Panda Express
Went to eat here after running a few errands mid- week, it was dead as we walked in and got to go right up to the glass to order. The food looked amazing. I did I noticed an older lady standing off to the side, just starting off into space, I saw one guy helping the fellow in front of us and one guy in the back cooking. Everyone seemed busy except for her. Well, it went on about 3 minutes of this guy in front of us being helped until she finally said something in another language at the guy serving and came to ask us "What do you want?" I was pretty taken aback and ask of a sudden our nice lunch out was turning. My boyfriend ordered quickly then my turn and with the same sweet demeanor (sarcasm dripping) she asked what I wanted. I wanted some won- tons as well. We got home and started to eat and about 2 bites in both of our stomachs were making weird noises. Then I tasted a won ton, took a huge mouthful of the stuff ( I love those things) only to discover the cream was changing. All I could taste was sour and I almost booked the in the living room. But I made it to the bathroom. I was flushing the toilet when my boyfriend rushed in, sitting down already as I was rushing out the bathroom door. The food may look appetizing, may even smell that way, but don't let that fool you. Take it from us, the garbage they piled on those Togo Styrofoams were just as sour as the service.
Ordered a bigger plate for delivery through the app. Got orange chicken, mushroom chicken and broccoli beef. Order arrived and there's no broccoli beef. Wtf? Received this instead, whatever this is. Smells spicy, which I can't do because my stomach is too sensitive. Everything else was good. They should ask what substitute you would prefer rather than just throw anything they feel like it in there.
Fortune City
Whatever you do, DO NOT order the honey chicken. It came with a cup of cold salad dressing instead of honey sauce with pineapples. It’s delicious salad dressing, but I would never put it on fried chicken pieces. When I called the restaurant, I was told that it is the correct sauce. I expected it to be like sweet and sour with warm sauce that you pour over the chicken, not cold salad dressing. And the beef lo mein is bad also. The flavor is just ok, but the noodles are thick and mushy. I spent $50 on this food and it was so bad I threw the full containers away. Don’t waste your money on this place. Fast food is better than this crap.
Tried this joint after receiving a mailer of a menu. We’ve been looking for a good Chinese takeout spot that delivers and I think we’ve found it. Their sesame chicken was the best that I’ve had here - lots of sauce and very flavorful. Their crab rangoon were great too. I judge all Chinese places by their pork fried rice and this one was good, but not my favorite, that I’ve had here in Lakewood. Their service was quick and easy and with two small kids at home, the delivery is truly a godsend. We’ll be repeat customers.
He-Xing Garden
Egg drop soup was made with perfect viscosity and flavor 10/10. Mapo tofu wasn’t spicy at all but had great flavor and texture—I’d ask for an attempt at Sichuan-level spicyness next time. Sesame chicken has a nice mild sweetness with a surprising level of crisp. Not usually a big fan of sweet stuff but the chicken was quite passable. Although not the most authentic flavors overall, I’d still come to try more when convenient.
Excellent service and clean she woman greeted us with a great vibe and the place was empty the hot tea was delightful and the food.... price is reasonable and I recommend it to any one who like the simple great tasting Chinese 😋
Chinese Gourmet
We ordered here for take out for the first time tonight. We really enjoyed our meals! We got the Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and the large hot and sour soup (water bottle for size reference of the soup). We appreciate the effort of putting the sauce on the side for the sweet and sour pork to help it stay crispy. It did steam in the box so it wasn’t as crispy as I imagine it would be if we dined at the restaurant. The order was ready when we came to pick it up within 15-20 minutes of ordering online ~5pm on a Saturday night. Everything was hot, the bell peppers, onions and such were clearly fresh in the dishes and everything seemed made to order. Flavors were what we expected. The sesame chicken was my favorite. It was perfectly sweet, savory, perfectly crispy, with just enough spice. My husband picked it up so I didn’t see the restaurant to comment on atmosphere and service. But based on the quality of the food and for a decent price we will definitely order again. It’s really good and seems to deserve at least 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Update: We ordered take out again. The Walnut shrimp is super good. It was crispy and the sweet creamy sauce was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I’ve had versions of this elsewhere with honey dew melon. This version has pineapple and it’s really good. The chowmein is not what I expected as it’s a different type of noodle and sauce than I’ve had before but it’s good. We ordered the vegetarian one and I love that there is a generous amount of vegetables in it. As before, everything tasted freshly made, the produce was fresh and of good quality. This restaurant will definitely continue to be in our rotation.
