Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations in terms of taste, portion, efficiency and price. The Guanbing I ordered was not only on the pricier side, but it also lacked flavor, with a bland and oily taste. Furthermore, the portion size was quite small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. I also waited 20 min for it. I hope that they can address these issues to provide a better dining experience for future patrons.

Very nice service! The food came out fast and time/waiting wasn’t a problem at all. As for quality, the duck pieces that I got were large and juicy. Definitely worth coming back here again.

Hello! We finally decided to try this place after passing by many times. It was impressive to see just one person handling such a large menu. However, we gave it four stars because there weren’t many vegetarian options. That said, the food was filling and delicious, making for a great dinner and lunch the next day. The prices are also very reasonable. While we might order again in the future, I have to admit that Asian cuisine isn’t my favorite. Still, thanks for the great experience!

Now this is a disclaimer This review reflects on my experience in my purchases ordering food from this location so take everything with you about to read with a grain of salt. The first time I visit this location I ordered chicken and broccoli with white rice and it turned out pretty good for the most part what I didn’t like was the chili oil that I received. It wasn’t spicy and the chili was flakes that were in the oil was burn. (Not A Fan) So I thought maybe this was a bad batch so I went back two days later and ordered a A general Tao chicken and that was pretty good too. But again, The chili oil not very good at all. Burn chili flakes and Yes, I’d love spicy ingredients So I decided to go to another location just for chili oil, and now my third visit was a little bit more on the opposite side because he was not expecting me to order a chow lo mein dish and that was pretty good too but the chili oil again, isn’t the best….. So my experience results are that the food is good but anything else other than that like chili or you may want to skip on the chili oil. You can always ask for hot sauce packets and that’s an option but if I were you just buy a bottle of Sriracha. Now when it comes down to hospitality wise the owner is super friendly but he did not realize I’m not from New York. Now he’s a one-man army it seems like so if you do make a visit to this location keep in mind that you will probably wait just a little bit more longer for your food because it seems that he wants to do everything himself and I can VOTE as I right these review that the food quality is excellent American Chinese standard food. And he does have a A rating too…. So Don’t judge. A book by its cover (wink)

I normally have great service and rarely order online but today I ordered plain lo mien and got lo mien with tinnie pieces of meat in it. I'm a vegetarian but what if this kind if error cause a food allergy or food poisoning. Plain lo mien does not come with anything mixed in it. And you can clearly see the small pieces of meet. Just highly disappointed. I guess seemed like a new customer being that I rarely order online. It's not like it was done on purpose... but mixing up an order that's plain is pretty noticeable. This is my lifestyle not a diet. Recieved a new lo mien and it still has meat in it. Smh ok no longer my favorite Chinese restaurant. I've been a patron since January and never had this experience before.

**Poor Experience at East Garden Chinese Restaurant** I recently had an extremely disappointing experience ordering from East Garden Chinese Restaurant. The customer service was appalling, and the entire situation was handled with incompetence and disregard for the customer. I ordered the quart of Shrimp with Garlic Sauce & an extra pint of white rice TO NO AVAIL!!!!!! The delivery driver failed to deliver my order to the correct address, building, or floor. Despite my clear instructions to deliver the food directly to my apartment door—especially since I am differently-abled—the driver ignored these directions. Instead, I was inconvenienced and forced to go downstairs and wait in the lobby and outside in the cold. While I waited as directed by the restaurant via phone call the driver inexplicably headed into the wrong building instead of waiting downstairs as restaurant instructed. This was not only frustrating but completely avoidable if he had followed my delivery instructions. There was no moped or bike parked on front of my address either. My RING doorbell camera also confirms no one accessed my apartment door, not to mention the entire building! When I contacted the restaurant again, the female customer service representative was dismissive, rude, and argumentative. She repeatedly hung up on me, spoke over me, and seemed more concerned with leaving work for the night than resolving my issue which she stated from her own mouth. She claimed that a photo sent by the driver verified delivery at my address, but this was false. My apartment number is similar to many others in neighboring buildings, so it’s clear the driver delivered to the wrong location. To make matters worse, I was told that a young man in his twenties or thirties falsely claimed he had ordered the food and accepted it. This individual was not me(a woman)nor anyone associated with me. The restaurant even stated that this person was a repeat customer, which makes no sense because this was my first time ordering from them. This negligence resulted in a complete stranger having my food, name, and address. This entire experience was a major inconvenience and a waste of my time, money, and energy. The restaurant’s handling of the situation was unprofessional and unacceptable. I am left hungry and frustrated due to their poor service and lack of accountability. This incident needs to be reported to prevent others from experiencing such an ordeal. As I was trying to rectify the situation, I managed to reach the driver's phone at one point. However, instead of speaking with him directly, I was met with a foreign language and profanity being spewed in the background. This left me both confused and disgusted, further highlighting the lack of professionalism and respect shown by the staff involved in this incident. I will never be a patron at this establishment again. I'm anxiously anticipating the restaurant owners response to rectify the distress I endured to my health. I deserve a complimentary (free) order due to the disservice and inconvenience I experienced. I don't recommend this establishment.

