Aldo's Pizza 2
Pizza slices were big and very tasty. The garlic knots were probably the best I've ever had. Waitress was spot on. Would definitely go back next time in the area.
Was in the mood for New York style pizza today and this was my first time trying Aldo’s, it was great… I will definitely be back
Chifa Peru
Literally the best quality food and best tasting of all ethnicities in the city. I would travel for miles and miles to eat here if I didn't live here. 10 out 10 hands down!! The service is even better. They made our sangria right there, fresh, chopped all the fruits and poured all the liquor & wine right in front of us. Do not miss out on the chance to experience the atmosphere, the service, and the food!!
Authentic Peruvian chifa! Looking for a place to eat while changing the car, we found this gem nearby. This was the best chifa we had in a long time. The chaufa aeropuerto, tallarín saltado con carne and pollo tipacay tasted just like back home. We also had the chicha morada and it was very good too. Friendly service and nice atmosphere, I wish we had time to eat there and enjoy this piece of Perú in Scranton.
Harbor Crabs
the food was absolutely amazing! it was our first time ever being here, and we decided to bring all our kids along, next time we will decide not to bring the kids and go on a date night! it's extremely expensive - but we will definitely be back.. by far one of the best seafood restaurants we've been too!!! everything was delicious, hott and fresh. service was okay, she didn't come around as often as I had hoped for, but could have been far worse as well so I will not complain especially for how amazing the food was.
I came with my friends who don’t enjoy seafood as much as I do, but they have a good selection of food that are catered to non-seafood lovers as well. We went to this place on a weekday so it wasn’t too busy but normally there’s a decent wait on the weekends. The atmosphere in here is great and it’s very well decorated, you can tell a lot of thought was put into it. Overall the service and food is top notch I would recommend this place to all of my friends.
Red Lobster
I've been to this location several times, and the service is exceptional no matter who waits on you. They're all great at what they do. The food is always great, and prepared perfectly. The only thing I'm able to show you here is a yummy Lobster Flatbread, and I'm lucky I'd given myself a chance to capture that prior to devouring. Seriously, though.... the people at this location deserve nothing less than a five star rating.....and a great, sizable tip when you visit. 🎯🦞 🍤 😋♥️🫶
Megan H was fantastic. She made our dining experience super satisfying. She was pleasant, consistent, kind, there was no complaint. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and clean. Definitely one of my fav red lobster experiences for sure. THANK YOU GIRL!
Scranton Bawarchi
We went there today. Great food. We got orders of Tikka Chicken Marsala, Garlic Naan and Garlic Parm wings with fries. The food was fantastic. Only minor gripe is that they don't bring the food out altogether. Wings and fries came first. Then the Rice and chicken, then later the naan. U get the naan to eat with your food not 7 to 10 min after. The service was great, They have a cool little area to eat. A public restroom and the service is great. A lot of the stuff was served to us in to go containers and paper plates, though. So we took it to go and got out of there We deff would go back, though. Food and service was fantastic. They have better tikka then the Amber does and a lot nicer service.
Good place overall for great food. We had Ghee Roast Dosa, Kadhai Paneer, Samosa Chaat, and Chicken Chettinad Curry. Everything was delicious. Try their Gongura Paneer. 💯 They have limited seating, as it seems almost all their orders are to go. Everything was handled by one lady, and she kept up with everything pretty well.
Ipanema Grille
First time visiting. Let's get straight to it. Food: A+ Service: A+ Ambience: A+ From the reservation phone call onward was very professional. I spoke with Douglas. Awesome person. Every staff member took the time to explain everything. The Hot/cold buffet was excellent. Some reviews I read said it was small. It's smaller because this is a steak house remember. The buffet is well layed out with great choices. Cheeses, breads, vegetables..Excellent. Alcohol Adult drinks were excellent. Recommend the Passion Fruit Caipirinha and Raspberry Caipirinha. (They did not skimp on the rum) Definitely will be visiting again.
An amazing Brazilian steakhouse! Unlimited meat, salad bar, and Brazilian soda and beer. The newly remodeled restaurant is awesome and the general manager is very friendly. Give the dessert and sangria a shot! It was delicious! A+++
Thai Rak Thai
Visiting for the weekend and passed this spot a couple of times and by the time we were looking for somewhere to eat we were drawn back. We can close to closing. Wonderful spot courtesy service and quick food. It was our anniversary weekend. They brought us a treat in the house after we’d finished our meal.
Been reviewing Thai restaurants in the USA for a while now, this one is good but not great. We appreciated them being open and available! The soups were our highlight (duck soup and seafood). The drunk noodle was okay, but the fried rice wasn’t crispy like we enjoy.
Bethel Kitchen
The food is so delicious!!!! The staff makes you feel you are in Nepal. We love it. A worth to go restaurant.!
The food was decent and reasonably priced. However, I would have appreciated it if they had served the sodas in cans instead of pouring them into glasses.
