Taste absolutely amazing, super good prices better than the ones in flushing for sure. Authentic too coming from a Chengdu person
Sichuan people don’t lie to Sichuan people! Very delicious! As soon as the chef opened his mouth, I knew it was safe. I ordered four dishes and none of them were disappointing! Rabbit is delicious! Very tender! The price is not expensive either! Give me fire!
TAI ER SICHUAN CUISINE 太二酸菜鱼 (FLUSHING)
Best pickle fish I ever had! We went there for lunch, chose one of the lunch combos for two which comes with some side dishes, it was perfect portion for four of us. The fish filet and pickle vegetable were so fresh, even we got the non spicy one, it still got a perfect kick of both garlic and sour flavor. Even the rice tasted really good, definitely 100/100!
The food was really tasty and flavorful. We ordered many dishes for sharing. Also I loved the hot red tea. The taste was pretty good! The service was good, but we found that the system over charged the tip service. Over all, we enjoyed eating at this restaurant
JUQI
Amazing food and service! We had 8 people so we got one of the private rooms. We ordered about 12 dishes and they all came out relatively fast. Definitely get the Peking duck; they cut the duck in front of you and display it really nicely. The Juqi fried rice is also really cool and represents the coal stoves of the past. 10/10 recommend this place, especially for large parties.
We had an amazing experience at JUQI! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The servers were incredibly attentive, always checking in without being intrusive, and made us feel very well cared for. The space itself is beautiful and spacious, and it’s very kid-friendly too, which made the whole outing even more enjoyable. My daughter kept saying she feels like she’s in a palace! We’ll definitely be coming back!
千禧海鲜酒楼
I've only been here at Prestige Catering for family style lunches and dinner meals (have not tried the dim sum). There are a few notable entrees that I've only seen served here which makes them unique. Must try the Pineapple beef, super tender beef sauteed with peppers and pineapple chunks. Fried Geoduck or geoduck and sashimi platters are very impressive. Very fresh. Canned tea, fresh tea, beer and soft drinks available. Prestige Catering also shares a space with the Wagyu place on the second floor.
Went there for $4.35 (L,M,S) same price dimsum , ordered shrimp dumplings (Har Gow) which is special for $5.25 and taste great. The pork ribs which is a bit hard and not tasty, then chicken feet its OK. I then lack of confidence on rest of their food quality/value and left for only 3 dishes. It's not their food is bad, just compared to other options around, I will go for to other dim sum restaurants nearby.
三十七巷海鲜火锅
The ingredients are fresh, the staff are friendly, and there is enough personal space. A suitable location for oneself or gathering with friends
Recommend the sea food, they’re fresh and delicious. Not recommend beef and meat. From sitting down to finishing the meal, you have 2 hours and we were not be informed at the beginning. You’ll know that the restaurant really cares about how many customers they have per day since they keep pressing us to leave even when we still have food on the table.
DunHuang Lanzhou Beef Noodle
This place exceeded my expectations. I had the pickled vegetables beef noodle dish and it was tasty. Several different noodle dishes and main dishes to choose from. The sweet and sour pork dish was alright. The ambience was clean and inviting, unlike the majority of flushing eateries. The service was friendly and helpful. I would definitely eat here again when I’m in the neighborhood.
❤️❤️❤️ GREAT 👍 The broth is carefully textured. Good use of ingredients without overly doing it. Multiple noodle textures and widths. NO hand pulled noodle option is a minus. Menu is abundant but not huge. Great. Ambience is clean and straightforward. Overall highly recommended for noodle 🍜 soup 🍲 😋
Charming Sichuan
This place is new and we wanted to give it a try. The menu is a white sheet of paper with just Chinese writing. If you can’t read Chinese, you won’t be able to order. I think the real menu isn’t available yet. Didn’t ask. Luckily my wife can read and we ordered a few dishes we usually like to compare to other restaurants. The cold cabbage they give you as a starter for free is tasty. The oil is a so fragrant. We ordered sauerkraut fish. It was good, fish was silky smooth. Full of flavor. Vermicelli on the bottom. Drank the soup with the vermicelli. Duck blood dish was flavorful also. But the other ingredients didn’t have time to soak in flavor yet. The stir fry cabbage dish was a little on the soft side. But very flavorful. The best dish came last, the fatty pork with black beans and peppers. The most intense flavors and really good. Highly recommended. Worth a try. Will definitely go back and try more dishes. Flushing has a lot of Szechuan restaurants to choose from now!
