Tasty China

201reviews

This is a great place for food and entertainment… they offer live music and ball dance with live musician playing…one of the very few places open to 2am in the morning so must visit if you are hanging out that late

Egg rolls I had for an appetizer are definitely in my favs of all time. Orange chicken was good in portion and taste could have used just a little bit of a kick. Showed up at an off time which can often result in poor service but it was very good in this case, including the hostess or maybe owner stopping by to chat about the book I was reading. Told my friend who likes Chinese and we will be back next time he comes through to go out to dinner

Royal Sichuan

My favorite dishes here are the fried chicken in chili, cumin lamb, Sichuan green beans (so crunchy and deliciously garlicky), and cong xin cai (water spinach, I think). I also like their fish in “fire sauce”— which is great for sharing. (Their portions in general are suited for sharing!) The service was quick and water was frequently filled. Highlight—Green beans so good I crave them specifically.

Another solid Chinese restaurant for the Dfw area. They specialize in sichuan food so I’d stick to the spicy dishes.

Daily Combo Chinese Fast Food Sushi Bar

I always but I never made a review first of all I love the boba and the sushi and the bento box ! Tasty. Yumm

My favorite Chinese food in garland! And it's fast food. The employees are nice and the food is good. I haven't tried their sushi yet but I plan to!

Moon Wok

I had a craving chicken fried rice so I stopped in Moon Wok. The atmosphere or vibe seems a little off, but the value, quality, and portion size quickly make up for it. I ordered the lunch special chicken fried rice that included an egg roll. I believe the price was right around $10. I was shocked on how much food came out on the plate. I was only able to eat about half of the rice and the egg roll. Took home enough for lunch the next day. The menu is simple and includes all of the expected Chinese classics. Counter service was simple and quick. My meal was prepared on order and served hot and fresh in just a few minutes. Definitely adding this place to my lunch rotation.

I recently moved & this was the 2nd Chinese food I tried. It tastes way better than the fortune house restaurant I tried. I got the chicken & broccoli from here, 9/10

Spice Wok Dallas

Timings 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Tuesday closed. The food portions are nice and the place is very clean. The servers are very professional and gave very good service. The dishes are very reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this place for Indo Chinese food.

Authentic Chinese food! It was a little on the sweeter side for us, but overall decent food! We were told medium is spicy, but next time will probably ask for a higher spice level. Few things to consider - the restaurant has a max occupancy of 48 people. You may encounter a wait, especially during the weekend. We encounter long wait time. Plan ahead. I wish we ordered the noodles… I noticed everyone ordered it. The hot and sour soup was on point. Very kind staff. Great try for halal restaurant!

Canton Chinese Restaurant

Really fantastic Chinese food. Huge menu with familiar favorites as well as a big selection of more authentic dishes. We ordered the whole lobster with ginger and scallion (yum!!), squid/prawns/scallops with Chinese broccoli, crab and shrimp soup, and sweet & sour chicken (surprisingly delicious and fresh tasting!). Surprised to read other reviews about bad service (maybe some of us need to be more understanding of different cultures and that not everyone needs to hover over us all through a meal??) but we found everyone here very welcoming. Our waiter even did the unheard of and told me we might be ordering too much food and recommended cutting a dish, which we did - I got too excited by all the options!) We took my Dad, who grew up in Richardson in the 50s/60s and he swears this restaurant is in the same building that used to house the Dairy Queen where he and his friends would hang out as teenagers! Affordable, delicious and we’ll definitely be back!

It was delicious. Definitely loved the beef noodles, one portion was too much for two people. I had tried lobster with salted eggs🦞 served hot and seasoning well, it was around 38$ for that one. I should call 2-3 dishes. Stop by first time read the previous review and gave it a try. Worth the time and experience.

Chopstick Express

Today was my first time eating from here! It was a 10/10 and will be returning again! The food was delicious. I got combination lo mein with mushrooms my boyfriend got the orange chicken. He couldn’t even finish it all because the portions were so big! The prices were very fair.

I used to frequent this restaurant a lot when I worked at the hospital close by. I was always happy with the food and service. My last two visits I have been really disappointed. I did like that they gave us an eggroll with our entree, and they were good. The rest of the food was not. We got three sushi rolls and three entrees. The sushi tasted old, the sesame chicken was over fried and really hard to cut and chew, and it only had sauce on half of it. There was barely any chicken in the teriyaki chicken. It was mostly greenery filler.

DFW China Town

I’m not sure why people recommended Richardson Chinatown to us—it’s just a single row of stores with not much else to see. Honestly, it was a bit of a disappointment. If you’re from out of town, I wouldn’t go out of your way to visit, but if you happen to be passing by, it might be worth a quick stop to explore. The highlight for us was the 85°C Bakery, which was nice. That said, the area felt a bit unkempt and could use some upkeep.

Some great shops, restaurants, bakery and a grocery store all located within walking distance here. We enjoyed the music and other activities that were going on during our visit We ate at the Korean Tofu Restaurant, bought breads at the bakery and visited the grocery store.

Custer Wok

Great food, exactly what you want/expect. Great prices, so nice, and they’re super fast with delivery. I’ve ordered from them probably 5-10 times and have never been disappointed :)

The food is actually so good. Recommend the chicken lo mein. I got an entire plate for such a good price. It’s the perfect hole in the wall family style restaurant. If you want good and authentic. Go here.

Tasty Asia Restaurant

This was such a letdown. The menu looked promising so I decided to stop by and try the food. The restaurant itself is dirty but the staff was nice. I ordered the seafood noodle soup and was completely disappointed. It did not have any flavor. I tried adding spice and sauce but nothing helped. The seafood itself tasted spoiled, the shrimp were dirty, the veggies were wilted and brown and the noodles were old and just did not work with that type of soup. I do not recommend this place. There are many other Asian places around there....go there instead

Food is amazing! Please consider supporting this mom and pop's restaurant! I got the stir fried flat noodle with chicken and the shaking beef and passionfruit tea.

First Chinese BBQ - Richardson

Not sure why people review this bad but while no Chinese restaurant in Dallas compares to Asia. If you want good Cantonese food this is a great spot. The orange chicken is killer and soup fish maw is great. The beef with tofu is super good. The fish with tofu is alright. Tried and true Chinese place probably 8.5/10 for Dallas area. 6/10 if we compare to Asia though

Incredibly authentic Cantonese-style dishes! It is cash only, so you must plan for that beforehand. The flavor of each dish was amazing. My parents are Chinese immigrants and demand authenticity when it comes to their food, like we’ve found in LA and Chicago! This place delivers.

Jeng Chi Restaurant

This place is a GEM! Handmade dumplings 🥟 are superb! Orange beef was so tender I could cut it with a fork. Hot and sour soup was the best I have ever had. Seaweed salad was definitely different than I’ve ever had. Crab rangoons had blue crab and the dipping sauce was excellent. I loved being able to watch them make the dumplings by hand. Very clean, great service and definitely worth every dime.

5 STARS There's usually always a 30-45 min wait during the weekends, but that's a good thing. This is one of our favorite spots and we crave it about every month. Lol I love their Mapo Tofu (the best mapo tofu) and their Sweet & Sour Chicken. They specialize in dumplings so check them out too. Great for large party families and usually open during the holidays.
