Grew up in PA and moved out west when I was 16. Went to bazaars when I was young with my grandparents and parents. Ate halushki, pierogies and piggies in a blanket at those festivals. These taste just like those. Thus place took me back 20 to 25 years ago. Their stromboli is amazing too! Thank you!

Oh. My. God. If you are on the fence about trying this restaurant, don't hesitate RUN! They are SO GOOD!! Everything we ate was a 10, I can't pick just one item as my favorite. We live out of state, and I can promise we will be back every time we are in Penn! Also, the owners are absolutely lovely! So sweet!

I was greeted very quickly and had a menu and drink in a few minutes. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great. The fried chicken was not greasy and had a great flavor. It was just before noon and there were customers inside but it wasn't crowded and it was quite. I ordered lunch, ate my food, and got some work done in under 40 minutes. You will need some quarters for parking but I spent less that $20 for a good meal. I would definitely recommend trying this place and I will be back for more.

This is a great stop for breakfast with very unique decor and a comfortable atmosphere. I had a western omelette that exceeded my expectations and some delicious home fries. Prices were very very reasonable and you dont leave hungry. The boy even ate all of his eggs which is a rare occasion. Service was fast and friendly and overall a great experience.

It smells weird inside and most of the vegetables were not fresh at all. They do have some interesting non-food items. Most of the stuff is it priced and I find that super annoying. I did find a large butcher knife that is very sturdy

The store is amazing and the staff are very nice! The food is also always fresh. They have a variety of items ranging from South to East Asia. If you want a diverse palate without wasting your time going to different stores you will be very content at the Ghalley Family Food Mart!

This review is for Halal Kennedy on Keyser, not a japanese place or whatever is going on with this page. Gyro is excellent, fries are excellent. Lamb over rice is excellent. I got the fried chicken once and it was good too. Everyone there has been friendly. The food here is delicious and the portions are good. What else do you want?

We mostly take out from Oishi since their dine in option was unavailable during the pandemic. They recently reopened their dine in service. We are thoroughly impressed by the wide array of Japanese cuisine on offer. The menu boasts a fantastic selection of dishes that cater to various tastes and preferences, but our absolute favorites are the shrimp teriyaki and steak teriyaki bento boxes. The shrimp teriyaki was perfectly cooked, with a delightful combination of tender shrimp and a savory, slightly sweet teriyaki glaze that complemented the flavors beautifully. The steak teriyaki was equally impressive, featuring succulent, juicy pieces of steak, cooked to perfection and drenched in a rich, flavorful teriyaki sauce. Each bento box was thoughtfully arranged, including rice, fresh salad, and a variety of sides that made for a well-rounded and satisfying meal. The portions were generous, and the presentation was both appealing and appetizing. The staff are attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Fast service, large menu, and well presented, delicious sushi. They also have great soups, salads, appetizers, hibachi, soba noodles, and more on their menu.

Very nice hibachi experience that my young daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The food quantity is immense. The serving size for one person is enough for an entire table. I enjoyed the crab roll and my daughter enjoyed the hibachi. I sadly can’t enjoy certain oily foods etc. because of a medical condition. The restaurant is handicapped accessible and the staff are very nice and friendly. Overall, a nice experience. Not one that I personally enjoy, but my daughter enjoyed their chicken and shrimp hibachi that comes with udon noodles and fried rice with eggs. Nice little gem of a restaurant.

August 12, 2024 - Context is important , when reviewing a “ Buffet “ ! My wife and I go out to restaurants of all shapes , cuisines, and countries. Understanding the nature & operation of a Buffet helps when passing judgement. 1. A buffet is not a restaurant in reality. 2. Buffets are for serving clients quickly! 3. Buffets offer many entrees & sides 4. Tough to keep hot entrees hot & fresh 5. Food consistency changes as it sits 6. Goal, offer quantity fast, quality suffers * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * My advice is to avoid the breaded entrees! Sitting under heat lamps ruins the dish such as sesame chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Mongolian Beef, breaded Shrimp is a NO ! Stay with entree meats that were cooked in hot oil & veggies. Try to watch as the staff adds a fresh tray , and run for that option! It’s fresh and the consistency is perfect out of the kitchen! Fried rice is generally fine the 1st hour or so under a heat lamp. The soups are OK, ingredients don’t include dairy /milk . . . Prefer not to let sit long! I like a hot & sour soup. . . then I add mushrooms, bits of pork, or chunks of chicken, or shrimp 🍤 to kick up that choice with hot sauce! Veggies are suppose to be crunchy in most Chinese entrees! Usually cooked or steamed quickly. Folks in the U.S. over cook veggies to mush! I guess it’s tradition or poor dental health. As veggies sit under heat lamps the crunchy crispness in veggies are lost. To wrap up, a Chinese Buffet will NOT give you the freshness , crispness , and quality of a true cuisine of a top Chinese Restaurant. So . . . our experience was reasonable to my expectations of a buffet. Quick , with lots of choices. Go into a buffet . . . Knowing the parameters. Thanks to our server, and cashier at the front desk, Diane! Her family has owned & operated this China Buffet for 12 years! Maybe your family might transform this into a top notch Chinese Restaurant! Customers would have to wait 15 to 30 minutes for a chef prepared meal in one of the eight true Chinese Regional Cuisines! 😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I had the all you can eat buffet & it was very tasty & a great variety. The restaurant us very clean & the wait staff was great! It will be my new buffet choice.