Charming Sichuan is a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood! Previously a noodle place, it has transformed into a spot that specializes in bold, authentic Sichuan flavors. The food is incredibly tasty—packed with spice and rich, complex flavors that hit just the right balance. If you’re a fan of spicy food, this place won’t disappoint. Every dish we tried had the perfect kick and was bursting with flavor. The transformation from the old noodle place to this vibrant Sichuan restaurant is impressive, and it’s quickly becoming a go-to spot for anyone craving authentic Sichuan cuisine. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Ho Mei
Yeah the delivery guy always add on a few extra cents.. but I would too considering he’s been delivering for a while.. it comes within 30 minutes and I love the rice. The fried rice and some chicken at the end of a long day out always hits the spot. And sometimes they give me some free soda 😊
Best Chinese takeout in Queens. Everything there is tasty and the chicken wings are amazing! Wouldn't go anywhere else. George is awesome
China Delight
The food isnt the same it used to be this used to be my go to, family ordered it today and it didn't taste the same. Sad because these guys used to be hella good
For some reason Jamaica Chinese food is trash(from Brooklyn). This is one of the best one so far, however their food is so blah. Tell me why I order pork fried rice and PAID extra for extra pork and veggies and it looked like they counted the pork. Literary like three pieces of pork and veggies. So far this is the better options for Chinese in this area so there you have it.
Sea Star
Ordered a house special with jumbo Shrimps the jumbo shrimps was so hard to bite into I cracked a tooth I will not order from this place again 👎🏻
Very tasty food! Nice crew!
Xi'an Famous Foods 西安名吃 | Woodside
I am a little scared to post this review because the Xi’an rep who comments on these posts seems a bit off-putting but I’ll share my personal experience here anyway. I’ve eaten at various Xi’an locations and most of them have been good. I must admit I haven’t been to one in a few years so I was surprised to find that the flavor had changed slightly. The chili oil sauce that they use currently has more of a sour note than I remember. This isn’t a bad thing as many people enjoy a good spicy sour flavor balance. This wouldn’t deter me from going back to Xi’an either but let’s just say I enjoyed the old flavor better. Of course, I don’t know if they actually changed their ingredients or if the sauce has minute variations between different establishments but that’s just how I thought the flavor tasted. I ordered the beef noodle soup as well as the mount qi pork noodle. The pork was super flavorful and very tender. The sauce coated the noodles perfectly and made for a very delicious experience. The beef noodle soup was piping hot and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The beef was also very tender and had its own delectable flavor. This particular place is a part of the Xi’an warehouse it seems. There is a small seating area but no bathroom. There is plenty of street parking. Also, as I was taking my order to go quite a ways back home, I asked for the noodles to be packed separate from the soup. When I picked up my order, my online request was not carried out so I verbally asked again. I was told simply that they don’t do that. Lesson learned that if I want to order soup from here, I have to eat it right away, eat the noodles soggy, or bring my own container to separate the noodles from the soup.
Unique style of thick noodles. The aignage recommends you choose at least some chilli, and that you dine in, as the noodles don't survive transport well. They have clear screens into the kitchen, so you can watch you noodles stretched to order. A few menu items were out of stock but this was not marked on the board, disappointed customers were just told upon ordering. This store is open surprisingly short hours, just lunch times.
New Peking Kitchen
As in today June 24.2024 I had a shrimp broccoli with white rice and it was so upsetting because I use to love ordering food here but now i won’t even order here anymore because of this and how weird it tasted. Dont recommend this place anymore!!!!
Food was ok, but below average. The main problems are: 1. The prices are a decent amount more than they have on their site and most pictures. (My total was gonna be 15.50 going by their website, but was 24.50) 2.The delivery driver was rude. I only had 25$ since the total was supposed to be less, I gave it to him and he kept his hand out and said “Is that it? Where’s the Tip?” I said I don’t have anymore and he told me to check. Then he said “Next time, make sure you have a tip”. I saw another review talking about him but didn’t think he’d still be working there or deliver mine. Won’t be ordering from here again.
