New China
The food was terrible. The broccoli taste like dirt. They forgot to give me my order of rice and I had to reorder the rice. I couldn’t eat the nasty broccoli and threw it in the garbage. I just ate the shrimp and a little rice. The delivery driver put everything on the ground instead of handing the items to me. I would never order from them again.
Best Chinese takeout/delivery in Nassau county. Old school favorites. Ribs are the best around! Very courteous staff. Getting their food over 2 years now and have never been disappointed with anything on the menu!
Golden Garden (East Meadow)
I’m writing a review here as Grubhub doesn’t allow you to review if you didn’t get your delivery. Ordered $60 worth of food. Said it would deliver by 6:35. At 7, it still said arriving shortly. I called Grubhub to see where the driver was because when I called, the phone rang for a minute and no one answered. Grub hub was unable to reach them. I said let’s wait 10 more minutes. At 7:05 p, I called GrubHub to cancel the order since the restaurant was not picking up for either of us. Literally 2 min after I cancelled, they dropped the food. Then, I guess he got the notice it was cancelled and he TOOK the food back. I didn’t even have a chance to call Grubhub to say hey, wait it’s here no worries. I don’t know if this is a one off but if you plan on trying this place, maybe do pick up. If you use a food service, pick up your phone or update your location. You’re >30 min late and radio silent = your loss not mine.
Decades of patronizing many & experiencing a variety of Chinese American cooking styles in addition to having family members parents owning restaurant in Brooklyn have found this to satisfy our palates! Fresh, large portioned dishes with an exhilarating & provocative assortment of flavors!!
Ed Youngs Chinese Restaurant
First and last!! Never returning to this place ever again... the woman behind the counter is beyond rude, and the food was horrible! Got charged an extra $5 for who even knows, it wasn't worth the argument
Good food, perfect for take out. Friendly staff/family and Quick deliveries as well.
Super China
If you are not chinese . Make sure you know everything about chinese food before you come to this place. bcz front lady will yell at you if you cant pronounce the food words exactly same they do. At any indian restaurant staff greets other community people with extra attention . I felt racism at this Chinese restaurant . food is good. but not the service.
Women on the phone is the rudest i’ve ever heard ordering food online. Asked nicely if they do combo meals and she said “go on go on go on go on hurry up” several times. Immediately hung up after she repeated it the 5th or so time. Will never give that place a dollar
Wah Luck Kitchen
Hands down the worst sesame noodles that I've ever had in my life. Good Sesame noodles have a nice thick sauce (meaning someone has not been stingy with the peanut butter), that coats and clings to the noodles. Before placing my order, I asked the lady behind the counter if the sauce on the sesame noodles was good and thick , and they were generous with the peanut butter. She replied , "yes", and stated that the sesame noodles were very good. NOT....They are very cheap with their sauce ; the noodles were very dry and even when stirred, the water concoction on the bottom, which tasted like a teaspoon of generic peanut butter to 50 parts bad tasting tap water and some oil, did not even stick to the noodles. If they're going to charge you almost $7.00 for .50 cents worth of noodles, the least they can do is put a sufficient amount of peanut butter in them. I have half a mind to get some sesame noodles from another Chinese restaurant that does it right and bring them back to Wah Luck Kitchen for their viewing pleasure and as a Sesame Noodles 101 example. Wah luck was definitely not "mah" luck and I will not be returning again.
Simply the freshest Chinese food I ever had they don't have salt at all so bring your own. Wings and fries rice are great.
Ah Law Kitchen
I you are looking for consistent and reliable takeout Chinese food, Ah Law is the way to go. Service is quick, food is yummy. i always have enough for leftovers too.
Spring roll: oily but NOT as oily as other places where you end up with a lot of oil at the bottom of the packet/on your napkin Wonton chips: HATED it! The taste was awful. It tasted like oiled up chips that was left overnight. It wasn't like the other chinese places (crunchy and tasty without that oil) Moo goo gai pan: totally unexpected taste & look. I usually have that with the look of soy sauce and not plain/clear sauce with a whole bunch of veggies. However, they had a lot of half mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, and something else, but that's it., Regardless, it was not bad for taste. Will never order again though. Homemade iced tea: good
