Las Ramadas Mexican Grill & Bar
Excellent spot đ and the food was on point đ for real. I just moved to the area, but I might have just found my new favorite spot... service was extra friendly the food was delicious and the beer was ice cold âïž a must try if in the area
Las Ramadas Mexican Grill and Bar offers a pleasant dining experience with a few notable highlights and a few letdowns. Unfortunately, the salsa served with the chips tasted more like canned tomato sauce than a fresh, zesty dip. I was drawn here by Google Maps claiming they served pozole, but to my disappointment, it wasnât on the menu. This is more of a Tex-Mex spot rather than an authentic Mexican eatery. The green sauce I saw in the pictures was available but not served unless specifically requested. It was a mild avocado salsa with minimal heat, suitable for those who prefer a subtler flavor. On the positive side, the carne guisada was deliciously tender, and the taco salad in a tortilla shell bowl was mostly enjoyable, although the frijoles at the bottom were less impressive. The decor is a standout feature, with beautifully carved chairs and a vibrant mural depicting a Mexican landscape. This restaurant seems best suited for those who prefer milder flavors. I give it 4.5 stars overall. However, Iâm deducting a star from Google for misleading information about the pozole.
Chycho's Pollos Al Carbon Tacos
The food is always decent (average) and good quality definitely. Some of the dishes are better than others though. Corn tortillas are excellent đ enchiladas and quesabirria are good. Drinks are good. Atmosphere is good and good music. It's local and fairly priced and the service is always good so we eat here a lot even though it's not the best IMO
Chychoâs Pollos Al Carbon Tacos â My Absolute Favorite Spot! Listen, if you havenât been to Chychoâs Pollos Al Carbon Tacos, you are seriously missing out! This place is hands down one of my favorite spots to grab amazing, flavorful food, and itâs an experience all on its own. I can go on and on about all the reasons I love it, but let me break it down for you. First off, the customer service is top-notch. You ever have one of those days where you donât feel like getting out of the car? No problemâthey come right up to your window and take your order while you chill in the parking lot. Itâs the little things like that that make me keep coming back. Theyâre always friendly, welcoming, and quick, which makes the whole experience even better. Now, letâs talk about the food. Oh my gosh, where do I even start? The tacos are insane! You can literally taste that smoky, grilled perfection in every bite. The al pastor tacos? Absolute heavenâjuicy, seasoned perfectly, and that little bit of char takes them over the top. The fajita tacos? That bold, mesquite-grilled flavor makes them downright addictive. And donât even get me started on the pollo al carbonâtender, juicy, and full of flavor. If you love real, authentic tacos, this is where you need to be. And because they really know what theyâre doing, they also have some of the best fruit platters, sprinkled with TajĂn for that perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Itâs the kind of refreshing treat that just hits different, especially on a hot day. The vibe here is just as good as the food. Itâs casual, laid-back, and has that hidden gem feelâyou know, the kind of place only the real food lovers know about. Whether youâre eating in the car, hanging under the pavilion, or grabbing your order to go, itâs the kind of spot that makes you feel at home. And letâs talk about prices! What?! You can fill up without breaking the bank, and with the quality of the food, it feels like youâre getting way more than what you pay for. Bottom lineâChychoâs is THAT place. If you havenât tried it yet, do yourself a favor and go. This is the kind of place that deserves to be packed all the time because itâs just that good. Seriously, stop sleeping on it and go get yourself some tacos! Youâll thank me later.
Big Panda
Such a good experience! The restaurant was clean, and not just the tables, but the restroom as well. When it came to ordering the menu was pretty straightforward and the portions are really good. Iâm actually really surprised at how packed the plates were. Two combos each that consist of three entries, one appetizer, a drink, plus tip came out to $32 is so affordable! Hidden gem with crazy potential! (This would be the ideal spot if they were to also sell Bobaâs in the future)
This has to be the best $9 I've ever spent on quick takeout. I don't have any complaints. Portions are awesome and food is delicious; vegetables had good crunch, Hunan chicken was good spicy.
Ginger
We had a great dinner here. The food was really good, drinks were good too. Service was great and food came out quickly. The restaurant was well decorated for Christmas and has nice music playing quietly in the background. It was very clean. I would definitely recommend trying Ginger
Cute little place. Had lunch here as a solo date. The service was good. I had Japanese fried rice and a hot tea on this rainy day. Overall if I lived closer Iâd come here often. Seems like a good place for lunch dates or meetings.
Vn'Wich Cafe
We have been a customer for almost 3 years now and we have always loved their food. I have recommended their food to many of my coworkers and family. Today we had two issues that made us change our mind about the restaurant. First issue we had was with their Lean Brisket Pho bowl. The meat had more fat than meat. We asked to get something else instead and the manager/owner came to talk to us about it and suggest that we ask for âlean onlyâ next time with no fat and then they gave us a small bowl with their âRare Meat Phoâ. We agree to her suggestion and thought she was right about asked for lean meat only but who wouldâve thought about that anyways when theyâre hungry right? Second issue was that the small bowl they served had a hair around an onion. We notified them again and told the cashier that we just wanted them to be aware. She grabbed a little plate we had with the hair on it to bring it back to the kitchen and show her manager/owner and then came back to ask what we wanted to do. I asked her kindly just to get the Pho bowl money refunded. She told me to meet her at the register and while I was getting my refund the manager/owner approached me and said âMAKE SURE YOU DONâT COME BACK INTO MY STORE YOUâRE TOO MUCH PROBLEMâ. I didnât argue anything back because we are not the problematic type of people so I kindly said âOk thank you maâamâ got my refund and left with my wife. These are the type of issues that cause customers to get turned away. Lack of professionalism, cleanliness and customer service. And no maâam I will make sure that I donât come back and will make sure to inform others about this particular issue to prevent them from going through what you made us experience. Good luck with your restaurant!
