Snow Pea
The new chicken Mei Fun is fantastic! I had been driving up north of 23rd whenever I had the craving for mei fun, but theirs is better and closer to me downtown. Great place for lunch if you find yourself downtown.
Love the lemon chicken I get it delivered often and ask them to load me up and they always do the food is sooo good everytime thank you
Canton Seafood
The service was impeccable and the food delicious. They have recently did some updates to the restaurant, but they need to do a little more. I highly recommend this place for good food and great service.
Our first time trying his place and it exceeded all expectations! Staff were very attentive and kind. Food was absolutely delicious!
Tai Pei
I LOVE this place! When I lived in OKC I'd eat there regularly. Now that I live about 1.5 hours away I stop by every chance I get! I've dined at this family owned restaurant for about 20 years! The owner always remembers my name and my order! I feel valued as a customer.
Tried for the 1st time. Could not believe how busy this hidden gem was! The people are so friendly & helpful. Food fresh & large portions. Fried rice & egg rolls....my faves š Side note. My hubby & I 1st met at this location when it was a Taco Bueno and we were college students. 43 yrs ago. Great reminiscing here on Valentine's Day.
King Wok
My husband and I ordered differently to taste a little bit of everything. We enjoyed literally everything we ordered. JalapeƱo chicken was our favorite (it is actually spicy ā„ļø) 2nd was a tie between the bbq chicken and honey chicken. Donāt let the āemptyā tables fool you. We seen so many people order to go or use drive thru. Good food and fair pricing!
Great service, good food, awesome people working here. Good prices. Fresh and hot food!!!
Taiwan Chinese Food
This place is always on point with flavor, price, and portions! Literally anything you order from here will be amazing! They have the BEST house fried rice (pictured) in town! This always stretches to 2-3 meals for me. PLEASE go visit this amazing little place and give them your business! Also bring cash since they are cash only. Very important
Love this place for over 23 years! A family of 5 can eat and have left overs for $50.00 super hot and made to order.. I will drive 40 mins to eat here!
Chow's
Iāve lived in several states and tried General Tsoās chicken in many places, but unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences Iāve had. The dish lacked the signature sweet, spicy, and rich flavorāit was surprisingly bland and soggy, despite me waiting for the food to be freshly made. It tasted mostly of bell pepper and had no crunch or depth. The sweet and sour chicken had a crispy exterior, but the sauce was extremely watered down and lacked any real flavor. Similarly, the beef lo mein was bland, tasting only of plain noodles with no noticeable sauce or seasoning. I spent over $45 here, and sadly, it felt like a waste of both money and time. The restaurant was clean and the staff were polite, which I appreciate, but unfortunately, the food just didnāt meet expectations. Based on this experience, I wonāt be returning and wouldnāt recommend it to others.
So I drove past this restaurant and something about it screamed good food lol. Told my sis about it and we were there. Combination fried rice we both had, sis had sesame chicken, I had crispy quail and lemonade. Now when I tell ya the food is good, it is GOOD. And they had a full house. You should try it. *Update January 25th 2025* I think they changed their chef or he/she is on vacation. I just wasted $32 and some cents. Fried rice tastes like soaked rice. Salt and pepper shrimps still has blood flowing in it. I could not bring myself to eating it. This food is a mess. I will NEVER come here again. I am so nauseated right now.šššI have brought over seven persons here on different occasions and up until today, I still preached about this place only to be served this! I hope you guys do better reallyš
Hunan Cuisine
The food that I tasted was good. Just never got the dish I ordered delivered to the table. When I tried to get the waiters attention me and my husband were repeatedly over looked. Drinks are limited and come in a bottle. The restaurant was clean and neat just not what you would expect if youāre going to pay 20 or 35 for a plate.
Wife found this gem while in the area. I was somewhat hesitant at first but we just went for it, glad we did. Itās inside the Chinese market place (I assume). Plenty of parking š æļø- Free. I think this is a family restaurant which is a huge plus for us as we enjoy supporting family owned businesses. As you walk in you realize this is where local Chinese people come. We sit at place of our choosing and our server was quick to come get our drink orders. We also ordered fried egg rolls, fresh, hot and delicious. Wife also had the spicy soup and I had the egg drop soup, both small bowls are good enough. She enjoyed her spicy soup although didnāt know what was all in it lol. The egg drop would was not watery and plentiful. As main dishes wife enjoyed the chicken mushroom and had it made spicy l, she really enjoyed it, lot of food for sure and served with white rice which was perfectly prepared. I had the beef & broccoli, absolutely loved it, very flavorful with a lot beef within the dish, also came with white rice. Would highly recommend stopping by for some great Chinese food and supporting a local business. Canāt wait to return.
Grand House Asian Bistro
This is my 3rd time here. And itās wonderful. I have gotten something different every time and all of the food has been amazing. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful staff and perfect for an intimate date night or casual get together
We visited on the weekend after our normal restaurant was closed. I had eaten at this location close to 10 years ago. There was no indication this place is now a "buffet" style restaurant where they bring by trays of food and ask if you want some. We were just sat at a table with no menus and servers began stopping at the table with food. We decided to go with the flow and see how it goes. The issue is that servers basically mumbled about the food options, as there multiple options on each tray. We sometimes asked 3-4 times for them to repeat or to clarify but again, more mumbling, not understandable. The food we did try was good but not great. Lots and lots of varieties of shrimp cooked different ways. The next issue is that no server stopped by to refill our drinks until we were ready to leave. We put 6 items on our table and ate maybe half of it. I was shocked that our bill was just short of $60, wow. I was not impressed and have no plans to visit again.
