Magic Wok
Got the fried rice, chicken and broccoli, and general tsos chicken. The fried rice looked good, but lacked flavor. The general tsos flavor was good, but the chicken wasn’t crispy, but chewy. The broccoli was well flavored. The chicken in the chicken and broccoli was lacking flavor. The staff member exchange was fine. She smiled and gave me an extra fork when I asked.
The rice tasted and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke!!! I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel the need to this time. I ordered vegetable fried rice (along with other items; see picture) from here tonight, 9/21/24, and the rice tasted and smelled like straight cigarette smoke. It was absolutely disgusting. It was so strong and caused some of my other food to smell and taste like cigarettes as well. I ended up eating a couple pieces of chicken and throwing the rest away. My husband and I are both not smokers, so it had to be from an employee or something. I’m disappointed because I’ve eaten from here before and the food was okay.
New Asian Buffet
The Food was great other than maybe a couple of dishes needed to be a little warmer. The dishes that they had were very tasty. But no pepper Chicken. Or peanut Chicken. No soft ice cream. But the price was reasonable. $26.93. including two people with drinks. All you can eat and drink. The only reason I didn't give them the full five Star rating on food. Was personal preference. Pepper and peanut Chicken and soft ice cream
A couple of first timers here. First walked in, the staff was friendly and polite. Smiles all around. Drinks were good. We showed up towards the end of the night. We didn't feel rushed at all. They would kindly ask us if they could take our plates when they were cleared of food or ask if we wanted refills. I see nothing wrong with the signs that say don't waste food. I think that's something everyone should follow. Overall, our experience was great. Total for 2 people for dinner was about 30 dollars, which wasn't bad. We had our fill. Thank you for having us.
China One
Stopped by for some quick takeout. It was delicious. The service was so great and fast. We’ll definitely be back!
No frills Chinese food restaurant that accommodated my special request, were super friendly, and made a really great garlic sauce!
Happy Family
The best Chinese food in this area. I am a regular customer of this restaurant. They have been in business for more than 20 years.
Couldn't even finish my plate. Chicken had a strange texture and the sause had a lot of dye in it. Price for a combo plate was right around the average of 10 dollars so not too pricey just didn't enjoy at all.
Golden Dragon
To-go order... it was ready, spoons, forks, sauces, cookies... very well packed and the food was good... very nice lady at the front counter, helpful and clean attentive to detail
Thanks for the worst egg roll i have ever received. I get mistakes happen and things burn. But this should have never reached a customer. This was my go to Chinese food spot. Lost my business 🙃
Great Wall
We stayed at the Kalahari and went here to dine outside the resort and save some money. It seemed like mostly a take out place. They did however have a large booth and a table to dine at inside. The atmosphere was somewhat lacking but we didn't mind..They had a steady stream of people coming and going for takeout. They do not deliver. The food was all very delicious. It came out in a timely matter. We got the house fried rice, shrimp dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, coconut shrimp and two orders of crab rangoons and five sodas. It cost less than $70 for everything. I loved the house fried rice. Best I've had in awhile. The rangoons and coconut shrimp were really good aswell. Definitely recommend checking this place out. Not sure if the food was so good because we dined in or what.
I wouldnt realy plan to eat there. Food is great. Coconut shrimp was amazing. Egg Foo young was also good. Gravy was a bit thick but very flavorful. Steamed dumplings on point.
Chinatown
Not the best, not the worst. Def worth it if u are close by and dont wanna drive far. Everythings been ok except boneless spareribs. Maybe just a bad night but were not edible. I will keep going but prob never get boneless spareribs again. Staff is great!!!!
If your from NYC or North Jersey the food taste nothing from what your use too . 😢
Wing Hwa
Take out only. Had chicken rice soup, pork egg roll, chicken fried rice and boneless spare ribs. Every thing tasted good, was hot. Boneless spare ribs are small straps. Onions in fried rice could of been cooked more. I enjoyed my dinner tonight.
Used to be a good place but recently food has been inedible. General tsos is so spicy you can’t swallow it, and lo mein is dry. The place is also extremely sketchy. Only the front room is visible and from what I’ve seen in the back it’s repulsive. They also have like a 5 year old working the counter.
Guy Fieri’s Mt. Pocono Kitchen
Enjoyed a wonderful, delicious and fresh dinner followed by breakfast the following morning. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant is clean and very convenient since it’s located inside of the casino at Mount Airy Casino Resort. Our server at dinner Diane was friendly, and very responsive to us. Thank you Diane. 20240926 Another nice visit, food was great. I have to say much better than at other locations.
Pass on the cauliflower shareable appetizer not sure what it tasted like. 🤯 The painkiller drink ok … cute cup I think they forgot the rum. Asked to speak to the manager still waiting for him. 👴 Drove off route to come here because really was expecting something else. Presentation was pretty picture perfect.
HO HO Wok Chinese Restaurant
This place was recommended to me by our hotel, otherwise I would have probably skipped it based on the rating. However, I am glad I didn't because the food was quite good. It has been a very long time since I've eaten at a Chinese restaurant, but this place reminded me good, old fashioned American Chinese food. We all liked our meal. I just wish I got my meal spicy instead of mild.
Good food, pleasant place. I gave service a 3 because I have been here multiple times and have yet to be asked if I would like any sauce with my food. If I don't check my bag and ask, I won't have it when I get home.
China Moon
Food is so good. First bite makes me levitate. I’m hungry just thinking about it 🤤 General Tso’s is unbelievable!
Location: Giant Center, 859 Nazareth Pike (Rt. 248 & 191, Nazareth, PA 18064 (Next To Dominos Pizza). There are a few Chinese Restaurants in the area. However, China Moon is hands down "The Best". Their food is always fresh, plentiful, and great tasting. Since the food is made fresh, it takes about ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes to prepare. Still not bad... I've tried The Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Shrimp Rolls, Shrimp w/ Broccoli, Fried Chicken Wings and more. I've NEVER been disappointed. The Shrimp w/ Broccoli is always hot, crispy and fresh. One will recieve enough for two people to eat. Check out the vast menu. Don't forget "The Fortune Cookies. They are the tasteful ending. The Owners are friendly and professional. It's a "GREAT" Experience. Just be mindful that everything is Carryout. This is a YUMM... YUMMM... YUMMMMMM Recommendation. PLEASE LIKE, RATE & FOLLOW ME...... ASK OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.....
Number One
Best lomein I’ve ever had. Spring rolls are great. Chicken and broc is amazing. Delivery guy is awesome, price is 👌. I never order from anywhere else. The very few times my order has been messed up they’ve rectified it immediately and without a problem.
I'd say this is the best Chinese food in this area. Now... be forewarned, the guy who runs the place, and usually takes the orders over the phone, is not the most personable, or even nicest person. They won't win any awards for customer service here. But put in a clear and concise order, know what you want and don't waste their time, and you can prepare to have some of the best Chinese food this area has to offer. I recommend the General Tso's Chicken, I ask for it "extra crispy, extra spicey" and it's just perfect. Veggie Fried Rice is very good. Egg Rolls are slamming.
