Lucky Start
I've been here three different times. First time it was a good experience, big portion, and the food was not great but good. Second time they switched from the great paper containers to foam containers and the portion was a little smaller. Overall not good. The third time however, they switched to a tiny plastic containers with two compartments and the portion much smaller even. On top now they charge $2.08 additional for the choice of noodles instead of rice. So about $17.00 dollars for a meal that after I was done I was still hungry. I've told them personally that I will not be back. I just don't see the value in it. So, Lucky Start you did good at the Start but, if you've noticed that lately you're business is slow, it will get much slower if you don't get back to that first Start. Good Lucky. I will not be returning.
The food in the meat and all that might taste really well, but it was blah and they have no sauces for you to add. I love teriyaki sauce and all that they had nothing for you to put on it whatsoever. I just didn’t think it taste very well I won’t be back ?!!🤨😢
Panda Express
Felt the need to leave a review as this location has a lot of bad reviews. I went in after reading a lot of really bad reviews, but I was craving panda anyway. It was fairly busy, a few people ahead of me and a lot sitting down eating already. I was served promptly, he asked me all the normal questions if I wanted sides or sauce etc. The portion was a good size, normal for any panda across the country I’ve eaten at. The food was as tasty as ever. Maybe this location has had issues or still does, but my experience was what I come to expect from any Panda Express that I walk into.
Here’s an improved version of your review: Absolutely unacceptable experience. I found a long hair in my food, which was both unhygienic and off-putting. When I brought it to their attention, they only offered to replace the item instead of refunding my money, which I felt was the bare minimum they could have done. The lack of proper resolution and accountability was disappointing. I will not be returning.

Duck House Chinese Restaurant
I hyped this place up after only dining once. That's my bad 😔. If the staff spent as much time cleaning the restroom 🚺 and checking in on diners as they did standing near the bar and taking to each other , this would be a nice place to dine. Having staff on the floor who can't communicate with diners is frustrating in itself. The hostess podium is absent of a hostess. I appreciate the masks and quick service. Our Salt & Pepper prawns w/I shell , were incredibly too salty. Inedible even with mustard and vinegar. A salt lick. They were perfect the first time I dined here. The combination fried rice had a lot of 'Wok hei' and a nice sheen, good amount of ingredients, but short on shrimp. The sesame chicken had a perfect fry. Delicious. The women's restroom 🚻 was filthy! Garbage over flowed in the stall and outside the stalls. No toilet paper in the large stall, and it stunk. Just disappointed ☹️. Won't be back. Too many better places to dine with better service and Parking, and prices, and cleaner.
Stopped here with the wife for dinner before a Shen Yun performance at the Keller. The ginger lemon drop cocktail was very well made and flavorful, and not light on the alcohol. The mandarin crispy chicken was decent but not awe inspiring; very garlicky. A typical Americanized Chinese dish that I know a lot of people enjoy but it’s just not my thing to have something so sugary and swimming in thick sauce. But even so, it was executed well. However, the shrimp dry pot dish was absolutely fantastic! A completely different type of Chinese food than your usual fare, and I already cannot wait to try another protein. It’s rated at very spicy but honestly it wasn’t too hot at all, although I love spicy food. A majority of the spicy heat came from the copious use of whole Chinese peppercorns which were absolutely lovely in their tongue-numbing effect. The shrimp were fresh and stir-fried dry so they had an interesting crispiness with minimal coating. My only complaint would be too many green bell peppers in this dish, but I easily picked half of them out and still loved the dish.
