Thai Garlic & Sushi
Saw this restaurant driving down 1960 one day. Looked up reviews and they were great. Came for lunch with my boyfriend yesterday and they did not dissapoint. Small place, quiet and clean. Our server was so polite. Did not rush us and was so nice and soft spoken. Very welcoming. My boyfriend had the drunken noodles with shrimp. He loved them. They ask what spice level you would like (1-5). He picked 4đ¶ïžđ¶ïžđ¶ïžđ¶ïž and loved it. He said it was flavorful not just masked in spice. I had the chicken pad Thai and it was also wonderful! The food was fresh and cooked to order. We tried the crab rangoons and while they werenât our favoriteâŠthey were fresh. The lunch special was a good portion and comes with a vegetable spring roll and miso soup or salad. All of it was delicious. We will be going again! Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner with friends.
Pretty good thai and sushi place for a typical hole in the wall place inside the sun club shopping center. This used to yummy, then better than yummy and now thai garlic. The appetizer sampler platter was good and thai tea was a bit light but still good. Overall not amazing food but well worth visit. Also they doing 10% off for their grand opening.
Hunan Cafe
My partner and I drove 40 mins to try West African cuisine after seeing some videos on it and being curious. We were nervous at first, but the owner and associates were warm and welcoming. They let us sample the soups before ordering, and offered advice on the menu. The food was flavorful and the portions were great. Everyone was so nice, it definitely felt like a family environment. Elizabeth, the chef, made sure to check on us and ask about our experience. We are so happy that we decided to make the drive to try out a new cuisine! We definitely will be back to try some new dishes. If youâre considering Hunan Cafe, you should go for it! â€ïž
We had the snails, fufu and okra soup, jollarice with plaintains and chicken. Superb! The most friendly and helpful wait staff who explained everything and made great recommendations since it was our first time. We WILL BE BACKâ€ïž
De Hoang Duy
This restaurant is the best place for goat dishes "DĂȘ" in the Houston area, hands down. DĂȘ háș„p, nưá»ng, dá»i chiĂȘn, sưá»n nưá»ng, and láș©u. It's all super tasty, and the portions are large. Whenever we play soccer in the North45 area, we always eat here. We've never been disappointed!
Came into their restaurant 9 months pregnant with my newly potty trained 3 year old, told the owner i was paying for a Meal but wanted to use their restroom for my 3 year old..was told flat out NO WE DON'T DO THAT, RUDLEY! I said so paying customers cant use the restroom??? Let's just say they didn't get my business and will never ever get it!!! Idc how good their food I'm big on customer service! How dare they treat a paying customer with no respect!!!!
Los Lagos
Bad service. 40+ minutes for food to arrive. Had to go to the front to pay since they didnât come out with the check. They donât attend to the diners. The food was terrible aswell.
My reviews is about ethics and integrity. I order a Appetizer plate call Pastelitos. The order comes with 3 Pastelitos either with ground beef or chicken. I received my order late anyways was not a appetizer anymore, one red flag. I choose ground beef, and when I received it, I was expecting to get juicy flavor of ground beef. But I was wrong. I got a pallet taste of just potatoes. I told the waitress and showed her that there was no ground beef. She just laughed and left. I feel That this place has poor ethics and integrity. No customer service whatsoever or even gave me explanation of what happened but they took my $5.99 . Never again will I come to this place nor will I recommend people to go their. You are not getting what you pay for.
Caribbean Hotpot Grill
Everything was immaculate service was fast food was hot and so flavorful chefs kiss good I had read a review before I went just because I had not been there in a while and it said the stew chicken was dry EXCUSE ME!! check them photos dry where Thanks ya'll it hit da Spot I had the ox tails and stew chicken
My husband I wanted to eat rotis today, but the Trinidadian lady who normally prepares them was resting today so we took a chicken stew and a jerk chicken. The stew was absolutely de-li-cious and so tender, waohhh! I loved the jerk, it was definitively hot and the chicken ess flavorful! Great experience! The atmosphere of the place is ok. Colors inside are warm and welcoming, probably even more when the room is full. In effect, there was just a handfull of people, I guess the reason was due to the heavy rain outside and it was just before end of the mass. It looked a bit empty , but sincerely the staff was lovely, and it was nice to listen to Bob Marley (whose face is painted on a wall of the unique room). There are many tables with comfy seats, but if one prefers, there is also a big bar in the corner. They have cocktails and other things non alcoholic. Like in many other places in the US, food is served in 1 way packaging/styrofoam clamshell with 1 plastic fork and paper napkins. Water bottles are in plastic and to be bought at the cashier. Let us hope one day we will all become planet friendly to ensure our kids and all living creatures a (better) future. I recommend this place, the tasty food, the welcoming, and its prices. There is plenty of parking outside.
