This is my go to place in Washington Heights. Family owned for decades and their recipes haven't t changed much, and STILL it's amazing food for its price point. This Cuban/ Chinese restaurant makes amazing Spanish dishes and the best boneless chicken crackling. Below is the grilled fish that is fresh and flavorful. Their red beans and frijoles with white rice is money and you need to try their ropa veija that's succulent and tender.

Old school style and service. No frills vibe. Simple menu old school chinese style. I ordered special fried rice, crackling chicken bone in, plantain and a frozen lemonade. Everything was fresh since I was literally waiting at the door when they opened. The chicken was definitely a highlight as others may have mentioned. Delicious, crispy and moist. But the special fried rice, ugh so damned good! Really authentic with a light char flavor that I wasn't expecting but definitely appreciated. The frozen lemonade was perfectly balanced not too sweet nor bland. The plantain was okay. I was enjoying my food so much I lost track of time and damn near pushed a tall, handsome, gentleman out the way to hurry and pay because I had to run to work lol he was a good sport about it though and I apologized. The service was one little asian man running pretty much everything except the kitchen. I tipped him great and left in a hurry but I'll definitely be back for more!

We’re no strangers to paying for exceptional dining experiences, often visiting 2- and 3-star Michelin restaurants. That said, this restaurant is seriously expensive for what it offers—$34 for fried rice and over $20 for dumplings in a casual, no-frills setting. Unfortunately, the food was average at best, lacking the standout flavors or creativity you’d expect at this price point. Worse, the decor, presentation, and service didn’t come close to justifying the cost. Our rating reflects the price point the restaurant has set for itself, which falls into the territory of a 1- to 2-star Michelin experience. At these prices, expectations are naturally higher, and this restaurant simply does not deliver. If you’re looking for high-quality Chinese cuisine in NYC, there are many better options.

Service was outstanding. I’m typically not a huge dumpling fan, but the husband was craving a so I obliged. I searched for the highest rated dumpling restaurant in the upper west side and RedFarm fit the bill. We got the soup dumplings, crab and lamb, pac man and 5 flavor. The sweet waitress was patient with me explaining each one. And she was spot on. They were all excellent. But the soup was hands down my fav - esp on this cold winter day. All of the servers came by and checked on us so much we thought they must be owners. Turns out- they’re just a great team that takes pride in their work! Cheers to me for this great find :-)

The eggrolls were changed to a different size, But yet are the same price. I spent $18 on 1 order of scallion pancakes and two eggrolls two egg rolls were so small. They’re a small as the duck sauce packets, Not sure why they’ve been doing this lately.

Oh my god, this is the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant! I had just sat down and didn’t even have time to look at the menu when the waitress asked me to order. When she brought the food, she practically threw it onto our table. She even forgot the drinks we ordered.

The food and drinks were good, but the serving sizes aren't big enough for the price tag.

I recently visited this establishment after discovering it on Yelp and was eager to try it out. We were greeted by our server, Rubio, who initially took our order politely. We ordered the #7 Beef Steak Tenderloin with mixed fried rice, which was listed on the menu for $13.95. The food arrived quickly, which we appreciated, especially since it was our first time dining here. However, upon receiving the check, we noticed that we were charged $29.95 for a different item that was not listed on the lunch menu. When we raised our concerns with the supervisor, they offered no assistance, and Rubio became argumentative, insisting the error was not his fault. This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we were asked for a tip despite receiving poor service. Important Note: The prices listed on the menu do not match what is reflected on the final bill. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place.

Really cool spot! I’m pretty sure the owners are the same as Wu and Nus, but the Dan Dan noodles are equally as tasty. Service was really nice, and the vibes were immaculate!

5 stars I had a little hiccup with my order initially—the delivery driver accidentally took my food to the wrong location. But Sam from La Sally Dumpling went above and beyond. He personally called me to apologize and made sure my food was delivered to the correct address quickly afterward. That level of kindness and commitment to customer service is so rare these days, and I truly appreciated it. And let me tell you—the food was worth the wait and then some. These dumplings are hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly made, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with care. I’m so glad I found this spot, and I hope more people get to experience their incredible food and wonderful service. Highly recommend!

This is our Go-To Place on the UWS for dinner (and lunch sometimes too - they have a lunch Special before 4 PM ) - Best Appetizers: the fried dumplings and the egg rolls (I know what you're thinking - but try them - they're really great !) --- the Chicken with String Beans and the Chow Fun Noodles with Black Bean Sauce (with chicken - not beef) are *Super-Amazing* Every Time - Service is Fast (just how we like it) and the Servers are Always Efficient, Fast and Friendly !

The Ollie’s chain is a staple of Chinese food in NYC. The service is also very quick. My favorite item here is the cold sesame noodle. They also have really good dumplings.