I had their ramen. Came out super hot, but lacking in ingredients. There were only 5 really thin pieces of beef. It was 99% broth. I enjoyed it, it just left me hungry and wanting more
China Kitchen
Need to get lunch and our kids love Chinese food. Looked it up and this place showed 4 plus stars. Went in a wall full of dishes, then drinks tables to eat at. People were in and out. Got the food, it was yummy. We all didnât have time to talk it was so good! Would recommend to try it.
My first time trying the food and I am satisfied! I got the boneless spare rib combo with veggie fried rice and fried dumplings. They are not stingy at all with their servings which I appreciate because my son keeps returning to my plate. The lady was also very lovely. I definitely will be returning to try more
Brother's Seafood
Yesterday, my wife and I were both working near The Woodlands and got stuck in 5 o'clock traffic on the way home. So we decided to stop and eat somewhere nearby. We searched Google for crawfish and found this hidden gem! We ordered boiled crawfish, shrimp, crab legs, boiled eggs, and potatoes, "all spicy" and loved the flavors. If we're ever in the area again, weâre definitely coming. A must-try spot!
I got the Brother's Special Louisiana Fried Rice which was interesting compared to most Fried rice dishes I've had. It wasn't bad just different in taste. Still good enough to enjoy. However, the Crab Sauce was overly salted.
Caribbean Hotpot Grill
This review is based off of today's order. Usually I have the stewed chicken and it is great. The soup was good; however, the chicken patty is not good at all. It was either old or burnt, it was definitely waste of money.
First time eating here and it was amazing! Me and my bestfriend ordered quite a bit to get a taste of it and nothing disappointed. We couldn't even wait to go home we dug right in. The curry chicken was so tender and flavorful it was honestly our favorite. The plantain and cabbage that came with every plate was delicious. The jerk chicken was perfect the tang the spice and everything nice came along beautifully. The beef patty and coco bread was absolutely tasteful it was the first thing gone! I've had some bad ox tails but these were so soft, smothered in sauce and just delicious. Will be back for more and could not recommend enough! Service is okay but the food is worth it.
Rights Market
This place is great! I always order pizza and itâs always consistent unlike most most pizza establishments. Always very clean and has very helpful and friendly staff. And yes I sneaked a bite ; )
Very friendly cashier! Lots to choose from!
Pho Houston
Oh my God I have been coming here for about a year 1/2. They never fail, if you come during lunch hours less then 6 mins your food is on your table. The taste is so delicious and the price for the size of pho is on point. $13 for regular and $16 for jumbo. They also sale other dishes.
Went here for the 1st time today with my Boss & Co-worker. The atmosphere was very friendly and our server was very attentive to our food request. The food came out rather quick and the taste was on point. I had the Steak & Brisket Pho w/Beef Broth & a Thai Tea. The bowl size was perfect and I left with barely any room left in my belly. Definitely worth giving it a shot and will be coming back for some more for sure. Thank you!
WOK & ROLL Chinese and Sushi Restaurant
Stop by for lunch and it was ok, service and atmosphere was great, food portions was good, price is normal however the taste is little off. 1 hot & sour soup had sugar in it, real hot & sour should be hot and sour so for me that wonât do but the soup came out hot . 2 the egg roll was ok, little blend on the side and if Iâm guessing that world be frozen package not made fresh. 3 had the chicken and vegetables in white sauce. Food was temperature hot and the chicken is very tender but again its flavor is blend. Over all it was not bad would I come back again yes I would try again. Also when I got serve before the soup, they provide fried noodle and that is why I give a 4 star, that one star made the difference and it was a nice touch. Many Chinese restaurants donât provide that anymore.
Hey everyone, this was my first time trying this spot since moving to the Spring area and I must sayâŠ.. It was delicious and hit the SPOT! It was affordable for 3 people, they have a wide variety of Chinese food and sushi to choose from on their menu. Service was amazing, my Son has an egg allergy and Usen and Jessie always kept coming back and informing us what had egg in it and even offered options that didnât have eggs or items to substitute. Highly recommend if you live in the area.
Fish Place
My mom and sister placed a Door Dash pickup order at this location because they were impressed with the customer service and the quality of the food. This is my first time here so I was skeptical when I saw that it was connected to a gas station but I was willing to give it a try and they did not disappoint. I tried the fried catfish, French fries, and the hush puppies and everything was delicious and well seasoned. This location is out of the way to travel to but I will say that itâs well worth it. The customer service and environment was not all that welcoming but the representative was nice enough.
Surprisingly good! The prices were honestly very good for the portion sizes. The fried shrimp is pretty average, and the slaw overly sweet, but the gumbo and hush puppies were quite satisfying. Of particular note are the fried fish fillets. They are cooked VERY well. The fish was nowhere near overcooked, with plenty of flake and moisture, but the crust was so crispy even after sitting in the car for 10 minutes of delivery. This is honestly very impressive, and I haven't had many places pull that off, much less a simple take out counter. If you're looking for a satisfying and affordable meal Fish Place is sincerely a really great option.
