This place was absolutely disgusting. All food was cold. None the less son got RAW Chicken. Picture will be attached with this review. Brought it to the managers attention and she was like “ok well I’ll notify the cook.” Asked for a discount and she is like I can give you 10% off. The ln they bring us the bill as we were done no one wanted to eat after that. The bill had 1 plate reduced 10% which I thought was unfair as it was my son’s first and only plate. I asked for it to be removed from the bill and the server got al rude that they have cameras and can look on the cameras to see if he ate anything other than this raw chicken. So now they calling us liars. Just to make it be known left the restaurant upset and hungry. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Second time here. The food was good, but not great. The service was good. Yesenia took care of us and all her tables with such a beautiful (a servents heart) heart. The restrooms and overall restaurant along with prices are in good shape. Definitely will come back.

Food was bland, no sushi 🍣, there was more dessert then fresh food, food looked like it was past it's shelf life. Fried shrimp tasted like batter , food was super oily. Some good was super salty

Just came in expecting nice hot food, everything was cold, I told the gentleman that works here and he said just stir from the bottom, really? Wouldn't that mix make it warm, wow and he just walked away. I will never come here again.

I knew we should have left before even entering. Outside, there was trash all over that has been piling up for days or more. But we decided to give it a try since the rating was pretty good. The cashier seemed put out because we were there. The food was ok, nothing great, sauces were very watery and some items were cold. The egg drop soup was not very good, and the wanton soup had rubbery wanton. The decor was very nice so I gave a 3 star on that. But food and service were very lacking, and we will not return or refer anyone to this location.

None of the dishes were good, none! There was even hair in one of the dishes. When asked to get a refund I was denied due to me taking 34 minutes long to tell them. According to the manager, if I would've told them within my first 30 minutes, they would've returned my money. Well, before I asked for a refund 1. I tried different dishes since I thought maybe one was not good maybe others were. 2. With two toddlers, serving, tasting, eating, walking, etc. is not something you get done easily. Regardless of my explanation they denied my request. Horrible customer service and horrible food. DO NOT GO THERE, save money and time.

They opened 24 minutes ago but yet they can’t answer the phone for an order for pickup, it’s so annoying

I’ve been inside for a while I mostly order pick up through the drive-through. The food is great and I almost get it once a month I also always get the same thing the Kung Powell deluxe. It has shrimp beef and chicken some other vegetables and some sauce also you can pick from rice or lo mein I always get the fried rice it’s pretty good. So if you’re thinking about getting some food somewhere and you’re thinking about getting from this place go ahead and try them out it’s good.

Guys I’ve been coming here for 3 years, it’s always been good but today is the frist time I come back in 6 months and the flavor is sooo off from when I remembré

The orange chicken did not taste or look like orange chicken. The general tso's chicken was pretty good, highly recommended. Fried rice was a little bland. Some soy sauce would go a long way on it. Beef and broccoli is decent. The crab Rangoons are great. The egg rolls are overpriced for what you get, although it did taste good. I am going to give them another shot in the future to see if maybe the orange chicken was made wrong this day because the rest was good. Nice quick meal. Update: The more i go, the worse it gets. This time, no sweet and sour sauce for my sweet and sour chicken was provided. The broccoli was undercooked, very tough to bite into. The shrimp had a little funky taste to it. No fortune cookies. No napkins. Fried Rice was still bland, and I've had the runs since I ate there. Definitely won't go back.

Great service and food came out fast and piping hot! I ordered general tso and teriyaki chicken.

I had been looking for a good hunan beef for a while now. I was very impressed by food. The noodles and rice were good...the egg rolls are really delicious. The hunan beef was so delicious and spicy. I love to mix my rice with the liquid from the huban beef...its so good. Don't let the looks fool you from the outside...you have to try this place. Very clean on the inside.

Not the best food, but above average for the price. Very good service (catering for the Spanish speaking audience, which makes sense for their location). Highly recommend the wings, I love their sauce!

This restaurant is not what I expected. I have been to the one just north of Nolana on 10th and its WAY better than this one (across from the mall in McAllen.) I don't understand how the quality and variety could be so different from the other restaurant. Even the building is looking rundown. The glass inside by the tables was dirty. The walls right next to the tables was dirty. I was not impressed with the food here and I probably wont be coming back.