Very tasty. I ordered the Shanghai stir fry noodles and my friend had the beef and pepper bowl. A little on the pricey side but the portions were good size. Do recommend. Also there were tons of Doordashers picking up orders so you know it's popular. One of the downsides was having to order from a kiosk.

i love soup dumplings and these hit the spot. i got the pork ones. it was clean there. i had their soy milk too. it tasted like standard soy milk not special but solid. yea filled me up and made me happy is all i got.

It was our first time to dine in here, it was nice, staff are approachable and friendly, the bathroom is clean, its a big plus as always. My daughter and husband loved the shrimp shumai and dumplings it was made fresh and in house. Its a must try 5/5 The beef noodle noodle soup, it could have been better, i would rate it 3/5 Scallion pancake was a let down 1/5, the texture is off, we were hoping for a flaky chewy scallion pancake and their version is not my fave Coconut jelly 5/5 my daughter and i love it! Not too sweet, the texture is amazing

it’s a pretty solid place for chinese food. they have decent array of options. some of the meat dishes were a bit saltier than i liked but i really liked their congee.

Beautiful stunning interior flourished with red lanterns and traditional paintings to start off. The dried beef dish was $33 which was certainly expensive but extrmely tasty and had a great texture. The fried rice was flawless and the dim sum dumplings were tasty. There was sauce on the side and it was very filling. Highly reccommend this place for any meal or occasion!

We had such a great Chinese food, so delish! For dim sum we had chicken shumai, truffle shrimp shumai, lucky 4 soup dumpling. For appetizers we had barbecue spare ribs, mouth watering chicken. And for main dishes beef cubes with szechuan peppercorns, general tsos chicken and braised jumbo shrimp with teriyaki saunce. For drinks had cherry temple drinks. If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food in NYC, I highly recommend Dim Sum Bloom! We had a fantastic family lunch there, and everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for an average won’t-amaze-or-entirely-disappoint-you, American-style Chinese food, one with massive portions and excellent prices, New King’s Wok would suffice. As for the flavor and quality of the food, I think a true 3 stars is justified, not 4.5 as Google Maps suggests. It’s OK. Nothing more, nothing less. My girlfriend and I ordered multiple items: beef with broccoli, chicken curry with onions, and an order of crab rangoon. The beef with broccoli was a combo platter and came with fried rice and an egg roll. Long story short, if this was the only dish I tried, I wouldn’t go back to the restaurant. The side of fried rice quickly became entirely one-noted, as there are no veggies or acid or anything to break-up the heaviness of the flavors. And the artificial smoke flavor of the little diced pieces of pork was not my favorite. The same characteristics can be found across the rest of the dish, itself, as it all just started to taste “heavy” and oily after only a few bites. There were also a handful of chewy pieces of beef and the dish needed more of the sauce drizzled on-top. The egg roll was spectacular, however, as it was one of the most layered and hearty and delicate I’ve ever had. But I would not order this meal again, at least not without some modifications. I really didn’t like it much at all. The curry chicken with onions was very tasty in its own right and it was my favorite part of the meal. It has a light but rich flavor and I found myself continuing to sneak bites from my partner’s plate. Our only critique is that it, too, became very one-note after only a few bites and would have benefited massively from a mix of vegetables in the dish, rather than offering just onions. Last but not least, the crab rangoon was delicious and the portion was huge, too, especially for $5. It scratched that taste-profile itch very, very well. More not need be said, thankfully. For the price, convenience, and freshness of the food, this place an easy “local spot” contender. Plus every order over $25 gets two free cans of soda, which was a nice touch. But the restaurant is not without its flaws; you know exactly what you’re going to get, for better or worse. There are simply multiple opportunities for New King’s Wok to take the typical New York fare and make it entirely classic in its own new, unique way.

The lunch here offers great value for money. The food is tasty, the service is excellent. Lunch also comes with soup, which is very flavorful. Highly recommended!

I have nothing good to say. I ordered some food hoping to have a quick meal before resting my head, only to open my bag and find a roach, still squirming around the bottom of my delivery bag. I didn’t try the food, but if roaches are crawling into the plastic togo bags, I don’t want to know what’s crawling into the food. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time ever and were really pleased! The noodles are incredible, bursting with flavor! The scallion pancakes were delicious as were the Budda’s veggies dumplings. We loved the white peach tea. The service was fast and everyone was friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

I used to come here many times when it opened a while back and the noodles were amazing! Recently, I found out I can't eat gluten and stopped going. However, I found out that they offer gluten free option and one being sweet potato noodles and honestly you can't tell the dish is gluten free. The flavor is still rich, it pops, and the amount of food will leave you food for the day. I recommend trying their Specialty Noodles, my favorite being the Dapan Niu. Definitely one the hidden gems in the neighborhood!
