Golden Wok
This is like a busy New York City Chinese joint! I called at 6:20pm, they said 35-40 mins. I walked in and paid at 6:55pm and left at 7:20pm. Food was hot when I got home 14 minutes later. Will come back for sure!
My friend picked us up dinner. She got the spicy shrimp and broccoli with Lo mein and I got the sesame chicken with fried rice. The lo mein, Shrimp and Chicken were all good. The rice was hard and needed to be cooked longer. They came with Egg rolls which were both delicious.
Gourmet China
Beautiful birthday lunch! Not only was it delicious but my body feels very well and healthy now! I like spicy and unusual so I got the ox tongue and tripe. Absolutely delicious and spicy enough to take my tongue off if I didn't keep it moving, LOL Definitely going back and I'll try the vegetarian stuff next time for you guys. *This is a lovely Mom and Pop organization. It is more of an organic flow so don't expect assembly line efficiency necessarily. Staff is incredibly attentive and will get to you when it's your turn. It's more of a collaboration than a demand situation.
The food here is delicious! This is my go-to spot when I'm craving that spicy, mouth-numbing Sichuan food. Highly recommend the ma po doufu, cold steamed chicken with ginger garlic sauce, and Chongqing xiao mien. Your taste buds can thank me later đ¶
China One
While not particularly amazing fare, there's plenty of items on the menu to try. I've had beef & broccoli, sesame chicken, orange chicken, lo mein, etc. And it all comes out fine. You also get some fairly big portions crammed into those containers, which does make up for the prices somewhat. Overall, this hole in the wall is perfectly serviceable when you want your chinese fix.
Love China one !! Food delicious n service great!! The lady very nice n very friendly. Love , love , love China . My favorite â€ïž
China King
Food tasted great. Wish they had a online menu though. Crab Rangoons could of been filled more but tasted perfect. My broccoli was big and kinda hard. I feel like they could of steam/cook it longer. But super glad it was all fresh and came with sweet and sour sauce
I ordered Sesame chicken, the mild version. The flavor was delicious, but I couldnât see the chicken I chewed it shredded up, but I couldnât chew it enough to break it down. It looked like pork bbq after I chewed it as long as I could. Donât swallow
Hong Kong Restaurant
place the was well priced and the food portions are great!
I love this place. Super delicious and the egg rolls are always perfect. The food is always amazing. I usually get general tsos chicken and I've never been disappointed. đ
China Kitchen
food is good but portions sizes are little small
Been ordering from this restaurant for two years never had any issues, never returned anything, until today ... Ordered vegetable noodles and kung pow chicken... The noodles were very salty, and the kung pow chicken was not spicy, chicken was not crispy and there was no sauce.. understandable, everyone has an off day.... The issue was their behavior and inability to be tactful... I returned the food and the two people I spoke to that work there made a scene in front of a restaurant full of customers being loud and drawing attention to the situation... very classless and unprofessional. Disappointing. Update: I paid $18.46 in cash, but then get a text from them saying they cancelled my order because my card got declined... When I called to ask why that was done the man I spoke to said the manager did it . I will not be buying food from this place again. Add lying to the list of their lack of professionalism.
Number 1 China
I always get delivery from here, but have been doing so for the last 5+ years. They're always friendly, helpful and overall very nice! Food is always delicious and consistent. My family and I have had many of their dishes and haven't had a serious complaint yet.
Steamed dumplings are the best in town. Hand made and full of delicious meats. Delivery is always on time and with a smile. Also love their mai fun. They work so hard to provide a great product at a very reasonable price. Small but consistently good!
China Restaurant
I can only give stars for the food as I ordered through Door Dash as I was feeling under the weather! I'll update the stars for service and atmosphere when I order in person. I ordered the wonton soup! (My go to for Chinese food!) The broth was good but, imo, lacking flavor so I added Sriracha sauce to give it more kick. The size of the wontons were small but I really enjoyed them that way. The wontons had great flavor. This was a perfect meal for a rainy damp day! Looking forward to stopping in and place another order! Another positive is that I'm only 2 miles from them! Easy to get to from Stratford Rd. Near Sheetz in the Food Lion Plaza! Update, one week later. I ordered wonton soup again, via Door Dash, and I was very disappointed with the wontons. This time the wontons were very mushy and it also seemed that there was less filling inside.
Best hot and sour soup anywhere in three counties. I have tried them all. Batch made by the same expert cook. Everything Iâve ever ordered here was hot, fresh & delicious and ready within 15 minutes of ordering.
Jade Garden chinese restaurant
Super friendly service, and really quick turnaround after ordering. But flavor and price wise it was a letdown. $17 for lo mein was shocking, but thatâs my fault for just ordering without looking at the menu (lo mein at most Chinese takeout spots is $6-$9). I was hoping the flavor would blow my mind for that price, but sadly it really left me regretting my decision to order from here. Just too bland. Very hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings, but not flavorful at all. I wish I liked it because they are very friendly, but unfortunately it wasnât anything special.
Tasty food. Obviously fried is unhealthy but every so often I go here for a guilty pleasure. The owner is so kind. The portion is good.
New Sichuan
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for lunch after our class at Forsyth Tech. The inside feels very welcoming and cozy, whilst looking slightly upscale with the white table cloths and nice chairs. We ordered many things, which included the chicken Lo Mein, Ma Po Tofu with Minced Pork, and the Pork Soup Dumplings. All of the dishes came out quickly! They were all steaming hot and fresh. The taste of each of the dishes was absolutely savory and delicious. The staff were also very polite and made sure to check up on us multiple times. I will definitely be back soon to try more of your delectable food!
All the staff were nice and handled my order with care. However, I did not like the food and that may be a preference thing. I had the Chongquig noodles, pork soup dumplings, and fried chicken wings. The chicken wings were great besides the flavor component which was lacking. The soup dumplings had me very disappointed because thatâs the whole reason I went there and they were not at all what I was expecting. The Chongquig noodles did not work for me and unfortunately I couldnât eat them and thatâs purely because I couldnât get past the oil and the texture of the noodles. With all that being said, I know this is a well liked place. It just wasnât for me unfortunately.
Ming Garden Chinese
Their food is good and they give you good portion size. Now, when I went in there today, I noticed their restaurant grade, which is an A 90.0. So, hopefully, that goes up because of just how I am, but the food was great.
Order is always the same: Egg rolls, egg drop soup, chicken wings & house special fries rice and lo mein- everything was delicious (family agrees).
Mandarin Chinese Restaurant
Mandarin has a good lunch buffet at a great price. The service was excellent. Our waters stayed full and table was cleared as soon as a plate was empty. The restaurant was clean and kid friendly, and the owner was conversational and kind. The hot and sour soup was excellent as was the mei fun(rice noodles);two of my favorites.
** FOOD POISONING 3/8/25 **My husband had been wanting to try their lunch buffet for a while, we have been previous customers at dinner and I canât explain how badly the buffet situation turned out. We came in with 3 children and the waiter asked their ages and we of course answered,he looked at us like we were crazy and then asked 2 more times to which we chuckled thinking does he not believe us?? Should I have brought a birth certificate to this buffet?? To which he said âNOT FUNNYâ and walked off. Well my husband later that evening developed horrendous food poisoning.. we have been together 10 years and I have never heard him so sick. Most of the food looked like it had been reheated several times and the majority of the proteins were just hard and cold. We all took extremely few bites, paid our check and left. I am so thankful the kids stuck to noodles because it could have been a lot worse. it goes without saying but we will never be back
