Old Liz’s Charleston delivers an incredibly authentic Chinese dining experience. The flavors are bold and traditional, making every bite feel like a trip to China. Everything was amazing and fresh! The service was great and friendly and the cuisine was beyond compare. My family enjoyed our dinner and we will definitely be back with friends. My children enjoyed the family style dining and I wish more restaurants did this! With a large family the spinning table worked wonders! You must try the duck! My 5 year old is a dumpling fanatic and he could not stop talking about the dumplings!

Staff: The staff was kind. I had a hard time understanding her but she was patient and only laughed with me. Building: The building is spacious and very well taken care of. It is weird shaped with a side room for larger groups in the door cattywampusto the left. Food: Everything was perfect. Speed: The speed was fast. Fresh from burner to the table. Parking: plenty of parking. Star rating: 5 because of the price and the wonderful food I have no problem coming back here every chance I get. Decided to come here for lunch. Reminds me of an old school hole in the wall where you can get lunch for cheap. They did not disappoint. Got the pork fried rice with General Tso chicken. Really good! I would go back to eat. There isn't much parking so just keep that in mind when you go. The staff was cool. Nice older lady at the front. Nothing bad to say.

Not the best Chinese food I've had but it's the best the area can offer. We usually order for dinner. Their boneless spare ribs and staple entrees are always a good choice. The wontons and egg rolls never seem to be freshly fried. They moved their order booth inside, but still unsure if dining inside is an option.

Appears aside. The food was impeccable. Not a place you want to dine in, but take out galore. Go ahead and order now. It’s worth the 30 sec of human interaction before clicking the button for Grubhub. There’s a reason they are not on there. They use spaghetti noodles for their lo mein, and we got rice and kind of soupy vinegary cabbage instead of chicken chow mein (which is also supposed to be a noodle dish?) They also don't take card, which is fine, but it would be nice to know before you get there. Real bland tbh

If my phone hadn't died, I would have taken pictures of our food. I got the beef and broccoli, hubby got shrimp fried rice and extra shrimp. Both were so good, we couldn't eat it all. The people who were working, were very friendly and helpful with our order. If you are looking for a very nice, clean Chinese restaurant, then come here to the Asian Garden restaurant on Rivers Ave. in North Charleston. They have great food here.

This place is horrible! The food is bad, expensive and the portions are too small. Also, the wait time is excessive and the employees are not friendly.

Worst food ever! They gave me SUPER dried out chicken, dry rubbery rice and watered down lemonade! Horrible HORRIBLE, do not recommend. crab raggoon barely had any crab in it, it was pretty much dried bread with nothing in it!! Horrible, so mad that I spent $83 for me and my family smh.

I’ve eaten at China Wok for several years, and the food has always been great. I love the Chicken Egg Foo Young and Pineapple Chicken. Personable staff with excellent customer service.

I don't live in the area, however, every time I go through I have to stop. Great food, nice people, and I am always happy. And I love trying different things. I know it will be good. I recommend Honey chicken.

First time eating from China taste and I have to say the food was really good and excellent customer service. This place taste better than speedee wok. Since Anna left Speedee Wok the food has not been the same so I decided to try China taste. China taste chicken taste amazing I think this is gonna be my go to restaurant if I am in the mood for Chinese food.

Great food! Soup dumplings are amazing and fresh. Made daily and they actually close a few hours each day to make more because they go so quickly and I appreciate that because you bring a fresh product to your customers. Be patient for a table it’s crowded for a reason but service was spot on. Food came quickly and very well prepared. I hope the owners and chef get to read this so I can say great job and don’t change a thing !!

Incredible place to eat! We were very impressed. We have tried pretty much every dim sum in Charleston and still think this is the best!

It’s a hit and miss. Today I could tell my food was recooked and scorched my wings weren’t fresh I’m disappointed. I got to work to eat and was not satisfied. When it’s fresh it’s hot when I get to work. Today it was hard and warm.

They have really tasty food but only take cash. NO CARD TRANSACTIONS ACCEPTED.

The food here overall is good and the people are pleasant. However, I’ve ordered from here twice so far. The first time I ordered egg rolls and thought they gave me spring rolls by mistake. No big deal, it happens. But I ordered them again and again they’re the size of spring rolls. Every time I’ve had egg rolls from any other restaurant I’ve ordered from, they were twice the thickness. Also, I ordered pork fried rice and it consisted of only yellow rice and pieces of onion. No pork or anything else. Very disappointing.

The egg roll is burnt. The chicken has this old out of date smell and taste once you bite into it. Just completely not the restaurant it used to be. I feel bad leaving this review seeing they the only restaurant to serve golden chicken.(reminiscent of the New Jersey chicken I grew up on) Just sucks now sadly!