Brick Oven Pizzeria
I was very disappointed today when I ordered a pepperoni pizza from this brick oven and got home to this a burnt pizza like what? How can you serve this to your customer and when I called to complain I was place on hold and no one ever answer me. It really mess up that we spend our hard earned money and we get burnt food and the workers don't care. If I could give them a zero I would. They knew that pizza was burnt.
On 2/18/25 I ordered a large steak and cheese Stromboli with fried peppers and onions . The total came too $21.00 . Last night on 3/1/25 I have ordered the same thing. This time with them price being $30.06 . I noticed it when I left the restaurant. I called and spoke to someone on the phone . When they first answered the phone they said “brick oven “ kitchen is closed . They are rude and very disrespectful. The guy that answered the phone had an attitude and very disrespectful. I explained to him about the price difference and he made every excuse in the book too come up with the $30.00 price . He said that they charge $3.95 per topping which is beyond ridiculous. Fried peppers and onions should be included as I ordered this before plenty of times and it was as no other charge . The food is not even the greatest . They keep putting the prices up and down on the Stromboli. When my husband was holding the box in the car he noticed all the greese coming out of the box onto his lap . Below is the picture I’ll prove it . This place is beyond disgusting anymore . The greese they made inside the Stromboli went through the pizza box into my husbands pants and into his boxers it was that greasy . The staff are horribly ignorant and come up with excuses of why the food changed so much in price within a 10 day period . I’d recommend nobody getting anything from this place . They are ignorant and the food is just disgusting anymore . The manager seems like he didn’t really care about the whole situation either and it got pushed too the back burner. You never should disrespect or treat customers the way this person did on the phone on last night . I’d recommend staying away from this place .
Mi Ranchito
My husband and his co-worker stumbled upon this little gem a few days ago. He raves about it and came back the next day. He brought home some delicious pastries and he told me he wanted to take me there for dinner. The empanadas were nice and hot. I had the chicken with peppers, yellow rice and fried plantains. The portions are huge. My husband had the paisa, which feeds three people to say the least. The employees were so friendly and answered our questions. The have desserts and pastries and a great selections of juices. The place is really clean and has good seating. If you are craving for good Latino food, this is the place to go. It will not disappoint.
I was in the mood for spanish food and came across this restaurant. I called in my meal of the homestyle marinated red snapper. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. My food was ready and I paid and left. When I dug in, the snapper was huge! It was very good and flavored so well! I really enjoyed my meal!
Nepali Kitchen and Bar
Stopped on our way back to NYC from Ithaca. Everything was incredibly tasty. It’s a little bar/restaurant within a convenience store. If I lived nearby I’d come for cheap drinks and momo on the regular.
I've been here once and would like to visit again soon. It was a very interesting experience with some tasty food, though kind of awkward. This restaurant is actually inside of a little bodega. There's a bar in a side room that's prettysmall (but kinda cozy) and a small dining room in the back. You order your food at the checkout register of the store, which feels a little weird. The person manning the register was very nice, but because of the convoluted setup and maybe language barrier, I'm not entirely sure I understood everything he said. I'd highly recommend checking out the menu online so you know what you want ahead of time, though it seems that the actual menu is a bit larger than the one listed on Google Maps. There's not a lot of explanation of what everything is, so looking it up before visiting helped a bit. I ate in the dining room. Very cold, dimly lit, some of those legal gambling machines. I didn't exactly hate it, but I could see how it could put someone off. I'd rather sit at the bar next time. Also, though the store sells a good variety of canned and bottled beer, Pennsylvania's Kafkaesque alcohol laws mean you can't just buy a beer and have it with your food in the dining room: you'd either have to eat at the bar and drink from a limited selection or just get your food as takeout and drink your beer at home. The food itself was pretty good. I had the momo and some sort of soup. The momo are a little like the potsticker dumplings you'd find at a Chinese restaurant, but the dipping sauce was a spicy, sort of creamy sauce instead of the soy sauce-based dip you'd find at a Chinese place. The soup was also pretty good, though I would've preferred eating it with chopsticks rather than a fork and spoon. I have a couple criticisms. More signage could help people understand what's going on with the ordering and seating situation. More menus (I only saw two and there were three of us) with maybe some explanations on them would be nice. The food also took a bit longer to come out than I expected. I felt like my food got cold too fast because of the chilly ambient temperature in the dining room. That's a decent amount of criticism, but I really do recommend people check the place out, especially if you can do takeout (or maybe if you visit during the warmer months).
Warung Veck and Jack
Located in the back of the food court area is the only Indonesian Restaurant I know of in the area. I was immediately intrigued! I stopped there for lunch the other day and tried the Nasi Rendang (a slow-cooked beef dish with rice). I have never had Nasi Rendang before, but I thought it was very good. I particularly liked the spicy sauce that came with it, because it really brightens the dish. The gentleman there was extremely nice and the service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend checking it out! We definitely need more restaurants featuring cuisines from other parts of the world in our area.
Only open Saturday start 11 am they have indonesian buffet for $10
