New First Dragon
It would have been nice if the menu had more photos of the food but we were still pleased with the food we got, despite not knowing exactly what it would be. The chips-and-salsa vibes were fun and the soup was SCORCHING, so much so that it was still hot after eating our actual food. The dumplings were delicious as was the pork fried rice. The chicken chow mein was a bit different taste wise than other places.
I haven't stopped at the First Dragon since I was a little kid stopping after the car auction w my dad and this is my first time at the New First Dragon and I gotta say it's amazing and better then I remembered 🤤🤤🤤 the Crab Rangoon is some of the best I've ever had and the meal was out fast and delicious !
Million Dragon Restaurant
Incredible food! We had the lunch specials 4 and 6. My favorite was the fried rice, my daughter‘s favorite was the sweet-and-sour chicken. I really want to eat here again and try the Szechuan spiced chicken. Seriously yummy.
Million Dragon Restaurant is located at 235 East Main Street in Tilton, NH and is right next door to Cumberland Farms! My son and I love Chinese food and for many years we frequented another establishment, but when that establishment switched ownership, the food changed and we were not happy with the taste of the food and it wasn't authentic. We had been told about Million Dragon and so we figured we would give it a shot, and I am so glad I did. It's owned and run by a husband and wife, and their food is loaded with flavor and it's always fresh and hot!! My son always orders Beef Teriyaki sticks and Boneless Spare ribs and I get the General Tso's Chicken. The chicken is always done to perfection. I don't like white rice so I substitute pork fried rice. If you are looking for good authentic Chinese food, I highly recommend this establishment!!!
Tao Yuan Chinese Restaurant
Alright today I figured I give this restaurant a try, and to my surprise! The food was absolutely horrible!! I order something simple to go for lunch (Pork Lo Mein) and it comes with fried rice, egg roll and a crab rangoon. For the amount $12.44 the portion was absolutely small! Why? do I say it's horrible! Because the Pork Lo Mein was absolutely "SALTY" as hell, and the worst part the fried rice was dried having no flavor. Like it was kept in the fridge and taking out to microwave and serve it to me! Now for the egg roll it was like eating boil cabbage no flavor again! But having it roll into an egg roll form that's been deep fried and calling egg roll. I have been to many Chinese restaurant, and I definitely know my Chinese food well! But this restaurant is "EXPENSIVE" "FOOD IS HORRIBLE" I have taken picture showing you, my order! please take consideration before going to this restaurant. So if the OWNER, is reading this review "YOU NEED TO TAKE CONSIDERATION OF HOW YOU ARE SERVING CHINESE FOOD AND YOUR PRICES" "ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR REVIEWS, YOU ALREADY HAVE SO MANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS!" WORST PLACE EVER IN Mesa, Arizona!!!!!!! But obviously the OWNER doesn't care or have any concern about the business and especially to the CUSTOMERS, because they don't reply to any of their negative reviews! OMG the worst Chinese Food Ever! My daughter made me stir fry noodles...is totally better...and she's only 15 years old....shame on them! The last picture is my daughter noodle.
Everything was perfect. Host was very nice. It was cool not hot not warm . Perfectly cooled. Food was Authentic. 5 Stars. Update he brought me some soup. Nice guy .will be back
No 1 Kitchen
Always wonderful! I've been a patron of this restaurant for many years. I used to live in Rock Hill and frequented the restaurant almost daily. Now that I've moved from Rock Hill I don't get to enjoy them as often, but I always visit when I'm passing through. My favorite is the bourbon chicken, but I've never had anything that wasn't great. Everything's always fresh and prepared quickly. My order has always been completed accurately too.
I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, buffets, take out, dine in, and this one was probably the worst. If not, certainly one of the worst. Ordered General Tso, white rice and a sweet tea. The Tso had a weird texture, kinda slimy. The tea had like a hint of dish soap taste to it. The part I'm most upset about is the price. For $14 i was expecting either a larger quantity or a better quality, but instead it's just expensive low grade chinese food.
China Wok
Best Chinese food ever! They are consistent, fast, and very friendly. The meals come with generous portions and lots of meat, like the Broccoli Beef and the Cashew Chicken. The pork fried rice is loaded with roasted pork and veggies. I keep going back to try new things and I have yet to be disappointed!
