Great Wall
First time visiting this small town looking for something to eat. Their are various other restaurants available around the plaza but we wanted something flavorful and fresh. We decided to give this a try and we did right coming to this restaurant. Customer service was good. But their food was amazing. Rich flavors and very tasty. It’s definitely made to order and not just waiting on heat lamps or reheated. It’s not like Panda Express that has food ready to serve you. It’s more of a place to take out and eat but they do have tables if you decide to dine in Thank you Great Wall for the experience and delicious food!
This is the worst I've ever had literally. I don't know if they changed owners but this was terrible. I ordered honey chicken combo. The rice is literally swimming in this imagination honey sauce. Not to mentioned rice tasted old and the egg roll was stale. I threw it in the trash. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED
Golden chef express
This is the perfect Chinese take out restaurant. Easy to order menu + generous portions. The beef & broccoli was tender and juicy, not slimy. I was so happy that the sweet & sour chicken had real bites of chicken and were not puffy doughballs. The crispy chicken w/ included sauce is very tasty and snackable. Overall, I am pleased to have found my new favorite Chinese food place. Thank you to the owners who made my food.
This place is great! It’s hard to find good Chinese and definitely slim pickings on restaurants in this area. I’m very excited that this place has opened. I love that you can pick your side and 1-2 entrees pending if you get a bowl or plate. My fav was the orange chicken. Cream cheese wontons and sweet and sour sauce were really great. I got too full to try the hot and sour soup(which came with the fried noodles🤗feel like places never have them anymore) and the dumplings but I’m sure they will be great. If you spend $25 you get free fried chicken bites, which are pretty awesome, comes with Yum Yum sauce to dip in. I highly recommend to try this place. I have no doubts. The staff was very friendly. This will be your new favorite Chinese Restaurant!!!
Fantasy Chinese Cuisine
Top 3 best Chinese Restaurants in all of OKC and surrounding area. One of our friend's mom came to OKC from China to visit, and upon landing, we took her to this restaurant. After tasting the food, the mom said "This is great! The restaurant owners in China need to step up." Be warned they are not joking when they say spicy. The food always tastes great and the portions are very generous. Even when I go in there starving, I usually leave with a to go box. Our favorites are the spicy tofu, spicy chicken, grilled beef (non-spicy for the kids) and green beans. Though we get take out at least twice a month from here, it really does taste better sitting inside. I've recommended this place to all my co-workers. And now that I'm writing about them, I'm starting to get cravings again... I'll probably have to go there for dinner tonight.
My situation was a take out. I don't understand how some times Fantasy Chinese is good, then the food quality falls, then months later back to good. Here's a pic of my simple Sesame chicken. Nothing fancy. But my whole order was 80% breading. I know, it sounds unbelievable. But there was only shredded chicken tidbits mixed in globs of breading. And then it tasted fishy also. Yep, glad I had a large serving of white rice. I threw the sesame dough away. Nite the piece of chicken, about the size of a pencil eraser. That's all that was in that blob of dough. I'm not going to call you all at Fantasy. No, this was deliberately made that way.
Panda Garden Chinese Buffet & BBQ
Walked in for lunch, 2 handicap and disabled Veterans and every empty table was dirty. They walk us all the way to the front to sit then end up moving us to a booth after requesting a table (which harder for us to get in and out of) almost at the door we walked in at!! Even had to ask for silverware to eat. While a lot of choices and variety of options- just all the traditional Food was super bland! Very disappointing especially for a newer restaurant to the area! Prices are very good for the amount you have the opportunity for is also. Not that many choices for dessert but did have soft serve ice cream. Overall was Very Disappointed and we chose to not go back! Language barrier with the host was extreme. Didn’t check on us till we was leaving with ticket.
This was the worst chinese I have ever had in my life. The taste was nasty, cold, and unedible. Polish sausage was hard, chewed, and cold. The noodles were al dente no sauce. Even the fried shrimp was bad. We went during a lunch rush.
Mr Hui
This location is so unassuming that I did not expect the absolutely SPECTACULAR meal inside. The tapioca milk Thai tea was heaven, and the crispy duck was quite literally one of the best meals I’ve ordered in a restaurant. We also had the double cooked pork which was also delicious. The first time we had crispy duck was when we visited Hong Kong and China and I wanted to see if it would compare and we were absolutely not disappointed. 10/10
This place seems a bit like a locals place… The food tasted amazing and freshly prepared. The only 3 complaints I had were, (1) The hostess seemed to be quiet to the point of rudeness. (2) The soda’s are served at room temperature in cans (with a cup of ice which affects taste). (3) We seen ants but not an abundance of them.
