Golden Plate II
The staff was friendly and our food came out very quickly. We got the Family dinner and I chose the Sizzling Beef Tenderloin w/Black Pepper which was delicious! The Spicy Shrimp w/Hot & Sour Garlic Sauce my wife got as her entree was also very good.
This place is a hidden gem in Lakewood! It's located in an older shopping center so it's not super easy to find, but worth it if you're in the area. We ordered the Hong Kong Special Pan Fried Noodles along with the Volcano Steak, which they actually lit on fire! The food was delicious and the staff was quite attentive. I will be returning here soon.
Thai Monkey Club
Every time we order from here the food is great. We like the green curry and pineapple fried rice the best but all options are tasty. They have great service and they’re fast. Reasonably priced and great value.
Incredible authentic tasting Thai, I am always blown away by the incredible flavors I get to try here! I ordered the Kana Moo Krob and it was exquisite I cannot stop thinking about it! My boyfriend ordered the Green Curry with Mock Duck and Tofu he cannot stop raving about it either! Their appetizers and Thai tea are also a favorite of ours! Lastly the incredible staff and wonderful woman running the front are always very inviting and accepting of all people ❤️
s'ONO!
One of the best places to get your lunch on campus. I can't speak to its authenticity, but the flavor of the sushi rolls on menu are delicious. I'm a particular fan of their dragon roll or is it spider roll? The one with the crab on top and the spicy Mayo. The pricing isn't bad, especially for sushi and especially for downtown. And they offer pre-made boxes in case you're in a rush which I usually am. Their drinks aren't bad, but there are better options within the Tivoli I'm sure you're aware.
Loved the loco moco. I’m not even in college cause I dropped out but will definitely be back here for the kimchi soup. Prices are very good too.
Phở Fusion Asian
I wanna love this place so much but every time I come in here I’m just never satisfied. I have to stop coming honestly. For $18 this is a combination noodle bowl nothing but fat on the beef. The chicken had no flavor and two pieces of shrimp. You mostly got bean sprouts with hardly any vegetables and one little tiny eggroll for the price that you pay. It’s not worth it. I’d rather go to a nicer Vietnamese place and get better quality
Went to get take away pho large size. I went to pick it up and brought it home. The soup wasn’t filled all the way, barely a handful of bean sprouts. The portion size was obviously a medium not a large. I went and called and confront and the guy just stopped responding. And then hung up I would not get take away pho here. Spend 18$ for a large pho which turned out to be medium. Extreme upset with the service. But the food was good.
Chi’s Express
It was my first time here and oh my gosh it it was amazing. the best Chinese food I’ve had so far the guy was so nice and sweet, me and my family will definitely go back they just opened so pls come and give them business they are great. Very cheap and a good amount a good for the price
What a fantastic find! We drove 30 minutes just to try this sweet Chinese restaurant, and I can confidently say it was well worth the journey! From the moment I placed my takeout order, the staff were incredibly friendly and funny, making the whole experience enjoyable. The portions? Absolutely generous! We were pleasantly surprised by how much food we received, and the flavors were delightful. To top it all off, they included complimentary drinks with our order, which was such a nice touch! It’s rare to find a takeout spot so chill in Denver’s range. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're in the mood for delicious Chinese food and a bit of fun, don’t hesitate to give this charming restaurant a try. We’ll definitely be back for more!
China Kitchen
My family and I frequent this place numerous times because we like the food and is also priced reasonably. Although it's rare for us to not always really enjoy our meal at 100%, most of the time we really like it. Staff is always friendly and welcoming too.
Not sure how this has 4 stars. I cook better Chinese. Fried rice tasted like dog food smells. The chicken in the main dishes was tough, should have known better from a buffet style service. Wantons were cold. Overall taste of the food wasn't even average. The reason for two stars is I fed a family of 4 for $20.
Zume Asian Cuisine
The food was good but unfortunately the service was not great. I am not sure if they had staffing issues or if this is their normal way of operating, but when we were there, there was a girl working the register and I believe she was the waitress, and busser, and doing all front of house work. I say "I believe" because even with nobody in line, we were not brought drinks until I approached the register and asked. We had to ask for silverware, and chopsticks. The service was not good, at all. I also was asked by a man standing in front of the liquor store next door if I wanted to buy drugs. So, that was neat. The food was good, and I would eat it again. Maybe takeout is a better idea next time.
Love this restaurant! It’s pretty close to where I work, and there aren’t a lot of Thai options in the area so was SO happy when I discovered Zume!! I usually get the Drunken Noodles with tofu and veggies, but there are a number of vegan options. The service is fantastic, and the restaurant has recently been remodeled and looks great. Highly recommend.
