This is a take out only location. Must call ahead to order. There is a sign on the door. They offer traditional menu items. In my opinion the food was below average and not worth the cost. Noodles were dry and under seasoned. I did like the sweet and sour chicken they had a nice crunch to them and when dipped in red sauce wasn’t soggy, but I had to add seasoning to them tasted bland. The one worker was fantastic. I can tell he was the only one there managing phone, front end and cooking. That could be why the food was bland and noodles dry (could be old, or prepped way in advance) but he was very polite and working really hard. If it wasn’t for the food I’d give five stars just based off his performance.

Best Chinese in the Raleigh area! Reminds me of the Chinese food in the northeast. Both the food and owner are equally excellent in their own ways. I would maybe say it’s some of the best I’ve had in my life. The owner is personable and always makes it feel like you’re picking it up from his home. He does it all by himself. Always impressed

I was skeptical about going here so to the bad reviews but it was 2 minutes from my house. Seems like a family owned and run restaurant with children there helping and doing their homework. I ordered the general Tso chicken with white rice and triple delight with white rice from the house special section and then 2 shrimp egg rolls. I personally thought it was good for fast food Chinese food and also had chicken wings with house special fried rice. I would go back again.

Tried the Singapore noodles tase really good. Store is clean and service is good.

Came Here For Dinner. The Place Is Kinda Hidden. Typical Chinese Menu. I Got The Fired Chicken Wings With Fried Rice. Total Was About $10.75. Did Not Come With Egg Roll. But Their Other Dinner Combos Do Come With An Egg Roll. The Wings Are Big And Tasty. And You Get A Enormous Amount Of Fried Rice. From 1 To 10 I Give This Place A 7.

Never go here I asked for plain fried rice didn’t know until mid way it had pork it called to complain they told me to come back on Tuesday just to find out their closed after driving all the way up here on my Lunch break beyond disgusted

Decided to go out of my way to go here for lunch cause I Googled searched for a Chinese buffet restaurant while I was on this side of Raleigh. I am so glad I ended up here cause I was impressed upon the cleanliness of the restaurant. The staff kept up with the hot and cold food stations to make sure selections didn't run out. There also was a vast variety of selections to choose from and most importantly the food was good. The waitress was attentive and kept my table clear and beverage topped off. If I'm on this side of Raleigh again I will return.

The best buffet food I've eating in years. The made to order soup and Mongolian grill is tasty. The buffet line was full with high quality favorites. I will definitely go back soon.

Quick service, polite staff and tasty food.

the service is quick & always nice. i enjoy eating here every time we go to triangle! the food is amazing. me & my boyfriend always share a plate & are full off the generous amount & low prices (it was only $10!) (food descriptions) fried rice: perfectly cooked & seasoned. it has carrots & peas. always good! grilled chicken teriyaki: probably the best meat they have, it’s salty but sweet & slightly crunchy. love love love it. sesame chicken: the chicken has a soft breading. it’s sour but sweet. super good & can never go wrong! lo mein: the noodles are so good. there’s carrots & cabbage in there. honestly so good… nothing to complain about.

Didn’t wait long to pick up my online order pretty quick service. After I got home to my surprise the food was very hot and fresh. The crab ragoons were delicious and crispy. Same with the fried rice and beef w. Oyster sauce. Definitely coming back! ^.^

If you get the woman on the phone, ask her to repeat your order back to you twice. Or you gonna end up with chicken nuggets instead of wings

Walked in immediately heard this lady upfront having nothing but attitude on the phone, when I first called I had a hard time hearing her so I had her repeat some things and she clearly didn’t like that. Food was mid at most as well. Fire front desk lady or whatever her job is and maybe you’ll get better reviews!?

