Well.. it is really the “good pizza”! Plus the our the office experience made very well by our waiter FERRY! Pleasant and really accommodating! He knows the menu well.. as a bonus, we were able to have free drink that time since they were doing a shoot for their new drinks. Plenty of parking, accepts credit/debit card, high chair seen and restroom is clean.

Of course like any Office fan who happens to be passing by/stopping in Scranton this is a must hit on the list. I’ve been twice and both times it more than did the trick. Fair prices, great service and ofcourse “the good pizza”. Sitting at the bar you can find some good banter with the bartender or locals. They also have TVs to catch the game (icey Yuenglings available on tap). The pasta is great, Asian chicken salad also has some quality flavor but the Old Forge pizza is really good. Minor PSA as they use a blend of American cheddar & mozzarella cheese on their Rectangle pie! Tastes a bit different but still hits. Kind of weird lighting / atmosphere vibes if you’re in the far back of the place on that elevated section .. rest is cool.

Located in the back of the food court area is the only Indonesian Restaurant I know of in the area. I was immediately intrigued! I stopped there for lunch the other day and tried the Nasi Rendang (a slow-cooked beef dish with rice). I have never had Nasi Rendang before, but I thought it was very good. I particularly liked the spicy sauce that came with it, because it really brightens the dish. The gentleman there was extremely nice and the service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend checking it out! We definitely need more restaurants featuring cuisines from other parts of the world in our area.

Only open Saturday start 11 am they have indonesian buffet for $10

Stopped on our way back to NYC from Ithaca. Everything was incredibly tasty. It’s a little bar/restaurant within a convenience store. If I lived nearby I’d come for cheap drinks and momo on the regular.

I've been here once and would like to visit again soon. It was a very interesting experience with some tasty food, though kind of awkward. This restaurant is actually inside of a little bodega. There's a bar in a side room that's prettysmall (but kinda cozy) and a small dining room in the back. You order your food at the checkout register of the store, which feels a little weird. The person manning the register was very nice, but because of the convoluted setup and maybe language barrier, I'm not entirely sure I understood everything he said. I'd highly recommend checking out the menu online so you know what you want ahead of time, though it seems that the actual menu is a bit larger than the one listed on Google Maps. There's not a lot of explanation of what everything is, so looking it up before visiting helped a bit. I ate in the dining room. Very cold, dimly lit, some of those legal gambling machines. I didn't exactly hate it, but I could see how it could put someone off. I'd rather sit at the bar next time. Also, though the store sells a good variety of canned and bottled beer, Pennsylvania's Kafkaesque alcohol laws mean you can't just buy a beer and have it with your food in the dining room: you'd either have to eat at the bar and drink from a limited selection or just get your food as takeout and drink your beer at home. The food itself was pretty good. I had the momo and some sort of soup. The momo are a little like the potsticker dumplings you'd find at a Chinese restaurant, but the dipping sauce was a spicy, sort of creamy sauce instead of the soy sauce-based dip you'd find at a Chinese place. The soup was also pretty good, though I would've preferred eating it with chopsticks rather than a fork and spoon. I have a couple criticisms. More signage could help people understand what's going on with the ordering and seating situation. More menus (I only saw two and there were three of us) with maybe some explanations on them would be nice. The food also took a bit longer to come out than I expected. I felt like my food got cold too fast because of the chilly ambient temperature in the dining room. That's a decent amount of criticism, but I really do recommend people check the place out, especially if you can do takeout (or maybe if you visit during the warmer months).

My husband and his co-worker stumbled upon this little gem a few days ago. He raves about it and came back the next day. He brought home some delicious pastries and he told me he wanted to take me there for dinner. The empanadas were nice and hot. I had the chicken with peppers, yellow rice and fried plantains. The portions are huge. My husband had the paisa, which feeds three people to say the least. The employees were so friendly and answered our questions. The have desserts and pastries and a great selections of juices. The place is really clean and has good seating. If you are craving for good Latino food, this is the place to go. It will not disappoint.

I was in the mood for spanish food and came across this restaurant. I called in my meal of the homestyle marinated red snapper. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. My food was ready and I paid and left. When I dug in, the snapper was huge! It was very good and flavored so well! I really enjoyed my meal!

This is the best place for homemade food at amazing prices. The owner cooks all orders fresh and used fresh ingredients and overall I can't wait to go to Scranton to just eat here. Again I can't say this enough that the food is absolutely amazing. Jim and Judy are amazing people who still bring high quality service and food to your table!!!

Mc Ilwee's is a warm and inviting location. It was clear that this is a welcomed local spot in the community as there were several patrons who shared their day while waiting for their order. Our waitress was very attentive and asked to top off my coffee a couple of times during my visit. I ordered the breakfast special and it was perfect! Great size and a fair price too! The restaurant is on the corner and easy to spot. There was plenty of street parking during my Sunday visit. I hope to be back!