Great service food portions were huge! Had to get to go boxes! Enough for lunch the next day! Prices were good! Service was great! Dinner for two with poo poo platter, bring your appetite!
Golden Taipei Chinese Restaurant
I’m staying close to here so decided to go by for lunch. I did take out. They have your typical lunch specials like any other place but their lunch special was on the smaller side. I was expecting a lot more food and it wasn’t even all that great. I would definitely go to any other Chinese restaurant around and get more bang for your buck. Now I see why the place always looks empty.
I have been coming here since I was a child, still great food and great service. Their moo goo gai pan is the best i’ve ever had. Thank you Golden Taipei for serving our community fantastic Chinese food for decades!
Jack in the Box
We walked in to eat at the Jack in the Box Arvada because we had a horrible experience at Cracker Barrel! We stood at the register at Jack in the Box nobody came up to take our order. When there were 3 workers behind the counter 1 on her phone. So we walked out! Guess we should just eat at home it’s been a night
Worst Jack in Box in a nice neighborhood, but this restaurant is literally a run down ghetto or second ward. Homeless man was loitering outside and someone left a mess on a table inside. Drink fountain are almost always out of drinks so I had to choose other drink I didn’t like or want. Bathroom was unsanitary and it stinks when I entered to just wash my hands. Workers look like they woke up and didn’t even bother to look at their best and some seemed to have a lousy attitude. Cashier is not thrilled to work as he (not a she with red lips and two short hair tied up) is only interested in showing whatever was on his mobile phone to his coworker. They should be working harder and keeping this facility clean, neat, organized, and clean. If bathroom stinks, it’s most likely the kitchen is just as filthy. I received a cold food. I can get cold food at home from my refrigerator so this defeated the restaurant’s purposes. Napkin dispensers were empty. One trash was nearly full, but workers were busy doing something not related to work. I know this one guy seemed serious who also works at Popeye’s, I’m cool with him. I wonder whether or not the manager or much less the owner is ever around to bring it up to standard according to franchise expectations and local regulations. I don’t think the owner really cares. Apology from the owner does not excuse from accountability as the owner is enabling this to continue. Will I ever go back here again? That remains to see based on owner changing or just apologizing, but nothing happens. If I was to purchase this place, all staff will be terminated and ask the owner for 50% discount for poor maintenance. Poor performance overall. I went there today and pictures from my mobile are evidence of how poorly run this place is. City of Wheat Ridge won’t be happy.
Panda Express
GM Owner: Amed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best franchise in the city! Store was understaffed & waited but the GM did an amazing job accommodating the line & hauling the workload. Having been in the F&B industry for over 10 years, it's rare to see unicorn service standard! 1st time in this location!
I placed a mobile order on April 7, 2025. The app said the order should be completed by 8:55. I showed up around 8:48 and waited patiently for my order. It got to be 9:03 or so before anyone even asked if I had been helped. By this time, there was 1 other customer in the store. The manager finally asked me if I had been helped and I politely said that I had a mobile order and shared the name it was under. The manager then proceeded to do other tasks and didn’t even look for my order. I then waited for 20 more minutes for them to tell Me that we were waiting for my order. The manager started talking to one of the employees and Didn’t seem to be in any rush to Get my order completed. The only items on my order were 4 egg rolls and a medium orange chicken Ala Carte. I finally got my order and received no apology or action to make it right. There was no communication and I waited for 30 minutes for an order that probably should’ve taken 10 to 15 minutes tops. From the time I placed the order at 8:40 to when I actually was walking out the door with the food at 9:17, it took them 37 minutes to complete this simple order. Food tasted decent. The same way that panda always does, but the customer service was horrible. This store needs better management and better customer service.
