Panda Express
Great customer service makes this Panda Express stand out. Was greeted with a welcoming smile. Even offered me to try a few of the entrees before I my purchase. Food was okay. A couple of the entrees like the fried rice and the chow mein tasted bland. Seemed to was missing some sort of spice or flavoring that's typical with Panda Express. The other selections like mushroom chicken, orange chicken and the beef broccoli and we're on point. The beef broccoli could have more beef. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This location offer drive through service. This location also had plenty of parking.
On two separate occasions we have ordered food and have been lied to about wait times. We take an hour lunch and stop by panda. Last time it took 40 mins to finish our food. We had a 20 min lunch that day. Awesome. Today, we ordered online and made sure not to leave work until ready. Well I got the notification that it was ready. We told them we had a pickup order and were told it would be done in 4 mins. 4 mins was actually 30 mins. They had run out of chow mein. This is where my forgiveness and patience goes out the window. See photo for what my order of Orange chicken and chow mein was given to me after such a long wait and ordering ahead. I didn't even get any chow mein its all cabbage. So much for lunch.
Steam Boys
Loved it! Had the veggie, pork and beef bao buns and the dough was really tasty but the beef and pork hands down stole the show and are worth it! We cut them in half and then were able to sample multiple options and still eat a few different places. Also super friendly guy at the cash register and very fast service. If I had more time I would have gotten soup dumplings as well
Not terrible but could use some work. I was really looking forward to the bao bun but it was more bun than meat. I prefer the meat ground so you can taste the overall bite in the bao bun, but that’s just preference. The meatball had good flavor but some sauce would’ve been better. The dumplings were very fresh and delicious. Next time I’ll try them fried.
China Moon
I went on line to look for restaurants in the area. This restaurant pop up first on the search for Chinese food. The restaurant has 3.5 and the comments were low but I wanted to see for myself an boy was the comments and the low was right. The food was hot but my order was missing the fried rice and egg roll I pay $15 to have items miss on purpose. There one else in the restaurant for the order to be mess up. If u read the other comments they also left items off the oder
I came for a late dinner an hour before they closed, and the area looked a bit sketchy but the food?? SOOO AMAZING like i was not expecting this at allll!! shoutout to the kid cashier that got the food for me
Evergreen Express Chinese Restaurant
Such a cute little restaurant at Nippers Corner. The lady who took my order was so kind, I paid $6.50 for what appears to be half a gallon of egg drop soup (great portion!) Perfect for my sore throat and it was made very quickly. She asked if I wanted a fortune cookie and her smile was genuine (she gave me two!), packaging was thoughtful. I recommend this place!! Will be coming back.
Paid just under $29 for sesame chicken and crab rangoons. The sesame chicken had good flavor but there was very little chicken. It was all breading. For the amount of money I spent I felt very ripped off. The crab rangoons are my favorite thing to order when getting Chinese and these were way too sweet. I won’t be visiting this place again.
China One
Atmosphere, doesn’t really count, it’s not a place to sit down and eat. I ordered chicken with mushrooms. Everything was OK in the dish, except the chicken. It should’ve been stir fried, but instead, it looks like it was deep fried, and does not taste very good tonight.
I loved the sweet & sour chicken & the sauce with it was 10/10. HOWEVER my egg foo young (one of my favorite dishes) was undercooked & had a slimy texture. The gravy with it was not what I was used to. It had a soy sauce flavor which I hate soy sauce spring rolls were overcooked , smh
Panda Express
"I stopped by this Panda Express location and had a decent experience. The kung fu chicken was tasty but that veggie zucchini is spoiled , but the Beijing beef was a bit overcooked. The fried rice was average, nothing special. The portion sizes were okay, but I've had better value at other locations. The staff was friendly, but the restaurant could use a bit more attention to cleanliness. Overall, it was an average experience, not bad but not great. Maybe I'll give them another try in the future."
I ordered a dish to eat at the restaurant and I found a hair on my plate. I would like to upload a photo but I am not allowed to. I approached the manager Alondra to inform her and show her my dish. Her response was abrupt and unfriendly, giving me an unprofessional request.
