Golden Key Chinese Restaurant
I have lived in 4 towns and tried many Chinese takeout. This place is literally the best Chinese food I've ever had. I drive 30 miles for their sesame chicken with wonton soup. Great deal and the wonton are the size of your fist and you get two. They also delivered to me in 12in of snow in 2014. I felt terrible for asking but they saved me when I had no food for days. You will not regret it.
We’ve been coming here for 10 years and it’s always a treat! Great food, quick service, friendly staff! Prices are reasonable too! We love it here!
Dragon & Phoenix Express
My daughter and I go to this restaurant every Saturdays after her tutoring at church. The food is always excellent. Food portions are always big and tasty. The owners are always so nice to us. We always get their orange chicken, shrimp with garlic sauce and shrimp fried rice. We highly recommend this place.
I placed an order at 630, and my food (even with a special request) showed up hot and exactly as I requested within 20 minutes. Best place for takeout Chinese food in the area!!
Hing San Chinese Restaurant
They apparently no longer deliver. I have to be careful because of allergies and they were the only ones who delivered that I could actually eat that didn't make me sick. I have difficulty walking to far so I won't be able to order from you anymore. Sorry to say you have lost my business. I hadn't ordered in a while and was trying to return to being the loyal returning customer I used to be. Unfortunately without delivery option I will not be able to.
Great place to get take out food prices are average food is great . Call ahead and get it and go
Lee's Asian Gourmet
I drive by Mr. Lee’s quite often. Today last minute decided to get some take out. I was promptly greeting by the nicest lady behind the counter and she quickly took my order. I didn’t have to wait very long for my lunch special Pepper Steak & Onion (my default order). The food was excellent, tasty and boy do you get a lot for lunch! I have reviewed my fair share of Chinese takeout and consider myself pretty good at making and eating Chinese food. (Take a look at my reviews :) ) Definitely will be back to try some of my other favorite dishes.
The beef with broccoli was amazing. For context, there's a place in Delaware that I would go out of my way for to get their beef with broccoli cuz it was the best I ever had, and this place is just as good. The rest of the meal was fine, we got meat dumplings that were decent enough, and the chicken mei fun was pretty bland, but man. The beef with broccoli. This place is a half hour drive for me and that alone makes it worth the trip
Far East Restaurant
Really happy they renovated the interior of the restaurant when they reopened awhile back, It needed the refresh. We've been coming here since I was a kid and the restaurant was located in the strip shopping plaza next door. We've had many private party functions upstairs when Stanley was the manager. These days we dine here mainly for their dim sum. It opens at 11 AM on Saturdays and 10:30 AM on Sundays. Get there early to avoid the wait. It's not as large as China Garden and New Fortune so you will have to wait if you come 15 minutes after opening. Can't go wrong with any of the dim sum offerings.
The food is soooo fresh and in huge portions that I didn't get to try all the dim sum plates I wanted! Oh well, I guess I have to go back 😆. I especially loved the sesame balls. They were so much better than at other dim sum places I've been to, trust. The service was top notch and I overall had a great time eating at this family owned gem!
Red Phoenix Hunan Restaurant
I really enjoyed the interior of this restaurant as well as the service. The tables were very clean neat and tidy, the colors were mostly gold and red and the cushioning was very comfortable. They had a bar area where you could order alcoholic beverages as pairings. They menu was very wide and consisted of a variety of American Chinese dishes. The food wasn’t too heavy on the flavor profiles so if you have allergies, this place is great as they don’t add a bunch of spices and flavors to their food. 🥘 I have them 3 stars because I enjoy flavors more so than anything when I go out to new restaurants and this restaurant seems to focus on the quantity of food and not so much the flavor. Me and my friend ordered the beef fried rice and vegetable Lo Mein. It’s served family style so it would enough for a family of four to each have a portion. Plenty of vegetables, noodles and rice.
The appetizers and soups here are amazing. The main dish portions generous and are the flavor you expect, very nice. Lunch between 2 people can be under $40.
Mei Wei
Great food. We typically call ahead or order online and pick it up. Food has ALWAYS been ready on time; this is important to me, not wasting anyone's time. It's hard to call this standard Chinese take out since it is much tastier, has a better menu and a bit more love put into the dishes. I'd call it elevated, not quite traditional or authentic like the Asian dishes my family makes at home, but definitely a different level than standard takeout. People are super friendly, service is great. Keep up the great work. I'll be back many times in the future.