Do NOT order the “Bigger Plate”! $1.50 more & it is NOT worth it. I ordered the Bigger Plate with Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, & Broccoli Beef (in that order). When I got my bag, i only saw the orange chicken & broccoli beef. In a TINY container (the length of my thumb!!) were ONLY 6-7 Honey Walmart Shrimps (that costs more!) Seriously?? The shrimp costs more alone & I expected to see a big portion like everything else … for almost $3 more, I am SO DISAPPOINTED.

Terrible experience today during lunch hour, it was packed I had placed an order way prior to going to pick up, I think it was the manager with makeup that was just smiling , she mentioned to me about the whole online pick up thing, but I had asked an employee named “Pedro” and all he said was basically just to wait in line because some online orders aren’t ready, awhile I was waiting in line the food was ready along time ago!!!! I received my food cold, only thing that was warm was my beef Broccoli, they need to figure out how to attend those that have online orders instead of making us wait!! I had to go to work terrible place and managment don’t come here not even an apology was giving just the damn manager I think wearing that black coat with make up smiling ! 🙄take your money else where will never come here again! For the price being paid I might as well go to a another Chinese food restaurant

First time here in Penitas. It was good. We ordered numerous plates. And all of them were fresh and delicious. It was warm inside, but once we told them it was hot in the building, they turned on the AC and it was a Great experience. We will definitely be coming back. Great Job Panda Express in Penitas Tx!

3-9-25 Wife and I have now eaten here twice in the last two weeks. First last weeks experience: I got a bowl with Kung Poa Chicken and fried rice. The chicken was good and very spicy, which I was warned about. No complaints at all. Wife had a bowl with String Bean Chicken and fried rice, also very good. She asked for sweet and sour sauce and was given two packets. She said it was good, just not enough of it to cover the rice. The only real complaint was on the drink. We filled up with "sweet tea" that had no sugar in it. Dumped it in favor of Sprite, which was pure soda water. Other than that we enjoyed our visit enough to return. Today we again both got bowls. Wife got the same thing but asked for extra sauce packets and received them. I ordered Firecracker Shrimp, based on the signage positioned above the food. When he started dipping from a different spot, that also had steak in it, I stopped him and said I wanted the shrimp and pointed to the dish beneath the sign. He never told me it was Walnut Shrimp, only said the other was the Firecracker. I said ok, and asked for shrimp only, no steak. He sat the bowl aside, got another bowl and began dipping rice again, then put Walnut Shrimp in the bowl. I never knew what I got until I sat down to eat and looked at the ticket. How did he know I wasnt allergic to nuts? Again, I was never told what he was giving me, the signage was in the wrong place above the dishes on the line, and the person that cashed us out did not say what he was charging us for. On the bright side, they did sweeten the tea today

For the price, we are very happy with this buffet. There are large selection of food. Everything i ate was good or decent tastes. My favorite is fried shrimp. The waiter always came to ask if we need more refill. The floor are clean. Buffet areas are clean. This is our first time here but will definitely come back. I like this place better compared to other Asian buffets around here

The food was not good. The staff was working fast, serving drinks and cleaning tables. Its costs a bit more that other locations but they have more variety in the buffey and a guy cooking orders with the combo you choose.

Great place for authentic vietnamese food - specially in seafood (snail). Love the sticky rice with chicken gizzards, snail with salted egg, clam is fresh too. At the time we are there , just open 2 month don’t have license for beer yet so BYOB.

We drove one hour to try this place and it did not disappoint!!!! Great food and service. Cute interior. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried. The service was great. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful with the recommendations. She even packed our leftovers without us asking. Another wait staff checked on our table, emptied the bowl that we used to put the shells. Overall, staff were friendly and efficient. We tried iced coffee with salt foam, xôi lòng gà cháy tỏi, ốc Canada muối tỏi, sò điệp nướng mỡ hành, ốc móng tay xào rau muống. Everything was delicious. We will definitely come back again!

Cold weather instilled the appetite for soup, and we came here being the closest. Based on their recommendation, we ordered hot n sour soup, the looks were not appealing, and after the first spoon, it was already enough.. Never again!

Nice venue for Halal Chinese! Cozy family restaurant with bad lighting. Food we tried was good mostly, prices are ok, but the lighting is terrible. 7/10 Orange Chicken 7/10 Veggie Fried Rice 6/10 Mongolian Beef 5/10 Plain Lo Mein
