Taste of China
We are in town for a few weeks and this was the 1st place we tried. Food was fantastic and the portions are huge. Definitely enough for 2 full meals. I got the General Tso combo with fried rice and an egg roll. Probably the best General Tso I’ve ever had. It wasn’t just hard lumps of fried batter and a tiny piece of chicken. It was juicy and delicious! Boyfriend got the Garlic Chicken combo and he really enjoyed it. Egg rolls were on point!
Ostensibly your standard Chinese takeout restaurant. Expect the same fare found in most other such establishments. But they are anything but ordinary. It's the best Chinese takeout I've had in years. I have no complaints. Usually I order double meat, but I don't have to here. The food is delicious and they definitely give you your money's worth. The service is fantastic too. Everybody is polite and helpful. Things can get a bit confused when the place is busy, but I've worked enough for service jobs to know how that is. I've also worked enough for service jobs to know the flaws to look for and I see none of them. Again, I have no complaints. This is my ONLY Chinese takeout place now.
Southern China
My usual go to Chinese restaurant was closed. A friend told me this place had good food so we decided to go there. I now question their judgment. Although there are a few small tables this place is definitely more suited for takeout than dining in. The woman at the counter was very cold and unfriendly. The food was cooked very quickly however. We took the food home. The egg rolls were adequate. It went downhill from there. The hot and sour soup was neither. The crab rangoon was not crisp. The chicken lo mein was somewhat greasy although the noodles were a pleasant Al dente. I did have to search very hard to find any chicken in it however. Overall this is typical Americanized Chinese food with little flavor. If you're searching for authentic Chinese food there are far better options some very close. I was very surprised by some of the reviews that said this is authentic Chinese food. If they're experiencince in Chinese dining is limited to take out Chinese food from strip malls then that may be authentic to them. The online reviews seem to be hit or miss. I definitely hid it on a miss day. I will not be returning and I certainly will not miss it.
Super good Chinese food! We ordered jumbo garlic shrimp and usually the shrimp are small and you have to hunt for the three in the dish. These shrimp were huge and there were a lot of them. Fried rice was simple and so good. Highly recommended to try. Definitely our go to place from now on.
Flaming Chinese Buffet
$15.99/adult dinner Food was only hot when staff refilled. Lucky, they do re-stock quite often. Plenty of food selections including hibachi and pho soup station. Our server was also friendly.
It was my first time visiting this place, and I liked the food. The variety of dishes was sufficient for a good meal. However, I found the service somewhat unpleasant because a tall waitress blatantly demanded a tip and, in the end, never brought me my change. This fundamentally upset me, so I approached her myself to remind her. She reluctantly handed me my change with a very unpleasant expression on her face. This left a bad impression, making it feel like tipping was my obligation rather than my personal choice. There is a large parking lot and a hotel nearby. The location is very convenient, and there is a shopping plaza not far from here. So, if you have time, you can stop by this place.
China Kitchen
Most recent two take out experiences have been great. Very nice staff. Good food at affordable prices.
Ordered the teriyaki chicken appetizer, vegetable fried rice (no mushrooms), steamed chicken & vegetables. The app was rubbery & tasted charred The fried rice was flavorless The steamed chicken with vegetables had an odd scent and also had a rubbery texture. Lastly, the visual of that place was a direct representation of what sort of quality to expect. It's only pickup, there's a 2020 covid plexiglass barrier with a cardboard bottom to block a near empty dining room that looks like a vacuum hadn't been used since covid. Looking through I could see all the chairs stacked and stuff just stored against the walls.
New China
Staff is very friendly - from the time you walk in until and the time you walk out the door. The food is amazing. Honestly the best I have had in years. And super fresh. I will definitely become a regular here!
After our first two attempts at finding a place Christmas dinner while traveling failed, we stumbled across this place! Wow, very good food and good quality. They were busy as heck, but our take our order was ready in 20 minutes, and it was fresh and delicious. Will be back
China King
So good. Stopped by after visiting the beach and got shrimp w lobster sauce, bean curd(tofu) w garlic sauce and a side of nuggets. Sooo good and made fresh. We ate inside and it was pretty hot in the building but there could be any reason for it! Def recommend. No fountain drinks but they do have cans!