I lived in Buckhannon for 3-4 months back in 2021. I still crave the sweet and sour chicken, and I haven’t found a place like it since.
Super Wok
Ordered a hour in advance food was still hot by the time we picked up and got it home! The vegetable lo mein was the best I have probably ever had. Both chicken we ordered was delicious. Fried dumplings were good, not the best but good. And the people were friendly. Will deff be going again!
I wanted chinese for lunch. I work in Bridgeport from 12:30 pm - 9 pm. I called at 11:25 before I went to work to place my order. She said it would be ready in 25 minutes which would have given me plenty of time. When I got there, my order wasn't ready. I waited until 12:10. I couldn't wait any longer. She followed me out the door but I told her I couldn't wait any longer because I would be late for work. I punched in to work at 12:26. Not only did I not get my order, I also did not have anything for my lunchbreak. Very frustrating! That was the whole point of ordering ahead!
China One
They are always friendly and have remembered what we order over the years from our address. The food is the best in town and I am so glad they still do traditional delivery. I feel more inclined to give a bigger tip. Thank you for being as speedy and special for the community!
I’ve eaten this restaurant’s food a few times the last couple of years. It was a good quality, great service place; it no longer is. Based on previous experience, I did a large order. Five large pork fried rice, crispy shrimp with salt and pepper, and Malaysian red curry with shrimp. The pork fried rice tastes off, there’s just something wrong about it. The pork is not the same as before, much lower quality. This was our favorite place to get this dish. The crispy shrimp was disgusting. Battered with the shell still on it and around 1/4 of the large shrimp not deveined. Way overcooked, think shrimp jerky. Ate it by picking the coating and shell off, nasty greasy mess. Malaysian red curry was the best dish, it only suffered by having an extreme variety of cuts used on the carrots. Thus difference led to some being cooked sufficiently and some being too thick to cook enough. Another layer needed peeled off the onion and it not used, that outer layer wasn’t an appealing addition to the meal.
Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant
The food here overall is good and the people are pleasant. However, I’ve ordered from here twice so far. The first time I ordered egg rolls and thought they gave me spring rolls by mistake. No big deal, it happens. But I ordered them again and again they’re the size of spring rolls. Every time I’ve had egg rolls from any other restaurant I’ve ordered from, they were twice the thickness. Also, I ordered pork fried rice and it consisted of only yellow rice and pieces of onion. No pork or anything else. Very disappointing.
The egg roll is burnt. The chicken has this old out of date smell and taste once you bite into it. Just completely not the restaurant it used to be. I feel bad leaving this review seeing they the only restaurant to serve golden chicken.(reminiscent of the New Jersey chicken I grew up on) Just sucks now sadly!
King Po Chinese Restaurant
It’s a hit and miss. Today I could tell my food was recooked and scorched my wings weren’t fresh I’m disappointed. I got to work to eat and was not satisfied. When it’s fresh it’s hot when I get to work. Today it was hard and warm.
They have really tasty food but only take cash. NO CARD TRANSACTIONS ACCEPTED.
New China Restaurant
We found our new Chinese spot! There is a reason this place has been around since the 1970s. It was so, so good. I wish I could give them more stars. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was really cool. It felt vintage and nostalgic but very clean. I loved walking through the round front door. The shrimp egg foo young was fantastic and my hubby loved his honey chicken. We can’t wait to go back.
My family and I have been going here for years (my parents for 37 years) and we have always loved the food and people there. Unfortunately, the lovely lady who owned this restaurant retired and while we were assured the food was the same that unfortunately was not the case. Nothing tasted the same as it did before, the prices have gone up, and the portions have gotten smaller. Overall this family favorite has disappointed us, and we are sad to see it happen.
Jade Palace Restaurant
Authentic Chinese food that reminds me of home. The owner is very nice and has supported our sorority’s charity ball many times. They have been renovating and only offering takeout and delivery. If you are looking for some authentic Chinese food, I recommend ordering the dishes with Chinese name on the menu.