After reading the mixed reviews, we were initially apprehensive about dining here. However, our cravings for Chinese food led us to give it a try regardless as we were only passing through this town tonight. The reviews did prepare us well for what to expect, particularly regarding the customer service. While we did find the service efficient and prompt, I can empathise with the reviewers who felt it lacked ‘warmth and hospitality’. Despite this, our food portions were spot on, the food was flavourful and fresh. We enjoyed our meals and took the time to thank the cooks for our delicious meals.

The rice was good even though they charge extra for brown rice🙄. Liked my fortune. Other than that it was inedible. The chicken used was disgusting. Must be the thigh or something. Tough and fatty. Utterly flavorless. Threw it away. For the money they charge they can’t even use decent chicken. I’ll never go back

We have lived up here for 5 years and have tried pretty much every Chinese restaurant in the area. They start out decent enough but they always wind up disappointing. We have never tried this place because I always forget they are down in Dingmans Ferry but last night my husband Googled Chinese food near us and this place came up so we decided to try it. We did read the reviews so we were not hopeful. How wrong are these reviews! If you are judging this place is food by their appearance you are doing a disservice to yourself and to anyone else that reads the reviews. I went in thinking the worst to pick up my food and looked around to find this place is very clean. Yes it's old and dated but we find that some of the best old and dated places have the best food and this place did not disappoint in that area. We are from Brooklyn New York so we have had some of the worst and the best Chinese food we've ever tasted. And if you are at all familiar with Williamsburg Brooklyn there was a place called Kam-Wah that had the absolute best food in our area. My husband and I would both put this food from China Delight up against kam-wah any day if they were still open. Is it as good as Wo-Hop Manhattan probably not, but their food was absolutely perfect. We ordered a lot of food for the house including the pepper steak, the roast pork fried rice, the vegetable fried rice, the beef fried rice, boneless spare ribs, chicken noodle soup, chicken rice soup, they gave us a dozen of their donuts for free as a thank you and my husband's in order a few things that I cannot even name and he is a cynic when it comes to Chinese food. He is not a fan of Chinese food at all he is a pizza person but he was not feeling good last night and he wanted the soup and he cannot believe how amazing their food was. So please before you write any review on this place I hope you read this and overlook their appearance or anything else judge them solely on their food because it was absolutely delicious. As far as I am concerned it was absolutely nothing wrong with their restaurant. Everything was clean from the floors to the counter and even all the stainless steel from the kitchen that you could see it was all very clean. I spoke with the girl behind the counter while she was begging up out food and she told me they've been there for 17 years and possibly even longer but that is how old she is and she knows they have been there her whole life she was so nice and polite and friendly and so were the other people I wave to behind the counter. All I have to say is I know we have found a new home in China Delight. We will be ordering from them anytime we want Chinese and now that I've tasted their food I could say I hope we order Chinese more often. To me this is the Hidden Gem of Dingmans Ferry and Milford!!! 9/7/24 UPDATE My mom came to visit for the month & we were craving Chinese food.. I ordered again from China Delight to see what she thought about their food vs Long Island & NY in general & she LOVED IT too! If there was one thing I could do without is the peas in the Roast pork fried rice. They are never cooked until they're soft & in general I just don't like them in my rice. LOVE that they put egg in it though!

Order food off Uber eats , food was still hot when we got it , but that's as far as it goes , food was so greasy like the fries were literally translucent they were soaked in so much oil, even the fried rice , all you could taste was grease. We asked for them to add an egg to the fried rice and they didn't . No tartar sauce for the scallops . Couldn't even get through any of the meals . Extremely disappointing. The first and last time we will ever order food here .

Good customer service but the food quality could be a lot better! They were good at one point. Twice I came to get the General Szo and it was hard, old and not at all worth eating it was last of money. I thought the first time was a bad batch when my finance didn’t agree with it. Second time I came and had to get my money back and the gentleman gave me no problem.

The roast pork egg foo young was awesome. Egg rolls are nice and crispy. Beef and Broccoli is also very good. Great service. Very friendly.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, inside is simple and efficient. My husband ordered a spicy Szechuan beef and he said it was REALLY good. My Buddhist delight was rich and satisfying. would come again.

In my opinion, it's absolutely the best Chinese food around town. The staff is excellent, very polite and considerate. The atmosphere is always great. I highly recommend it.

Been ordering here at Pocono 1 since we moved to PA. It was always good until the last order. I ordered Eggplant with garlic sauce and when I went home they gave me broccoli with garlic sauce. When I called they put the blame on me and telling me that they don’t me me as customer. Totally horrendous treatment. Will never Ever go back. I recommend to not ever go order from Pocono 1. Food sucks and workers sucks!!

Surprisingly this is a good spot I've been close to the past few years. This whole time I was going to Stroudsburg for my chinese food. Silly me
