The group was on the hunt for something other than the traditional burgers, home cooking and Mexican food so we selected one of the first places we ate as a family when we moved to North Texas, Panda Chef. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. When you enter, you place the order and have to use QR Code which surfaces during the lockdowns. The boys really are conservative with their Chinese food and selected orange chicken, the smallest monkey is satisfied with his noodles, and I got the beef and vegetables. As a quick start we shared the egg rolls. The cashier was so friendly and funny. She made us feel comfortable in an empty restaurant. The egg rolls were very hot but chispy and good. The food arrived very fast and after praying to HIM, we enjoyed our meal. The orange chicken was not that sweet like other places. The beef and vegetables had a good taste yet the garlic sauce a bit bland. With all the plates, appetizers and customer service it was a good experience. A bit heavy on the price at $66 but warm and fresh tasting Chinese is always a plus.

This place is so good!! Their orange chicken, white rice, and lo mein with garlic have so much flavor!! They're super fast and their online ordering is easy and fast as well.

The food here is great, and the ticket is dirt cheap. 14 dollars for the ticket by itself and then the drink does however make it roughly 18, but price wise, it really ain't that bad. The food tastes good, and the flavour is strong, my only complaint is they make some of the options a little too spicy, either that or I ate too much. Service is great, the waiters are friendly. One of them got me a new cookie because I dropped the other one on the floor accidentally. I also would have complained about the cookies being a little too hard and crumbly, they fixed that a while ago, the cookies are soft just enough to where I enjoy them. The atmosphere is decent. The Royal Buffet is heavily underrated. If you like (American) Chinese food, you will like it here.

Awful. So awful. I was hesitant even coming in but all I could think about is how long has the food been out. How many people have touched or coughed on the food. Some of the items tasted OK but overall the food was not good. I felt very gross afterwards and I didn’t even eat much. My husband and I both got stomach aches.

I consider myself a regular here for take-aways. Their closing hours are posted at 10.30 pm. I came here at 9.45, and the doors were locked. Fortunately for me, one of the staff pointed at me to go through the drive-through, which I did, and then one rude, young lady (I could have mentioned her name) took my food order with such an attitude that I felt as if I was at fault for buying my dinner. She almost dropped the food as she handed it to me. They need to address such behavior.

I usually don’t give reviews unless it’s really great or really bad. Recently I’ve had bad experiences eating here. The food is okay. I’m not one to get sick often but the past 3 times I’ve ate here I have gotten sick. Yesterday I had dined in during the evening, food is alright, but I feel satisfied. Well later in the night I wake up with indigestion which either ends up with me puking or coming out the other end.. last time I had it was a few months ago and one more time before that and each time I always ended up the same. It just doesn’t sit in my stomach well and then later I feel like crap. This is the last time I’m going to any Panda. Or could maybe just be this location but yeah it’s not a great feeling at all and I don’t even come often. Nice people, food is okay at best, but whatever is in it has made me sick the past 3 times no matter how soon or how far apart I’ve had it.

We ordered the vegan orange chicken. They didn’t bother to replenish the food at all. Then why even have a vegan option? We waited for half an hour to get a simple entree. The worst experience. Even a restaurant would’ve served us faster. Disappointed. Never coming back.

They are friendly, gave me cute panda stickers for my kids. Food was good, hot and fresh!

We came in last night and placed a pretty large order. The staff worked on it swiftly and it was out fast. The lady in the front made sure that we had everything we ordered as well. The food was also so good. Definitely coming here more often !

Perfectly cooked, great portions, hot delicious food. Delivery driver spoke Spanish, perfect fast delivery regardless of the language barrier. I have to note: I wish you could customize the sides of rice and upgrade them with a protein.

I had never had a complaint about this location but three days ago it was very sad to see how they think a customer won’t notice leftover food. I was planning on buying 2 adult meals plus a cub meal. But I was hesitant to buy it because the food didn’t look fresh and clearly the kitchen was not used at all. I saw clean frying woks and utensils. Not a single signal that the kitchen had been used. So I bought just the cub meal. Sadly I was right about my hunch. The chow mein was hard and cold. I immediately returned the food and the lady said “Do you like fresh meal?” obviously everyone wants fresh food I said. She answered she can cook for me if I wanted to wait 20 min. I wasn’t gonna wait because it was clear that it wasn’t gonna take only 20 minutes.