China House
I've been eating here for years.I love their food. However, right now I have the flu and I needed some of that delicious egg drop soup. I had to meet the minimum. I ordered steamed rice. Not sure the problem with it except it tasted like metal and so did the sweet and sour. The egg rolls are all my husband likes and he said those were bad. I will order again but I was extra sad today because I don't feel well and I was looking forward to it all.
Hate to do this, but while I was waiting for my food I saw the front store clerk take money/card from the customer in front of me, then scoop food and use her bare hands on the food. Literally, fisting it to top off the scoop. She dumped it in the deep fryer then came to the window to take my money. Besides that, seems fine!
Panda China
Me and a coworker usually come here once a week for lunch. The couple that run the place are fantastic and the lady always remembers my name and my order. Food is delicious and prices are very reasonable.
The best Chinese food in Midwest City. The owners are very friendly. Their vegetables are cook crispy and they are done half cook not saggy. If you want real Chinese food, this is the place to go. Perfect!
Hunan Express Restaurant
My family and I have been eating at Hunans for about 30 years and let me tell you we have traveled to many places during that time, but none of those restaurants came even close. They serve the best tasting Asian food we've ever found anywhere! The only thing I have a problem with are the smaller egg rolls, but they are still #1 in my book! And the staff are so friendly and kind. The food is always fresh and hot and the portions are very generous. I still love it!
It’s been open over 10 years for a reason, they work hard and serve delicious food! You will get a large amount for a fair price as well! I highly recommend the chicken fried rice🫶🏾 sorry about my review pics we couldn’t wait to eat lol this was after a family of 3 made plates how much was still left in the boxes.
Chiu Wu Chinese Food
I was told this place had some good food and I had to stop by... The customer service and food was very good, the atmosphere is very nice as well... I purchased the baby beef egg rolls and chicken lo mein, the food was really good ... This place is definitely a must try for sure, I will definitely be back 😁
My dad would bring me and my older brother here a lot when we were younger, and the food is still just as good now as it was back then which is already close to 30 years ago now. Always super friendly, and of course the food is outstanding every single time. Never have had bad food here. You've got to get the Baby Beef Eggrolls with whatever else you order, highly recommended!
Mandarin
I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and since I moved to Oregon a few years ago I have to have it when I visit Oklahoma. It’s the Chinese food I crave when I’m on west coast where there is literally nothing like it there. The Hawaiian chicken and fried rice and a couple egg rolls are my go-to. I’m can never finish it all. It’s so so so good. If you get it to go you won’t have the true experience as the Hawaiian chicken is crispy with a sweet sauce poured over. So I recommend eating there. Plus the egg drop soup is delicious.
I visited on a Thursday around 630pm. The dining room was not open. I had to order at a little window and then wait outside. I didn't like being packed into the little cubicle with a bunch of people to place my order. My chicken with snow peas was quite good. My partners Won Ton Soup was very different.
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
The moment we walked in, we got a great hello, how are you! Great energy 👏 love the food, very fresh and amazing taste! Beats all around!!!
I'm from Edmond but house sitting for friends. I saw the bad review and thought it was harsh so I bought 3ish meals just to give this place a fair review. Restaraunt is clean, staff nice, food was quick (15 mins). Price good. It's hard to find 5 star chinese food anywhere in my opinion. Sweet & Sour chicken was typical for walk in Chinese, good, not dry. Crab Rangoon was good, I prefer thinner wrapper but this is typical good. Chicken with broccoli and white rice, fair to good, again typical. Fried rice and egg drop soup were typical good. It's a small town, and I'll eat here again.
China House
Thank you so much China House for the wonderful food it was our first visit and I have absolutely no complaints all of the food was delicious prepared nicely and fresh!
We ordered the boneless BBQ ribs and they were delicious. My husband ordered Mongolian beef with white rice Xtra spicy but it was not spicy at all. I ordered house special lomein which was very bland with very little meat. We also ordered two egg rolls which could have been fried harder.