Food was good but can tell it has been…adjusted for the local demographic’s palette. Ordered wonton soup, only 3 wontons and no filling? That was a first. The wonton itself was very thick instead of delicate and bursting with filling. Twice cooked pork was delicious but I was hoping for a bit more heat. The cabbage and mushroom was good, sauce is on the sweeter side.
Taste of China
I think I'm going to start rating places to eat by Praise Reports, Or Prayer Requests, and this place is in need of some Prayer. Gave this a chance after my bad experience in James City, having finally recovered, willing to try Chinese Cuisine, I am determined to find some place that's at least 4 stars, well Taste of China looked like it might be it as it had that hidden hole in the wall feel and look, but as soon as I opened the door and was greeted by this dinning room, and order off paper sheets cafeteria style I was having a serious deja vu moment back in James City. I and Agent 113, Ordered: Egg Rolls Steamed Dumplings Beef and Broccoli Chicken Chow Mien Orange Chicken Hot and Sour Soup Teriyaki Beef Skewers Drinks are in caned form only, no alcohol. Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Orange Soda, Mountain Dew, whatever you pick, remember 2 cans per-person, you will be thirsty , and will want another can, this trick will save you from waiting. The room is odd, when we ate there we're order after order going out, but none dined in. Place was dead, I will say it was clean, had a kind of 80s feel to it. Unlike the place in James City, this place was at least clean and organized. Well, we talked to a guy who said he went there at least once a week, he said some times it's good, sometimes it's bad... interesting. Ours was bad. Never had orange chicken that was bread and fried, served with this orange goop, looked like Slimer from Ghostbusters trying to pass a kidney stone. The chicken was hard and dry, more like a chicken nuggie from Gold Arch World than anything I've had in Chinese restaurants before, was bummed out looked forward to a classic titan. Hot and Sour Soup was Hot, like that it, couldn't taste the sour which is usually from the Chinese Black Vinegar, this was like eating a bottle of hot sauce, but you only taste burning. It was so hot, spicy hot, now I can take some hot stuff, but this wasn't classic Hot and Sour. This was just Hot and Hot. Beef Broccoli would have been fine, but the broccoli was raw, hard, too bad, as it was the only thing we had that held that classic flavor, think this was the last places problem too in James City. Egg rolls were dry, tasted like they were old, as was the oil they were cooked it. The Steamed dumplings were so thick and gooey I thought I was eating globs of glue, the insides weren't bad, ate two or three by gutting them. Teriyaki beef skewers were actually the only really good thing though a bit tough. And the Chow Mien was oily. Into the trash bin it went. You bus your own tables here, there is a tip jar so if you have cash hold back from tipping, as this place hits you first then you see what it's like... Been seeing this kind of thing more and more popping up in Asian Cuisine style restaurants, you tip good or big then feel like you got robbed, I tipped fair and good but still felt robbed and disappointed. I saw one baby high chair the classic wood style. The young woman who took my oder from the counter was friendly, had no issues with customer service, yet that's easy there really isn't any. No I'll not be going back, any time soon, maybe in a year and see if some things have changed...also if eating in and it's early evening and sun is going down, sit on the left side, as the Right side gets washed out with blinding sunlight. Bring a jacket too, gets very cold in there. When after a few weeks or months pass and I feel up for Asian Cuisine again, I'm hoping to find, determined in fact to find one good Asian place. I'm amazed places like Taste of China have lasted this long, serving sub-par or low food, no real service, place is drab, food way too spicy, too dry, tastes old, of old oil, or oily...sad. I guess when there isn't any other option but this people just take what they can, but that's the only way, they've stayed up and running. Wasn't even worth what I paid, dropped almost a hundred bucks...never got a free 2 liter soda either as advertised on the menu...I guess tips don't count, my wallet says otherwise.
This is what you want in a Chinese Restaurant. They have the BEST Sesame Chicken! Perfect Sauce! NO ONE has this sesame sauce, I’ve tried every Chinese Restaurant from New Bern to Morehead City. They also have an AMAZING Egg Roll, I ate it so quickly & forgot to take a picture. They are full of meat & carrot with a little cabbage. NO ONE else has them like this, Sooooo Good! I also get their Hot & Sour Soup usually $1 extra tofu, I do add Black Vinegar at home.
