China Express
Wow this food is so good this is my first time trying this spot out as I’m new here but let me tell you they did they thing I ordered general tso chicken pork fried rice w no veggie and I asked for white and and they understood the assignment great food great service 10/10
One of the worst Chinese take outs I’ve ever had. The chicken wings were burnt and tastes old. They need to change the fryer oil. The “pork fried rice” had NO pork, onions or sprouts. The general tso chicken was burnt and tastes old. They charge high prices for lunch special but it doesn’t compare to mall food. Skip this restaurant.
America New York Ri Wang Food Group Co. Ltd.
Ri wang sausage, taste the extremely difference than I tried before.
I picked up a load (53" Triler) from the company; - Quick check in-out. - Nice staff. - Tight space and just right side backup is possible for truck and trailer 53"
China Wok
It is very disappointing that ever time you walk by this place they are begging, screaming, at you to come to there food spot. The prices keep going higher and higher- they try to tack on additional prices at checkout (this has happened 3x to me thus far) so always watch yourself! The food does always hit the spot
I ordered a chicken with broccoli 🥦 they gave me 5 pieces of chicken n all broccoli n rice.I will never buy from them Again .They suck
Yan Min Kitchen
Great Chinese restaurant! A ton of food at a reasonable price. Not too salty either (one of my complaints of many generic Chinese restaurants). Pork Bun is a must have (limited supply depending on the day). Owners are nice people who treated us with respect knowing we won’t return for a while because we are not locals. Give it a try and decide for yourself. Special recommendations are pork bun and house chiu fun (stir fried rice noodle).
It can be challenging to find a quality take-out Chinese restaurant in Suffolk County near Islip. This particular establishment consistently serves decent food in comparison to other nearby Chinese restaurants. Additionally, customers should be aware that a small surcharge of one to five cents is applied whether paying with cash or credit card. It makes no sense except to line their pockets.
Yong Wang Kitchen
Close to my house and whenever I want quick Asian fast food, this is my go to. They are super fast and quality is good.
UMM. I tried it once but won't make that mistake again. I purchased shrimp egg foo young. The gravy was watery. The food tasted like dish soap. The meal was suppose dinner but it was a lunch size portion for a child but waaaay overpriced.
Tasty House II Incorporated
My family and I moved to the Islip area in 2020 and we’ve been going to this spot for a few years now. They make good food and their service is great. We’ve tried a bunch of their appetizers and lunch/dinner combos. Their dumplings, wontons, and soups are all pretty good. The people who work here are kind and polite too. They smile and welcome you when you walk into their restaurant. We’ve tried a bunch of other chinese restaurants in the area and haven’t been as content. Highly recommend this spot.
A long time ago, I wrote how good this place was. I also personally called the place to say how great the food was! I now take every word that I said back!!! The loss of quality in the actually cooked food and products that they now buy FROZEN is ridiculous! Have you ever wanted something for a long time and you couldn't have it? Well, we wanted Tasty House's food for a long time and we chose yesterday as the day to place an order. We ordered the chicken chop suey and there were 3 TINY PIECES OF CHICKEN IN IT! The PORK FRIED RICE WAS A PORK FRIED BRICK! (Not even the birds outside my yard that I dumped the rice to feed them wanted it!) The VEGETABLE ROLLS AND THE SPRING ROLLS WERE SKINNIER THAN A MOZZARELLA STICK! WE SPENT $30 ON THIS GARBAGE AND WE ARE HAPPY THAT GRUBHUB REFUNDED US!!! WE ARE TAKING OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!
Bo Wah Kitchen
The pho soup is delicious !!! The food amazing and the staff are very quick ! Unfortunately there is no much sitting area but overall prices and food amazing !!!
I ordered the vegetable egg foo young, which the gravy had no taste to it. The rice was just regular white rice overcooked and no taste. Also had two spring rolls and the shrimp toast both was horrible and burnt. Only thing good it was a fast delivery but I would rather they took a little more time for cooking so they wouldn't burn the food.
