Chefs kiss bro. 10/10 basic Chinese food court food. But the good type of basic 💅🏽💅🏽

This was fast food chinese food from the mall food court. I asked for a water and next thing I know I'm being charged $1.99 for a bottled water. No thanks! Sesame chicken was soggy and rubbery. Rice was bland and the egg roll tasted like it was frozen and then reheated and also soggy. Service felt rushed and they kept trying to add on a white sauce for .50 cents extra. Again no thanks! Not worth $10.49 for the poor quality of food. I won't eat here again

Food is great and the staff is friendly. The other day was the first time I ate here since I was kid and the food is just as good! It’s disappointing that they are takeout only (the entire dining section is closed off) but other than that I have nothing but praise.

I came here for the first time in 20 plus years today and it was good. I did notice a slight increase in price but that is to be expected these days. I got the lunch special pepper steak and I felt like the serving was fair. Maybe they should include an egg roll to make it seem worth the price. Still I will be back. Kc

So I ordered the sesame chicken. Whatever I got was not sesame chicken. It was hard and had a weird texture. Wasn't fresh what so ever. The rice was okay, but it was literally just white steamed rice. Can't really mess that up too bad. Customer service was okay. Establishment kind of run down. But probably worse Chinese I've ever had.

This restaurant is deeply connected to it's community. My favorite part was it's atmosphere. You'll see pictures on the wall of people who come here. I loved that. I ordered chicken wings with pork fried rice as they have a sign that says best wings in town. For me the wings were fried to hard and taste was average. Fried rice pretty standard. Overall a good restaurant plenty of space to sit. Glad I stopped by

I have never had egg foo yong vegetable with mushrooms, onions, and a bunch of broccoli. It was disgusting. They should tell people that that is what they’re gonna use for vegetables for vegetable egg foo yong. I will never eat there again. and the boss just look at you like you’re stupid instead of having Customer Service didn’t want to give me my money back either so this is why I’m doing this review. The food was disgusting. They gave me chicken fried rice three pieces of chicken in it. Disgusting like I said, I will not go back there again

I think the food in this place has gone down alot. I been ordering from them for years and between last year and this year I saw the decline. Can't even taste the honey on the honey chicken anymore, and im just completly done with them cause that dish sucks now.

Ordered delivery. Fried rice was awful. Spring rolls not very good. Very disappointed. Dropped off no knock on the door didn't ring the bell. What the heck is that about ??

Crowded and dated, but the food more than makes up for the building’s shortcomings. Avoid the sushi. Everything else is top notch.

Service was great. Waitress was super sweet.

Hands down the worst dining experience of my life. See photos. My husband and I ate nearly all of the food only to find a roach inside the food tray. Be warned. I immediately began vomiting everything back up and asked him to take the photos. It’s a shame we can’t leave negative stars. I don’t know what else to say. It’s disgusting. We ordered 6 wings and orange chicken. Cost nearly $20 and traumatized me.

First off you can’t sit inside and wait for your food. They won’t let you & she only tells you that after you pay for it. There always sloppy, & over priced for it to not be fresh. I blame myself for eating here. I normally pay attention to the reviews but this time I was rushing and I'm now upset with myself. I was charge almost $18 for 6 wings and rice and egg roll. No drink. The chicken taste bland no seasoning. The white sauce is just yum yum sauce from out the store. I sat on the phone ordering and asking questions for about 10 mins the little girls they have working there never told me that I had a option to pick shrimp rice but just assumed I wanted pork rice. The owner(I guess) came out when he heard me ask the girls about the shrimp rice and all he said was" next time ask" and never offered to change my rice or anything. I don't eat pork. So they assumed I wanted pork egg roll and pork fried rice. Terrible customer service and Terrible food. Not sure why they are still open. I traveled across the city to get this disgusting food because the place near my house was closed. Everyone go and try Hibachi and Wings in 5 points. They have different flavored wings. My favorite is lemon pepper (the best I ever had). They have 10 piece $14.99 with rice and a drink. Well worth your money trust me. I recommend no one to ever go to this nasty place Chu's Express needs to be closed or have new workers.

I’ve been a loyal customer for around 20 years! Best Chinese food in town I’ve liked everything I ever ordered, they are CASH ONLY. The eggs rolls with chicken wings was my younger self go to, now it’s veggie fried rice with egg rolls (don’t forget the duck sauce 😋). Other staples I like are pork fried rice, beef and broccoli, and kung pao chicken I have nothing bad to say. Thank you for servicing High Point all these years don’t sell out to HPU. 🥰😍

I should have put a review a long time ago... everytime i call and place a Togo order.. the lady is always so kind and friendly. They always get my food right and it's always super good. I love it here. I would have to say I order 2-3 times a month. Always the same order and always satisfied. They work hard and I am happy they're running a successful business. Despite of all the negative bias reviews. Check them out for yourself. This is truly a hidden gem.

We’ve lived here a year and have been wanting to try this restaurant; it’s so close. Not sure we’ll be back. I ordered cashew chicken, pork with vegetables, and some Vegetable Lo Mein. Two people came in a while after me, they got their food just before me. That kind of ticked me off. But I figured I would simmer down and just try the food. Both my husband and I felt the food was not amazing. I mean, I hate to say this, but if I want Chinese food, I may have to get it at Panda Express. I wanted to like it. To her credit, the young woman was handling the transactions without skipping a beat. Chu's Express is an asian restaurant servicing TAKE OUT ONLY. Located in High Point, this restaurant occupies the corner location of the Center Stage shopping mall. The place was clean and the pleasant lady at the front offered good customer service. The fold was ready in less than 10 mins. I will give props to this place for one thing though.....this was the most neatly packaged take out order......ever. I know my food is not spilling out of the box. A+++ for packaging. This location also has a drive through window. So you can literally call them and pick up the order without going inside the store. Food tasted good and very reasonably priced.

Since PE management didn’t do anything about my complaint to them (2 weeks ago) so I’m just gonna do it here 😉 So I ordered a bigger plate with half chow mein and fried rice, entrees of kung pao chicken, fire wok steak and shrimp and teriyaki chicken. But instead of fire wok steak and shrimp, they gave me beef and mushroom (this is the second time they did my order wrong!) also the portion of today’s order are just half of what I usually get, I got more of bell peppers and zucchini than the chicken LOL, did not realize also that y’all would cut down the portion of third entree into half. Very much disappointed in this trip, especially from this location, as they almost always make mistakes of my orders or sloooooooow, oh and the food here tastes one step below the one in Wendover. Finally the cherry on top, I had diarrhea after eating this. If you wanna try PE, just go to the other location at Wendover, it’s BETTER and FASTER!

Ordered online and it’s always frustrating to pickup. The whole point of ordering online is skipping the line and wait, but you have to wait for the employee to acknowledge you because they hold your food ransom in exchange for you pleading to be acknowledged. Finally, they acknowledge you and you are gifted burnt egg rolls. Not the 1st time this has happened, but almost always. Not to mention how I’ve witnessed employees get into arguments with customers and threaten violence.

I ordered pork fried rice with ribs, there was absolutely no pork or anything else in the rice but BBQ sauce. Very disappointed with this mess. I called the store to report this and all they wanted to do was make me pay for another one with no correction or apologies of this order . I do not recommend this place.

I ordered a small wonton soup on Christmas day '24. I am a traveler and have been to over a hundred China Woks. This one had great service, but the smallest wontons out of any China Wok I have been to. Price came to 3.52 after tax.