After a long day of work, stopped by to get food to take home and after a few bites I bit into something hard and it was a metal wire. Drove back up to restaurant and spoke with the manager who was extremely professional. Processes need to be put in place so this doesn't happen again.I work in the medical field and if these metal shaving are ever swallowed/consumed it would have a horrific outcome not to mention whatever bacteria is harbored on the metal brushes they use to clean.

First time here, and I can honestly say the food is freshly made, a healthy big portion, and the taste was incredible.

False advertisement! This is not what is shown in the image of the seafood rice. This is literally rice with 4,5 pieces of seafood. On the image at the drive through you can hardly even see the rice. The owner needs to change this menu or change the way you cook this plate. It is unacceptable and as I see all his replies say to call customer service. Thus, no change to the way they make business.

Food is so fresh! Second time here and I got to say is my favorite so far. Great customer service. Definitely a go too!

I always order delivery from there and it always comes neatly packed in the bag. There’s never items missing everything I order I get down to the sauce packets. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. My favorite Chinese restaurant by far in whole DFW area!

Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and ordered the shrimp Lo mein for $13.50. Service was good and place was clean. Will be coming back

disappointed in the business not appropriately communicating its change in business hours or early closure, everything indicated that the restaurant would close at 10 pm and the website allowed me to place an order, only to pull up and see all lights turned off with this telling note taped to the front door. Seems like it may be a recurring issue, thankfully I didn’t pay online 😅

Was a bit skeptical on ordering here due to the reviews but decided to take a chance for dinner and everything was freshly cooked and tasted good and decent. Fair pricing would order again

When you see a review from someone who is complaining about their food not being spicy enough and then they mention that they order the same thing from here all of the time and give it 2 stars, you gotta wonder wtf they keep going back for. Anyway, that being said, for a place that caters to a loud crowd after the bars close and despite having to deal with the most obnoxious drama queens in town who expect their food on a silver platter, the food is incredible and fast, and most importantly, being the only Asian restaurant open past 9pm, they could be a lot less accommodating and serve mediocre food knowing that they are the only place open, but they serve excellent food and are very nice people who do their best for the obnoxious customers who crowd in around 2am and can barely order without falling down or fighting with each other. Basically, Chef House is fantastic, it’s some of the customers who make the experience unpleasant for not only the other customers but who are rude and obnoxious to the staff. The very patient staff I might add.

Wanted to give it a try because I’m in the area but the experience was not very pleasant. Services were fine, the waiter (Chris) was nice and polite. The food was not good at all, I ordered 2 dishes: salt&pepper prawns and Beef chow fun noodles. The plating was BAD. And I paid $25 for just one dish. Yes you looked correctly, they charged a whopping $25 for 10 pieces of shrimps. The taste was mid but the plating and the price were extremely outrageous. Poor plating doesn’t get along with elegant environments since you guys trying to make the restaurant “LOOK LIKE” high end. The other dish was SALTY!!! I am 100% sure that the chef put too much salt into the noodle. Well, consider all the cooks back in the kitchen are Mexicans because the owner was greedy. I paid $45 for two dishes, yes, now you have to spend $45 at an Americanized Chinese food restaurant for only two dishes. This place is not worth your time and money. Avoid at all cost, there are so many other choices that you can spend way less money to actually enjoy the food!

We’ve been visiting for years, but had lunch there today for a late mother’s day. We all had lunch specials that came with a spring roll and steamed or fried rice. They weren’t very busy as we got there kind of late for lunch so the food and service were quick. I had the orange beef which was good as always. The fried rice was ok, but I did like the cucumbers that were served with it. We also ordered egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, crab rangoon, general tsaos chicken, orange chicken and sesame chicken. Everyone left full. It was a bit pricey for lunch - more than I remembered, but they had roy rogers and shirley temple on the drink menu, which made me happy and just made the meal a bit better. :)

My first time dining in here and was more than satisfied with the quality of food. Atmosphere was great too. Was attended by staff efficiently and professionally. Definitely looking forward to coming back again.

My experience at the Panda Express in Murphy, Texas, was nothing short of abysmal. The food was a travesty; the so-called "fresh" ingredients tasted stale and unappetizing. The staff's incompetence was on full display, with orders consistently incorrect and service slower than a snail's pace. The restaurant's cleanliness was questionable at best, making the dining experience utterly unpleasant. I would strongly advise against subjecting yourself to this culinary disaster.