The food was quite expensive, for the quality of it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good either. Just kind of meh. The lady who took my order was very nice, and they were fast. It's definitely not an atmosphere that invites inside dining, so we decided to order to go. I honestly regret spending he money there, could have spent half as much and cooked my own meal, to get much tastier food.
Hong Kong Restaurant
It was ok I’d come here again but not frequently
We were driving through looking for somewhere to eat and were using Google Maps. This looked like a good restaurant so we drove to it with high expectations. We were very disappointed to find out they don’t have any tables and chairs to eat in. It’s takeout only. And they don’t even have restrooms available for customers. Skip this one.
Peking Wok
I had higher hopes for this little spot. We ordered food for delivery via Uber Eats, so we did not experience the restaurant, service or ambiance first hand. The food was a major letdown. Everything we ordered was bland without any real flavor that you’d expect from take out Chinese food. It came piping hot so we knew it was made fresh and the actual delivery time wasn’t the issue. Egg Foo Young: bland. Lo Mein: no flavor. Orange Chicken: no real breading, too soft on the outside and dry chicken within. Hot and Sour Soup: wasn’t hot or sour. We won’t be ordering again unfortunately.
My co worker and I decided to stop by and order dinner from here. She got the general tso' chicken, crab ragoons and sugar donuts and I got shrimp with broccoli and a shrimp egg role. She thought her food was ok, my shrimp were over cooked but the egg roll was very flavorful. Donuts were ok, they could have had more sugar on them. We didn't wait to long for our food.
Mr. Lu Chinese Restaurant
Recently moved to town and was looking for a Chinese spot and I found this place. Apparently this restaurant has been in the family for over 30 years. The food was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. The workers were also super friendly. The restaurant is mainly take out but they do offer tables for customers that need a place to eat. Would bring my friends and family here the next time they come to visit.
Disgusting Fried rice no veggies Not even onions. Very bland. Chicken overcooked! Dry Waste of time and money! Try somewhere else This morning at 10:30 I've ordered fried rice it had onions and peas without me ordering! Bad business! I won't go back Next week garbage
China Palace Restaurant
It's a lovely Chinese restaurant on the corner of a shopping center. However, once you go in you are greeted and seated. You are waited on quickly and given ample food, it made two meals for me. Absolutely delicious! My husband had shrimp with lobster sauce and the shrimp were huge! I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. We went back later in the week and had lunch. I had vegetable fried rice that was out of this world. Highly, highly recommend!
This restaurant offers a diverse selection of dishes, including both American Chinese food and authentic Cantonese cuisine. The service is exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. While the decor may appear dated, it is well-maintained and adds to the homey atmosphere of the establishment. Overall, this restaurant provides a delightful dining experience with its delicious food and welcoming ambiance.
China Wok
First time there since the ownership change, and man am I impressed. The crab rangoons ARE HUGE and taste amazingly fresh. The General Tso's was very crispy, not overcooked, and had just the right amount of heat. I'll be back.
They are super friendly. Food is amazing. Been ordering from there 4 times now. Can't go wrong with them. You have to try it.
China Dragon
Was overcharged, be aware that the menu online is not updated, because that’s the only way I could guess why i was charged $40 for 2 combination plates and a side of dumplings. I raised an eyebrow but still paid because it was ready and we were hungry. But no itemized receipt so I have no way of knowing. Food was so so so bland, the veggies were undercooked, crunchy and the meat chewy. The sauces barely had any flavor. Barely any meat is given, the large chopped veggies take up most of the plate. Just overall so disappointing, don’t even bother ordering here, not worth the price point.
Hear me out…fried chicken. You heard me right. When we want wings or deliciously fresh fried chicken we drive across town and pick it up here. Heck, we’ve taken it to other people’s houses as a pot luck. They thought we were nuts - then they tried it. Chinese food is also great. It’s fresh and vegetable forward so you feel like you’ve eaten something with some vitamins. If you are the type of carnivore who picks out veggies this may not be a great fit.