Food was soo delicious . I went back the next day to order the Philly cheesesteak, wings, fries combo… cheesesteak was small but very flavorful . Wings were soo good and very crispy . Would totally recommend. I got the honey lemon pepper & my sister got the hot honey. Both 8/10. The woman that took our order was very attentive and very nice . 😊

Ordered for the first time yesterday since most of the reviews were positive. I physically went here and ordered to get the full experience. First impression was that it was very clean and empty.(Not necessarily a bad thing since they are fairly new). My daughter and I were greeted by a very friendly woman and she was very helpful. She kept telling us that we wouldn't be disappointed and that everything was super "yummy" which I thought was very cute. She was very nice to my 5 year old and kept calling her cutie and telling her that she was beautiful just like mom. Very nice lady. As for the food, let's just say it was okay. One thing I noticed was that the food was made very very quickly. Like, too quickly, as in some of the things I ordered were done prior to us arriving when we didn't call ahead. Re warmed possibly? I forgot to take pictures of our food but we threw out the rest anyway. We got chicken wings, large sweet n sour chicken, pepper steak w onion combo, large white rice, small pork fried rice, 2 cheese steak egg rolls oh and 2 large fries. The cheesesteak egg rolls were good, chicken wings were decent, sweet n sour chicken was very crunchy and oily and had almost a "sweet" taste inside(without the sauce), white rice was "al dente", pork fried rice was cooked better but lacked flavor, french fries were soft, almost soggy(my kids didn't mind though), and my husband said the pepper steak tasted a bit "off". For all of that it was almost $70. I did give a $10 tip, and that was because the lady sold us. She was very friendly and welcoming and the inside was very clean and upkept. The price was not worth the food however. Overall, I give it 3 stars total. 2 for the food, 5 stars for the service, 4 for the atmosphere. I would try to order here again in the future to see if they get better with the food.

google says you open and when i call i get a message that says you are closed but you will be open the next day. Everytime i go to order from here you closed i wont waste my time trying again. the fact i recommended you to soo many people i will not anymore!!! 😡😡😡😡

Not sure why ratings were good that’s why we ordered. First time ordering. Pretty expensive. Lo Mein was bland dark meat chicken and loaded with undercooked onions, no flavor at all. See picture. Chicken fried rice was bland also. Cheese wontons were good but very crispy and sharp on the mouth. Egg rolls garbage. Would never order again, worst yet in Scranton. Try Hot Wok for some good edible Chinese.

Osaka Sushi and Hibachi in Scranton offers a decent Japanese dining experience, but the atmosphere could use a bit of a refresh. The restaurant feels a little worn down, and a more updated or maintained environment would definitely enhance the overall dining experience. That said, the sushi itself was tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the chirashi. The fish was fresh, and the portion was generous, making it a satisfying meal. While the ambiance might not be top-notch, the quality of the food compensates for it. If you’re in the area and craving sushi, Osaka is worth a visit, especially if you focus on the food rather than the surroundings.

I love Osaka. They have great sushi, rolls, apps, salads, mochi and cocktails! My family has been going for years. It's very cozy for us! They also have hibachi.

We were on a road trip and totally forgot it was Thanksgiving in the US—most places were closed except Royal Buffet. Since it was the only option near our hotel, we gave it a shot. Thanksgiving dinner was $21.99 per adult and $13 per kid. The food was alright—decent variety. Sushi was surprisingly not freezer-tasting, but the flounder was pretty bland. The ribs were okay. The fresh salad and fruit were a highlight, and the stir-fry station was the real MVP. You pick your ingredients, and they cook it up with teriyaki—it’s super tasty but crazy salty. Wings were meh, and the rest was typical buffet stuff. Overall, it was decent for being the only thing open. Service was quick, and parking was easy. Only downside? The stir-fry cook low-key hinted at a tip to my wife, which was awkward.

Extremely good, best Chinese food I’ve ever had beside from New York, NY. Very clean and food was always available. Servers were on top of everything as well. I will definitely recommend this place and be back. Amen P.S. I don’t know how people are hating on this place it was excellent. Stop being miserable and broke. Servers did not demand a tip or even mention it. Maybe just leave a tip next time and be a human in this society.

I ordered delivery, it came very fast. I even got some pineapple on the house. Food was very hot and fresh! The Singapore Chow Mei Fun was amazing had that nice like kick to it! Sweet and Sour Chicken and rice was great! Egg roll was great. Overall very happy with my choice to order from here.

Ordered beef & broccoli and asked if they could put some baby corn in my order and a few carrots. They want to charge me a dollar for four pieces of corn and a dollar for five baby carrots pieces to add to my meal . What are ribs and l they came in little itty-bitty tiny pieces? All chopped up they were so over cooked they’re like rocks could barely even eat them. Absolutely disgusted with my dinner crab raccoons are the only thing that was halfway decent but there’s no crab any of them. They should only say they’re cheese Rangoon’s instead. They were disappointed, probably would not order from here again. The only thing that was good that I ordered was the white rice that came with my beef and broccoli. The broccoli was hard. There was about six pieces of beef in my dinner not worth the price will be looking for a new place to order from.

Grocery-store caliber sushi (possibly previously frozen) and bland made-only-for-Americans standard Chinese dishes in a storefront of a strip mall. Very friendly staff.

I recently visited this place, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and made with fresh ingredients. Every bite was a treat! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back!

Moved to the neighborhood fairly recently and needed to fine a good Chinese restaurant. Everything that we ordered was so good, nice and fresh; would definitely be ordering again

I am sad to say I didn’t care for this take out. Wait! The egg roll was very good. But the spring rolls were literally yuck. And I like spring rolls enough that I’ll usually choke down the mediocre ones. I did not eat these. I got the chicken curry. It was okay…nothing to write home about. Also, no napkins or utensils. A problem since I was taking back to the AirBnB and don’t have utensils there.