Stir Fry 88
The most unpleasant tasting orange chicken I have ever had. Something is not right. Extremely bitter after taste and aroma is not of food (it smells like urine)— Also had the bourbon chicken, not appetizing either but better than the orange chicken. The fried rice, was more of a mushy rice than your typical Chinese fried rice. Overall terrible experience. Panda Express is 1,000 times better.
Freshly made dishes, where black pepper beef, bourbon chicken, and garlic shrimps were my favorite. The lo mein are stretchy and tasty, not mushy at all. Portion size is considered generous. You can’t go wrong with their food! 🤤🤤
New Ming
Went to pick up food on Memorial Day weekend 2024. Food was unedible. No flavor. Short ribs were burnt and dry. Fried rice had nothing but rice and a few specks of onions. String beans and shrimp were so stringy could not even eat it. Shrimp rolls are stale and unedible. And this is the only Chinese restaurant takeout that has an answering service.
This is not an exaggeration and not out of anger, but this must be the worst Chinese food there is! This was not the first time we've ordered here, but thought I'd give them another chance and try a second time. I got a beer with broccoli, and my coworker got chicken Szechuan, both in our dishes, the veggies were not sauteed and the meat had no flavor whatsoever! There were no spices and no flavor. We ended up throwing it all away. What a waste that was. Do yourself a favor and cross the road to Red Apple, though their food is not the best, but at least there's flavor in it. Needless to say, never going back there again
China Wok 2
Just stopped in to get some soup tonight on this very cold and blustery December evening. Wonton soup five bucks and change for the large I don't think I've ever gone to this store before and all the years that I've lived here. You walk in and it's in really bad shape It's in really very rundown . they need to renovate it or paint it just at least paint it. Paint those wonders for rejuvenation. Anyway the soup was great perfect. Loaded with wontons But the real treasure are the noodles it comes with the wide noodles that you just don't see anymore in these Chinese food stores I love the wide noodles and how they're cooked in the crispiness of them and the big giant bubbles when they melt in your mouth This is worth going back just for the noodles.
Horrible food The vegetables in both dishes were from bags of frozen defrosted vegetables. Fresh broccoli isnt mushy as it was on my order. The chicken was canned. Shame on you !!!
No. 1
Fast a reasonably priced take out. Tastes good, always fresh, the people are nice and don’t scream 1 dollar extra whenever u ask for something
We used to buy from this restaurant a lot. Lately, though, their food has been lacking. Just tonight I had a hankering for either coconut shrimp or coconut chicken. Thinking I would end up with cooked tails on my shrimp (past experience) I decided to order the chicken. Needless to say, the sauce tasted great. Otherwise, I can't tell you how the chicken was, as there were almost NO pieces of chicken in the fried breading. There were tiny pieces that were dried to "stringy" things, and 2 ir 3 moist bites, but other than those, there was nothing but fried, very hard, crunchy breading pieces. Such a huge disappointment. After all of the business we've given them, seems, sadly, it's time to find a new Chinese restaurant. This was the last straw (or dried, stringy chicken, as it were) for paying a bit of money for non-enjoyable food!
Eastern Pavilion
We chose Eastern Pavilion as our wedding catering. The staff were supportive. The food was great and well-rated by our guests. The delivery was on time with warming equipment. It’s a great choice if you hope to have original and delicious Chinese food at your event with a reasonable price.
Was here the first time for my birthday dinner—WOW, what an unexpected wonderful experience. The inside has been fully renovated and looks beautiful. Clean and modern decor that you can tell the owners truly take pride in. The food was equally delicious—our table had a variety of appetizers and main courses, everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Beef with broccoli was excellent. Service was also excellent. Such a treat to have this fabulous restaurant in the neighborhood—-we will most certainly be back! Highly recommended.
