really crispy. While the employee was cleaning the table next to us, she asked us how everything was doing, and I asked for a lid and they brought it over along with a bag for me. The restaurant is really nice, and new and fancy. It also has drive thru. And they welcome you as soon as you enter.

I’m not a buffet guy! Usually too messy, chaotic, and just not my thing. But I got invited to a graduation luncheon at China Cafe and ended up really enjoying it. This buffet was much cleaner and more organized than most I’ve been to. The food? Solid. The tonkatsu was crispy and flavorful, and the grilled meats—chicken teriyaki, BBQ pork, and pork ribs—were absolutely on point. I skipped the rice (protein real estate is precious) and loaded up on all the good stuff. Our waitress was incredible! She handled our large party solo, kept everything running smoothly, and never missed a beat. Fair play to her! Overall, a pleasant experience. If you like buffets—or even if you usually don’t—China Cafe is worth checking out.

This food was really amazing !! It was super tasty nice and hot and the dessert option was fantastic I definitely recommend this and their service is amazing too

Stopped by today for the 1st time to give this place a try. Employees were friendly and helpful. The servings were very generous and the prices were excellent. We enjoyed our food and the establishment. We will definitely be back.

Good customer service. The food was good. Hot. There was a lot of food to choose from. All the trays were food. Lobby was cleaned. There's free soup and fruit. The place just needed a little bit of more lighting inside. Parking lot is not too big. A really good and useful and important thing is that it has outlets to charge ur electronics.

The staff was kind, the restaurant was a vibe and man, the food was so good!!!! I tried the cucumber salad- very flavorful (but still very refreshing!) The veggie crispy spring rolls - crisped to perfection! The lettuce wraps- so good, it was completely eaten before I could get a pic! Definitely my fave appetizer of the night! 10/10 highly recommend! As a plant based girlie, I tried the fried rice (without egg/ green onion). I did add some of the sesame sauce from the cucumber salad on top, which made it chefs kiss to the power of 2! This was my first time here and I’m obsessed. For 3 people, 4 appetizers, 3 drinks, 3 entrees, and 2 soups, it was $101! That’s not bad pricing at all!! (Yea, we’re big backs)

The food was good as usual, this is more about the impeccable service. I always appreciate an attentive server. We had: 1. Pork dumplings 2. Artichokes 3. Orange chicken 4. Fried shrimp 5. White rice

Most of there meals are tasty I'm a fan of there general taos chicken and fried rice with a side of chicken dumplings you won't get a better deal than here I take my gf atleast once a week here

I bought a 3 entree plate and asked for general chicken and grilled teriyaki and grilled jalapeƱo chicken. Tell me why every thing is fried not grilled I only noticed once I was home such a disappointment .

3•22•25 never ceases to dissapoint always on par great food & service and flavors are distinguished i ordered the triple plate bit spicey but delicious and hubby ordered the Chicken pansit was good but best is the original pansit as it is made. Customer service is always nice they check up on you frequently and refills so it's nice to see that. I recommend this restaurant very good verses others food taste the same regardless what you order but here, it's great it's a nice choice and awesome meal and for me it's worth the drive I drive about 1 hour and 10min just to get here. But will continue if service and food stays the same. Thank you chopstix. 2•17•25 we decided to come back we came b4 this date but I reordered the Pansi which was awesome but this time I ordered the Chicken Almond and husband ordered the Beef Jalapeno man both dishes well served and super delicious I do recommend this hidden Gem. Awesome people are very hospitable. All 3X's I've been here service is always great. Will be returning if I'm in the neighborhood. Great eats. 1/2025 I finally found a good Chinese restaurant because here in the valley closer to brownsville, you are not gonna find one. They are either all related and same dish and flavor to most. This one is not related to the one in brownsville chop sticks. I really recommend it here it is super busy. There are a lot of take outs. anyways, our service was awesome. Our waiter shouted out to Alex. He was very attentive and very hospitable, glad he explained what I was looking for. Whatever I liked about this place was their food. You can actually taste everything on the plate vs. When everything is over empowered by whatever sauce they use. Here it is made nicely and delish. I have no complaints but to come and visit and try it you will not regret it. My husband ordered the Chicken jalapeno plate, and I got the pansi combination plate very good and well served. Prices are pretty decent, and serving is nice. We will return again when we are here in this area. Meanwhile, Chop Stix, thank you so much for our delicious meals. Very happy customer.