Mr PANDA & PHO
Helped a friend move into the area, and as a recovery lunch the next day, this spot immediately caught my attention with its high rating and delicious photos. Boy, we were NOT disappointed! Service was amazing. The menu was easy and covered a few different types w/o being overwhelming and priced well. Service was very attentive, and the food came out fast, hot, and had a freshness to it that was so awesome. The noodles tasted like they were just made! Will absolutely be visiting again when in the area!
This place is amazing. My husband ordered the Mongolian Beef and I had the Combo Rice Noodle Bowl. It was absolutely delicious and fresh. My husband said the Mongolian Beef was very good and the beef was tender. Portion sizes were generous. We will definitely return and try even more of their dishes soon! Add on 1/19/25: We went for lunch today and this restaurant never disappoints! The prices are minimal and their servings are phenomenal. Today I had Chicken and Broccoli and it came with soup, I chose hot and sour and it also included an egg roll. The soup was delicious, better than PF Chang's and the egg roll was yummy. My chicken was excellent! My husband had the chicken drunken noodles. He enjoyed every bite and now is his favorite. We love this restaurant. ☺️
Golden Coast
It was recommended that I check out this restaurant by a friend. From the moment we walked in was greeted with a smile, so friendly. The menu is very large and quite the selection. I was told to try the chicken wings! So crispy and tasty loved them! Can’t wait to get back and try again. Thank you so much for the amazing dinner. Nori was awesome. Thank you again.
Take out on a Monday. Food was ready promptly. The host checked and double checked the food in front of me. Always appreciated. Crab rangoons were bland. Same with the egg drop soup, but the crunchy noodles helped. Chicken fried rice was also missing flavor. Lastly, the hot spice pork. I asked it for it extra spicy. I’m glad I did. It was delicious. Usually better than this.
Rice Bowl 1
The staff here is great and friendly. Egg drop soup is very well made reminds me of getting it homemade as a kid. Sesame chicken great not a fan of the General Taos has almost no heat. No black pepper chicken option. My only real complain is every time my eggrolls are over cooked. Just wonderful staff.
So we tried Rice Bowl 1 for dinner, the reason they are called Rice Bowl 1 is because you go there one time and you are done. The chicken noodle soup had zero taste, the noodles were soggy and the few pieces of chicken were about as bland as it gets and had a consistency of rubber. The fried dumplings were soaked in whatever sauce and not like any fried dumplings I had ever seen, they looked gross and tasted worse. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was basically tiny chicken pieces hidden in greasy inch thick dough. I tried the Sesame Chicken, not sure when it was made but it tastes like it was hours ago and every piece was hard like fried wood chips. The plain fried rice and lo mein were totally tasteless, the were both beyond plain. The last dish we tried was the Hibachi Chicken, the dish was swimming in sauce, the chicken was tough, rubbery and not fresh. This was not a cheap dinner and the food was complete crap, I have been to 80 to 100 Asian restaurants and this was by far the worst food i was ever served. I doubt the people working there know how to cook, this was a disaster. For dessert we tried the Donuts, the were not fresh, not sure if the were made 7 hours or 7 days ago. I'm so disappointed in this place. Warning for all go anywhere else it will be better. All portions were large but what does that help if the food is terrible. Maybe they need to focus on quality instead of quantity. The only good thing about the food was the fortune cookies, they were fresh and were made in Stone Mountain, GA, not in Denver, NC. This place needs to be visited by the health department because I believe the chicken was all expired or precooked or the place needs to be renamed to Really Bad Asian Cook
China II Denver
It's not a fancy place to eat, and lots of folks get their food to go, but the food is made to order and delicious every time. I rate Chinese restaurants by comparing their chicken with cashew nuts dish and by far China II is perfect every time. The carrots and celery have just the right bit of crunch that let's you know everything is made fresh.
3.19.2025 i was flying a kite across the street yesterday & worked up an appetite China 2 in Denver ? YES - I'M IMPRESSED ! IT'S AN EXCELLENT STOP ! I'm in the Denver 16/73 area frequently. China 2 has a GRRRREAT (Guy-Sized) Lunch Special. This is a to go & deli style atmosphere & not an upscale dining experience. BUT the great flavors i found here are definitely upscale & beyond my expectations 2 THUMBS UP & 5 STARS ! (I'll Be Back)
Mr. Chef Asian Bistro
Stopped by this tiny little Chinese restaurant that just switched over to new owners. You can tell they put a lot of pride into their food as The food is amazing!! I ordered some appetizer and main dishes… the potato cheese balls are to die for!! And the general Tao chicken was perfectly crispy, the chef said that they don’t use flour to batter so the chicken stays crispy even upon deliveries. My dad ordered the thin noodles which had veggies and meat, he loved it. I definitely would recommend that you give this place a try, we need more small businesses like these to thrive :)
Stopped by this Asian restaurant today and was blown away by the experience! The food was amazing ,everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The server went above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service. Will definitely be coming back again soon.