China Pan
What you would expect for a Chinese buffet on the cheaper side, which is exactly what I wanted. The place was clean and the people were friendly. The food was solid and there was a good variety. Left full and happy, which is all you can ask for!
worst Asian buffet in mid TN. been sitting waiting for half decent food for 2 hours they promise all new customers fresh food coming in a bit but never deliver their saving grave is the hibachi Grill which serves fresh hot food but their attitude is exceptionally repulsive once you start eating. everything on the buffet is cold they don't refill the buffet items until their empty do yourself a favor save your money and your self respect.
No.1 Chinese Restaurant(in Brentwood)
Glad that we ordered from here for the first time. We were reluctant due to the “3.3” average which is low. We give it a five. We ordered Mongolian beef, egg foo young, orange chicken, chicken with broccoli and won ton soup. All were very good. We will order again. Bad reviews unwarranted in my opinion
The lady that waited on us, makes all the flowers by hand. The ones I got close to were made out of ribbon. She wanted me to see everything she had made. The food was super good, I just didn't eat the sauce because of my new health journey. I also picked out the carrots!
China Dragon
Ordered the chicken Mai Fun, beyond disappointed. I’m disgusted. This is not chicken. I don’t care what they say, this smelled really bad. Tasted bad. Feels disgusting. Also ordered the vegetable spring rolls, none was fresh. Tasted like it was sitting out all day. Never ordering from here again.
I got the Singapore noodles, wonton soup, and a pork egg roll and the somehow all tasted the exact same: like grease. All the meat was pure gristle, I think there somehow was no vegetables other than the world's saddest cabbage, and the Singapore noodles weren't even yellow or flavored. It just all tastes like greasy mushy nothing, I couldn't finish most of my meal and 30 minutes later I'm nauseated. For 20 bucks I feel scammed and I would recommend go to any other Chinese place. For people who care about atmosphere and service, the woman at the front counter was on her phone and didn't even notice I'd come to pick up my order when I was standing one foot in front of her until I spoke. There was no tables or chairs and there was a intoxicated homeless dude sitting right by the door begging for food and change. It's also really hard to get in and out of parking.
Green Asia
Tanghulu tasted old and soggy. They probably had it in a fridge all day, which the sugar was falling apart from the fruit. DO NOT ORDER the K-dogs here. They are NOT what the pictures look like & does not taste fresh whatsoever. Their drinks are overly sweet & the lady that seems to be in charge was rude when confronted.
The food was definitely good- and they have some of the only gluten free food in the farmers market. Gluten free spring rolls, noodles, chickens, etc. The food was nothing crazy good but it was pretty good and they give very filling portions The price of the food is a bit steep, $20-$30+ per person, but it's not the worst. Also, while the fruit teas were good, they didn't have much fruit flavor (I got the pomegranate drink) and it tasted like tea.
Best Wok Chinese restaurant
Ordered a large Beef Lo Mein. The food was pretty good but it won’t knock your socks off. The noodles were well seasoned and had great texture, the veggies were good, but the beef could have done with a little more seasoning. For the price, it definitely hit the spot. I wish it wasn’t fried in shortening, but if I wanted a health forward meal, I would've gone somewhere else. The lady working the front counter was nice. Would give it like 4.3 stars but since that’s not an option, we’ll round it up.
If there is zero star i could have given that. Their food is a trash. I dont no how they preparing, not able to take a single bite. Ordered singapore noodles and shrimp with mixed veggies. Singapore noodles doesnt like it, looks like they dont use curry powder instead only soy sauce and eggs placed top of noodles as plain omelete and noodles is thicker. I had singapore noodles in many chinese restaurants all the time it looked and taste the same but this one 100% they dont use curry powder. Shrimp with mixed vegetables curry is full of snow peas and veges taste so bad and the shrimp made in flour its taste like that. I dont like wasting food but this time i trashed everything.
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
Food was average. I had General's chicken. Upcharge on fried rice. Over priced compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area and the food ranked behind at least two. Still can't find adequate replacement for China Wok. But there was a decent amount of food.
Happy to find a plug so that I could work over lunch, but my lettuce wraps showed up DIY. Had to really wash up good and pry the lettuce apart and make the wraps by hand, so I went through a million napkins. There was a lot there, though. I would definitely pick something else, but I would go back.