11/25 Update: Its good when its hot. Especially on a cold fall day. The combination of white rice, chicken and brocolli soaked in that delicious brown sauce warms my body from the inside. Bae got the fried chicken. She only likes the skin so she saves me the meat. Score for me. Excellent chinese food take out. I got the beef and brocolli. Bae the four chicken wings with egg fried rice and onions.

Horrible customer service. They charged me 2 dollars for a drizzle of bbq sauce on my chicken. Then when I was putting the ketchup on my fries she grabs it out of my hand and puts it on my chicken which I didn’t ask for. If you like good service this isn’t the place for you!!!!

The cashier lady who is working now around 7:00pm 4/2/25, was only nice and friendly with the white people who came before me. She was smiling and saying thank you. But me as the asian guy, she wasn’t too nice and just gave me my food without even looking. That’s passive racism.

If you order chicken wings or egg rolls from them the cook toss them in cold oil and heat it up as their cooking. Once ordered a pepper steak with onions from them and they left the supermarket label on the pepper..... The previous owners were better.

This place used to be so good. The person who answered the phone was so rude that it made me uncomfortable but I still ordered because it was convenient. I asked for hot sauce and he said yeah sure rushing me off the phone. Still didn't put any. Then as I started to eat my chicken I realized the inside was raw. I'm super disgusted. It wasn't like this a few years ago. Now everytime I order something is wrong. I wont be ordering from here ever again.

Decent basic food. We had the braised chicken thigh and the sauce was too salty but the chicken was cooked well. I think it's a poached chicken, not a braised chicken, but it still tasted ok. The rice is normal. Cucumbers were pickled decently as well. The price is a little high but not too high for Long Island City.

Taste is not bad, but as you can see this little bowl with couple piece of chicken cost you $7, rugged af

I dunno why it took me this long to try Panda Express but just went back for the second time ever to try more meats! I think I might be obsessed. For the record, I really don’t like anything too sweet so automatically avoided those and I did try a little Beijing beef though still too sweet. Teriyaki chicken was tolerable but wish it was a bit more salty to counteract the sweetness. However I was blown away by the mushroom chicken, salt and pepper chicken and broccoli beef in that order. I was also impressed that the texture of the chow mein was bouncy and not mushy. And I also loved the fried rice. The sides don’t have much flavor but I love using the leftover juices to mix in -otherwise would be too salty.

Panda Express is arguably the most well-known representation of American-style Chinese cuisine, but this particular branch doesn't seem to meet the standards of Panda Express. Perhaps it's because they've recently opened, but the overall operation of the restaurant is quite chaotic. The process from ordering to payment isn't very smooth, leading to confusion among customers and longer wait times. Additionally, while the food is freshly prepared, it doesn't taste as good as other Panda Express locations in New York, such as the one in Midtown Manhattan. Surprisingly, they don't offer Panda Express's signature fortune cookies, which makes the dining experience feel incomplete. The only thing worth recommending is that the cleanliness of their kitchen and restaurant seems decent. Overall, the restaurant isn't worth recommending at the moment, but hopefully, they will improve over time.

This place is great! Amazing even but they don’t cook fresh food. I just recently ate from them and I got food poisoning and they was the last place I ate from. I have not been able to sleep or anything for the past two days in the hospital and all that. I personally wouldn’t go there anymore. It’s not my first time going there I eat from them a lot but I never thought I would ever get food poisoning.

The spot right here is in the trenches good food quality can’t go wrong with shrimp fried rice and some chicken wings

My first time ordering food here. I ordered a large chicken with black bean sauce dish for $15, and the food came with very little chicken and so much onion (photo below). The chicken tasted plain too. The other reviewers seemed to back up my claim in regards to the onions. Luckily I did not give any extra delivery tips. They only accept cash. Not recommended.

Truly wish there was a zero stars button. This wasn't bad food, it was horrible and worthy of a review. Do yourself a favor and try another spot. Shrimp texture felt odd like it wasn't real food, rice was clumpy, chicken had an after taste that was almost a soap like taste. Wish I read the reviews before ordering.
