Phoenix Coqui
Authentic Puerto Rican restaurant in Phoenix will not disappoint your taste buds. My only complaint was the pernil did not have a crunchy skin but that’s my preference. My favorite were the alcapurrias de yuca 🇵🇷 Check out more of my reviews on IG @igooglereviewyou
My husband is Puerto Rican and this is the only true authentic good Puerto Rican restaurant in AZ! It reminds me of his mom’s cooking! Today we got the special and OH MY GOSH it was to die for! This is our go to for feel good food and will continue to be! Thanks Phoenix Coqui!
Happy Food
They dnt listen what your order!! They give you want they want to sell away! I order the combination chicken bowl with pork chow mein and the damn lady (not the young one she did listen) gave me dry teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki sauce was definitely not teriyaki sauce it was more like stir fry sauce but nasty!! Definitely won’t be coming for a second chance ever again!! Definitely Thumb DOWN!!
…so I ordered the general tso chicken sub fried rice, + $2.00.. ok, no problem there! The problem came when I wanted to add extra bean sprouts and onions to my fried rice. I was willing to pay extra for it but not $8 for an entirely different side of vegetable fried rice because apparently sub fried rice is just rice..no egg, sprouts, peas eggs or onions! So why charge $2 to fry my white rice in oil?! Ridiculous!!!
Flaming Wok
Your assembly line service got my order wrong, why don't you have quality control! My order was a 3 course combo of fried rice, Sweet & Sour Pork and Bourbon Chicken! What I got was Lo mein, Orange Chicken and Brocoli Beef. I paid $32.90 for the wrong meal!? This cannot be my fault! How do propose to fix this? My suggestion is to pay a delivery service, like Uber Eats, to bring me my order OR refund my debit purchase! Now, decide what you will do and act!
They're always amazing there I had their bourbon chicken and rice and the servings are huge for the money you spend very good place
Lin's Grand Buffet
It was crowded, the wait was maybe 5 mins. All the food was hot and fresh. Wait, the staff was friendly and bought the drinks super fast. My only concern was the ceiling was leaking in the women's bathroom. They had a bucket and a sign saying the floor was wet, but the bucket was not catching any water. The parking lot is small for a restaurant that's always this busy.
This Buffet offers great quality and a variety of food items. More than we expected from sushi, a Mongolian bar, soup, salmon, salad, and iced cream. The best part their prices are still affordable $20 per person.
Hibachi Grill
I stopped in for a "buffet to-go." I was pleased in the establishment and the selections. There were not many people at the stations. The food was streaming hot and plenty for 6p. They have your typical Chinese dishes, susji rolls, salads, soups, and desserts. For dinner to-go, they charge by the pound... A decent price. There is a huge parking lot, as the restaurant is located within a shopping center. Accessible parking and entrance.
Excellent as usual, great quality 👌in their items and the best flavors, amazing variety for all... even for dessert, can't go wrong with it, try it and enjoy 😉😋
Las Vegas Seafood Buffet
The food most I say are fantastic and the waiters are so nice I will definitely be coming back
I went with the whole family to try it out. They just recently opened. The food was okay. More variety than a few other Chinese buffets though. The servers were nice. One of the cooks that changed a tray of corn had bad manners though and made one of my sons feel bad. My wife wasn't impressed though so more than likely we won't be back there as there's closer buffets near us. I left the tip when I paid with the card when I arrived. I hope they do give it to the servers.
Cherryblossom Noodle cafe
Food is delicious. Various amounts of Ramen, Japanese’s noodles, etc. there are other food items as well. Sushi. Steak. Appetizers. Strawberry lemonade drink was super tasty. I ordered udon noodles which were noodles on the thicker size but very soft texture wise. Shrimps pork etc. desert selection is minimal but from what’s seen looks amazing. Would definitely come back again.
You can find Japanese style food in this place. Service was very good and the food was delicious. I definitely will be back and try more items from the menu.
Thai Recipe Bistro
Checked out Thai Recipe Bistro last night, and even after all these years, it remains one of my favorite spots for Thai food in Phoenix. The menu has shifted a bit over time, but the flavor? Still absolutely on point. My friend and I shared the orange chicken and the pad see ew, along with some edamame to start. Everything was delicious—the kind of comfort food that hits just right. And the portions? Massive. Easily could’ve fed three or four people, no problem. The atmosphere is very casual—no frills, just solid food and friendly service. If you’re looking for a low-key place with consistently great Thai dishes, this is it. I’ll definitely be back (again and again).
First time here. Tip: when you walk in you have to write yourself on waitlist, they don’t do it for you. We waited about 45 minutes to be seated. It was very busy and the employees were doing their best to serve food. They even have a robot delivering food. Crab puffs were good and the sweet chili sauce was very light. The yellow curry was thick and sweet. I got mine with beef and it was super tender. My husband got the pineapple fried rice with seafood. It was very seasoned and the seafood was marinated well. Thai tea was awesome and my husband got a drink called the watermelon jolly rancher.
Pete's Fish & Chips
I'm visiting Phoenix for the first time I researched Pete's Fish and Chips before showing up. They are as proud of this establishment as El Paso is proud to call Chico's Tacos their own. I knew in advance you have to eat outside at a picnic table and that you are to eat with your hands. No plastic ware is provided. It is cash only. I ordered the #2 special (2 fish, 7 shrimp, fries and a 32 oz. Drink. I paid an upcharge for substituting onion rings for fries. I asked for a magnet souvenir and the girl asked "nuts or no nuts?" I told her a magnet like you stick on a refrigerator, not a brownie. It took 3 tries to get the magnet. It was free. Although it took a while for the order, it was hot and fresh. I expected some tartar sauce but instead received 3 cocktail sauces. It worked. The fish were small and square, like McDonald's. The shrimp were a breaded strip that contained small shrimp. The printed hype didn't match reality. San Antonio easily has better chain establishments, like J. Anthony's or Sea Island. I was greatly disappointed.
Prices are good! The breaded items I got were amazing. Fish, nuggets, shrimp wow definitely reorder. The fries and burger and corn dog was generic I'd skip them next time. But all that for like $30. Pete's sauce is kinda spicy but it was good! So I came back 2 hrs drive away and the service was still amazing and they even gave us two stickers. Food is fresh and tasty. This is great priced good food.
Canton Wong
Ok here's what I need to say. Don't judge this book by its cover. The food is perfect. The service is service. The atmosphere is non existent. Give it a try and leave your review. I will be eating here again ....when in Rome... literally oh yeah there is no dine in.
Always made fresh! So I do recommend calling in to place your order ahead of time over the phone so you don't wait while it's being cooked. Good portions. Recommend the orange chicken meal or half fish w fries.
Lin's Grand Buffet
So I looked at the baked salmon and touched it with the spoon, and it looked very dry. Other than that, all the other food looked fresh. It was very fancy inside and it didn’t match the humans that worked there.
It had ample options for me to find gf tasty treats although they did not recommend it. I can handle traces of gluten so fresh prawns, sushi, baked ribs, and steamed fish were all great. Seniors discount helped too. Next time I’ll try the Mongolian grill.
PHO VN
Food was great! Friendly family atmosphere, great music, great people, great experience overall. Will definitely be back. Lots of food choices, low prices. Great well lit seating. Loved the music and food choices. Generous portions! Thank you so much, loved the authenticity and great easy to access location
Great service, Delicious food, and an inviting atmosphere. Thanks for your hospitality and friendliness :) Got a personal visit from the chef to ensure we were enjoying our meal ☺️ Thank you!