The service was decent. This was my first time trying this place since I’m new to the area. I ordered to go and was shocked when I got home to see my sisters plate was without her rice nor vegetables. My plate was ok but the chicken was just huge chunks. I ended up just eating the rice :( it’s sad to say will not be going back

I have been a patron of DĆa Tung in Mission, TX for over 10yrs. BEST CHINESE FOOD IN RGV! They recently revamped their restaurant with new tables and dishes. The Atmosphere and Ambiance is Great. Service is Great. Food is EXCELLENT! I had Kung Pao Beef, Beef and Broccoli, Fried Dumplings, & Fried Wontons. I also had had Hot&Sour Soup but finished it before I took a pic šŸ˜‹! Also dinner portions can feed easily feed 3 people per plate ordered. They come with your choice of fried or steamed rice. Order the egg rolls they are phenomenal.

My experience was terrible. The meat was undercooked, which completely ruined my meal—I couldn’t eat the rest. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he seemed indifferent, as if it wasn’t a big deal. They didn’t offer any kind of discount—not that I would have accepted, but the gesture would have been appreciated. Instead, all I got was, ā€˜We told the cook already.’ Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

4-22-25 Wife and I gave this location a try after a few problems with another. Food was hot and fresh, and we could see them preparing more in the back as we ordered. I had Kung Pao Chicken bowl, wife had String Bean Chicken bowl, both with rice. She asked for and received 4 packs of sweet and sour sauce, I got teriyaki sauce. Service could be a bit friendlier, but the food is very good for the price

Going through drive through ordered plate of teriyaki chicken. Had to repeat myself several times. No teriyaki sauce. Called was told I had to ask for teriyaki sauce and was offered 10% off next order. Yet they included soy sauce and chili sauce... šŸ¤”. How about I just never return.

Food is always hot, tasty and delivered FAST! Pork dumplings, either steamed or pan fried, are a great starter. The House Wonton soup is full of flavor, serving sizes are more than generous. Great place for weeknights when you just don't feel like cooking.

Food portions are perfect. Prices are very reasonable. Cleanliness is top notch. Waiters..... Let's move on to the food, packed with authentic flavor and not a ton of breading you will be delighted knowing your actually getting a piece of meat instead a piece of fried breading. The jalapeno chicken has a slow creeping heat that is not overpowering. Value can not be beat and flavor is amazing.

Not good. I had high hopes when I opted to go here for lunch today since it’s been at this location for so long, but it was not. The beef and broccoli left me thinking ā€œwhere’s the beef?ā€ and the shrimp cheese puffs were the right color, but they were rubbery and the inside was lukewarm. Save your $10 and go down the street to Pho Yen where the real deliciousness is.

Legitimately the WORST chinese food I've ever had the displeasure of stumbling into. I had ordered the fried biscuits and was told they didn't have it, which is wild to me judging by the fact that the biscuits in the photos are premade. How do you not have that? I was told I couldn't refund that item, and she was going to give me three egg rolls as a replacement. I didn't want to accept but the alternative was starting my search for food over again so I just said sure. Then I received my order. MY FOOD WAS RANCID AND SPOILED I opened the bag and was immediately hit with a wave of off scents. If I wasn't certified to run a kitchen I wouldn't have been sure, but I knew the smell from cleaning kitchens I ran. It was rot and spoil. My rice was old, crunchy. As someone who makes fried rice regularly I know that the texture I received for my white rice is because it was day old rice they just reheated. LIST OF AFFECTED ITEMS: FRIED RICE(SHRIMP) EGG ROLLS(CABBAGE) ORANGE CHICKEN(POULTRY) SESAME CHICKEN(POULTRY) So I decided to put my money where my mouth is. I ate a bit of it. The chicken was dry and tasted off but was covered in sauce so it was hard to place, regardless it was disappointing at best and they need to change their oil. The eggrolls were definitely off, the cabbage inside was ruined, someone either let them sit or left them out of the freezer. And the shrimp in my fried rice was absolutely spoiled. To have this degree of spoil your refrigeration system is faulty; either on the line, or in deep storage. So many other before me have said similar things. Heed my warning. Don't eat here.