Golden Phoenix
Yall... we went for dinner and this place was DELICIOUS!!! We were in town from Tulsa, so it was such a treat to have traditional Chinese/Vietnamese food. - Hot & Sour Soup was very flavorful. It's a 7.5/10 - BBH comes with the traditional pork hock, very lemongrassy and flavorful and it does come with a side of thinly shredded cabbage! 8/10 - Pho was pretty decent. 8/10 - Beef Chow Fun (dry) needs a little bit more wok-hay, but it was super delicious either way! 8/10 - Beef Chow Fun (wet) this was a table favorite, they loved the flavor and how authentic it tasted. 9/10 - The Sizzling Beef (korean short ribs) - oh I absolutely loved this one! It is peppery, salty, sweet and the aromas of the bellpepper and onions really shine through! 9/10 - Stir fried udon noodles - the kids really loved the thick noodles. 8/10 - Flan - oh goodness.. this was absolutely decadent! Smooth... it wasn't too sweet and there was no bitterness to the top layer. It is a little expensive ($5 something), but it is worth it! And to top it off, we ordered stuff to take home and... let's just say, a few days later, IT IS STILL DELICIOUS!!!! Yummmm. Can't wait to go back when I am in OKC :). Also, this place is very affordable! All this food and our bill was like⦠$120? Fed 4 hangrrrry adults & 2 kids!
This is my favorite Oriental restaurant in Oklahoma City even though I didn't give the food, 5 stars. Authentic Chinese & Vietnamese cooking. I have tried a lot of different dishes but I did not like all of them. The dim sum is excellent. I love the steamed golden pomfret with black bean sauce and the mapo tofu. Fast service, friendly servers and nice atmosphere. Saturday, January 26, 2025, we ordered for 4 dishes. (1) C34 Steamed Golden Pomfret with Black Bean Sauce. Excellent. (2) GP2 Braised Shanghai Meat Balls in Casserole. Excellent. (3) C69 Sweet and Sour Pork. Michael loves this dish. I think most caucasians love sweet and sour pork. I am an Asian. I found it too starchy. (4) C109 Seafood HK Pan-Fried HK Noodle. I was disappointed with the dish because the sauce had only 2 kind of seafood, slices of squid and a few pieces of prawns. What I am saying is, there was plenty of fried noodles and very little seafood ingredients in the pour over sauce. The last time we had this dish was better. However, even though I only like 2 of the 4 dishes we ordered. I will continue coming. Maybe next time, this dish will be more better. Thank you.
Wahaha Express
This is our favorite space for specific Chinese dishes !! Yummy pork, hot spicy chicken, hand made fried noodle, bamboo pork, bok choy in garlic sauce !!!!!!! Great New Years Eve lunch ! The chef is always the same and his food is fast and tastes the same every time !! Xi xi wahaha !
Super sweet people and delicious authentic Chinese! Try out the spicy chicken and you wonāt be sorry ā¤ļø egg drop soup was also really good (not watery or weirdly metallic tasting) aaand they have hand pulled noodles?!?
Fung's Kitchen
I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is amazing and the service is out of this world amazing! We always eat family style so we can have more of everything. Just a few of my top favorites: orange chicken, beef and broccoli, green beans in black bean sauce, peking duck, vegetable lo mein, triple delight seafood platter. The service is incredible! (Note: Parking is a little bit limited and can be tricky on busy nights. Some street parking is available nearby)
We come here almost every Christmas. Iām appreciative they open on holidays. Food was great. The wait (after placing an order) was a tad long due to it being busy (almost an hour), but they apologized for the wait. Iām not sure if they made a typo when they were adding the orders up on the check or just mis-wrote on the bill (handwritten), but our bill was incorrect (they had the total as $289 when it was actually $218). This would be a big error for customers that donāt check the bill, but we punched in the dishes total on our phone to retrieve the correct amount. The wonton soup is always bomb! The vietnamese hot coffee was the best Iāve tried in several, several years!
DOT WO (Memorial Rd)
Food was not good at all I had beef fried rice 1 egg roll and a veggie egg roll I spit out the veggie egg roll it was mushy the other egg roll was a little greasy and tasted like it was frozen. The veggie egg roll was a lot smaller than the egg roll and they are the same price. The rice was dark and didn't have any carrots, peas or onions according to menu it was supposed to have. SMH because I know better than to leave without looking in the bag. They gave me some soup and it was bland. I do not recommend this place I wasted my money. Will continue to make my own Chinese food there is just not any good places here in the city with good Chinese food
If I could give 100 stars I would! As a mom to a toddler, thinking about going to a restaurant can be overwhelming. But everyone who works here makes my son feel right at home and they always treat us so good! Our waitress (cannot remember her name but she is amazing) was teaching my son to use chop sticks and just entertaining him so we could eat. The food is always so good. We just had an amazing experience, we always do, and thatās because of all the amazing people who work here! Thank you guys for being amazing with kids! Makes eating out so refreshing.