Tao Ngá» Restaurant
â Delicious Chinese-Vietnamese dishes such as shrimp fried rice, chicken rice with scallions and ginger, and beef hor fun! Lobster was also fresh and perfectly cooked! â Quick and efficient service â Lots of parking space
Small place but the atmosphere is pretty good on a Sunday night. Service was great as everything was prompt and handled well. Whole meal for my family came out to be $173.38 with my family of 5. The menu had updated prices with stickers over the original price. Didnât get the pictures though. Ordered a bit too much since we had to go boxes. Besides Thai tea and the special dessert (che dac biet) which was amazing, everything that we ordered was good but not outstanding - let me explain. The vermicelli with pork and egg roll had a nice portion so Iâm glad about that. Egg rolls are crunchy and had great flavor alongside the pork. The peanuts, some lettuce on the bottom, and the nuoc mam given enhances the dish by a lot. 5/5 The salted baked squid had a nice crunchy, salty texture. Nothing wrong with the squid and the batter. Would need to eat this with some other dish. 4/5 Onto the Yang Chow fried rice with meat (com chien duong chau). Now with the fried rice they made, they were mediocre at best. Couldnât even taste the meat in the fried rice. Had to add some squid to make it taste better even with the shrimp in it. 3/5 The marinated steamed chicken has amazing flavor with the lemongrass on the side and the texture of the chicken is soft. Pretty much expected 5/5. Just be careful eating around the bones. The pan noodle seafood (mi xao gion do bien) and the crispy egg noodle seafood (mi xao mem do bien) had this sauce that didnât taste nice. There wasnât a difference between these two besides the texture of the noodles. There was vegetables and seafood that were great additions. Really heavy on the umami though. 3/5 Now for my family who ordered separate: the rice with pork, sunny side egg, and an egg cake (com bi thit nuong cha hot ga). My little brother ate it all so Iâm sure he loves it. No complaints. 5/5 My father got the hu tieu mi nuoc. Said he likes it so 5/5. Overall 4/5. Would I go back? Only if my family decides to. Not a place to visit regularly because of prices.
Nara Thai
The food was average at best. The crab wontons were the worst I've ever had. The wonton wrapper tasted like phyllo dough for pastries. The cream cheese had an odd texture and not much crab flavor. I got a level 2 spice level of the chicken pad Thai and should have done at least a 3. Not spicy at all. Lots of carrots but not much tamarind flavor. The Tom kha was good, but the flavors could have been stronger.
LOVED OUR VISIT!! We were craving Thai and wanted to try this spot as it looked yummy. We made a great choice! The food was delicious! The soup was to die for! Service was great. They have lunch specials till 3pm on weekdays and happy hour starting at 4. Definitely going back to visit! So happy I found this place so close to home! My mouth was still watering after I was done and super full! YUMMM
Pho Hang & Grill
For starters the food is top notch & flavorful, the prices are on point for the amount of food you get, & the waitress greeted us with a nice smile đ. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend 10 out of 10! My lunch crew and I will definitely be back!
Great place. Got a chicken sandwich cause im not a fan of pho like my bf is and they gave 2 walmart thin slices of chicken not worth the price. The bread tho! Good stuff. I shouldnt be more excited for bread than the ingredients. Good none the less but not worth the price. He loves the pho tho we have been a few times I usually dont order. Oh and the rice rolls are top die for i fought him over the last bite those are great!
Tai Kee
Authentic but inviting Vietnamese restaurant with classic options but great variety outside of Vietnamese cuisine. Their pork vermicelli bowl was perfectly tender and flavorful, and they had a good appetizer list as well. Definitely worth trying, and also making a regular spot if you enjoy Asian food. Price is excellent and lots of seating. Staff is very courteous and speaks both English and Vietnamese.
I was surprised to find such a good restaurant in the North West. It was really clean and the owner was very polite and welcoming. I ordered a plate of vegetarian crispy noodles, because today was Ash Wednesday. I wanted a 100% vegan meal. And you know what, it was the best plate of noodles I have ever had. I think you should come here and try it, you will find a delicious dish to fill your hungry stomach. I want to give this restaurant 6 stars.
New Caney Express
The taco spot in the gas station is by far the best in the area! They are second to none around here! The red sauce is actually spicy, and the corn tortillas are made fresh! If you enjoy breakfast tacos, you must try this place. The two ladies that run it are incredibly nice and serve some amazing food!
I had never heard of this particular franchise. And it may just be a mom and pop business. The individual that waited on us was engaging and friendly and delivered our food out to the table along with condiments. I would very much recommend this location and the fish and chips were terrific.
Akashi
We love this place! Everything here is always great. I especially love their udon noodle soup and their sushi never disappoint!
Excellent place! Great food and great service. Will definitely be back! Great menu items as well to include a ton of fusion sushi.
Vee's Kajun Kitchen
This place is a hidden gym that everybody should go seek. Customer service is great and the food is amazing! Vee's has every quality your looking for in taste and they make sure your belly is full đ
I decide to give this food truck a try. I got the boudain balls and fries and also the wings and fries. Everything was very flavorful and crispy. The staff were very friendly here. If your in the area give this place a try.