Panda Express
Just ordered a bowl and some cream cheese rangoons, the service was fine but when i had already ate the bowl i went for a rangoon to see that it had a FRIED SPIDER in the crevice. clearly cooked with the rangoon and dead in my food. i had almost mistaken it for burnt food and now im trying not to throw up what i already ate.
So this location apparently does not give napkins in the drive thru. The only option is A) The single folded napkin that comes in their shrink wrapped plasticware (which I'm not going to use because I prefer chopsticks), or B) I can go inside and grab napkins myself from their napkin dispenser. This comes straight from their manager Isaias. They would rather waste plasticware and hand me several of those, rather than just hand me some napkins. Make this make sense somehow. A ridiculous waste and inconvenience. I spent $30 on food, we're going to make a mess!
Panda Express
usually panda will stack your plate, not at this location, greens were bland and rice was mid, the 5 pieces of chicken i got were cold. i shouldve read the reviews before coming to this location
So… it is in a mall. A serious minus for the crowds though there is a nearby carousel. The service was fast for a Panda, but was so crowded they were almost forced to be. And to top it all off, something, maybe the Super Greens, was WAY oversalted. It was like taking bites of pure salt instead of tasting the cooking. Can’t say that I recommend it.
Peking Garden
I was hoping I could make this my to go to Chinese restaurant, I ordered the Shrimp Kung Pao, egg drop soup and Orange Chicken for the kiddos. I get that every restaurant makes their own version of menu items However I was just little disappointed because there was no scallions and bell peppers. I opted to have no peanuts or cashews in my Kung Pao. It did come with a generous portion of shrimp, celery, mushrooms, snap peas, potatoes, and the Spiciness was just right. I couldn’t have asked for any better egg drop soup. I also ordered the steamed fried rice and steamed white rice. They kiddos liked their orange chicken. I think it could have used a little more of the glaze mixture for the orange chicken. When I went it was a week or so ago, they had it blocked off, no dine in was allowed the employee stated they were short staffed. I’m still going to come back. From a scale of 1 thru 10, I will give it an 8 and half stars ⭐️ I can bet you will like it here.
The food was very good and beautifully presented. I got the vegetable green curry and the flavor was great with a great variety of yummy vegetables.
New Panda
Fantastic meal and great service. Very large menu with GF options. We arrived late for dine in and were treated very well. We will be back on our next visit to Golden!
The sesame "chicken" was primarily fried batter balls. Seriously as soon as I started eating I could tell there was hardly any actual chicken. I cut every piece in half. At least half of them HAD NO CHICKEN! The chicken that was there were very small pieces surrounded with an enormous amount of the batter. Hardly any sauce. Waste of money. Flavor was ok, but that doesn't save it. Paid $3 for the ridiculously small amount of crispy noodles for egg drop soup. Maybe 1/4 cup? Horrible all around won't order again.
Asian Chefs
A suitable establishment for a brief repast. On a Sunday afternoon at approximately noon, we encountered a tranquil ambiance, which was agreeable. The culinary offerings were of satisfactory quality and were prepared with remarkable speed. The wonton soup arrived at our table before I had completed my wonton soup. The wonton soup was particularly delectable, and the wonton itself was exceptional. The ingredients were of exceptional freshness and quality. The staff exhibited both friendliness and efficiency.
The food tastes fine. But the portions are about 1/3 of other Chinese joints around here. It’s the same price as Hunan Dynasty but not as good and a tiny portion. I would have to order 2 lunch meals to be filled up. I understand wanting g to keep food costs down, but it is noodles…
