The place is really worn down and the booths were all scratched up and the backing on them was torn and scratched. They only had a curtain separating the kitchen and the place just didn’t seem very clean. The food was overcooked. The cashew chicken was burnt and the egg drop soup was almost an orange color and tasted awful. The sweet and sour chicken was way over fried. We ended up throwing everything away and having cereal. Definitely a waste of $50

The General Tso’s chicken with rice and egg roll was excellent! Better than average Chinese food. The establishment was nice but could change out the plastic cups for glass ones for a higher end feel. Everyone was friendly and the service quick. The lunch price was very reasonable at $12.

I have been ordering from here for many years. The husband and wife owners are very friendly. Sometimes a little hard to understand, but friendly. Mostly takeout but they do hae a dozen booths. I give them a 4 because they have one of the best Egg Rolls in the state. Generally their appetizers are really good. Great Beef Teriyaki, Crab Rangoon's, Chicken Wings, Boneless Spareribs, Peking Ravioli's, Pork Strips and their Hot and Sour Soup. Their entrées can be hit or miss. I usually add my own spices to get it where I want. The Egg Roll alone is worth stopping in.

First time orders were pretty tasty. Ingredients seemed fresh, not too greasy, and I felt full. But of course I was really hungry too, so may have biased me a bit. But price is awesome for what you get and compared to others in the area and towns. We will have to try this place again. Like other reviewers, the place can use redecorating. But if that will increase the price, I don’t mind the retro look for good food. It does look relatively clean and I agree that if it looked more clean, more people would recommend the place and not say “it’s a dump, but go for the food”. Not sure if it resent my changed ownership but some of said it isn’t as good as it use to be. But we’ll give it a few more tries to see if it’s consistent. For service, it was take out, the host could be more friendly and polite.

This is the hidden gem of Tennessee!!! By far the best Chinese food I've had in years!!! The sweet and sour shrimp 🍤... Delicious 😋!!! The sweet and sour pork... Awesome...The orange chicken... Amazing!!! And your meal would not be complete unless you get the beef Lo Mein... You can Thank me later!!!!

Wonderful place to eat! We have a food allergy in our family and they were patient with us as we ordered and made sure the cook knew about our allergies, and there was so many options. We got about 6 entrees and all were delicious and generous! Very sweet family-run spot. Can't believe it took us this long to visit. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes next time. We ordered to-go and everything was so well packaged! I was super impressed.

We have a nice evening. Our waitress was the high point of our evening. She was attentive but not over bearing. The food was good. My friend and I shared a meal: Mongolian Beef, Brown Rice, and a Pink Lotus Cosmo. We would definitely visit again!

My wife and I love to come here when we're in town! It has great atmosphere, and the food is consistently delicious. We actually hadn't been here in a couple of years, and I was delighted to find that my favorite dish, the dumplings, actually comes SUBMERGED in the sauce now! The sauce was always my favorite part, but it seemed like there was never enough of it. Now there is PLENTY, and I actually scooped some of it up and put it on my rice! Delicious!!

Haven’t had Panda Express in years, and this place made me want it daily! Generous portions, friendly staff, and good prices for the amount. Good teriyaki chicken and orange chicken with fried rice. Thanks!

We discovered Panda Express a few months ago and have gone for dinner several times. The food is very good, generous portions, affordable, and the staff keep the place very clean. Thanks to all the staff who are doing a fantastic job - my family are now Panda Express regulars!

Flavors are back! I saw Manny at Hot Wok and he was showing the new owners all his recipes he used. So glad to have the flavors finally back. The last owners never did capture what Manny did. One of my favorite places to eat!

Never going to Panda Express again. You can taste the food here is made from scratch. You have to try the egg rolls. Not the corporate skinny ones. I definitely recommend

When you enter, you feel a very nice environment, which is perfect👌 In the tables, you have sticks,straws, and extra ingredients you can add to your meals. Also, in the infront desk, they have 3 screens where you can see the menus and choose whichever food you want to order, but also they have that option in paper 😉 Food in short words DELICIOUS. They take their time to cook,so waiting it's worthy. Restrooms ( Ladies) So clean and smells great , so feel free and fine to use the restroom. Overall, Good Place , I will be visiting them again soon, Happy New Year💕

A wonderful restaurant with lovely staff and delicious food! I ordered the mapo tofu, knowing that most dishes on the menu are family style portions, meant for sharing. It was one of the best mapo tofu dishes I had in Franklin and it itched the craving I had for ages. The amount of food you get is well worth the cost. The staff were very helpful in taking my order over the phone and communicated well about the wait time for pick-up. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. I can't wait to order again here! :D

Food was great. Loved the soup dumplings. The beef soup is good, but if your order “medium spice”, it’ll have a kick. Seared bao were good, never had one seared before. Great place to eat. Glad it’s hear in Franklin. Definitely coming back.

The food's appearance was deceiving, as it looked far better than it tasted. None of the baos were fresh. The fried chicken bao is about the equivalent to a McChicken sandwich. The large steamed bao had just one tiny meatball inside, which was supposedly 'beef shank' according to the menu. The beef noodle soup did have a flavorful broth, but there was an inedible piece of 'tender beef shank' in my soup that was as tough as a tire.

Chicken on Sticks and Jumbo Shrimps were Average and chicken was overcooked. In the lunch combo, hot and sour soup was bad. Kung Pao chicken, Pepper chicken with Onions was good and the flavour was tasty. Also there are many varieties of Food with cheap options.

Chopstix has the best Chinese food around. Plus, you get a free egg roll with your order. I moved here from California 16 years ago, and I've had a hard time finding good Chinese food.

I was reluctant to get Chinese food out in Franklin but this place was surprisingly very good. The young lady behind the counter was very polite and friendly. I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables lunch special and it came out pretty quick. The food was really, really good. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be stopping by again.

This is a nice Chinese food place with good food and good service. It is in a small shopping center and the building itself is fairly small. There's only a couple of tables for sitting at. When I came in, the staff took my order right away and they were friendly. The food was done fairly quickly and it was a good portion. I got the house fried rice and it was flavorful.

The other day, when I stopped by Franklin for a lovely luncheon with my golf buddies, I decided to stop by Long River. The service was excellent, and I was frank(lin)ly blown away by the quality of the food here. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, and the flavors simply danced on my tongue in a nice symphony—or perhaps more like a waltz? Either way, it paired well with the house lo mein that we split, and I would recommend this shop to any of my old buddies. Huzzah!

I think this place might be under new management, though but sure when they took over. The menu is smaller now, but in my opinion the food is much better quality. Only complaint is the fried rice doesn't have veggies, but I was unbothered because our dishes had so many veggies in them.

Rude lady in front tried to tell me I called in before and never picked up order. When she read me the number back it wasnt even the correct number. Lost a paying customer. Get better with your customer service. Absolutely no way to run a business. I wish I could give less than a 1 Star.