This restaurant is pretty much the definition of mid in the kindest way possible. It was just okay. It fed us. I went with my family and it wasn't bad or good. My mother did leave feeling grossed out, I didn't try her plate, but apparently the shrimp tasted like it had dirt. My brother got the honey coconut chicken (I think that's what it's called?), I thought it was good with the first bite. Kind of tasted like it had the sauce from the coconut shrimp at Red lobster. But he said it was too sweet and got overwhelming after the first few bites. I got the orange chicken and it was the best of the meals, so perhaps that's why I'm being so lenient with this review. Still, best was just mid. It was okay, I thought it was decent but the flavor was very mild? Most of the things needed salt added. Service was great, our server was attentive and refilled drinks and brought napkins and stuff without them being asked for. He was friendly. The atmosphere was also just okay. A bit dirty as I sat in the booth seat next to some... Really dirty blinds. But it's not horrible, and it fed us. 80 something bucks with three people and tip.
Dumplings & Noodles Delight
This place is amazing. The food was great, the xiaolongbao was absolutely delicious. Just how a soup dumpling should be. I had an assortment of food, and all of it was really good and freshly made. The dumplings do take a bit for them to make. They make them to order, but it's worth the wait. I highly recommend checking this place out!
The food was amazing!! Attentive staff. Very kids friendly. I thought we ordered too much but ended up eating everything! We ordered the pan-fried boas, steamed pork dumplings, stir-fried noodles, and braised beef noodle soup. Definitely will be back!
Chef Chan’s the Original
The food was very good and good quality, and the service was fast and courteous! I really enjoyed the food. I had the Happy Family lunch special
Lunch menu. General Tso chicken. Sauce taste was good but the chicken was barely warm, as was the rice. And the egg roll was cold. Accompanied by the smallest bowl of soup I’ve ever had at a Chinese restaurant. But would say the soup tasted good. Just small. Mentioned this review to staff and they were totally indifferent. Went and bought a sandwich a few shops down and was disappointed enough I came back and showed them that I had to go and buy another lunch. Avoid. And $3 for a can of Diet Coke … seriously?
China Bridge
Nice small restaurant where only one server is needed. I ordered the lunch special Mongolian beef with fried rice and hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup did not have enough sour in it, and overall, it was a little too starchy as well. The Mongolian beef was okay. There was a char coal, smoky taste to it that overpowered the scallions. The fried rice helped with getting rid of some of that charcoal smoky flavor from the beef. Overall, it was okay.
Ok so I stop by to have lunch and it was very good and over all portions were just right and flavor is on par with traditional Chinese food. 1 Hot & Sour soup was good and tasty, flavor was just right and no sugar added, that’s how Hot & Sour soup should be. 2 the spring roll that comes with lunch is very good and handmade not like your package spring roll, definitely good and crispy! With homemade mustard and their chili it’s just another level 3 I had the Hunan Chicken and flavor definitely is excellent and the Vegetable is fresh and well blend with the taste. Over all definitely would be back and around this area, well if you tried you would come back again.
Shanghai bistro
Really enjoyed the dining experience here. Staff was attentive and friendly and the food was great. The crispy chicken with chili and peppers was just spicy enough without being too hot. All in all, would definitely come back here if I’m ever in the area.
Food was delicious! Portion sizes were great. We ordered the general chicken and the orange chicken, both were great. They use white meat for their chicken and I did not request it - wow! Would recommend. 10/10.
Bao's Cafe
Ordered chicken fried rice, shrimp lo mein, combo lo mein, general chicken, and shrimp pad tai, and pan fried dumplings. Everything was bland and taste the same. Really didn’t have a flavor other than grease and soy. For someone that doesn’t eat out rarely and wanted to treat themselves and the family I am highly disappointed. I picked this restaurant bc it said it had 4.2 star reviews but it was a 1 star. ⭐️ I will be reaching out to the restaurant bc it was unacceptable quality.
I was craving some fried rice…and let’s just say I was disappointed. I tried the steamed gyoza first, they were quite dry and not fully steamed. I figured the rice would be much better but I was wrong. You could tell the poor quality meat it had (beef/pork- couldn’t really tell what it was, had a strange texture), the shrimp and the chicken, were coated and didn’t taste great either. The rice didn’t taste fresh even though it was served steaming hot and the only veggies were cilantro and onions. The only highlight was the polite and nice staff as well as their cleanliness in the front of the house. I don’t think I’d be bold enough to go back and try more dishes, unfortunately it seems like they’re trying to get away with “bare minimum” dishes and not serve quality and taste.