Food was so disappointing. Not even “decent enough to finish, but never order there again,” level. Tossed 1/2 at least. Mei fun lacked any flavor and a bit mushy, general Tso was dry and mystery tendon like, orange chicken- the same, shrimp egg roll - how do you mess that up too?! Only thing decent enough to finish was the crab rangoons. I am no snob and good with mediocre level for fast food Chinese, but this is a no-go. I really miss Cary’s fast food Chinese spots man. Small and basic inside. Clean enough, but didn’t eat there. Cant see how many would with 3 tables. The young girl at the front was pleasant enough and let me make mods like adding broccoli. Language barrier probably led to the cause in lack of returned pleasantries, no biggie.

For the prices that this takeout-place charges (which are very reasonable), Food is 5-stars; can't really expect any better food for the prices charged. Also, every time I went there, the Service was quick and painless, so 5-star for Service too; again, can't expect any better. Atmosphere is basically non-existent. But, it is a takeout-place, not a sit-down-place. So, 4-stars for Atmosphere - one can expect a somewhat better looking takeout-place, but not by much.

The rice is more os a whitish color not yellow and its nasty. I ordered a large house fried rice. I threw the whole container away. Not going back.. was out all day w my daughter and wanted friend rice, ribs (made it myself as foodlion has it in sale 6 bucks a slab) and a cherry pepsi. Well KING WOK YOU FLOPPED and nobody like white fried rice. Now I see why you was quick to ask if I wanted sauce.. soy sauce cant save this.. My daughter ordered something diff and she sid it was ok. Dont buy the rice alone!!!!

Excellent Chinese food takeout. Their crab Rangoon are the perfect 4 corner folded kind. And their shrimp rolls and sweet and sour pork are excellent!

We get takeout here pretty often. Always good quality and quick. Nothing extraordinary, but a solid Chinese Food spot 👌🏻

I like this place I feel like the food could be alittle better. I like the shrimp fried rice the best sometimes It can be dry but I get duck sauce to make up for it. The shrimp egg rolls are good and a decent size as well. The service is ok they’re nice but the lady is really stingy with the sauces I’ll get a large shrimp fried rice and she’ll give me 4 duck sauces when I ask for extra. I try and say a lot of duck sauce not to much but enough for my egg rolls and my entree. It’s never enough so I try and keep sauces home. But that’s the only down side is the service.

This China Wok has been in business since before I moved to Raleigh in 1992, and for it to still be in business in 2025 wow. I remember the food bring sooo good. My mother is from NY, and she said this was the closes thing to her beloved NY city Chinese food. I love this for them. I really want to plan a trip just to get some wings and fried rice.

I ordered hot and sour soup, the first time I’ve been there. I’ve eaten this soup numerous times at other restaurants. But at this restaurant, the soup was extremely thick and looked like slime. And it had a weird taste. Highly disappointed.

Stopped by for a dine in lunch. Ordered the moo goo gai pan (chicken with mushroom) lunch special, which comes with veggie fried rice. The food was tasty, and the price was decent. They do have lunch buffet (as of Oct 2022, the price is $9.99 for adult buffet) but the buffet is only open 11-2:30 p.m. Quick service and overall a decent experience.

If I could leave no stars I would I’ve ordered from here a few time since living on this side of town and the food is pretty good but the service was disgusting it really triggered me as a black women ordering Chinese food to say the least there was only two duck sauces on the counter I actually like the duck sauce on there dry fake three piece shrimp fried rice as well as my Chicken wings. so I politely asked for more she only gave me one extra and threw it in my bag as if I was about to get on her nerves I asked for about five extra she told me a dollar she charged me after already paying and extra 25 cent for a pack of duck sauce because she only gave me four then Tried to right on the receipt for me to sign and extra 1.10 cents I had to cross it out for just the dollar… and that’s why I’m leaving this review to say go spend your money with people that appreciate the fact that you actually come a few times a week spending more money then they want to charge you when they feel like it for a petty duck sauce so they get this petty one star!!!

Great food, great staff. Hidden little dive Chinese take out with good flavor and portions. They need to fix their Yelp listing because they don't show up under "Chinese food".
