Came here for dinner on a Sunday night with my daughter. It wad pretty slow and most business seemed to be carry out. We were warmly welcomed by the man and woman behind the counter. The dining room is pretty no frills, but it was welt kept and clean. We ordered Orange Chicken and Hot & Sour soup, both of which were ready in ~10 minutes and were served hot and delicious. Great little "hole in the wall" find. We'll definitely be back!

First time trial - found results similar to other reviews. We ordered take-out and found the food was average but the price was very high for the portion size. The best? Steak teriyaki was very tasty. The worst? House fried rice was bland beyond bland, soggy as well. The steak teriyaki was portioned respectably, the house fried rice portion was embarrassingly small. For over $30 there was not enough food for 2 people who don't eat a lot. We had to cook some additional food to make a meal.

Smh. This the first time I ever threw out a platter of sesame chicken. I don’t even wanna get started with the lo mein. But here’s a pic. Why does the sauce taste like slimy salt water? Ughh

Shewww so this was a first time stop… and I’ve debated how to write this… the place has a cool vibe that should be excellent food. My co worker recommended this to me because i like mom and pop shops…. The sesame chicken was very not good… like slimy wet breading… with I think a home made sauce that had no flavor, and I don’t mean bad flavor, I mean none at all, it was quite deceiving actually haha. I handed out pieces amongst people and it’s like reddish salt water lol. Fried rice comes with nothing in it, I didn’t know that so I don’t knock them on that. I would next time ask for onions and sprouts or perhaps they should ask me. I got extra egg rolls to go, and there all shrimp, there main egg roll plain is a shrimp. So just know that incase you have anyone with a shellfish allergy. The wontons were home made and ok. I don’t knock them either. I want to like this place but it’s hard, maybe one more try in a month. The other dishes we got were similar in texture and colors. No one was happy but no one hated it… just pricey to not be good. I’d say gas station Chinese would be right on track with this place… maybe better lol. I will reorder the same thing and additional items to verify if it’s just a bad night. And then rescore accordingly.

Best lemon pepper chicken I e ever had I eat here all the time very good food very nice family business the staff is family and are very happy and nice to me every time I go in. They are such nice people

Food is good for the price. The owner has been servicing me great food here for years. I wish there was more of a place to sit down and enjoy your food. But it’s a great place to eat. I wish more places like this were in San Jose California. (Sweet n’ Sour chicken is good!)

they recharged my card and added their own tip after I left for takeout. I have the receipt, and I will be distributing the charge with the bank. the red flag was he made a comment complaining I didn't order enough. I think $8 is normal for lunch. (the wings were under cooked and not good flavor)

Everything was fine with the GLARING exception of the chicken chow mein. On the website it is described as a noodle dish. Literally EVERYWHERE else it is a noodle dish with vegetables. Here it is a bland, disgusting, and slimy soup with unseasoned chicken. And when I called them they insisted that I was the one who was wrong. Terrible management, the employees are cool though

I usually won’t write a bad review based on food alone, because food is pretty subjective...but the food and sauces were pretty bad, and that combined with the fact that we only tried this place based on the high ratings makes me feel compelled to add my own. The crab rangoon were better size than I expected based on the cheap price but they tasted terrible. The beef and other dishes were severely lacking in flavor. Teriyaki beef had no teriyaki taste at all. The scallion pancakes and house special rice were the only semi enjoyable items we got-but the pancakes came with some horrible sauce that I cannot even describe-definitely not the standard soy scallion ginger deliciousness that they usually come with! I’d be scared to try anything else from here unfortunately.

First time ordering here, never again! I was told 25 min, I arrived 30 min later and waited almost 10 more min for the food. Mind you the place was dead on a Friday night so that says something there. SO I thought if the food is good no big deal it will be worth the wait. Well that was not the case at all! The crab Rangoon has only cream cheese in it and nothing else. The General Gau's Chicken was battered and had no flavor. The rice was bland and also had no flavor. The egg roll was over cooked and the duck sauce was bland too! The only thing that was ok was the chicken wings and the prices are really cheap which is the only reason I gave two stars. Personally I got what I paid for and honestly looking around while I waited the place is so dirty and poorly kept it should be just shut down.

have been searching for great crab rangoon’s since moving near here and finally found them. wonderful food staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend

The service at Mandarin was good. The food was pretty standard. The crispy beef was, actually crispy and spicy, which I liked. They were very accommodating for a large party.

Wonderful experience. Dined with another couple for dinner. The service was friendly, efficient and Grace was knowledgeable about the menu items. We had several questions. Each of us tried different dishes and each enjoyed our meals. There are many menu options! Something for everyone. The atmosphere is calm and lovely. Quiet enough to share conversations and not feel like you're speaking over others. We will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a cooking demonstration by award-winning Chef Tom, and it was an unforgettable experience. Chef Tom’s passion for food was evident in every step of the demonstration, from his detailed explanations to his expert techniques. Not only was it educational, but the food itself was absolutely delicious. Every bite showcased Chef Tom’s creativity and mastery of flavor, leaving a lasting impression. The demonstration was well-organized, engaging, and left me inspired to try new recipes at home. I highly recommend attending visiting Blue Pearl if you get the chance—you won’t be disappointed!

Incredible menu, featuring 4 regions of food from around the world. An extensive menu of alcohol - beer, wine, mead, whiskey, bourbon. You name it. The food was delicious and the service was very good on a Monday night. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to Descendants Brewing for three years and the food and atmosphere used to be amazing. Unfortunately, over the past year, the experience has declined significantly. Since the chef change, the food quality has suffered. One visit, I was served raw chicken. On my latest visit, I ordered a $23 ravioli dish that barely had any ravioli, and the sauce was thin and watery. Fish and chips were burnt to a crisp and somehow still served. Beers listed on the menu are often unavailable, which is incredibly frustrating at a brewery. The service has also become more lackadaisical. We were given our check without the server asking if we wanted anything else such as dessert or another drink. It feels like they’re rushing customers out rather than creating a welcoming atmosphere. There seems to be a lack of effort/care. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat and try new beers, but after a year of decline, I can no longer recommend it. I hope things turn around, but for now, I won’t be making the trip back.

It's not just the only local Chinese food place, it's good. They're very polite, food is great, what else is the to say? While you can eat in, it's definitely geared more towards takeout and they're great at it.

Inconsistent, sometimes it's delicious and exactly what you would want, on other occasions it's mediocre. The prices are fair and the counter lady is very nice and sweet. Convenient for being in rural New Jersey.

Been sick for two days. Ordered egg roll and shrimp roll I suggest they change the fryer oil. Wonton soup yuk. Wontons were not fully cooked and the broth was like water no taste. Ordered Sunday still sick.

The food here is phenomenal. I order a steam dumpling, chicken and broccoli and general tso chicken. The food came out fresh and it was savory. Would 100 percent come back.

First timer here! However, definitely not my last visit! We came for a lunch, ordered curry with tofu and rice on the side and everything was perfect! Food came super fast, veggies were fresh, tofu was yummy and overall it definitely did hit the spot! I appreciate vegan options very much. The owner was super sweet and friendly, highly recommend to try their food out! Take care&see you very soon!

First time eating here since the pandemic, so it has been quite some time. I am shocked at how small the portion for the lunch special is and they don't offer a fortune cookie with your meal. It just seems like an obvious way the restaurant is cheap at the customers expense. The restaurant looks nice inside at least.
